I do not like going to the eye doctor because I do not like things near my eyes, but the experience from checking in to seeing Dr. Wright was calm and easy going. Everyone was so nice! Dr. Wright was very thorough through my visit and made it calming. Thank you Dr. Wright and team! Y’all are great and I will definitely be coming back :)

The staff was professional and fast and fun. They laughed at my jokes in a way that seemed genuine and not like my wife 🤣.The doctor was wonderful and has a wonderful sense of calm and friendly. He found the sweet spot in my vision with ease. He answered all my questions.Overall it was like getting having your eye appointment with a group of old friends.

Front office staff was pleasant and proficient. Dr. Wright as always was professional, polite, and thorough. I always appreciate him explaining what he finds during the exam. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and see no reason to change that.

It was clean, and physically distant! I felt extremely well taken care of by everyone on the team. My doctor even interpreted a minimal comment I made about eye comfort and contacts into making a slight adjustment in my prescription which has made a world of difference for me! Im having issues with glasses & contacts due to complications & side effects of cancer treatment. I was diagnosed in 2018 with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I also now suffer from lymphoedema & as well as other side effects which have left me agitated to say the least. Ive never had issues with prescriptions from you before but this past January, after getting my eye exam & died for glasses & contacts, i began to have issues within a month. But you came in and saved the day. Furthermore, you did everything possible so i would pay as little as possible since i waited way after the 60 day warranty for eye exams. Since i would have to pay out of pocket, your staff made sure i had every discount available & even game me a discount that doesnt really exist just to help out. Thanks guys, yall are awesome.

Place was efficient, clean, staff was great. Everything was made easy online. Dr. Nelson was great, kind and thorough. I would definitely recommend this place. Only thing I would change was they sent 3 confirmation texts, 3 or 4 confirmation emails and 1 call. A little over kill there but all in all a good experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I booked quickly online through their website, which was super easy and I always appreciate being able to do that. Was able to get in fast, I felt great about the precautions they took for Covid, the nice man working at the front desk who also did my tests was personable, professional and thorough as was my Dr. who conducted my exam. I was already sold on this being my go-to place in spite of it being almost an hour drive but today they further exceeded my expectations. My mom has been having some eye problems and needed an exam. Since I’d just had such a great experience there, I decided to call and see if it sounded like something they could help with so I could book an appt. The girl who answered the phone was so sweet and helpful and listened to my concerns then kindly reached out to another staff member. The administrator got on the phone and coached me through several options we had on care, one of which was even an OTC medicine we could try and potentially take care of it ourselves which would mean as a result they wouldn’t even profit off her visiting the office. If that didn’t work, they asked me to please reach out again and they’d absolutely get her in to take care of her. This was just so above and beyond and rare. A lot of offices would do opposite and get her in to be able to charge her, whether it was necessary or helpful or not. I’ve never had an exchange with more integrity or genuine compassion and care than what I had today. A really long-winded way to say I just couldn’t recommend them more lol.

The only reason Im giving this review 2 stars is because the Doctors are awesome!However, the Admin. staff are Horrible!!! after 3 years of being patients here, my husband and I have decided to go somewhere else, the drive and the hassle they give us to schedule or even just obtain basic information is definitely not worth it. Our experience was not the greatest with them, time and time again- We have spoken to managers before about this unprofessional behavior & clearly nothing has been done.I called yesterday to get info. on lasik eye surgery, the lady who answered the phone was not able to give me any info. but she stated she would have her manager or one of the doctors give me a call to go over the steps with me, i never received a call. I called again this morning, the guy that answered was just plain out condescending, so i said, you know what, its no trouble- I will just take my money somewhere else, I will no longer waste my time, energy, or money at this place if this is how they treat their patients.

Baweja was super knowledgeable and helpful with me and my contacts issues. I was in and out in a little less than an hour, which is always important and rare for any doctor office. When I left, the young woman with glasses and a braid (I dont know her name unfortunately) offered to email me all of the information I need to send in a rebate for my contacts so it could be an easy experience to send in the rebate. Ive been going to this place for about 5 years now. Theyre efficient, they have ammendities such as coffee and water while you wait for your doctor. Once youve been established as a patient there is little paperwork to do. The reason I love it is because Im a hairstylist and the only day I have off is Sunday. Its super convenient not to take time off for another Dr appt.During this visit I had Homer do my initial examination, which included the eye puff, which Im terribly afraid of. He did it with w finesse and i could believe it was over in seconds. Ive seen Dr. Nelson 3x but I had my 2nd experience w Dr. Wright. Ive absolutely loved his timeliness, expertise and bed side manner. He takes care of his patients and clearly is experienced in the field. He is very personable which surprised me for a doctor. Im glad to have Barton Creek Eyecare as my main go to.

Extremely friendly and helpful. I was apprehensive about having to get glasses for the first time, and the staff here made the process much easier for me. The optometrist was friendly and explained what was going on with my vision in terms I could understand . I would reccomend them to anyone.

I feel completely disrespected, Dr. Baweja did not listen to me. She appeared to be annoyed during my entire exam. I felt like I was putting her out just by being present. She adjusted my prescription way down to a power I haven’t been in in years. When I told her this wasn’t going to work she blew me off a said this was my prescription and I was just going to have to adjust. Let me tell you I am a nurse Practitioner and I would never treat my patients with this type of lack of respect and caring. This exam maybe took her a total of 15 minutes and cost me $280. What a ripoff. I stepped out of their office for 5 minutes returned to say I could not see with this contact prescription and was told, SORRY we’re full. You’ll have to come later. Well I can’t see, later doesn’t work well for me.

Dr. Wright was very easy going and I could tell he truly cared about finding the right contacts for me. I love the clean atmosphere and the quick and efficient service! Hopefully, I can request him when it’s time for my check up next year!

Every step of the process was very modern, efficient and professional, especially since they had my records from my previous visit. I especially appreciate the retina imaging machine that eliminates the need for wearing dark glasses and having blurred vision for hours after the exam.

Came in as a walk in with an issue with my right eye and the staff and Dr. Nelson were able to squeeze me in to their busy day and accommodate me. Will definitely come back for my annual eye exam!

I scheduled my appointment on the website and got a confirmation message. Apparently, this doesnt mean youre confirmed. I did not have a link or button to confirm the confirmation (because that makes sense)Never got a confirmation email. Left work early to get over here and the staff was rude to me and told me it was my fault their system didnt work.I will not attempt again. Ill just go somewhere else that doesnt treat customers rudely because their system failed. Its not my fault your web site has not been updated since 1998. There is no excuse for that pathetic web site in 2016. I will tell others not to go here and deal with the rude staff as well.

No wait time on my last appointment. They have the option to get eyes dilated or do digital image scan based on what you want to spend. I did the digital image. Quick friendly service. Was able to ask and have all my questions answered. Did not feel rushed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Soltyss since I moved to Austin 11 years ago. Back then, he had one office in a small space attached to Barton Creek Square Mall. He has since built a successful optometry practice that spans four separate locations. Although his practice has grown, the service I receive remains excellent. I would recommend him to anyone.

It was a prompt and complete exam. Everyone in the office was helpful and efficient, also kind.

Dr Wright is practical and takes the time to explain the science behind different symptoms.

The practice is deceptive with insurance policies and prescription costs. First, the lady working at the front desk was rude and incompetent. I called to make my appointment and to confirm that my insurance was accepted; I provided all the information prior to the appointment. When I arrived, she informed me that the insurance department couldnt find my policy and they were too busy to let me know despite me being the only patient there and her obviously knowing about it before I arrived. At that point, I couldnt even cancel the appointment so I just had to pay the steep cost. My insurance information is available on my husbands work computer or through his work VPN, so we couldnt access it there to prove they had made a mistake. It was truly disgusting customer service, and she was even poorly behaved enough to argue with me when I politely requested that she contact customers about issues before its too late. Her attitude was appalling, frankly, and its the first impression customers get of the practice, which leads me to believe the management is also questionable in regards to unethical financial practices. My second financial issue is that I requested a 30-day supply of daily contacts and instead I received just a 30-count supply, so its twice as expensive as we discussed. I dont mind paying for what I use, but I mind being intentionally misinformed. Its disrespectful.I gave it a two star because the medical assistant was good and the doctor was nice. The administrative staff ruined the experience and I would never go there again. I advise you to avoid it, too.

Excellent customer service when i went. More tha. One person asked if i needed anything, water, coffee, or even popcorn. They are friendly and listened to what i needed for my vision to be better and options on contact lenses. They even would price match the contacts if i found them at a diffeent place.

The Dr. Soltys and his team of doctors are experienced and the staff professional. They can usually get in to be seen on short notice. I wouldnt trust my eyes to anyone else.
