We had a poor experience with the frames assistant. I would not recommend. After the response that they would look into it, I have heard NOTHING. Their care and concern was apparently just a rouse. Salne argued with us the whole time we were there. Sean the manager heard and did not do anything, he was to busy playing on his phone it looked like. Salne told our son he was not Asian enough for round glasses. She argued with each pair of glasses that he offered an opinion on. It was exhausting and childish.
Sean Kite is the worst representative I have ever dealt with at an optometrist office. I have called twice and emailed four times over the last two weeks trying to get my contacts prescription and it still has not been sent to me. I have to reccomend that you stay away from this office and their rampant negligence.
Was great experience. The Doctor was extremely professional. Large selection of frames. I like the variety of equipment used in adding my details for a prescription.
Sean at this location insists that there is no charge for retinal imaging. My insurance charges $39 for retinal imaging. Thanks to the internet I could verify this after he lied to me and before my exam. I asked again and he insisted I wouldn’t pay anything for retinal screening. I walked out. Called me back to say there is absolutely no charge. Insurance charges $39. Still swears it’s no charge. Even after he asked me to sign a waiver saying there was a $39 charge. Filing complaint with state. I heard him pull this on 3 other patients after me
Would never go back to this location. Sean, doesn’t seem to really care about his customers, or for that matter, his job. Went in to get an adjustment because this location is slower, and you don’t have to wait to wait days for an appointment. Had already had them adjusted at a previous location, but couldn’t get in right away, and they were giving me a headache. I was prepared to use your policy, if you aren’t happy with your glasses policy. He barely gave me the time of day, and certainly didn’t want to take the time to make good on your policy. Kept telling me he couldn’t see any red spots around my nose, so just get used to it. Finally did adjust them, grudgingly. I have found out he’s the General Manager. Not sure why a company would put up with his management style. Love my regular location. I’d give it a 10.
Extremely professional and helpful. Due to Covid everything was cleaned. The Dr made me feel welcomed. A very pleasant experience.
My mom and I went in to get sunglasses. The moment we entered the store, we were told that “because I have low vision, I would need a prescription for polarized lenses??” This was in flatirons mall. So we went to Macy’s and I happily bought a $200 pair of RayBan’s, with polarized lenses, without a prescription. The guy who “greeted” us at vision works was a condescending jerk, and asked my mom if “she had ever been to a doctors office.” Well, they lost a sale, and I would never recommend Vision Works to anyone.
DO NOT go to this Visionworks!I started what I now know as the long and extensive process of getting glasses from this location on July 14th! I am just going to pick up the second pair of my glasses on October 15!! 3 MONTHS OF WAITING FOR GLASSES.They gave me the wrong prescription on both pairs of my glasses the first time I came to pick them up, so I knew the wait was already going to be longer. But they decided to drag the entire process out by asking to correct ONE pair at a time. So they could “make sure it was right”. Imagine not knowing how to do your job right the first time, and then being scared that you might not be able to do it right AGAIN.Not only was this entire 3 MONTH process wasteful of my time and my gas, (it’s a 40 minute drive here for me), the customer service was AWFUL. Every single time without fail when I called to ensure a pick up time for my glasses or to set up an appointment to fix their mistakes, a man named Sean answered the phone and seemed irritated that he even had to be there. From being snarky and short on the phone to just being flat out rude when asking clarifying questions.Ex: what time do you have available for me to come pick up glasses? And I was only met with “Well it doesn’t matter when you come”Then....why was asked what time I would be coming? Why do I have to give you a time if “it doesn’t matter”?Overall I will NEVER EVER return to this location and advise that you don’t either! The Visionworks in Westminster, CO off of Sheridan is a MUCH nicer, friendlier, and well organized establishment. Should have just waited until they had available appointments, I probably still would have gotten my glasses sooner 🤦🏻♀️
Had a great connection with Serena. She let me take my time to look for glasses. Not to mention she gave me the absolute lowest price with my insurance and gave me a lot of options. I love that in this experience, I did not feel forced to buy anything. They truly want to help here!!
I appreciated the efforts to provide a safe customer experience during the COVID pandemic. Including clean/used pens holders, the wiping down of exam chair, air purifier in exam room, and knowing the sample frames were being cleaned between customers trying them on. An improvement would certainly be to manage customer expectations regarding time one would be in the store when getting an exam and ordering glasses. Two hours is twice as long as I expected. I arrived on time and waited a half hour to see the Dr. After the exam at least another 30 minute wait until I could order the selected frames and pay for the services provided. Furthermore did not appreciate the immediate upsell to coated lenses for my child’s glasses before even discussing my needs as a customer. It left me feeling as though I was seen as only a dollar sign and my needs were secondary to the stores revenue that day. Definitely felt very transactional and impersonal relative to past experience at optometrist.
Dr. Walsh was exceptional and truly listened to my concerns and needs. I felt very well cared for.
Was my first time to purchase glasses and Im so pleased with the experience I received! The staff was very friendly and handled everything in a professional manner. The doctor I saw was very impressive, kind, and informative. She pointed out things in the photos they took of my eyes and went to great depths to get my needed prescription perfect! Greatly exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this store to fulfill your vision needs! I myself will be a repeat customer!
Im only giving four out of five stars because I felt rushed by the FOH staff, and I felt a bit misled on the price of my visit and contacts in combination with my insurance. But Dr. Marsh is fantastic and answered my questions thoroughly, even explaining what how some of the machines work/what exactly they do. She took great care of me, and didnt rush through my exam and contacts fitting.I had broken my glasses and was able to get an appointment in two days, and I didnt feel pressured to get both glasses AND contacts like most places. I appreciate how clean the office was, and their sanitary practices during this time. Overall a great experience with just a few minor issues - but Dr. Marsh was so great that I truly feel I got my moneys worth from the exam and care given to me.
12/26/2020: Worst experience to get non-prescription sunglasses via VSP insurance(had Lasik). They know the rules and tried to get more money by selling me the lenses. They said I cannot buy non-prescription sunglasses without eye exam and also without paying $53 to cover the cost of lenses after waiting 2 hours to buy them. And I showed them my benefit online (vsp account) then they processed it without the lenses cost. Cheap store with cheap tricks.Worst Visionworks branch at Flatirons Crossing Mall, Colorado
I had broken frames from 3 yr old purchase. Staff technician tried repair and then gave me new frame with understanding that I would be back for 2 for 1 purchase September. Awesome experience.
How about going over pricing before throwing your customers with charges that were not discussed or mentioned. Exam itself went smooth and was solid.
Eye evaluation was good, however the glasses were not fitted properly and fell off my face when bending over
The staff was super friendly and helped me get the best deals with my insurance. Dr. Marsh is super pleasant and informative.
I came in late evening for an exam. I watched as the doctor and a few other employees left for the end of the day leaving Brandon, the associate who helped me, the only employee at the store during a busy hour. Despite helping multiple customers and answering phones he was still able to provide excellent service. I needed to replace my lenses due to some scratches and he not only helped me but went above and beyond by calling in another store to have them send in their same model frame to the manufacturer to put the new lenses in to so we could switch the lenses in to my frame when they arrived- if this sounds confusing he basically fixed my lens issue while allowing me to keep my pair throughout the process up until the new lenses arrived which saved me big time (I’m blind as a bat without my glasses)! Props to the Dr. and Team at Visionworks in the mall for an excellent experience! I will be returning next year.
She is very nice She take the time to To the patients in it I like it the way she treats me thank you so much
This is one of the best Visonworks locations. My husband had an appointment set up for the next day on a weekend with no fuss. On top of it, I took him in and decided that I wanted to get my eyes checked too and they squeezed me in with no complaints. The doctor was nice, the salespeople were nice. Shout out to Charlie. He was absolutely amazing. He was funny and very personable. Thank you all for making it so easy to keep my eyes healthy!
The incredible staff answered all my questions with my insurance and cost options. Theyre friendly and personable and so so helpful. Ive been coming here since I was a little kid and will continue to
This was my first visit to the Flatirons Crossing Vision works store. The covid 19 practices of the store and the mall in general were exemplary. The staff were courteous and efficent,Especially Selena, who assisted me.Personally I found the inventory ofEyewear superior to other local businesses and I have not yet gottenMy new glasses but Im confident thatI got a great value on frames Im quiteexcited about !!
I thought they did well, spent time, explained and were thorough.
I’ve tried to go and pick up my contacts I ordered on 4 different occasions and still haven’t received them. Every time I come in to pick them up they tell me I need to see a doctor for a follow up before I can have them, “it should only take 5 minutes” they say. And every single time a doctor is conveniently not there. Now the “trial” lenses I have are now over two months old. And every contact wearer knows that’s not healthy for your eyes. Extremely annoyed and disappointed in the lack of communication and customer service.
The examination that I had was very thorough and the people in the store were very kind and helpful.
Dr. Walsh is great. Full disclosure, I was an employee at this location, I am also a patient and I honestly cant see myself going anywhere else. She is kind and knowledgeable, but also down to earth and humble. I already recommend her to everyone I know.
Had an appointment but they walk past you to see walk-ins ahead of you. Doctor is great. Front of house not so much
Great selections, great staff, Wonderfull service.
Everyone I worked with at this location were truly so nice! The eye doctor made me feel right at home, one of the best eye experiences I’ve ever had
I had a terrible experience here on 2/21. Walked in, saw that the two associates were busy helping 2 other people so browsed at the glasses for about 10 minutes. No big deal. Got tired of browsing at glasses so I sat down waiting to be helped for another 5 minutes. A lady walked in (I still hadn’t been greeted or even acknowledged by an employee at this point) and right as she walked in one of the associates greeted her and started assisting her as soon as she walked through the doors. Got up and left. Very disappointed because I have only ever gotten my eye care from this location and have spent hundreds of dollars here. Went down to LensCrafters and got way better service. Will never be returning.
Manager Sean took great care of me and my son. Made my day with special attention!
The DR was great and through. The staff dont pay attention to who is next. I sat there for 30 mins after my appointment and when they kept helping others that came in after me, I got up and left, didnt even pay my bill, obviously the money wasnt important to them.
I had a wonderful experience at Visionworks. Kim Ermi is the store manager and was extremely helpful. She was very professional and accommodating. I haven’t experienced customer service like that in years. Thank you Kim for your time and effort!
Safe practices clean equipment I felt safe
Dr. Walsh is thorough, peronable and takes the time to explain exam results. Both my wife and I are very happy to have Dr. Walsh working with us.
Dr is great! But the glasses service not so much; I’ve been told my glasses would arrive in a week so that would’ve been on 8/14/19 I called to check on them and was told they would arrive on 8/17/19 I called today 8/17/19 and now I’m being told that they would arrive on 8/19/19; really? This is horrible I need my glasses, first and probably last time!
Dr. Walsh and her staff were exceptionally friendly and patient. This was my first experience visiting an eye doctor and they were very helpful in clearly explaining everything and providing me several treatment options.
I was the last appointment of the day and the Doctor and staff were happy to answer every question and make sure I was happy with my exam, contacts and glasses. Would not hesitate to drive across town again for another appointment
Dr. Mara Walsh diagnosed a retinal condition that my ophthalmologist had missed for years. I owe her my eyesight - literally! She has always been professional though and courteous - and has earned my loyalty for life!
Dr Mara Walsh is the reason we go to the Vision Works in the Flatirons Mall even though we have VW closer to where we live. She has a gentle manner about her that puts you at ease. I feel like I am in good hands with her.If this were all about Dr Marsh, I’d give 5 stars however it’s only 4 because of my experience with the price matching. The process is to charge you their price and then refund you the difference of the price they are matching. It sounds straight forward enough but the two associates couldn’t figure our the math and it became a long drawn out affair! I still go to VW but I reject their offer to price match and just to the Rx to my favorite warehouse store.
This place is great! have gotten 5 pairs of glasses here over the years employees are always attentive and engaged, Ive never had an unreasonably long wait. good selection too.
Charlie helped me select some glasses and he was so wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend Dr. Walsh and Charlie for their professionalism and great customer service!
I honestly dont know why this place has such a bad rep. Ive been here a number of times and was always treated well. Dr. Walsh is a pleasant person and is easy to get along with. Also if people are pissed off about wait times, there is the awesome thing called a website that you can use to schedule an appointment.
Been going to this location for three years now. Simple and easy which is what you want out of your optometrist and their frames salespeople.
They have plans for healthfirst which was great and very convenient for me, ive never worn or had glasses before this. The doctor who checked up with me was friendly and paitent, and the people are welcoming and kind, I found a great pair of glasses with Maddie!
Do not listen to the negative reviews below. I scheduled an appointment a day ahead of time like a normal human being should, and was greeted with excellent and immediate service. I will be returning.
Flatiron Mall location is best. Doctor Walsh is approachable, professional & good humored. Always a pleasant experience😇.
Ive been sitting at a desk with my glasses picked out for 20 minutes. Multiple people have come in after me that are being helped first. The manager is standing around doing nothing except greeting people, despite the fact he assumedly knows how to ring someone up. A woman walked in after 10 minutes of me sitting at a desk waiting and is currently being rung up by an employee at the desk I am sitting at. Excuse me?
Waiting time after showing up ten min before my appointment was still about an hour, but everything else went smoothly. Friendly staff taking care of measurements for eyeglasses and paper work was done professionally.
Great selection of glasses and there kids under 12 deal is amazing but i had to wait two whole weeks to the day that they said would be no later then and still after that they called the day after
Really good customer service, both from the doctor and staff. Large selection of frames. The staff really know their specs- pun intended -oo-
Great and fast service, I broke my glasses and they where able get us new glasses that same day. Thanks alot Visionworks
Awesome bunch here, extremely helpful and very kind, especially Charlie and Emilio
Great service. I got the eye imaging and it was soooo cool.
Im totally pissed off. I called at 5:45 and she said yeah come and get your exam done by today I came all the way from Boulder!! Using lyft($25). When I came she said oh sorry I thought that we can do it for you but we cant you dont have an appointment!!!!!!!, I seriously owe you $50.
I did the vision exam in store and then I received a sunglasses that might destroy my vision if I continue wearing it. Also, people in store always seem nice, but not when a problem comes up.
Disgusting customer service. And I will never return to any location again. I went into this location and to see if there was an Optometrist on site that could answer a short question when availible. I wanted to ask a specialist because given the nature of my question there is no way a tyical associate could have answered it without medical training of some sort. When I asked this of the employee Sean, he literally laughed at me and said, Uh, not really. In short, he then preceeded to explain to me why asking if there was an Optometrist on site was a stupid question, and why they couldnt answer any question. He didnt even ask what my question was before saying this. This was in addition to his greeting being lethargic, and lacking in initiative. On top of those he was up-downing me in an incredibly rude manner during the enti re conversation. I may be young, but if this was my employee, I would not tolerate this behavior. Ive received better customer service from Walmart.
Horrible service waited an hour to be told i needed to wait longer, the dr isnt available. Why i wasnt told before i have no idea
We arrived at 6:45pm on a Friday evening. It took 1 hour to be seen.
Dont ever fall for the con of well try to squeeze you in. On two occasions Ive had to wait for an hour and still never got seen.
All the people are friendly and helpful
Worst experience ever !!! I paid almost $ 500 dollars for a cheap material glasses. !! They make me come back 5 time so the can “fix” them and at the end they told me that they supposed to look like that after a month !!! So I waited for them and I didnt even get all my money back. !!! Managers and employees have really bad costumer service. I would never recommend or come back to vision works. The worst experience I have ever had !! Pay almost $ 500 for very poor quality lenses. They made me come back 5 times in a month to fix them ”And in the end they told me that this was the polarized material !! Wait over a month and they didnt even return all the money I paid !! Managers as well as employees have poor customer service. I would never recommend or return to Vision Works!
