Bought 4 25$ psn gift cards for Christmas presents went to see how much they had on it 3 worked 1 was invalid and very rude when taking the order

Very rude customer service two guys who think they own the place. if you want a positive experience try another GameStop location this one has really bad energy Noah and Michael who work there are really rude and not helpful at all they told me to bring a form of ID to purchase a game or do a trade so I drove all the way home, grabbed my passport came back and he said we dont accept that...😡 I waited in line literally for 15 minutes, theres two registers and Noah decided that he was going to go home when I approached the line and told his coworker Michael Im out here so I stood line for 15 minutes rather than him choosing to ring me up really quickly.

Went in to look for something specific. Found it on sale for $1.97 when I went to purchase it they said it wasnt in the system any longer. Hey dopes if it has a tag and its on the floor its for sale. Highly disappointed.

Not my favorite location. Peabody they are more friendly and helpful. I wont visit this store again. They never greeted me or asked if I needed help and there were only 3 customers in the store.

I am a regular customer here and love this place. I rarely go anywhere else for video games stuff. The staff is great and there are very few people I know who are knowledgable about video games as Dix. I know if I have any questions that are video game related Dix will have an answer. Management is great, staff is great. I couldnt give this place anything less than 5 stars. Keep up the great work guys.

Ganestop is an antiquated concept and is slowly getting phased out. It used to be a hangout where games were welcome. Now you feel like just a number. Its a shame game stores are going the way of the dodo

I live in Peabody, and the stores there are pretty small. I saw that this one was bigger, so I decided to check it out, looking for a specific amiibos.Unfortunately, I never got the chance to find out if they had them.The guy working there asked what I was looking for, and when I started replying, he started speaking to someone on the store phone about computers, in the middle of my sentence (it didnt ring, not sure if he made the call or if the ringer is silent, its possible that I didnt hear it?). And it wasnt like he didnt hear me, I was pretty close to the front desk, and I was the only customer in the store. I kept looking at the products, waiting for him to finish. When he was off the phone, I tried to tell him what I was looking for a second time, genuinely trying to be polite. Again, he cut me off before I finished my sentence, telling me the price of an item, but not for the one I was looking for.Now, I can deal with interruptions. But when you talk to me in a condescending voice thats oozing with attitude and righteousness, right after you ignored my answer to a question YOU asked, it will definitely piss me off.I left without saying a word or buying a product, although I did want to congratulate him for losing a loyal customer in less than 5 minutes.

Got my ps4 new at a really good price, and the game I wanted was in stock.I was able to go in again yesterday, and picked out 2 games I had been wanting for my new console. One was for the ps3. (thought it would be backwards compatible, it wasnt) But, Dixie the employee who was in shop got me a really good deal by suggesting the collection of games that they released (included 3 games) instead of just purchasing the one I had found.I ended up getting the game I had thought I was going to miss out on, and another I had forgotten they had made! And Im really excited to play them.Thank you so much! :)

Some of GameStops policies on returns are annoying but I can usually find a used game I want for a good deal. Some of the employees can be arrogant but are ultimately helpful in the end.

Its a great place but they really need more staff in that store

My issue was that a new person was hired and had no clue what he was doing. It literally took over a half hour to return a game. Ugh

Went there a month or so ago for a PlayStation 4. I wanted to buy a microphone separately from the system. The price on the microphone was 60.00$ which it had a 20$ price tag. I told the worker are you giving me it for the price it said and he refused. I work retail and If a price is wrong you should always sell it for the price that is said. I’m not very satisfied 👎👎👎

The north Beverly location is ok but I prefer to got to the Andover st one.

No star rating at all for this place! Superbly Rude Employee! Refused to help out my son and then he started yelling at my son! Would never go back to this place even though it is super close. Pls dont waste your time going to this place. This staff is Rude and Verbally abusive! No customers deserve to be treated this way! 😡👎

Called store on 3 separate occasions regarding a pre-order and got 3 different answers each time

I go to this GameStop specifically because the staff is so pleasant and informative.

It seems like GameStop is getting smaller with there game selectionsand when you call and ask if they have a game in stock till say yes you drive there and then they tell you they dont also theyre going way up on their prices on their game systems without bundles or any games that come with it.... What happened to the old GameStop?

Disgusting utterly disgusting the place smells horrible not to mention the service is extremely slow. All in all I will never go again and dont recommend this place to anyone.

Hello,So I walked into this GameStop to get a game real quick because I already knew what I wanted, the cashier was sitting in back and left the hole store unattended he made me wait at the counter for 10 min before he got up from the back room, when he finally ask what I wanted I told him the game and without asking me he tried selling me the used copy, I told him I wanted it new so he opens a cabinet to grab a new one, so I thought, he actually tried to sell me a copy of the game that was open and not sealed and charge me for a new game, I told him I wanted a new sealed version he told me this was the last new copy even though I just seen a cabinet full of new sealed versions. I dont know what kind of tricks and scams that GameStop tries to pull but if its not sealed in its original package its used, they should know that better than anyone. I would recommend going to a Walmart or bestbuy where u know ur not getting scammed into buying a used game.

Its Gamestop. You get what you expect. A crowded store, packed with as many games as they can fit on the shelves. Looks like theyre branching out a bit into some cell phone and hardware stuff. Nothing to write home about, but pleasant enough to come back if I need something.

Average gamestop with reasonable customer service.

I went with my friend and Batman: Arkham Knight was on display and I said I thought it came out on Tuesday, and the cashier said It is. We put it out so that people know its come out.Duh. When I left I said to my friend How would I know that Im 11 and theres like a hundred posters on the window and theres commercials and TV Spots on TV. He said He was nerdy and had a lot of acne. I said IKR. HATED IT. But one time I was gonna get Batman: Arkham Origins Collectors Edition and they didnt have so a different nice cashier gave the Pre-Order version (Deathstroke Challenge Pack) for $10- so it was $30. Thats the only good part I liked about this GameStop.

Unless you are a hard core gamer the staff dont seem that interested. Especially if you are looking for games for older consoles or handhelds.

Really rude people especially the ginger with the glasses, he was yelling at me and made customers feel like they were bothering them
