There were able to help out with a minor fix one time and went in for other insight on my bike. Helpful. But the last couple times I go the door is always closed and locked and they never answer when I knock. It’s past annoying at this point and I’m not calling them to tell them to open the door for me. I will walk the extra 10 minutes to Comrade for my business from now on.

So thrilled to find Pedal to the People!!!We needed both of our bikes fully tuned up after they lay dormant for several years, like the cicadas. Now they are fully in bloom and ready to ride! Adam was so awesome to stop by the day BEFORE our scheduled appointment, get our bikes, and return them the next day in ready to ride fashion! We just took our Gary Fischer and Schwinn bikes to Busse Woods today and they worked so well, just like new!

Super professional, quick, personable and thorough. I have an old Trek that I brought in for a tune up and a wobble when I ride. They found the issue quickly, explained everything to me thoroughly, and my bike was ready in a couple days!!

This shop is awesome, the owner really cares about your bike and the quality of work he puts into fixing it. When he fixes the bike, he also talks you through exactly what hes doing! People to the Pedal is a tight knit garage style shop, and I will continue to go here for future repairs!

Went there to fill air in my tires. They always do it for free. Also can disassemble a bike and box it in case someone has to move.Edit:My earlier rating was five star and I went back again to Pedal to The People. Moving out of Chicago so wanted my bike disassembled and boxed. They gave me an appointment for 3 weeks in advance since that was convenient for me. In between also got my bike assessed and tuned for $180 which I think was expensive but the work was done well. 2 days before getting my bike disassembled I go to them and am told it may not happen so would have to call a day before the appointment to confirm. I call in the morning and am told to wait for a call back. No call from PTTP. I call again later afternoon and they hang up, and stop picking my phone. Had to call from a different number and they picked up immediately telling me they never promised me they could unbox it! It was frustrating because had they told me before I would have contacted other places. The owners excuse apparently is that there is nobody else to help out and it has been extremely busy. There are other places in the same neighborhood with a better service and are also more affordable. Would recommend double checking with other spots before coming here.

Went for the first time in a few years, and man, they really built the place up inside! Full service bike mechanics that know their trade. I found them when they were doing mobile bike service with their pedal powered cart. Cool idea. Recently went back in because I needed a quick patch kit. Glad these guys are finding success!

These folks were so helpful and very responsible re COVID-19 concerns. The main door to the garage is locked, but you just knock they come to let people in one at a time so it doesnt get crowded. They took my damaged-beyond-repair bike and got me set up with an awesome second-hand bike which I thought was a great bargain at $150. Offered useful advice without talking down to me at all. Will definitely return for tune-ups in the future!

Adam is the best! I brought my 20 year old cruiser in for a tune up and she rides so well now. Also had to drop in because I thought I popped a tire and Adam fixed it super fast. So glad I found this awesome spot 🤙🏼

All around excellent bike shop. They were knowledgeable, extremely quick, and nice. Would highly recommend for any services you may need. They got me in and out lightning speed when I got a flat while biking near them.

The guy was initially helpful but at some point it seemed as if he just didnt want to service my bike. He started giving me all these outrageous random prices for parts and labor before telling me Ill be better off going somewhere else.

O.K. So my youngest daughter is living the single speed uber skinny tire bike fantasy.Needless to say she gets flats and blow outs.I have picked her up from a wide variety of locations and taken her injured bike to as many bike shops for a refresh on the tires.These guys have restored my faith in bike shops,they are quick and very accommodating.Also their location is great.I highly recommend that anyone needing work done should bring it there to get it right.

Walked my bike here with a flat rear tire. Was happily greeted by Adam the owner. Super courteous and nice dude. Changed my flat in a jiffy!The place is non-signed so youll miss it if youre not careful. Also call ahead, cause hes mobile and sometimes may not be there. Amazing service at good price and convenience!!! Super professional knowledgeable and honest business. I ordered one cyclocross bike from Amazon to build up, and we have another bike needed tune-up, they did perfect job! Easy to book online or call the shop, the technician showed up on time in front of our house, Steven is a true pro and serious cyclist, he built up my new bike and was even able to true up the wheel which was potentially damaged during the Amazon delivery service. And he had to bring back my seatpost to the shop to cut off a few inches to suit my figure. For the other bike we also needed a back wheel replacement, because its such an old model we had found one close enough replacement wheel but not quite the same, Steven had to ask Adam to deliver him a special part to make it fit (within 15 mins)!!!Problem solved!!! Thanks a lot guys!!! For their knowledge and passion, and for their super positive and helpful attitude!!!Update: We just picked up my seatpost, Adam was able to cut it perfectly in his shop, and he made some more adjustments on my new cyclocross bike, Im so excited to ride it tomorrow 😊!!! I only wish I didnt order my bike from Amazon which came in a box, I could have had Adam ordered me parts and built me a better custom made bike with reasonable price!!!!! These people are really passionate and knowledgeable about bikes and cycling!!! We will be back for sure!!!!!

THIS WAS GOING TO BE ON A MONTHLY BASIS FOR PARTS .ON FRIDAY THE 13TH AT 1:15PM...THAT WAS UR WINTER BREAK MONEY GOOD LUCK WITH UR BIZ.... .
