The people were friendly. That’s where the good ends unfortunately. My husband and I tried this place and found that while their equipment seems great, the exam was zipped through faster than ever before, and left us feeling unsure/uneasy. Then they just handed (literally) my husband a pair of contacts and charged him for a fitting ($140) saying “ give these a try”. My glasses seemed rather expensive compared to previous pair elsewhere.When I was called to pick my glasses up, I entered their front door and tripped. Looking back to see why, a dog toy was at the threshold. Then the toy owner jumped on me!! Really?! I love animals, but I have a bad knee (so not good) and this was highly unprofessional.

Really disappointing experience.First, the business will accept my veteran’s insurance for an eye exam, but they won’t accept my veteran’s insurance for glasses, because the VA is too complicated for them to deal with in that regard. So had I even completed the appointment, I’d still have to go to a second business to order glasses at all.Second, they have little respect for privacy. Their intake questionnaire is unnecessarily invasive of irrelevant information, and the eye doctor was unwilling to examine me unless I answered questions regarding my mental health, and several other irrelevant topics. I explained I wasn’t interested in divulging my private information, and eventually decided to leave before finishing the appointment.

I had an excellent experience here! I decided to try Eye Gallery at their new location, and its a really nice office! The staff was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and they are just really nice people. All of their equipment is really new, much better than any other eye doctor Ive been to. Their retinal imaging machine took an extra wide view of my retina and Dr. Wren was able to see a hole or something on the edge of my retina that none of the other eye doctors Ive been to caught. He let me know what to look out for in case it gets worse, and Im very thankful that he caught it. They had a really good selection of glasses and sunglasses, and they gave me a huge rebate on my contacts. I really cant say enough nice things about this optometrist. Im really impressed!

I had my 2nd annual eye exam visit with The Eye Gallery and both visits have been amazing! The staff are wonderful and super helpful. They’re willing to assist you in any way possible from beginning to end. If you have questions, they are there to help you and if you need assistance in picking out frames, they are certainly going to help you find the best frames possible until you find “the one.” Amazing staff! I went in for my first appointment in 5 years and all I can say is wow!! You might not expect it but this little glasses shop has all the new stuff to get your eyes checked out and good to go! Special shout out to the team of ladies who went above and beyond, even staying after hours, to make sure that I was taken care of! I will admit, Im quite charming but, so are the ladies! I had a great experience with Tracy, Stacy & Dr. G! I would return 10/10 times! :) Looking forward to picking up my new optics today!

Drs. Gurpreet and Jerry Lucas are very knowledgeable and spend time getting to know you and your eye health needs. Their staff is patient, supportive and kind. We worked with Nelly in choosing the right fit and style of eyeglasses and she was so patient and resourceful in getting us in the right glasses. Katie then followed up in ordering and processing the insurance claims. A truly professional Staff!

This is the best eye care I have received in a very long time! I was helped by Jessica and she was super nice and very helpful throughout my whole exam. Dr. Wren was informative and it amazed me that he carries his own line of frames at the office (which of course I bought a pair of). The staff took their time helping me pick the best pair of glasses and didnt mind at all with cleaning them even though I tried a ton out. And most of all they abided by the guidelines and were strict on cleanliness and safety. Thank you all so much!! I cant wait to pick up my glasses from a place that gave me excellent customer service!

We came here to get glasses. The first time the glasses came in their was a defect on the frames that had to be replaced. Then we waited a few weeks to get a frame that wasnt defective. Once we came in to pick up the new ones they didnt fit the glasses right and were to big. So we came in today to get them adjusted and left with the lens completely cracked and the glasses are not able to be seen out of. Apparently she heated the leans to hot and cracked the entire lens. Now we have to wait another 2 weeks for new lenses. Because thats all they offered after everything we went thru. Would not recommend this place at all....

The doctor was kind and knowledgeable, however the experience did not meet expectations. I called and made an appointment and asked the price. At the end of the appointment they informed me that they knew they quoted me one price, but I was going to receive a surcharge because I was a new patient. 4 or 5 stars to doctor, 1 to zero for the unethical business practices.

I’ll preface this by saying that this review is only for the business and front office employee who I interacted with. My doctor, Dr. Ozlem Alper-Ekin was kind and thorough.I made an appt online as a first-time patient for an eye exam. My insurance covers everything except for a $10 copay. I made sure to select “standard eye exam”. I went in and the assistant took measurements and did a few tests (didn’t really describe the tests, just said they were standard stuff) and then had me go into the exam room. Dr. Ozlem did a few more tests and then told me my eyes looked healthy and great.I went to pay and the front office woman told me my copay was $10 and the retinal imaging was $29. I was shocked and asked her what that was and why I would have that charge when I only asked for a standard eye exam. She said that due to Covid they no longer dilated eyes with drops and so they’d switched to this imaging machine (which I guess was used in one of the many tests they performed). I was pretty disappointed and told her I wish I’d been asked before they did that because I would’ve otherwise declined it. She said it was included in the confirmation email—which when I looked back, it was, but it was buried in a ton of text. Pretty much hidden. I’d also filled out 5-6 pages of paperwork online and never once did I see this new “change” in the eye exam that would cost me more.I’m sorry but if you’re going to change the way you do things and charge your patients an automatic $29 on top of their copay, you should make sure they’re fully aware. Highlight that text, make it clear, give them a chance to confirm. It felt so sneaky and fraud-like. It’s not about the $29–it’s about feeling duped into paying for something you didn’t ask for or felt you needed. The employee was apathetic the whole time and kept saying “Well I mean, it’s in the email” which blows my mind. What kind of customer experience are you hoping to give your patients/clients? She eventually went back to talk to the owner (I said I did not want to pay for this charge), came back 10-15 mins later (even though there was only 1 client in the entire place) and said “My boss said he’ll give you a 50% discount” WHAT?I honestly didn’t want to stay there a second longer. Terrible experience. Terrible service. Apathetic staff. And sneaky charges. Please be upfront with your customers and show some transparency. I’ll gladly pay $29+ for services, if I know I’m making the decision to. You had a new patient who was excited about her go-to ophthalmologist/glasses vendor, who wanted to spend her $250+ stipend. And instead I left your business frustrated and in search of a new place to buy my glasses. I even shared this sentiment with your staff, but she obviously couldn’t care less.*unsure why my previous review wasnt posted, so Ive added it again here*

Sadly, I read the reviews and saw the fraudulent and price gouging comments, and thought, this place cant be that bad - 1st red flag, 2nd red flag - they had several appointments readily available the next day.Made a routine exam appt for my healthy 80 yr old mother who just needed a prescription to order new glasses. I downloaded her United Healthcare Spectera Vision benefits, and knew exactly what would be covered. $0 copay for routine eye exam, $0 copay for single vision standard lenses. I called to make sure that they took her insurance, and that she would not be seeing the eye doctor for anything but ROUTINE eye exam for glasses. Exam covered 100% by benefits. Yes, yes, they stated. I stated that if we had concerns with her eye and wanted to be billed for a medical exam, Id have her see an Ophthalmologist.Although she had no issues nor complaints with her eyes when we went in, and after her exam, the doctor even stated VERY HEALTHY eyes for someone of her age, they decided they would make her pay $30 for the eye exam. Really??? The technician stated they had to bill Medicare first, since that was her primary insurance. I reiterated, Medicare is her only insurance its an advantage plan through United Healthcare. She has a $0 copay for routine eye exam though Spectera. Again the technician stated Medicare would be billed first and then they would charge $30 for the exam. As if I didnt know the difference in billing. I told her again, that would be true if we came in for a medical diagnosis for issues or complaints about her eyes. She then states her billing person said they had to bill Medicare for the exam then Spectera Vision insurance would cover the frames and lenses - that is how they have to bill. So I called United Healthcare while sitting in the office, United Healthcare then got Spectera on the phone. Yes, routine eye exam is free of charge, but if there was a medical diagnosis, then Eye Gallery could bill for a medical exam. While on speaker phone, Spectera agent asks the technician Was there a medical diagnosis? Guess what tech says, Yes, we saw the lens in her eyes from a previous cataract surgery, she had cataracts, so it was a medical diagnosis. Really, my mother had surgery 2 years ago, she has no complaints, no issues with her current eye condition, just needed an exam for a new pair glasses. How can you diagnosis something we already knew about? Cataracts had been removed, lens in eyes are fine, no issues medically. Tech changes her story to the Spectera vision agent and states we are labeling this exam as a medical diagnosis exam and not routine because we knew she had cataracts removed and she had previous surgery 2 years ago. Funny thats not what she told me when I questioned the $30 exam charge. It was first stated as Medicare would be billed first. I totally get it, medical eye exam pays more than routine eye exams. More money for the practice....After hanging up with United Healthcare and Spectera, I asked what would her single vision LINED bifocal lens cost? Tech quotes an outrageous amount of over $250, using the charge for a BLENDED bifocaL, when my mother was ordering a LINED bifocal. After hearing lies upon lies, and having them assume that we had no idea how insurance worked, and that LINED means BLENED, we decided wed give them the measly $30 and the mandatory $29 for the retinal imaging scan, and get the heck out of there.It is not so much the $30 dollars that is the issue, its the billing fraud and assuming patients are too dumb to understand that you are taking advantage of the them for me.

What you need to know is this establishment is very overpriced. Just the exam for contact lenses for my 17 year old son was 354 dollars!!!! I was told this is a normal fee for everyone??? Trust me you can get the same care at Target or Walmart or Visionworks etc., for way less. My children and I have been seen at Eye Gallery many times over the years when it was located in the Flat Irons mall. This new off site location feels different and the optical assistants are not as friendly and helpful as I remember in the past, actually somewhat rude. I recently have been a customer at Visionworks but they could not get my son in to be seen for almost a month. I decided to try Eye Gallery again as it had been a couple years since I used their services. They have an interesting detailed receipt with all sorts of various charges that add up to a big ol ripoff! Long story short, I ended up having to pay 415 dollars for my sons eye exam and a years supply of contact lenses. That was WITH insurance mind you. They also let him pick out a pair of discontinued sunglasses from their wall as a promotion, if you bought a years worth of contacts, but still! I could have easily walked out of other establishments with no insurance and payed less than 415 dollars. I was going to bring my daughter there next, and I am due for an exam but I have decided to seek care elsewhere as this place is cost prohibitive. Highway Robbery! None of the fees were reviewed ahead of time .

I normally dread eye appointments and doctors visits, but after my first time here, I’m definitely coming back without hesitation. Tracy was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I felt totally comfortable with my exam and my new lenses and glasses. Tracy made my visit first class. I would definitely recommend this place and this will be my go-to place in the future.

Look, no place is going to be absolutely perfect, however that said I have never had a problem that couldn’t be resolved by the staff at Colorado Eye Gallery. We’ve been going to this location for over 10 years. From a annual visit that goes as planned to stolen or broken frames or a sudden change in prescription someone has always been ready to help us through resolving the issue as best as possible.

I didnt even know I had vision insurance until they spent time looking for me. I wasnt even a patient yet. There glasses are really awesome and they have ones that Ive never seen before. Great customer service! I had broken my frameless computer glasses (needed for work). Reached out to Eye Gallery to see if they could repair them. They responded immediately & said they probably could. Stopped by their location that day & they had them fixed within an hour! Awesome. Rather than have me wait for the part ... they took the part off of their new inventory to get mine fixed right away. Very honest staff. They did the repair at no charge! Im always hesitant to try new eye drs but with the change of vision insurance I was pushed to do just that. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of each employee that I encountered.They took time to tell me about each eye test / machine and help me pick out new frames when my eyes were dilated....[Ill be anxious to see what I picked out].I would recommend the Eye Gallery to everyone! Not to mention they were very efficient but I never felt rushed!

My family has been going to the Eye Gallery in Flatirons Mall for at least 10 years. We have checked out the other eyewear stores and their deals, but in the end its the service and standing behind their products that keeps us going back to the Eye Gallery. Every person I deal with there is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The manager Heather continues to impress me with her thoughtful care for my & my sons eyewear. I cant say enough to warn people away from this establishment, its incompetent optometrist, and its fraudulent billing practices. Both my son & I are diabetic, but regularly visit an ophthalmologist for our retina health, choosing to visit this store for new eyewear, with an appointment - since I had existing, very premium, IC!Berlin frames, purchased there the year before, and my sons acetate frames (also purchased there) had recently broken. We overheard the optometrist instruct the staff to bill our primary health insurance, rather than or our eye plan, since this was a specialist visit; & the admission form did have a laminated card he handed the staff advising us that this would be the case. This optometrist came to retrieve my 10-yr-old son first, & told us he would need to be dilated, as would I. I politely declined, as I was driving, and my son had been dilated & examined by an ophthalmologist several months earlier. He rapidly became very irate: dont you trust me?!, and nearly refused to conduct the eye exam for either us. Well, frames dont just break. What did you do to them, drop them?I now know (since the staff discussed this in loud whispers) that his objection was due to the specialist physician rate that he had hoped to submit to our primary insurance. He was very mean to my son during the 5-minute exam, and told me my own decades-old astigmatism had mysteriously disappeared. I now know that the prescription he issued was grossly wrong for both that condition, as well as for my visual correction. We left the store much chagrined, & the store staff further discussed our billing amongst themselves, agreeing that they would not bill for a specialist visit, though he still requested them to do so - then required me to sign a waiver for my lens replacements, since my own titanium frames were no longer under warranty, and the store no longer had a contract with IC!Berlin. (?)Picking up these frames after 11 days with new - though incorrect prescription - lenses, I reached the mall parking lot just as the right lens dropped from my broken (and badly glued together) frames. Ive since had them welded together & lenses replaced, the prescription for both myself and my son corrected (by an ophthalmologist), and new lenses and new frames purchased from another merchant.If I encounter this optometrist again, I plan to punctuate this review with a direct, -1 star rating to his beady left orbit. If he sees this review, my chart cant be hard to find (hmu, Sport).Avoid this place for your eye care, and shop somewhere else for your eye wear.

Heather and the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. My exam was thorough and Dr. Gurpreet Deol-Lucas adjusted my current prescription and was spot on. That was the customer service side and to top it off there selection of frames and lenses is spectacular. I’m a huge Oakley honk and they accommodated me very well. INCREDIBLE customer service! I bought sunglasses here so long ago that I cant remember when. I took them back yesterday - broken - and they fixed them right then and there! They took the time to fix them, clean them, and fit them for me - again! They look brand new! Everyone had smiles other faces and were happy to help. Yes, the people vary a bit. Some are helpful, some are bored and over it....I get it. Its in the mall. I can say that my experience is better than at Vison Works in the mall, they are definitely more easy going here. The best part about this place are the glasses I get the coolest hipest frames here. I always have people asking me where I got my glasses. We also brought our teenage son to get his first contacts here and the lady Dr. was awesome and super patient with him. She coached him until he finally got them in and out of his eyes. He wears them all the time now.

I was recommended this place by my insurance company. When I got here the doctor apparently wasnt there although he / she was supposed to be in. I was recommended to take a look on the frames instead. Which sense does it make if I cant get my eyes examined? Wasted my time and didnt notice any great selection in the store. Definitely need to take off the words doctor & gallery out of their name. Staff seemed to be be bored. I wish I would go to a different place from the very beginning.

This places sucks bad. I went in there because my dad went there to get some prrescriptioj sunglasses & they got it done right the first time. So when I go in, I go get an eye exam for contacts & get some trials for awhile until my contacts come in. Well Ive been back & forth about 4 times now because they cant get my prescription right. Its so irritating. Right now I cant see out of my left eye at all. Its completely blurry. Ive been in trials for about 4-5 months without getting any of my year subscription. They are horrible. Im about to go ask for them to fix it again. & at that, I dont live close to it. Its a 35 minute drive for me. Which makes it more irritating.

The service while we were in the store was great! But then the ball got dropped once the sale was made. There were delays with my prescription, which was understandable, as its a high prescription. However, there was no communication on their end. We had to keep calling for updates, and really werent given anything. After a week past their due date, I spoke to a girl who looked into it and was actually helpful (I wish I had asked for her name.) They ended up not being ready until almost a week past that, while I was across the country. It was just super inconvenient to deal with them. Thankfully on the same day I bought these, I had placed a rush order on Zennioptical for a backup pair of my new PD,

I went here last year for an eye exam and new glasses. The front of house staff wasnt too bad. The optometrist seemed completely disinterested in providing me with an exam, and seemed frustrated when we had trouble determining my prescription (my eyes had some strange focusing issues). He wasnt the only one frustrated ;-).I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your eye care needs.

Horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE. This place will take you for every penny they can get. I had went there for three years plus...the prices for my daughter and my contacts were getting so expensive this year I did the exam with them which I called and verified was $79. They charged the insurance double that amount plus a bunch of other fees for services not even provided. We decided to shop around for the contacts themselves. Finding they are half the prices at several other providers. At one of the providers he was going to need my daughters perscription for glasses. I guess the privacy act is not something the eye galley has ever heard of. They released personal and financial information he was not even asking for. He was a ex employee of the eye gallery....he was happy to warn me that the inaccurate insurance claims and taking the customer for every penny possible is a regular practice there. He said the dr wife shows up in sweats and goes over every bills adding charges. Please shop around and avoid this place at all costs...truelly at all COSTS. Over charging at least you would think she would have money for better clothes :/. Oh the positive reviews are fake mostly employees.

Always love my experience at the Eye Gallery! The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable, up on the latest trends (plus they carry great, highly sought after brands!), and eyeglass technology. I tried the Enchroma lenses and could not believe the difference; I also have Blue Blocking lenses which I purchased after Kyra suggested them, and they have helped me immensely in nearly eliminating my headaches from eye strain due to looking at a screen all day. Kudos to the staff - will never go anywhere else for my eyewear needs!

My experience at this optometrist was absolutely wonderful!!! Robert Savich, one of their opticians, was not only extremely helpful, resourceful, and kind, he was very empathetic to the original conundrum that brought me into this gallery in the first place. Prior to coming to Eye Gallery, Doctors of Optometry, I purchased a pair of designer glasses frames from another Optometry store; unfortunately this experience was not good. When I explained my predicament to Robert he not only helped me find a far better fitting and much more comfortable pair of glasses, he helped me find a frame that my lenses could be cut into and were nearly identical to my previously purchased frame. I was so ecstatic that I wouldnt have to re-order lenses and that I managed to find the same look but even better than I was originally going for!! To top it of, Robert even managed to find the very same plastic lenses that originally came in my previously purchased frames. The Eye Gallery has found a very special Optician named Robert Savich; I truly hope they keep as an integral member of the team for years to come. He genuinely loves his profession and went above and beyond his job to not only make me confident in my glasses, but also provide a feasible solution to my very uncomfortable situation.

Horrible customer service! I have been a customer here for years - have bought 2 super-expensive glasses and a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. They are really nice and helpful when you are buying a new pair of glasses, but god forbid, you have a problem with those...they take every opportunity to nickel and dime you! And their customer service sucks when you go in with a problem! My last pair of glasses were a Swissflex. Ever since I bought them, I have had issues (every 6 months, the nose bridge or the sides break off) and every time I would go there, they would charge $70 to fix. No warranty whatsoever (they never stand behind their product) and they are slow and aloof (it takes multiple calls and followups to get them to even provide an update on the repair). I wont be going back anytime soon!

Ive seen Dr. Jerry Lucas for many years because he is an excellent eye docor. He listens to my concerns and recommends the best options for my vision. My eyes have astigmatism. Other optometrists fit me in contact lenses that did not give me good vision. He fit me in toric soft contacts that give me excellent sight! Now I have comfortable contacts that give me 20/20 vision! Also I bought glasses that are clear all the time. This way, I can give my eyes a break from contacts and see great. Eye Gallery has an awsome sellection of cool frames to select from. The opticians are great at helping find the best fit and style that meet my needs. I highly recommend Dr. Lucas and the Eye Gallery!

I dont recommend this shop to any body.I have ordered 2 sunglass 3 months ago and they took from me 400$ and they told me its take from 7 to 10 days and I have called them during the last 3 month 6 times and every time I call them they told me just wait for one week.Most of the employees there are non professional students they lost my order after one month from the day that I orderd the two sunglasses then they called me saying give your order a gain. Now and after 3 months I dont have ether the 400$ nor my sunglasses.

I told the staff I needed glasses asap as I didnt have a back up pair, was told a couple days to get my lenses in before I picked out frames. After choosing frames I was upgraded $60 without being asked if I was interested in the upgrade. Then after I paid half my bill, I was told about a week to receive my glasses, which turned into a week and a half. If you want smoke blown up your ass by employees who lie to your face to get your business, go to the Eye Gallery!👍I personally will NEVER give them my business again.
