I had such a great experience with Mandy! I truly had my best brow/lash tint of all time. She asked questions to make sure she understood what I wanted. She also made sure to let me know, when my eyes were closed, that she was still close and how much time was remaining periodically. She just took her job really seriously. Great for the client! I really enjoyed my experience there and, while I was told Mandy will not be doing this service anymore, she personally trains the other staff so I will be happy to return!

I have been a customer for many years because of the friendly welcoming professional staff who provide excellent services. In a recent visit, Alexis listened to my preferences and did a spot on brow tweezing.Mandy efficiently manages each customer to be sure they get prompt thorough services. Mandy is particularly skilled at working with clients to offer makeup or product suggestions. She is always helpful and makes every visit an absolute pleasure.

I have been going here for years and always have a great experience. I feel and look great after. There are a few locations a little closer to me now, but I continue to go to the Damen location because the people who work there are wonderful.

Last night, I had a wonderful wax appointment with Jackie. I was the last appointment of the night but it was the best experience Ive had at benefit in years! It was nearly painless and she was very gentle. Amanda didnt do my services but she was there and made my friend and I feel very welcome and comfortable. Everything was clean and I watched them keep everything clean and well sanitized as well as instructing us through their safety procedures in a welcoming manner. I was very satisfied with my experience and my friend said she will book a wax appointment with them as well based on witnessing the wonderful service.

I had an amazing experience at Benefit! Alexis was incredibly knowledgable and patient for all of my services. She explained everything in great detail and was sure to make sure I was comfortable. The boutique is incredibly clean and all staff was friendly and willing to help in any way they could. I highly recommend...ask for Alexis :-)

The ladies here are fantastic! They’re really thoughtful about time for each of their clients (I know this because I was late the first time I stopped by and had to reschedule - it sucks a little when it happens to you BUT I know it’s super important for the rest of their clients and I’ve never had to wait when I arrive for my appointments.) Jackie also did a great job on my brows, she didn’t even think twice, she knew exactly how to shape them best + she gave me some really good insight on what I can use for them! Finally, I really appreciate that everyone was happy to answer questions but never too pushy about purchasing products.

If youre on the fence, just go! Theyll show you the plan beforehand and its very much customizable. I legit have 12 eyebrow hairs and Im SO protective of them. Mandy did such a good job evening things out and making my eyebrows look so much fuller. Learned a lot laughed a lot, left with a real eyebrow pencil so I can finally stop using my jet black eyeliner (😭). Highly recommend!

Jackie is AMAZING! I have talk about it her all the time and always get so many compliments about my eyebrows. They literally make you feel like family and I always look forward to going back. I have alway had a positive experience with services completed at Benefit Damen. I have gone to this location over the last several years, specifically for eyebrow threading. Ive been seeing Selby over my last several appointments, she is great! Friendly, good at what she does, and very knowledgeable.

Selby is the best! She has helped my brows grow in and shape them so much. I don’t trust anyone else with my brows now!

Selby is by FAR the best brow artist Ive ever encountered. Not only does she do great work, but she really listens to better understand how she can make your brows even more beautiful. Ive been going to her monthly now for about five months and couldnt be happier...even given the commute from the south side.

In Minnesota, I had THE brow lady of Minneapolis. She was professionally trained and worked for Vogue magazine for a few years before starting her own studio. Thats right, a studio for brows?! A studio let me tell you, it cost me $70 w/tip each time I had them done. Needless to say when I moved to Chicago I had NO idea where to go that would allow me the same look. So I caved after a few weeks looking like a Muppet Baby, I went to the local nail salon. Lets start off by saying most of them double dip, and their wax strips are a one size fits all. They are quick and cheap, but anyone can do your brows at that rate. After many failed attempts to get my brows right, always too thin BTW... I went to Benefit after a quick trip to Macys. The do brow mapping! Although my brows were crazy thin, I weathered the storm by taking 5 months to grow them out fully to start over and have my brows mapped the correct way. Totally wroth it! Going to the Benefit boutique is just a very fun experience, you can bring your dog, you can chat with all the locals. Ladies, if you can give your brows 5 months to grow back in, you will find that it was well worth the wait. Although this is a bit extreme, I didnt have to wait that long, I could have certainly gotten them cleaned up while waiting for them to grow in... Choice is yours!

The services and products here are great!Ive been here twice for an brow tint & wax. The staff is very friendly. Even though theyre trying to sell Benefit products on top of the services I never feel like thats the only thing theyre interested in, which is nice.Theyre also very good about accommodating last minute appointments.The brow tints Ive had done here were excellent and have lasted 4-6 weeks minimum. The stylist recommended a great shade for my brows that resembles the dark parts of my hair. Ive always gotten quite a few compliments after - especially when I went with a darker shade.The wax was nice - very thorough. I might recommend having the upper portion threaded though. My skin tends to be sensitive to wax, so its nice to have the option.

Got my brows waxed for the first time ever, I was a little clueless about how to tame my face caterpillars. Alex talked through what she was doing and was friendly, so i felt pretty comfortable with the brow wax. I was also clueless how to do my brows myself so Melissa(sorry if I got her name wrong) gave me a quick eyebrow lesson which I am grateful for!This location is cute and bright, everybody was friendly and I will definitely come back.

Just got my eye trio done yesterday and my eyebrows are looking lovely. Courtney is actually the best person to go to but she wasnt available yesterday. My brow artist left a little dye underneath my eyes which Nikki the make up artist tried to clean up as best she could...usually not a problem though. Nikki is the stuff for make up and she will make you look pretty even after you have had hot wax ripped off your face skin. Good for those of us with light eyebrows who need some tinting to make us look like we have those fluffy guys.

Mandy did a great job on my brows and going back for second time. The comment before me makes me upset and just have to put my 2 cents in. Being in the service industry, I understand the importance of being on time to an appointment. If the day is booked up and with one client 10 mins late it just isnt possible to expect everyone else to move their day around because of your tardiness. Know the neighborhood and traffic patterns. If you dont, it is not their responsibility to cater to your needs. Seriously, who do you think you are?Bottom line, this place is a gem. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and professional!

For $50 in product purchase the talented makeup artists here will make you look like a natural beauty. My maid of honor and I came here for a pre-shower makeover and my guests couldnt stop raving about how radiant I looked. The boutique gets very busy on the weekends so be sure to make an appointment.

Shae slayed my brows! Shes a keeper ladies & gents. She just knows what shes doing and shes precise, clean, friendly. I popped in as a walk-in and thank goodness I was able to get squeezed in. Cristina is such a sweet, approachable and friendly makeup artist who made the experience of just being in the store fun! I guess thats why shes turn up Tina haha. She also schooled me on some essentials. I will definitely be back and look forward to visiting the gals at this location.

Completely unsatisfied and dissapointed.I booked my appointment 2 weeks in advanced for my eyebrows to be done for my birthday. I arrived and the women at the desk tells me she can’t find my appointment or info and that the women who can do eyebrows is booked. Mind you no one was in store while I was standing trying to figure everything out.At the end she says that globally their systems have been down- that is no excuse for me- when I make an appointment I expect it to be done otherwise I’d do a walk in and test the chances.

Ive been a loyal customer of this Benefit for over five years, and have used Jackie as my aesthie with great results. However, I had a 4:45 appointment today and was running late due to traffic on Damen. I received a phone call at 4:52 informing me that they could no longer honor my appointment even after I explained that I was two minutes away. Ive never had this happen before with a service appointment, and particularly not even 10 minutes after the appointment was scheduled to begin. I wasted valuable time trying to get to the salon only to have to turn around and drive back through traffic to pick my daughter up from daycare with unkempt eyebrows. Im highly disappointed to say I dont think Ill be visiting Jackie at this location any longer, and will find a new salon that values long time customers more.

Very hard to get an appointment and then when you are able to get in for a simple brow wax, you get burned from how heated the wax is. Not the best service.

Convienent for make up and waxing however they do pressure you to buy so stay strong if you just want to buy one or two things. they are super friendly however, and will remember your face if you come in several times which gives it a nice neighborhood feel.

Best place to get your eyebrows done. Mandy and Jackie are my faves.

I had a great experience!!!!! All of the girls are great, but honey let me tell yall about Cristina!!!! That girl slayed my whole life!!! That girl is an eyebrow EXPERT!! Believe me when i tell you, you will not be dissapointed!! Ive gone to many people to do my eyebrows and never have i ever had anyone make my eyebrows look as amazing as she did!! She is a great makeup artist and has such a great spirit!! CHECK THAT GIRL OUT!!!! I wish i was allowed to rate more than 5 stars, because that is the type of service i recieved. It was my first time there, now it will be from infinity to beyond lol.Thank you all soo much!

This place is a joke. Rudest people working her. Go to one at an Ulta. Not a single person in the place, the say its an hour wait. The woman who does makeup asked me if I use a lot of cheap products, told me tinting eyelashes is worthless (way to sell a service). Worst Benefit service ever.
