I had an electrical draw on my 2008 Mercury Sable and my mechanic immediately suggested taking it to a dealership. I selected Walker Ford because of its location which turned out to be a great thing. Justin the shop foreman worked on my car trying different things to remedy the draw for over a month. I had Brian Kirk helping me and when he was not available Daniel was very helpful. The worst part of this experience was with Amy. She was unhelpful and tried to shoo me away when I was there to get an update thankfully Daniel was happy to help me. The extended time to get to the cause of my cars trouble was factored in with the price of the service which was VERY reasonable. The car has been running fine for weeks now. I appreciate the team and their help.

ANOTHER WEEK AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!!!I bought a brand new 2021 F-350 dually 5 months ago. Believe or not my brand new truck caught on fire. This happened on July 16th.I towed the truck to walker ford cause there was where I bought it from.The truck is still at the same spot that I left it. Walker Ford don’t care if this is my work truck. They don’t care if I’m loosing money. They just don’t have an answer for my problem. I bought a brand new truck so I don’t have this kind of problem now I’m dealing with this nightmare. Honestly I don’t know what to do.My insurance wouldn’t cover it cause the truck is under warranty.God help me to fix this cause FORD WONT

I had a great experience working with everyone at the dealership! I walked in and did not feel like anyone was pressuring me to buy a car but rather engaged and ready to help when I wanted it. Everyone was very knowledgeable and personable when going through the steps for trading in my car. Rob helped me with my decision on which truck to get and Harry helped my with the paperwork. Rob and Harry were both patient and great to work with. I traded my RAV4 in and I couldn’t be happier with my new 2021 F150 and my experience with Walker Ford!

What a great car buying experience! I worked with Irene Flenna who made the process easy and enjoyable. Irene worked out the entire transaction via email and a couple of phone conversations. When I arrived at the dealership my car was ready and waiting for me. All I needed to do is sign the paperwork and I was on my way. Everyone I met at the dealership was very friendly. Irene was a true pleasure to work with, very efficient and enjoyable.

I had heard great things about this dealership. I called to make a service appointment for 2 recalls I received. The employee answered the phone on speaker, someone was having a secondary conversation behind who I was speaking to, I couldn’t tell who was speaking to who. He picked up the phone and proceeded to book my appointment. I gave him my vin. He said you have 1 recall for the roof rack. I replied that I was holding a letter for an engine coolant sensor. He said that isn’t a recall, if you aren’t having issues, it won’t be replaced.Well, my issue is besides answering the phone on speaker and conducting business with other conversations overheard, why wasn’t the engine coolant sensor even brought up? No mention of it even being checked. I had booked an appointment in St Pete and chose to attempt to do business closer to my home but I’m going back to St Pete. They told me of the coolant letter and told me the time needed to check it and if need be, replace it. That builds trust and that is good business.

Great dealership with a large inventory. I started with Autonation but they kept trying to push me to buy a truck I didn’t want so they could clear their inventory. I came here and had a totally different experience. Jackson was my salesman, he did a great job finding the truck I wanted and was not pushy at all. I’ll definitely buy my next vehicle from him. I traded in my Silverado and got much more than I expected. Overall it was a great experience. Definitely not what I was expecting. Thanks Jackson!

I called into Walker Ford to talk to a sales representative who could assist me in ordering a custom F-150. I was connected with Jake Halterman. Immediately Jake delivered some of the best customer service I have ever received at any businesses I’ve been to in the past. He listener to what I wanted and needed in my new vehicle and he was able yo recall that the dealership had an F-150 just delivered the night before. He said I believe this truck has everything you want. He said let me verify it and I’ll call you back in 5 minutes. Jake delivered on his time limit and texted me pictures of the vehicle and it’s sticker. I said I will be right down to look at it. As soon as I entered the dealership Jake was at the Door to great me. He already had the F-150 in the front waiting on me. He also had an appraiser who could appraise my trade vehicle while we were on our test drive. We test drove the F-150 and I feel in love. He was able to give me exactly what I owed on my trade. He assisted me with all the foreign documents that dealership had for me and I was able to make arrangements to buy the vehicle. I also was able to take advantage of the 0% interest that Ford Credit was offering on the new F-150s. Jake was the reason I felt the best about my decision in the purchase and buying experience. Thanks to Jake I will be back for my next vehicle.

Disappointed in the service when buying a new car. Feb 2021 filled out a credit app at walker and Brandon Ford. Went to walker next am and was told Ford credit declined. Went to Brandon Ford and had already been approved for a new Ford Edge.Bought it. Love it. Check Brandon Ford out first when looking for a new Ford.Confused why Ford credit would approve one dealer and not another I called the salesman, who never got back to me. Week later called a sales manager, who never got back to me. Went into the dealership a week later and the sales manager put me in touch with Mike Batch, salesman. Gave him all my info and he never got back to me.Same new Ford Edge price range. Still not sure why one dealer would sell me the car, which I love, and another would not.I’ve done business with walker in the past, but I’ll start with Brandon Ford in the future.

This dealership is by the far the absolute WORST I have ever done business with. Their finance managers are clowns, their sales associates don’t inform you that they will hit your credit 10 times when the application they hand you strictly says Ford Motor Credit. Heir service department is terrible and destroyed my Ford Focus to back me into a wall and continue to finance and do business with them. I will never purchase a Ford again and this dealership is full of crooks and lack of compassionate managers and associates and should be ashamed of how they do business. How they have high reviews is beyond me. NEVER do business with this dealership they only care for their own pockets and not any compassion or best interest for the consumer.

Started off well and how much they were going to take care of me. I was trading in my car and they came in almost 20% below what trade in value. On top of that they would not even budge on their price of full sticker price. They wanted their cake and to eat it. These guys advertise they would beat any deal. Not only did they not beat the deal they would not even match it. These guys are only interested in themselves instead of being fair. You dont get to low ball the trade and expect someone to pay top dollar for your product. False advertisement. Salesman was professional. Highly recommend Rodnell. Very poorly managed. They will take advantage of you.

The car I was driving was an older car (2005), I had for about 5 years and it literally died on me last week on Monday 03/08/21. The repairs were pretty much going to be more than the car was worth at this point, and I decided I was going to get a new car. My brother recommended me to Walker Ford. He had purchased an Escape from them and had a good experience. The people I spoke to and worked with were amazing. They were all so helpful, personable, and pleasant to deal with. This was hands down the best buying experience I’ve had at a dealership. We were quick to make a deal (3 hours total!), they gave me a more than fair offer for my trade and the price of the new vehicle was fair. Very little negotiating to get the deal done with a win win. Mike Batch was an outstanding sales associate and Harry in finance was the best finance representative I’ve ever dealt with (that’s when things usually go south). Mike took about 30 minutes after the deal to go through all of the features with Sync. I highly recommend Walker Ford if you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Made an appointment today for service at 8 AM. It is now 12:30 and my car has yet to be serviced. When we called the first time at 11:30 we were put into a voicemail without a return call. An hour later we called again to find out because we didn’t wait there our car wasn’t a priority in spite of a scheduled appointment time. This is completely unacceptable. We made an appointment to fit into the schedule of our day. We now have to cancel another appointment because they haven’t bothered to work on our car. I made this appointment with the expectation my car would be completed within a reasonable amount of time, however when we asked if it could be done by 1, we were told it would be tight. This is our first experience with Walker Ford and likely our last… this is disappointing because when we purchased our Ford we were told FordPass would provide quality service at any Ford dealership, there is nothing quality about this experience…

I was shopping for a SUV due to the fact I just adopted a Greyhound and he did not fit in my Mustang. I visited 4 car dealerships prior to Walker Ford. I am so glad I did! This dealership was the only one to make me feel like I was not just another number. Dinarte Luz, my salesperson, treated me with dignity and respect. He was willing to listen to what I wanted and worked within my budget, it was NOT high pressure. TL, DR:If you are buying and live in Florida, Walker Ford can be a good place to buy a vehicle, but if you live out of state, I would look elsewhere. Too much time wasted after the sale dealing with poor or nonexistent communication concerning title and registration issues.Full Review:Inquired about a used 2019 Ram 1500 in mid December. Was assigned to Vic Haul, an older sales representative who was old school preferring calls and in person negotiation to email. I prefer email to have things in writing, plus I was out of Houston trying to buy, then fly in and pick up the truck and drive it home from them in Tampa.Communication was very slow or sometimes nonexistent through the negotiation phase after indicating I wanted the Truck and was ready to move forward with the purchase. Truck was priced fair for condition and mileage, but they added on an almost $800 paperwork fee on top of the advertised sales price. I am use to this fee being for reasonable around $100-$200, but they wouldnt budge on adjusting it. It wasnt until I relayed Florida Law which requires all fees be included in the advertised price did they take the fees price out of the cars sales price to make the total match their advertised price.Flew out and test drove the truck. All appeared good. Worked with Mike Blankenship in Finance and that went well. He tried to hard sell the extended warranty, albeit politely, and was respectful when I declined. Truck was purchased in about 3 hours and I was heading back to Texas. Mike relayed the documents I would need to get once back home and send to them for Walker Ford to then relay to their 3rd Party titling company they use for out of state buyers. No problem, got that done the first week back and sent via FedEx to them.I was re-assigned to Gregg Ledbetter with Vic retiring at the end of 2020.Communication then went back to being poor or no reply after that. First it was confirming they received the documents I sent via FedEx and that nothing was additionally needed on my part. Next it was me having to ask for status updates each week on the tag/plate process. When I would get a response back, it was normally still processing or something to that effect. End of January comes and the temp tag they gave me expires. I relay this concern and request a new temp tag, but never given one or even an answer on that request. Just an updated finally from the 3rd party company that there was a small issue between them and Texas that they were addressing to finalize the tag/plates.Through all of February I continue remind about expired temp tags and my concerns with that as well as ask for updates. Communication continues to be delayed and vague. I THEN GET PULLED OVER BY LOCAL POLICE FOR THE EXPIRED TAG. I was only after pleading with them my situation and showing the office the extensive email history of trying to get it sorted did he give me a warning, but the office could have just as easily had my truck towed and impound, the fees associated with that tow and storage, and written me a ticket with its associated fees and court costs.I immediately reached out to Gregg demanding and update and still have yet to receive a reply as of this week. I decided to take matters into my own hands and called the local DMV to figure out the status. Turns out their 3rd Party company WAITED A MONTH to submit my documents which arrived and were processed THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY per the states system. The problem causing the hold up was A $11.50 DIFFERENCE IN TAXES STILL OWED DUE TO THEIR SYSTEM MISCALCULATING BASIC SALES TAX. The states had notes where they show they alerted the 3rd Party titling company to this issue and were informed a check would be in the mail to them. Instead, the 3rd Party company dropped the ball and LET IT GO ANOTHER MONTH AND PROBABLY MORE IF I DIDNT CALL TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM MYSELF.So, now, I will be driving to the county DMV today 2/25/21 to pay the $11.50 difference and pickup my tag/plates today and move on with my life. Just plain stupid, really.

I wish I could give a 0 star review for this dealership.While initially the process was quick and painless, it was abruptly halted.I inquired about a 2017 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium CPO yesterday. I promptly sent over paperwork and disclosed that I was very interested in the car. The dealership approved me for financing on the basis that I had a strong parental co-signer which I stipulated I would provide tomorrow. The car was sold within a few hours after hard pulling my credit.I find it rather distasteful that they would ding my credit and then sell the car immediately afterward.Poor service and even poorer disclosure about the popularity of the car.

I grew up in a garage; I have the same disdain for dealerships as most sane people. But let me tell you, from a service/repair standpoint, these guys are awesome and I will not go elsewhere in Florida.You don’t need to hear the details, but they have always been affordable, and when there was an issue at pick up (that they had fixed) they immediately addressed it and upgraded me to OEM parts at no charge. Big fan. Nice change in dealership scenery.

Steven McHenry is a sloppy, frumpy, dopey, sloth of a man that epitomizes the poor quality and negative attitudes folks have of the vehicle service industry. The customer service here is absolutely AMAZING!!! I had been looking for a specific truck and went to AutoNation Ford first (because they were closer to me). The guy there basically told me he wasn’t going to help me if I wasn’t buying from him specifically (he didn’t have what I wanted on his lot). I called Walker Ford and spoke to Jake! He told me they had exactly what I wanted and to head his way. When I got there, the truck was already pulled up front for me. He went over EVERYTHING with me and took time to answer all my questions! Once I decided to move forward with the purchase I met Harry. He too was such a pleasure to deal with! It was 100% honestly a great experience from the time I walked onto the lot until I drove away in my new Ford. When I called, I provided the truck info and the sales Rep Bill told me he wanted to verify the truck was on the lot before I made my 40 minute drive to the dealership. Bill did keep me on hold for more time than I had hoped to be on hold, but luckily verified the truck was there.After arriving, I was greeted and shown to Bill. We walked out to where the truck was and there I waited for him to get the keys. 10 minutes.....20 minutes...... 30 minutes........No key. The manager comes out and assures me that they are not sure where the key is and at this point I dismiss myself and let them know, I’m out of time. They offer to reach out to me once the key is located and to actually drive the truck to my home in Downtown Tampa so that I’m able to test drive it and check it out for myself. This all sounds good to me, so I agree. Not knowing when they will actually find this key, I let them know I’m flexible even after wasting my entire afternoon. So I leave and go on about my life, awaiting the phone call to see this truck. No call.3 days later here we are. No call, no truck, multiple hours gone from my life for absolutely nothing with no courtesy phone call or apology at all. This is one of very few reviews I’ve ever written because I generally let things roll off and make the best of the situation. I’ve owned over 30 vehicles and never been treated like I’m of such little importance. I am still in disbelief and will be sure to talk ill of Walker Ford ANYTIME it is mentioned.I hope no one else is overlooked in this type of manner and hopefully Walker Ford can do a better job of organizing and storing their keys for their clients, especially those who are prepared buyers.

I have had my 2015 Ford F250 to Walker Ford twice for warranty and regular service. The first time was a bad battery on the passenger side that leaked battery acid and destroyed the engine battery harness. Harness and battery was replaced in a timely manner. Overall they did a good job. I was only missing one bolt from the air cleaner and they left a pair of pliers under the hood. I gave the pliers back.My most recent visit was on 07/29/17 for yet another bad battery. This one on the drivers side this time. But caught it before it ruined the harness again. The truck also needed some basic service engine oil, filter, fuel filters ect. Well this time they left three positive accessory wires loose. They did not top off the coolant tank after the service writer was told the light was on and I though it should be checked. They checked it off of the check list as being done but it was not. It took 2 quarts of coolant to top it off. I hope its not the beginning of a bigger problem.They did accommodate me on short notice which was nice because they are always busy. Thank you. Everyone there is really friendly and kind. The service prices are reasonable. They offered to reconnect the three accessory wires and top the coolant tank off. Plus buff some scratches at the top of the drivers side fender that likely came from when the battery was installed. I took care of all it myself because of my busy schedule and today was my clean and service my truck day. I would recommend you check that the work you asked to have done was done correctly before you leave. I felt four stars was fair for the service dept overall. The tech that did the battery gets a F.

Dinarte Luc was my salesman and he was extremely friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend going to see him if you’re looking for a car. I didn’t feel like I was pressured or oversold at any point, it was actually the complete opposite. I felt like they worked hard to get me a great interest rate. Delt with Richard in commercial sales. He was attentive to my needs and rushed my new van through the shelve and ladder rack installation process due to me having a new employee starting this week at my HVAC contracting business. Mickey in finance was just as good. They knew i am a business man and dont have half a day or more to sit in a dealership just to purchase a work truck. Everything was ready to go when i got there. Signed a loan with Mickey, jumped in truck and was down the road in 30 min. Thats how I like to make my purchases!!!!

Refused to do so even though it would take 5 minutes and told me to come back Tuesday at lunch yet never took my name to set an appointment. Things dont always go as planned, sometimes miscommunications happen, and someTimes things just get missed. That’s life. It happens. But when those things happen how you respond dictates the outcome.I had to go back for a thing or two, but even in that exp and when I was being a little difficult to deal with 😏😜 Doug kept his cool, responded professionally, and worked through my issues (some that were truly my issues). Brian Kirk and Ryan gets a 5 stars for me. He was outstanding. However my problem is with whomever I spoke to on the phone after picking up my car. I gave permission for the service people to go in my glove box to get my extended warranty papers. When I picked up my car. I had paper from my glove box sprawled out all over my passenger side door. Also my Change jar, which has a closed cap and sits on my door, was on the other side of the car on the floor with change spilled out. As well as some of my Dress Uniform Ribbons on the floor which were in my center console. When I asked about this the service advisor asked maybe if I took a turn and it spilled out? There was no owning up to how my car looked. I did not expect them to clean my car. However I only thought of it as respectful to keep in the condition it was brought in as. The least they couldve done was put the contents of my glove box into on my seat neatly for me to put back.I called with the intention of an understanding. My car should be worse then the way I dropped it off. Im not looking for anything free nor handouts. I wanted them to understand this was wrong. The service advisor whom I spoke with had zero care of the situation and could only direct that it was possibly me who made the car this way. I wont be coming back here again.Again Brian and Ryan whom I felt with were fantastic. Answered my questions and the services provided improved my cars performance. However the way they delt with my complaint is unacceptable.

Yesterday, 3/30/21, my husband and I went to Walker ford to inquire about a new/used Ford F-150. We need a new truck for our business and were really interested in looking at a few we saw online and wanted to buy one. When we walked through the door, we looked around the showroom for a few minutes waiting for someone to help us. One of the salesman MIKE, came up to us and we told him we were looking at the used F-150. He looks at us and says Well they are over there and points outside, as to say we can go look for ourselves. Red flag number 1. We ask, well can you show us? And we all walk outside, we are looking at the trucks and MIKE says NOTHING. Like he doesnt want to sell to us at all. Red flag number 2. So we say thank you and start walking back to our car, only then did MIKE start speaking and saying if we want to come back. No way in hell after that treatment! Even after I called to complain, the manager BILL, I believe his name was, didnt seem to care too much. I would NEVER come back to this dealership.

Although I have not taken delivery of my new truck yet I wanted to share my experience with Walker Ford. I worked virtually with Irene Flenna and Mike Blankenship and although from a credit standpoint I was in a good position, unforseen curcumstances caused some issues in the process. Both Irene and Mike worked for a solid two days to get things worked out, not to mention they returned and responded to my phone calls after hours to make sure I was always in the loop and were very informative and honest. If you are in Florida and want a new/used Ford I would highly recommend Walker Ford. For me, it is well worth the 150 mile drive to work with them rather than any other dealer.
