My experience at Carpet Mart was excellent from start to finish. Gary and Mark are friendly, helpful and pleasant to work with. I had been numerous places looking for nylon carpeting and Carpet Mart had the best selection that I found anywhere.When I was stuck on what color of carpet to coordinate with our new hardwood floors and ceramic floor tile, Gary suggested one. I brought home a few samples, studied them for a few days and decided to order the one that Gary suggested, crossing my fingers that it would work. I had an excellent experience with Carpet Mart and More. I couldn’t make up my mind on the carpet I wanted and probably went to their showroom no less than 6 or 7 times asking questions and taking samples home for a family vote.Both Gary and Mark were so nice. There was no hard sale, no pressure. They would patiently tell me the carpet differences, the pad differences, what was currently in style etc. Everything I would need to know to make a very informed decision. They never acted like I was a pain with my many questions and visits. Once I decided, the installation went great. Manuel and Miguel were unbelievable. They moved all the heavy furniture, and we had a lot! They worked so hard and did a perfect job. They vacuumed afterward and put the furniture back exactly centered where it came from. I couldn’t have had a better experience and I felt the price was reasonable as well. I love my new carpet!

The team at Carpetmart was helpful as we searched for wood flooring and carpeting. They worked hard to help us secure adequate quantities despite nationwide shipping delays. Terry at the office was informative and very responsive and got us set up with Gary to evaluate a need for carpet in our hallway, stairs and master bed.We had used another carpet company in the past and had a bad experience so I was more wary but Gary had a wealth of knowledge and put my husband and I at ease. There was an issue with the way prior laminate had been laid at the top of our stairs incorrectly in the home we bought creating a tripping hazard and they were able to offer a solution that removed the tripping hazard and looked fantastic.The actual installers were punctual - they actually showed up early which worked out well for us - and they were meticulous in the details making sure it looked perfect. My home needed updating. I had old fashioned tile and carpet throughout my house and worked with Gary Barrett for a solution. He suggested vinyl plank flooring which would go over my existing tile. He spent time helping me choose the perfect color and style, and then arranged for the installation. I couldn’t be happier with the result! Great people, service, product selection and pricing. We had been to some of the big names, and a neighbor suggested trying Carpet Mart. We were not disappointed. Terry was a pleasure to speak with. We told her what we were looking for and she pointed out some options, and sent us home with some samples to look at in the space. The estimate was to our surprise less than some of the others. We ordered, left the deposit, and then scheduled the work. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time. They were courteous and respectful of the house, and the garage and front yard as they worked cutting pad and carpet and moving it into the house ans basement. After the carpet tacks were down, you wouldnt know they were here, even as they went in and out of the house. Both owners have worked for large chain carpet stores and they truly understand how best to meet the needs of their customer. Installation took place quickly and the end product was fabulous!Update: December 2018We had the pleasure of working with Gary for a second time at Carpet Mart & More. We had new carpet installed in a home last March 2018. We then moved into a new home in December 2018. We had a very short window to have around 4,000 sq ft of carpet and laminate flooring installed prior to us moving into the new home. Not only were Gary and his team very responsive to our request, but they were also competitive with pricing. We had shopped around and knew the amount of money we were willing to spend. Gary was exceptional with meeting our needs. We receive many compliments on the quality and plushness of the carpet that was chosen. We’ve also had designers and contractors comment on how well the laminate flooring was installed in our basement, not to mention how beautiful it is! Had an idea what I was looking for and Gary took the time to answer my initial questions and show me several different options.I returned later with my wife as we had narrowed down and decided on specifics that we needed to meet our budget, design and timeframe.Gary gave us samples to take home to see how they’d look in our home and scheduled a time to come out and take measurements so we could get an estimate.We decided on the carpet we liked and headed back to the store to return the samples and let Gary know what carpet we wanted to go with.We set up a time the next evening for Gary to come take measurements and get a layout, he emailed the estimate by mid morning the following day listing every detail with notes on what we had discussed as well as options for install that fit into our schedule as we’re remodeling and doing much of the work ourselves.We set a date for install, Gary placed the order and we got to work on finishing up the painting/staining parts of our project we wanted done before the new carpet. Gary was super flexible with our schedule accommodating our timeline and comminicating the order/shipping/receiving logistics at every step. Install day came and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. We choose a patterned carpet and the installers were meticulous in the layout, cutting and alignment of the carpet and seems. You cannot tell that there’s a single seem anywhere, everything lines up perfectly. When the crew was done with the install they vacuumed and cleaned up everything. They loaded up the old carpet for disposal just as promised.In addition to the service Gary provided, I’d be remiss to leave out the help of Terry as well. If I called and Gary was busy on a call or out measuring/estimating, Terry was always right there to answer any question without a bit of hesitation.Home Depot and Lowe’s May offer “free install” but the cost is hidden in the price of the carpet and padding. Carpet Mart and More was $2k under both the big box stores for a better carpet, padding and installers that they have worked with for a long time. Plus I didn’t have to search around for someone to help me in the carpet/flooring department only to be told that the they aren’t sure because they’re just filling in and the person I should really be talking to is off that day and will be back next week.Gary and Terry and their team at Carpet Mart and More is ACES!

We are extremely satisfied with our experience purchasing carpet from Gary at Carpet Mart. What a relief! We were able to find an honest person and a company that can deliver a product. Gary was a professional with the highest standards, and it was a pleasure dealing with him. He even stated that he had made an error when giving us some information and quickly corrected it. Wow! He showed up at our house, (at the time he said he would) to measure for carpet. He gave us a price within the time frame he stated he would, and with a breakdown of the charges. The time period from when we accepted the contract to when the carpet was installed, was incredibly fast. He even beat all of the competitors by far with the total cost. We highly recommend Carpet Mart!Our Nightmare before Carpet MartMy wife and I went carpet shopping for our house. The first location we stopped at was Carpet Mills. We decided to do business with them until the day the carpet was scheduled to be installed. We received a call informing us that the carpet that was supposed to be shipped in was lost. That’s right, lost! Red flags began to go up. Then, we were assured they would put a rush on reordering the carpet. About 10 day later, the installers finally showed up to install the carpet. Almost immediately, my husband noticed that it was damaged. Needless to say, the carpet was not installed. We contacted the manager and explained what happened, and to our dismay, she replied, “That kind of thing only happens once in a blue moon,” and that she would get back to us regarding our situation. We never heard back from her, (there’s a surprise), so we called and cancelled our order. Unfortunately, the manager called to late to apologize but was very polite and did not fight our refund. We then went to another carpet outlet, Carpet Exchange, and communicated to the personnel what we had just experienced. It wasn’t long before we realized we were, once again, dealing with incompetent sales people who did not care about providing excellent customer service, but rather, only concerned about the all mighty dollar. We waited for several weeks just to get a price for the carpet. We requested a breakdown but was only given the total cost, which was absurd. Fortunately for us, while we were waiting to hear from Carpet Exchange regarding a price for the carpet, we took action and found Gary at Carpet Mills. The rest is history.

After a disappointing experience elsewhere, Gary made things right. Although this mistakes made were not his, he was very accommodating to our concerns. Not only was the job done right, in a great amount of time, his pricing was much better than any place we had already looked. Great quality, prices, and top notch service.
