Good qualities in oils and essential oils. Fast delivery compare to most. The only thing I wish would be discount on delivery cause it gets expensive. Other then that, I’m 100% happy with their service.

I have been shopping with Bulk Apothecary for the last 5 years. This company is awesome, great quality, fast shipping and prices are great. There is one item I use a lot and they recently have been out of stock in the gallon size, but they have smaller sizes. I had to use another heavy cream body butter base from another vendor and it is not as good as Bulk Apothecarys. I rally hope you stock up on the gallon-sized body butter base! I see a difference in the products I make with yours and the other one. I just recently ordered some essential oils and I want to try Irish Moss from here but it is not in stock!

Really nice scented oils. I bought 4 different scents; the Sandalwood Vanilla is amazing. I will definitely be purchasing the oils again. They come in a decent size and the aroma lasts quite awhile.

Love Bulk Apothecary, they have quality products, great customer service, and quick processing and shipping standards. The only reason that I gave a 4 stars is because I recently purchased their Green Tea fragrance oil and it doesn’t smell like Green Tea but more like a strong perfume. Although it smells like a very nice perfume, it was not the smell I was expecting. With that said, I would recommend purchasing from Bulk Apothecary as other products have been top notch!

This is my first experience with Bulk Apothecary and I am very new to the world of Essential Oils. All of my order was delivered and packaged very well in professional containers. The 16 oz volumes of the essential oil I ordered were in metal canisters with leak proof seals that can be resealed for later use and the 2 oz bottles were glass and were wrapped and protected from breakage during shipment. I also received a copy of each item in my order to verify everything was shipped and received as ordered. Since making this order, I have searched many sites and I am glad I came across Bulk Apothecary. My first order, but this company does it right and provides a quality product.

I intentionally ordered something they had in stock but not in the quantity I wanted. The pop up said out of stock will notify when available. So I click the button to check them out to see what the process would be. A few days later the notification came that the item was now available so I ordered it shipped by ground the cheapest way possible. Got an confirmation email the same day that the order was place. Afterwards I realized my mistake and sent a message to the company. I ordered an item that was delivered to me damaged. Clearly, the packaging was terrible for two heavy glass jars. I submitted my complaint and the requested photo of the damaged item. I did quickly receive a replacement (that was incidentally packed much better) but no apologies or acknowledgement of how badly the jars were packaged the first time. As far as I was concerned our business was complete.A few days later I received a letter from the USPS that this company had submitted a claim for a damaged item on my behalf. I made no such claim with the USPS, and this is not right. They are trying to make up for the loss with this practice. The letter specifically says your claim may be denied if I fail to provide more photos and packaging of damaged items. ??? I have never experienced this before with any other company.When I called them to discuss this, they were belligerent and a supervisor consistently spoke over me while trying to get me off of the phone. I was finally abruptly told the claim would be cancelled. I also called the USPS to verify this situation. The agent I spoke to at USPS said the fact they used my name when submitting the claim was a problem. Shady company. And finally, the claim is only for $4 and some cents.

Terrible customer service. Completely made up ship dates. When I asked for delivery after I was told it shipped, I was told to contact UPS for a delivery date. UPS stated they didnt show any record of the order being picked up. This is after I was provide two different ship dates. Order from someone else.

There are many factors wrong with the Argan oil. Plastic bottles is the first most crucial issue because it deteriorates the natural ingredients. It needs to be in glass.The second issue i have noticed was manufactured in the USA. Argan oil is not supposed to be manufactured. It is a product of Morocco...Third issue is there is no Argan scent. No scent means no use.

I would love to give this company 5 stars. Their prices are great and products work for me. However stock is a HUGE issue. When adding items to my cart I try to purchase and boom items that were listed in stock are magically out of stock by checkout. First time it was a particular soap. I thought no biggie deal this is one event, then the same thing happened with lye, next it was two other fragrances of soap, now today I was emailed when an item was back in stock. Started putting my order together(37 items if you don’t use in 24 hours your cart will be deleted!!! Need to copy Amazon so I can add what I want and purchase when I feel like!) and the conditioner I was emailed about not even 6 hours ago was yet again hour of stock. I called with frustration of needing to restock for my store and was told the item was sold out from back orders. I ask to place a back order. She claims there are no back orders you must enter email to be notified… I raise more issue for her so I get put on hold. 5 minutes later the story is the product is under quarantine, it is an in house made product and it’s in testing! Testing or quarantine or sold out to back order. i not getting the item your email just made me waste me time!

This is the first time ordering from Bulk Apothecary. I ordered 16 oz of Vitamin C online and plan to use it to work on the dark spots on my face. I have not had opportunity yet to use it but am looking forward to starting. It arrived soon after ordering (within a couple days) in a foil package with a nice, professional looking label showing the ingredient list and bar code. After opening I will keep it fresh by sealing it in a plastic jar I have, as there were no instructions on how to best keep it. That is the only reason for reducing my stars by one. I received my first order from BA a few days ago and immediately had to contact them about random debris in a few bags of dried herbs, I just got told it came from a third world country and that was it, very dismissive.. Everything that came thoroughly labeled appears to be decent quality, but I havent had a chance to use it all so I can only speak for its appearance. Biggest issue was definitely the minimally labeled dried herbs that came from an unnamed third world country, you could at least put WHERE it came from.

I have used Bulk Apothecary about three times this year. I’ve ordered everything from essential oils and carrier oils, butters, to beeswax. In a previous order, I ordered regular yellow beeswax. It had a sweet, earthy honey fragrance and a pale yellow color. I was very pleased. Most recently, I decided to buy the organic yellow beeswax. I was very disappointed. It was brown and not yellow and has an unpleasant aroma. I called customer service and was told that if I wasn’t happy with it, I could send it back but I’d have to pay for shipping. I asked if someone could explain why the color was off and the fragrance was bad. I was told to email documents@bulkapothecary, which I did. The person responded by saying that they heard some of the organic beeswax came in with an unusual smell, but the owners had it tested and there was “nothing to be concerned about.” This is not good enough. Still no one has answered my question about WHY the color and smell are different. One of their competitors has a note on their beeswax saying that their beeswax has a slight smokey aroma from smoking the bees. At least they warn their customers before they pay. And BTW, this aroma isn’t “smokey;” it’s just bad. I’m disappointed that there was nothing mentioned by Bulk Apothecary about the appearance and smell of this beeswax. If they didn’t want to put it on the website, they could have included a note in the shipment and a copy of the testing they had done to show good faith. I’m definitely sending this back. I told them I would wait for their response before I wrote my review. They had every opportunity to make this right, but I am not satisfied.

I Love Bulk Apothecary!! All of their products are top of the line, They are shipped with care and very quickly. They have organic products which I love!. I place several orders from them and I am very very happy with my results!! I love them and can not say enough !! Once you try their products you will not shop anywhere else!! Thank me later!!!

They sent the wrong order, couldnt process it in a timely manner because their processing team went home early, and could not expedite it as it would cost them the difference... I just wanted my bulk oil in the timeframe I ordered it lol.I was super disappointed with Abby and Wonda, their supervisors attitude when I went about resolving the issue. Poor response time, poor customer service and overall disappointed with my experience with bulk apothecary.UPDATE...They never checked to see if they had the oil to begin with and Im left without 300$+ or the oil they had listed and in stock on their website....this place is a joke

I ordered soaps and bath bombs. I gave them 3 stars because I was disappointed in how the soap loaves I ordered came. On the website, the pictures of the soaps are gorgeous, the colors are very defined, bright, and swirly, especially the Glacial Stream, Cool Water, Cotton Fields Scrub, Wild Passion, etc. In the loaves I recieved, the colors were all very muted and there was barely any definition. The Glacial Stream pictured on the site was a gorgeous mix of teal, pink, and purple. The one I received was just a dark blue. The Cotton Fields scrub photo is mostly pink with some green and purple swirled in. The one I was sent was mostly cream and green with a small swirl of pink that looked like a G on a very small portion of the loaf. Even the Asian tea blossom loaf, the online picture looks like bright pink almost polka dots, but the one I got is cream with some dull pink mixed in different places. They do have a disclaimer that the colors and swirls may vary due to it being a handmade product, which I understand, but I expected them to still look of similar quality to the ones pictured. The ones on the site look as though they were done by a professional who is very experienced, and the ones I recieved do not. If it was just one I would think maybe the soap maker was just having an off day, but for almost all of the soaps to be this way, it seems their advertising is misleading. I ordered these to add to my booth at a vendor show because of the pictures on the site. However, due to the way they looked, I do not think I would order the soap loaves again.I also ordered boxes of bath bombs. Those smell nice and do look like the photos online.
