Paid $300 for them to fix a smashed iPhone, and they half way fixed it the first time. It wouldn’t stay on and the battery wasn’t genuine which was a big problem for me, so I took it back in. I called them a few minutes ago about the battery again, and the guy gets and attitude and tells me that the battery is a genuine battery. The phone says otherwise. Besides the guy I spoke to on the phone today everyone else was pretty pleasant.

I was recommended to try this place. No one likes to spend more money on an item that already costs you arm and leg. But if you do why not help out the small businesses. I went there Tuesday afternoon and the owner assisted me, seemed like a decent place nice gentleman and helpful enough. I needed my screen fixed and didnt want to leave overnight. He said come back tomorrow at 2pm and well get it done for you then. Went back yesterday, the owner was unavailable, first person was gonna charge me more than we agreed on. Spoke to another person got that figured out and gave him my phone so I could have it back in a few hours and they were going to call me on my landline. Hours go by no call, next morning no call, I go there explain the situation and they try to find phone. Was hard to understand I was there less than 20 hrs ago and they had not idea where it was. After a bit the owner comes to the front says he wasnt the one who took it, doesnt accept responsibility and hes the owner. Finally they find it and nothing has been done. I paid them almost $350.00 yesterday and its in the same shape when I left. Tell him Im truly disappointed, never received call, you couldnt find my phone, promise me service and do nothing. On Tuesday I asked him if his price was comparable to other businesses and he said yes and I decided to go with him rather that with who Verizon recommended. When I got in my car Tuesday I called the other place and it turns out they were $30 lower but I decided to give this business a shot. Im a very sorry I did.

They replaced my ipad battery. Battery was ordered and it was replaced within 3 days. Their price was the lowest compared with their competitors. Would recommend.

I took my computer to CPR, I was told they will get the part and fix it by Tuesday. I went there on Tuesday I was told they were still working on it and to come back on Wednesday. I told them I couldn’t But will pick it up on Friday. When I got there Friday evening the girl at the front desk behaved she didn’t know there was a customer, took her time to finish counting her money in her purse then said hi. When I asked if I could pick up my computer she couldn’t find it and I had to wait for 15 minutes. When she came out, she said it needed to be opened to be worked on, i then demanded to take my computer back. When she Came out with my computer nothing was done, the screen wasn’t fixed as was agreed upon.This was a total waste of my time, staff were very unprofessional and incompetent.

I needed help putting my cell protector. The guy that helped me was really kind and efficient. My cell looks great!

Ive used CPR in Bolingbrook 3 times to fix devices. Each time they have been responsive, honest and provided service at a fair price. Most recently my cell phone crashed and I was unable to transfer anything to my new phone. The technician (I did not catch her name) was professional and able to quickly diagnose the problem. Neil, the manager, went above and beyond staying 40 minutes after the store closed to make sure everything was working.

I took my girlfriends phone there due to a crack screen and without realizing a cracked back. They repaired what we asked and brought the other damage to our attention. A couple days later we had issues with the new screen but it wasn’t their fault. They worked with us and put the old screen back on so we could just get a new phone without having another charge.Mike did great and repaired it the first time in under three hours and the replaced the new screen to the broken screen in just under 90 minutes. I feel bad that they worked this hard and didn’t get anything for it but I will say if I need anything else done I will go them for any work needed!Highly recommend for customer service

Awful shop. Rude employees. Actually broke my phone twice and didnt seal it after therepair was done resulting in a water damaged phone. Do not go here for anything. Youve been warned.

My laptop screen was cracked and I was looking for a reasonably priced replacement. I researched the parts price ahead of time and then got an estimate from the folks at CPR Cell Phone Repair. Their quote was close to mine and was fair.I advised them I needed a quick turnaround and they gave me a timeframe that met my needs. The replacement screen was installed and they called me to pick it up, advising me that the replacement screen they installed had some issues but gave me the option of picking it up while they secured a replacement screen. They called when the replacement came in and installed the screen quickly.Thats a long winded explanation for the following statements.They provided a reasonable quote and timeline.They respected my desire to get it back even though it wasnt a perfect repair and, without me discovering it on my own, ordered the replacement part.Bottom line - great customer service at a very fair price. Quick. Same day fix, though we waited until the next morning to pickup the device. It was very cheap due to asking a staff member if there was anyway to get a discount he referred me to groupon and wallah about 50$/50% off. Great location, not greedy and overall seemed very knowledgeable. Would/Will use again!

Kept insisting that my product wasn’t an official Zagg product even though the box says Zagg and showed them Zagg’s website that they sell the product. The guy kept arguing with me and I just left and dealt directly with Zagg. They were extremely rude

My phone repair took longer than expected because the part needed was delayed by the winter storms. They apologized and offered me a loaner phone till mine was fixed. Everyone was super helpful, polite and professional. Five stars!

I wanted to get screen replaced for Moto G7 plus been to couple of phone repairs all said they need to place order for screen then wait for one week for screen to come, once the screen arrives then they can fix approximately around a weeks time.When I Contacted CPR they said they had the screen with them I walked in they checked in the phone got it repaired in 2 hours and I had to pay after the phone was fixed.For something which could take around a week was done in 2 hours.

Screen issues fixed my phone fast and back into my hands. My payment was prepaid by my phone insurance.

Short on time and driving an hour away from Dekalb, this place was awesome! They offered to not only drive to a different location to get the piece I needed for my phone but also did it in a timely manner considering how far I had to drive. Quality was never sacrificed. Phone is 2 years old and looks and feels brand new. Highly recommend this location 👍

I am writing this review as while they did a great job fixing my screen, the experience not so good.I emailed I thought, the Bolingbrook location,to get a quote & timeframe for fixing my Motorola Z4 cracked screen. The response back was 189.00 with 2 hours to fix. I made an appointment for 1 pm and was confirmed back via email.I got there at 1 pm and Zee helped me and checked me in. He took down our number to call when ready. We drove from Aurora (30 minutes) and went to lunch and waited the 2 hours quoted.We came back and Zee said it isnt ready. I said I got an email for 2 hours. He was very non caring just saying its only me & one other here. I didnt send u that email. Really? I said well somebody did!! He said thats Corporate. I dont care who did, they advised 2 hours.So now maybe 5:30 pm. My son & I have now been waiting for 4 1/2 hours as its not that close to just go home.We drove back to building and its 5:35 pm. I walked in and Abe was at counter. Nicer young man than first encounter. I explained how long Ive been waiting. He said phone in back and was done. Thank God!To find out that it is the owner sending out these emails with quotes. I thought I was dealing directly with that store. VERY frustrating to wait 4 1/2 hours vs 2 hours.PLEASE do not quote a customer if that is not how its going to go down!!! No Stars. I was told on the phone that my part was in stock, when I went in they didnt have it. They were going to order it with an expected delivery of 3 days. After waiting a week, I checked and it turned out they never ordered it. I cannot recommend this shop for anything.

Thought my cell phones glass was cracked. After the tech inspected it, it was just the protective glass cover that was cracked. The tech removed the cracked cover and cleaned the phone. Asked if I wanted him to install a new cover, to which I said yes. The whole process took all of 15 minutes, and I am extremely satisfied. Thanks.

Oh both young man I hat the pleasure to work with were Exceptionally wonderful over the phone and in person. So far they did a great job.

I took my I-phone 6S in for repair to the Bolingbrook location. Battery was dead. The technician Robert was able to diagnose just a loose cable and fixed the phone free of charge. I would highly recommend this company and Bolingbrook location.

Cell screen just shut off with no warning. Could not get it restarted. This was the nearest repair place. Owner quoted possible repair/battery costs but did a quick check and got it to start up. He is very knowledgable and helpful. No charge for what he did. Will DEFINITELY get my business if anything goes wrong with my phone.

Visited the Cell Phone Repair store on several occasions, years apart, usually related to my T-Mobile devices, as its just a few doors away from the T-Mobile store.This place has always been able to help where T-Mobile could not. Very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy! And a great attitude!They also sell all sorts of electronics related products, and at a good price too.Highly recommend!!!

I paid $160 to have my screen fixed and they gave it back with the display malfunctioning (showing the wrong colors and tones) and I was getting alerts from my phone that it was unable to verify that it was a genuine apple display

I am very pleased with the service I received! I brought in my iPad mini with a shattered screen...Robert was very helpful and able to answer all my questions. It only took a couple hours to fix and a third of the cost that Apple was going to charge me! Will definitely use their services again!

My wife needed a new battery in her iPhone. We walked in the store on a Sunday and they had the new battery installed in less than 2 hours. We had no appointment and they were very busy. They took care of us quickly and did a great job for a very reasonable price.

Was told maybe the part they fixed was defective and they would get another one but my phone wouldnt charge anymore so when in runs out of power it would be useless. Gave them my wifes phone number to call to let me know when part came in.NEVER received a call ! I wouldnt ever go back.

Such great service!!! I had the screen and display on my husbands Galaxy S5 fixed. I dropped it off expecting for it to take at least until the end of the day if not the next for the phone to be repaired. But, just like I was told, the phone was ready for me to pick up in just over 2 hours!!!!!!! I am going to let everyone know that this is the place to go for quick and reasonably priced repairs!!!

Not very helpful. Guy was upfront about prices RE: water damage, did quick test to show no power was getting to the device. Surprised as motorola auth. service center. Was hoping for a more thorough asaessment.

Overall, it was a good experience and the PC repair was successful. Gunnar is an outstanding technician. However, when I made a phone call to check status of the repair, the person answering the call whose name I do not know was as rude and as uniformed as could be possible. The phone call ended without an answer to a very simple inquiry about when to expect the ordered part to arrive. The person went on endlessly to explain how “people at this place just do not communicate”. The call turned into his venting of how dissatisfied he was with the internal communications. I ended the call and decided to call back at another time. Not once did he as for my receipt number or order bummer or my name. Quite strange, actually.

So my daughter when she was 2 broke my (her iPad Air 2) but for some reason i never did anything with it. Last nite I found it in my room decided to get it fixed it try at least as it looked like a dog chewed a piece of it off. Didn’t think much could or would be able to be done. Well cpr repair proved me wrong! Works perfectly looks even better! AMAZING job guys much appreciated and the price was about 80-100 bucks cheaper than anybody else i had called prior to cpr.. Called right before closing on Sunday for price quote, price seemed reasonable compared to others I called. (My LG G3 screen was cracked/digitzer was kaput on part of screen). Went in Monday morning, they honored the price they quoted the night before on the phone. Seemed like very professional staff from the time I walked into the store. Dropped the phone off, was told 1 hr 30 min turn around, got a call about 1 hr 15 min after I dropped the phone off that my phone was fixed and available for pick up. Overall was pretty happy with the service. Would recommend to someone else.

Said my phone was next in line to be fixed for 4 days. Took $50 for diagnostics. After 4 days of calling if my phone was ready they told me it was ready for pickup. Showed up and they handed me my phone back unfixed saying they couldnt figure it out!

What a horrible experience we had at this store. They do not honor the groupons that they offer. They claim the fine print, stops them from honoring them. The front staff, is rude condescending and completely unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store at all costs.

My power button issue was fixed in two and a half days with no data loss (contrary to LGs own repair department.)The only hiccup was the time promised it would be fixed, but they had issues with bad parts. Its only a minor knock, since Id rather they do it right than do it quick.I would gladly come here again.

Horrible customer service, the owner appears to hate his job and gives all of his customers attitude. I brought my computer in for a diagnosis and he charged me 45$ to basically tell me, “I don’t know what is wrong with it”. Don’t go here, he will rip you off and probably will not find a solution to whatever electronic issue you are having.

Have used them several times...Most recent was today...my grandaughter in a panic because her phone was cracked and had all those lines running thru it...would not work...went in close to closing time and the kind gentleman fixed it right away...did not have to wait and come back. A spiteful incident at work left a friend with a very shattered screen on her phone. In an attempt to help, I ordered a screen and tried replacing it myself - lets say I have a newfound appreciation for all repair outlets! Dont attempt the DIY (I didnt even have the right screen). Super thankful for CPR as they not only didnt treat me like a fool for having attempted the repair, the gentleman was able to replace the screen and LCD as we waited at a price that makes any home attempt worth skipping. Though I hope not to need to return, would in an instant and strongly recommend this place!

The people were nice i guess. when i brought in my phone it was broken they changed the parents that were broken and all. i come home and realize the camera quality got worse on my iphone 7. i went back to the shop and they changed it then i come home and try using flash it is still bad quality. unfortunately i dropped it and it cracked because the screen they changed is worse material and i did not like it. i went in to the shop again and i thoght the warrant would cover it because the camera was trash quality but apparently not. i went in to get my phone without knowing i’d have to pay. i take my phone and i was about to leave but the worker stops me and says “it’s 100$” and i’m like what i never knew i had to pay they never told me before when i came in the shop and gave my phone. so i paid 100$ and now my puppy that weighs 7 lbs steped on my phone and it cracked.

Fast and perfect.

My laptop went black and its motherboard was replaced. The unit was also cleaned up cosmetically--good work.Everything works well now, exept that the original power problem may have caused some hidden damage.Power management with the Li-ion battery is faulty. CPR accepted the unit for further examination with no questions asked. So far, I am very pleased with CPRs service. Maybe the batterys internal circuit is mis-reporting?More after I again pick up my laptop.Regards, Ralph M

Very ignorant staff and very cheap quality!! Me and my husband both replaced our glass on our iPhone 6+ and spent $300 and it lasted about three weeks before cracking from setting it down due to low quality cheap thin glass. Very disappointed and very poor customer service!!! Absolutely do not recommend wasting your money!!!

Great customer service. I called about my Galaxay S6 Edge not charging anymore via the micro usb port. Samsung would not fix it said a broken port is physical damage and not covered. CPR quoted me a price and when I went in they took it in back to look at it then came back out minutes later and everything was fixed. Turns out there was a build up of pocket fuzz around the port and all that was needed was a can of air! Thanks for saving me a bunch of money and getting my phone working again. I hope I dont have any new issues with my phone but if I do, I know where to get it fixed! Thanks again!
