It was my first time going to this location, the wait was 40 minutes, the doctor who did the exam answered my questions but never told me that she would prescribe bifocal lenses, I have never used that type of glasses, the person who helped me with The frames had a bad attitude, she was the one who let me know that they had prescribed bifocal lenses, but she did not explain anything until I began to ask and rushed me, I asked her why bifocal lenses and she only told me that the prescription was like that, He told me that if I did not want the line in the lenses, I could make them progressive and I had no choice but to accept and I had to pay $ 100 more.During my visit there was a misunderstanding and the next day I called to try to fix it, Doctor Amin, owner of the clinic, contacted me and offered me several options and solved the problem, she was very kind, I was totally satisfied and grateful, definitely the Better customer service from the doctor, that tells me that she really cares about her patients, I will definitely return to this clinic.

Ive been going to this location for over 25 years and I really like the people who work there. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the automatic system notification is continuous even after you have had and scheduled your appointment which is very annoying.

My son and I got back to back appointments and I really like the doctors at this clinic. I usually see Dr. Opal Amin but today I met with the owner, Dr Clark and he was great also. Very warm, friendly, intelligent and really patient with my son. He took the time to explain the tests and how they worked and go over the results with me. The rest of the staff was fine also. A very positive experience.

This location is my go to place..The Eye Doctors really care about your vision and the ladies/gentlemans up in the front are super friendly and extremely helpful in meeting your needs. Today me and my husband were seen and they took their time and were extremely patient with us..a special shout out to Maria up in the front desk, Stephanie who helped me pick out my Eyewear and Jessica who helped my husband get exactly what he wanted..thank you ladies ..we were extremely pleased with your awesome service!!!!

Great, friendly staff. However, I had a long wait time even with appointment. I waited an hour even with an existing appointment, and I was simply getting new glasses, I didn’t even need to see a doctor or get a new prescription.

Came here to buy glasses frames. They have a great selection including designer brands such as Prada, Gucci, D&G and Oakley that are rare in other stores. Workers are extremely helpful and very kind. Great experience!

The three times that I called to order my contacts from them, they were having WiFi issues. And all those times they stated that they were going to call back but never did. Three weeks later I called, they put me on hold and we’re very little help. It would’ve been a lot easier to order them from somewhere else if I had to wait for soo long, for something as simple as ordering my contacts to happen. People who answered the phone were nice, but really nothing was done until this last call.

The doctors knowledge and professionalism is always excellent, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. However, on my last visit I was left waiting 35 minutes just to place a contact lense order after I was done with my appointment. I could hear the staff talking and laughing in the adjacent room as I remained ignored. Needless to say, there was a temporary lapse in customer service.

Dr. Amin is very thoughtful,thourgh, and very professional. All the workers were friendly and deligent.

First time coming to this office. And Ill for sure will be coming back again! Receptionist where very sweet and professional. The preliminary exam was harmless even with both of my girls the patience the young lady had was perfection. The doctor was amazing and made sure all my questions were answered. Then the part I was mostly afraid of picking out glasses for my girls as they are very needy. Got helped by Ms.Jessica who was by far the best help a mom could have she helped my oldest pick out the perfect clear frame as she described it and my little one got the bubble gum pink color she looked for!Thank you ladies @ tso it was an amazing first visit!

Our experience with TSO from the time I scheduled the appointments to the time we walked out was seamless. The front office staff is attentive and professional, Dr. Clark is the best and ladies that help fit your new glasses are soooo patient. They were still following COVID 19 protocols which allowed me to feel comfortable as well. I’ve been a customer for close to 20 years and always leave satisfied with my experience.

I had what I thought was an eye emergency. TSO fit me in quickly and took care of my problem with a thorough examination, diagnosis, and even provided sample eye drops to help relieve my pain. Entire staff was professional and kind. Highly recommend.

From the moment I walked in the door and checked in, my expectations were blown away. The Optometrist was very thorough and was great at explaining things as he did his exam. Mandy was super at explaining the various options that were available to me. She was great in explaining each of the options and made me feel very comfortable with my decisions. TSO has always had amazing customer service! My daughter has been a patient there for 5 years and we’ve never had any issues. Today a sweet lady named Debbie, went above and beyond to help my daughter, understand the importance of “blue lenses” in glasses, & how they protect her eyes, from all of the screen time that we take in these days. My daughter took it all in, and found the glasses of her dreams. While Debbie patiently waited for us to discuss some issues, she worked out all of the price options, with and without insurance coverage for me. I’m a single mom, so it’s just really nice to have someone go above and beyond, when they don’t have to but do anyway. 5 stars for TSO, and a raise for Debbie please!!!!

My family had an appointment ( not me ) and they worked with me and SQUEEZED me in to do the appointments with them. Friendly staff and service and got done in an hour for 4 people. Great time

My daughter accidentally made her appointment in Pflugerville. She dropped me off for my appt, went to her eye dr appt in Pflugerville, bought her glasses and came to pick me up and I still hadn’t been seen yet. I had bought my favorite Gucci glasses at this place and needed to buy a new pair but was too frustrated to wait any longer. Fantastic selection of high end frames, maybe get your prescription somewhere else and come back, but I will never come back.

Eye exam went well. But the part I was most pleased with was being helped by Debbie. She was really nice and helpful and took her time to make sure I was getting the most out of my insurance policy.

I really love this place. The staff are great and selection is awesome. I highly recommend going gere. Price are very affordable.

The front desk ladies are rude. They sit there talking to each other and when the phone rings they pick it up and say “please hold” and continue their conversation complaining about having to do stuff that “the back should do”. Now i understand why when I would call to make my appointment the wait time was crazy long. My appointment was at 11:30 I wasn’t seen till almost an hour later. The dr took about 5 minutes and out to the hallway I went again to wait. The lady who helped me pick glasses was very nice. Overall I hate going and need to find another location that accepts my insurance.

Safe, Spotless, yet Serene. Is how I would describe my experience with TSO, Austin, TX., Capital Plaza location. I walked up to the door and someone greeted me and verified my appointment before giving me admittance. Once in, I noticed a seemingly regular business office and eyeglass gallery setting, only no hustle and bustle. The whole establishment is one big area with private examination rooms. The open area was no where near as overcrowded as it has been in the past. Everything was clean, everyone was in appropriate masks and all was peaceful. The optometric assistant was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The optometrist put you at ease instantly and gave a very thorough examination. After the examination I visited with the optician and choose new frames for myself. She was very helpful and seemed to really enjoy her job. I noticed that while viewing frames, any that you touched were to be put on the underlying countertop so they could be sanitized before being placed back on the display. I found that very reassuring where my safety was conserned. I would have to say this was the most enjoyable eye examination I have ever experienced. If I could rate them any higher I would.

Ive been getting my exams and glasses from TSO for several years. In early May 2020, I came in to purchase lens for bifocals and pair to be my readers, though used for computer (which was stated). One staff that greeted me at the door was extremely rude through her tone, I had to tell her not to talk to me that way. At that time lady who wrote out my request and the gentleman (office manager) were aware of her tone and attempt to make my visit pleasant. Upon returning to pick up glasses, I didnt appreciate them being handed to me at the door, I insisted I come in in the event of any adjustments; that seem to annoy the staff. The next day for work, I discovered my readers were not right; I had to sit literally 1ft close to my monitor screen in order to see. I was later informed by the lens tech that my readers were for looking down - like at a book, though I distinctively stated they were to be used for the computer. I felt this was intentionally done due to my day one visit with the rude staff/greeter. My $900 purchase of x2 pair of lenses were detrimental to my ability to see, to not be done correctly the first time. I will not return to TSO. I will take this loss.

Victoria is absolutely amazing! She so personable and treats us like family. 3 members of my family wear contacts and glasses which can get expensive and she helps me with recommendations that give us the best quality and most cost effective. She is the reason why we continue to come to this location. She knows our names as soon as we walk through the door which makes us feel so grateful.

I love this place! All the doctors and staff are friendly and caring. I have been coming here for years and I would not pick any other place for my son or I to receive eye care and they have the most stylish and affordable Eyewear!

The staff at this TSO have shown me time and again that they are caring, professional and take their work to heart. My last visit I was actually 9 minutes after the 1pm closing time on Saturday (did not read online carefully!), but they opened back up to see if they could help. My son’s glasses had an arm broken off and he has some unique needs- so being without glasses was an extra challenge he doesn’t need added! They quickly found something the lenses would fit into to get him through until we could come in for our next visit. I was really impressed with their kindness- they could have easily told me to come back in business hours and been right to do so! She even gave me a hug as she could see this mom’s relief for her kid- it just doesn’t get better! I will gladly drive across Austin traffic to continue being a family cared for at this location. They have a great selection, superb staff and a heart. Thank you TSO!

Poor customer service. I waited one hour before inquiring about the status of my appointment. I was never properly checked in. The waiting room was crowded. Office Manager was rude. He and another staff member kept taking steps toward me as I tried to maintain a safe distance until I was backed into the glasses display case. He addressed me loudly also. I felt extremely disrespected as a customer. I have gone to this TSO for decades. I was asked to reschedule my appointment as my prior authorization could not be found. I decided to leave after all this experience and do not plan to return. Dr. Amin is excellent. Unfortunately the customer service didnt match her service closely that day.

I called to make an appointment & they wouldn’t even try to help . She said we don’t accept most insurances and I asked well did it change ( since I’ve been going to this location for years ) & she just made an excuse to not schedule me at all . Alteast try to help out . I wasn’t being rude or anything and she just hung up .

Our appointments where at a late time so it’s was not supper busy. Check in was quick and friendly. Providers explained there exams and changes to eye sight. Medical assistants where great in helping pic out some frames. We appreciate great service.

UPDATE: This issue was resolved. The office manager called us and handled the situation properly. We were able to book an appointment for my daughter and place the order for her contacts. I truly appreciate that he took the time to call us, listed to us and offer a solution. Thank you!!!!I love the doctors at this office, but not the front desk. They dont make clear their policies, Made me you drive all the way there to tell me they had to do my daughters eye exam all over again since it had been more than 3 months since she got fitted for contacts. Its ridiculous wanting patients to pay AGAIN for the same exam they did 3 months ago. Again they couldve told me this over the phone but they are always too too busy to be courteous. They offered no flexibility since their office was closed due to covid, how was I supposed to bring my daughter in? im going somewhere else.

My eye doctor was friendly and thorough, and he explained everything so well to me. Victoria was friendly and helpful over the phone and in person, and Evelyn made sure that I got the most benefits from my insurance plan. This was the best eye visit by far. I would recommend TSO to anyone looking for eye care.

Horrible service all together. If I could gave this place 0 stars I would. The eye exam was very rushed and it seemed like the doctor didn’t want to be there. Then when I called about a question I had the lady answer they phone and immediately put me on hold for hour which was okay because I know they are helping other customers. But the fact that she answered the phone extremely rude. No I would never go back to this place again and I would never recommend this place to any family or friends.

Terrible service from scheduling an exam, going through the exam, choosing our glasses, and when picking them up.I felt like my daughter and I were being watched while choosing our glasses, name brand glasses locked up, guess they were being stolen.Was my daughter and I being judged?!?!?Manager of this location needs to figure out how the employees can give a better customer experience.And some employees were rude....Will not return to this location!!

This is everything you would want in a Chinese food delivery service! You can go to the site and easily navigate through your entire order with ease. On top of that the food is great and on time! I cant say enough about this place. I definitely recommend!

Very friendly staff. My frames were slightly askew and loose enough that they tended to slip down my nose. I received a professional frame adjustment and a warm smile. Although my previous experience was an exam and prescription fromTSO on Riverside, TSO Capital Plaza extended their friendly service.

I love TSO. Have been going for years. Dr. Clark is brilliant. Twice over the past 10 years, I tried another clinic with dire results both times: faulty Rx, lenses reversed and good deal advertised that ended up costing me almost half again as much! Im sticking with TSO.

Ive always gone to TSO for glasses, exams, contacts, etc. The professionalism and expertise is truly unparalleled. But, I didnt know they also did eye MEDICAL procedures. Something was stuck between my eyelid and eye, and was remarkably painful. TSO worked me in that morning, and took care of the issue immediately. These guys are the best!

The lady who answered the phone was very rude! I called to get confirmation on glasses and she was not trying to help at all. She gave short answers and had an attitude. The service was good with doctor but whoever answers the phone was rude!

Safety procedures due to COVID were socially and physically acceptable. Only patients with an appt are allowed in, no walk ins. Staff and doctors were very courtesy and accommodating.

I had no appointment but called them and they took me immediately. I was seen within 5 minutes and given Optimal Care! turns out I have pretty good eyesight too!! This place is top-notch and I cannot believe how quickly I was seen: had a complete eye exam: chose the glasses I wanted and out the door!! all in less than 90 minutes!! Thank you lovely staff!!

Took my daughter for her eye exam and to get some contacts for her. They didn’t inform her of the different options, ordered her the wrong contacts and won’t help in replacing them.

The set up for covid-19 CDC guidelines was respected include number of persons admitted was very limited to allow social distancing and was wearing include staff and patients thr equipment was sanitized before any touch you can smell the fresh desinfectant to give you peace of mind and staff very friendly and unddrstanding

The woman that helped me was not helpful at all she didn’t know how to talk to me she was rushing me didn’t know what she was doing wanted to charge me fees that didn’t even apply to me she didn’t believe me on what I was telling her about my frames that I had bought them there she really made me feel uncomfortable I ended up paying 340$ (just for lenses) due to the lady rushing me I always buy expensive designer glasses been going to TSO for years but this last time was awful really thinking of taking my business elsewhere they really need to check who they hire

I get my eyes checked here every year and have received great service. However the area where you buy the glasses is another story. I sat and waited for 45 minutes, while 1 person waited on a customer. Then she started waiting on someone after me so i asked if i needed to make an appt. She said no you have to check in at the front desk. There is no sign. She saw me sitting there. Good customer service would have asked if i needed help not just look over me and continue helping others. It was obvious i was there to purchase glasses not just sitting there because i had nothing else to do. Waste of my time.

I have been a patient at TSO since 2016 and I am very pleased with the partient service experience. Ana is very helpful, polite, and friendly. She helps me everytime my glasses are bent, broken, or crooked and I always leave a happy patient. I DEFINITELY recommend her if you need your glasses fixed!!!

The worst customer service Ive ever received. My appt was an hour after the scheduled time making me late to my next appt. The eye exam was the worst Ive ever had. Anyone could have performed the eye exam that was given to me. Horrible experience.
