I was more than impressed with their customer service, professionalism & workmanship! I called several places and I was told that because my daughter’s iPhone had water damage that there was nothing that could be done & that I would just have to buy a new phone. Then my boss told me about CPR Cellphone Repair so I decided to call them & thank goodness I did! Not only were they honest and reasonably priced but they were able to repair my daughter’s iPhone! And then even helped me to find a waterproof case for it so hopefully we don’t have to worry about this again! I seriously can’t thank them enough for all of their kindness and help!

Dropped my phone off on April 20th, was told it would take a few days to a couple weeks to order new screen and repair phone. Well call you when its ready. No problem, right?Made 2 stops by the shop and got 2 diff reasons why my phone wasnt ready, on the 3rd stop, Oh yeah, its fixed. Phone had a new screen, but it didnt fit the phone correctly. You could see the circuit board down both sides of the case. Took it home anyway. Had already bought a phone because of the wait time, was going to use the repaired one as a spare.Screen wouldnt stay lit, so had to take it back. (Was a working phone with a cracked screen when I dropped it off the first time. 4 months later and 4 more times I stopped buy the store for 4 more diff excuses, still no repaired working phone.So, 6 months, no phone calls from the store to ever tell me there was a problem with my phone. I finally get a call telling me my phone is broken, will not turn on or charge, and I can come buy and pick it up with no screen on it whatsoever. Well refund your moneyTurns out my refund didnt include a diagnostic fee. So, basically, I payed these people to keep my cell phone for six months, destroy it completely, and return it as scrap.Worst customer service service Ive ever experienced, and a total waste of time and money. Wish Id never set foot in the place.

Had an iPhone that needed a new charging port. Dropped it off and was given an estimate of a couple days. Almost a week went by with no update, so I called them and they said it looked like it had already been picked up according to their computer system. I told them that was not possible, as I had not been at the store since they haven’t said it was done and ready for pickup. The guy said he’d look again for the device, and after apparently losing it he did eventually find it. They then completed the repair that afternoon. I can’t quite say I recommend them and I don’t know if I’d trust them with one of my devices again.With all that said, the iPhone repair was done correctly and its replaced charging port works like new again.

My phone needed a new screen, they ordered it and had it replaced in less than 2 hrs. Works great now. My text and some phone functions wouldn’t work properly because of a problem with the screen. Thanks for your help.

The guys at CPR were very helpful. I had issues with an older phone that I didnt want to replace. They put in a new battery on my Samsung, I realize it wont be as efficient as the original battery, but it is definitely going to give me some extra time and save me from buying a new phone. Ive read the other reviews, and I can say I had a great experience! I just wanted my phone working, a 9 year old phone that was still reliable, and they got me there! YAY! They were professional, honest, and friendly....I paid upfront for my battery to be ordered, and they only had my phone for a few hours when the battery came in. Dropped my cell phone off on Friday to get checked out for the wifi and bluetooth stop working, was told I, would be notified on Saturday what was wrong and the cost to repair, the phone had no charge on it and they said no problem. Its now Tuesday and no one will answer the phone so I, decided to go to cpr covington and the door was locked when they should have been open for business. was then told they would open at noon I, picked up my phone and was told the tech could not figure out the problem you can look at the phone and tell nothing was done to it so I paid 32.00 for no service. would not recommend taking your phone here for repair.

Good Service and reasonable pricing. I had a crack screen and bend up iPad After taking it to CPR I received it back with an amazing screen but the only problem was that my button didn’t work. I struggle getting into my iPad when the screen turn off which lead me to remove the passcode. Everytime I call they always seem to have a business line. I am just Upset about the button not work n wish to get it fix with no charge. Overall Good review

I took my phone there in September with camera issues they were supposed to fix and return. I had the 11 pro max. And they kept it for weeks stating that they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it so then they sent it to another warehouse to be professionally looked at. As I continue to call to find out where my phone is it is always I have to call back or someone will have to call me back at this point my phone has been gone for seven months and I am seeking legal action..... Now since I’ve started my legal action they contact me attempting to put the blame on a technician that is no longer employed there, saying that I have to contact him in order to get the Situation squared away. I will be proceeding with my lawsuit

The staff was very and honest on how much it would cost to replace a cell phone screen and even let us know if it was worth it for the value of the phone. Even told us where we could go to get another phone instead within the price range we were looking to spend at the time. I really appreciate straight forward and honest feedback. End up replacing the phone but will definitely come back for the computer I need fixed.

This store was absolutely horrible. I really recommend not taking anything here because I took my laptop to get fixed in October hoping to have it fixed in 2 weeks or less for school. But every week they had a excuse saying that the part hasn’t came in then saying that the guy got fired and they just got a new guy working on my laptop. Also they said it would be done the next week on the phone but when I called they said it wasn’t ready. I can go on and on but that is a lot to type. When I finally got my laptop back it was like January 29. And get this the laptop still wasn’t fixed. For use to pay 60 dollars it should be fixed

I went to them in August or September of 2020 and spent almost $300 to get my iPhone repaired due to water damage and a slight cracked screen. Here it is December 2020 and though my screen is a new one, my phone is still NOT WORKING PROPERLY 😩 (screen freezes up, I gotta warm my phone up in order for my screen keyboard to unlock, when I press the delete button it freely erases the WHOLE text, I gotta click my phone on and off 50-11 times before I can put my password in, if I am in the middle of swiping or texting the screen just freezes up, if I needed to dial 911 let’s just say my chances are slim to none when it comes to unlocking the screen or using the keyboard)! I’m just sad that I spent all of that money on services that were mediocre and lacking results, hell I could have invested in a brand new phone!

My husband took my iphone up to this shop to get the screen fixed because I dropped it while I was out shopping and I started seeing lines across the screen.they did the screen but it started acting up again the next day glitching around and moving by its self (I DID NOT DROP IT AGAIN) I did not want to give them my device again because my husband said he didnt feel like he could really trust them and the vibe was off so we took it to another repair shop and they fixed it. the other repair shop showed us that the phone was missing alot of screws and said that they had to add security screws? in as well for free because those screws were missing too. I dont think people should use this repair shop its risky

I called to see if I needed an appointment and they told me to come on Inn and I told them the type of phone I have they said they could fix it I drove 25 minutes just for them to tell me they didnt have the screen in stock so it was a waste of time and gas

Worst company to deal with, lousy customer service and will charge even if they don’t fix your device. Couldn’t repair an iPad screen and took 1 month before just giving up. Never called to update, had to call every week to hear some lousy excuse. Reporting these scam artists to BBB and chamber of commerce. DONT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

They will fix just about any screen issue pretty quickly. I had them repair the HDMI out on my sons xbox one. It works perfectly.

They had my phone for 5 months and Everytime I called all I got was the run around about why it wasnt fixed. I went in for a bad charger port and now my phone will not connect to any service. My phone is worse off now then when I brought it in. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE!

My boyfriend took his iphone there to have the back glass and screen replaced. When it was finally ready to be picked up the battery had been damaged, and puffed up, and the back glass would not even fire or close properly, but they were still trying to say it was fixed, however after some days, a bit of having to be assertive and contact with another repair shop, which printed out a list of apple requirements for a functioning iphone, as well as speaking with the original employee who received his phone at CPR, we were able to get it completely repaired with no extra charge, but not without having to threaten to take matters to a higher authority and get a new phone of the same make and model. It was ridiculous.

Called and asked if they worked on projectors. They told me to bring it in they would look at it. Basically paid for nothing because the projector was worse after I bought it in. Will not patronize this company ever!!!! I would have been fine with them telling me that they don’t work on projectors...

The young lady up front was very nice and helpful. It did not take long and I had my phone back within the hour...which really pleased me. I have no complaints and would use them again.

CPR did an excellent job repairing my mp3 player and my game console. They do really great work on an array of electronics. Highly recommended!

I-pad:My grand daughters i-pad only needed a new screen; it took more than 8 weeks and by the time we got it back it wouldnt hold a charge, the home button didnt work and the screen worked but some spots didnt. The last 4 week they had us holding on the repair of the home button. Every Wednesday they would tell us next week, next week. At this point Ill have to buy another one.I understand that the pandemic was a factor but the lies and the extra damages were too much. If you couldnt fix it then you could have said so

It took 2 months and 3 screens and I still have a broken tablet, spent $139.00+ tip. The 1st. Screen replacement took weeks, after about 3 weeks I was told to come there and pick up the tablet, on the way there he called saying it was the wrong screen and have to order another one, after another couple of weeks I again was called after I am on my way there and was told he cracks the 2nd screen and would have to order another one, finally I picked it up from them and as soon as my grandson arrived home I took it to his house, he tossed it on the couch and the screen broke. CPR refused to refund my money or order another one.

I got my daughter’s IPad fixed. The safe was great the customer service was amazing and they fixed the iPad with 3 days. I definitely recommend them.

I put my switch in for a broken card reader and a messed up joy-con rail. Not only did they barely fix the rail, but after waiting for two months for my switch to be fixed it came back in worse condition than I left it with them. The card reader no longer functions at all, and the touchscreen is now completely broken. Not only did they do that, but apparently they did a cable to charge and check my device. If they dont have a type c, how are they going to charge and check any android users phone. Never going to have another console repaired by them, and please reconsider taking it here. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

I am very happy that my IPad screen is fixed. It is now brand new. The technicians did a great job and were very nice.

Went in on a Friday to get my screen fixed. They had to order the part and was told the next day for sure they would get it in because I was in a time crunch. Never recieved a call that it came in until I called on Tuesday and they then told me it did come in. Brought my phone in on Wednesday and was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. Gave them a number to reach me at to let me know when it was done. 4 hours pass and I call them and they tell me yeah its ready. I go pick it up and the back part of my phone was coming apart from the front (Samsung galaxy) and the date and time was completely wrong. So I wait around for another 45 minutes for him to fix it only to be told that their glue isnt as good as the factory glue and I can just put my case on and it should help 🙄Bad customer service! And while I was in there another customer came in and brought his phone back after they fixed it because there was something rattling around in it. Idk if he got that fixed or not. I will not ever be returning here.

Avoid this place at all costs. I was quoted $55 to fix my iPad screen in 3-5 business days. They never called me, didn’t fix my iPad, and kept it for 2 weeks.

I was skeptical about using this place due to the bad reviews. But I went ahead and scheduled my appointment over the weekend to come in today at 12:00. Needless to say they definitely exceeded my expectations. They had me checked in, iPhone 7 screen replaced and out the door within 40 minutes. I will definitely refer my family and friends to them. And most certainly use them again if I ever need repairs in the future. Thank you CPR for the quick service.

We were told it would take 1 day for our repair and it turned into almost 2 weeks. We werent made aware up front that parts had to be ordered and after the first repair, they attempted to give me an ipad with OBVIOUS smudging under the screen (not just fingerprints, but something sticky). During the second repair, the technician broke the screen. I live on the other side of town and what should have been 2 trips (drop off and pick up) turned into 5. When i went to pick up my item after the final repair there was someone ahead of me CRYING due to issues she was having with her repair as well. I warned someone else of my issues on my way out. Excuse after excuse. Will never use this location again and will advise others of the same. I wish I had read the reviews before using this place, not only to see issues other people had, but to see the unprofessional responses (excuses) the OWNER has given.Edit to respond to owners response: it was not a female that advised us it would be a 1 day repair. My husband called and it was a male that advised this info. I was apologized to (I never said you didnt) and given a screen protector for the INITIAL inconvenience (extreme smudging under the screen) however when I requested that something else be done after the 2nd screen issue, additional trips to the location and additonal extended repair time, I was told that due to the technician breaking 2 screens you were already out of pocket. As I advised at that time, thats not my problem. So like I said before: 5 trips and an 11 day repair for something that was supposed to take 1 day? No thanks

As the mother of a 17 year old son who I am trying to teach how to handle himself in the business world, I would like to say I am very disappointed in CPR Cell Phone Repair in Covington. Several months ago, we took in my sons original switch, which is 3 years old, to the shop. I told them when we took it in that the switch was in need of a good cleaning as I knew I had picked it up from school from his younger brother. It had been outside, over to peoples houses, we even camped with it. As anyone knows, things get dirty when you treat it like that. So we received an email from CPR telling us that the system was finished and fixed and we needed to bring a game to test it. As we were in lockdown due to several people in the family being tested for Covid-19, I had my sister go and pick up the console. When she dropped it off the touch screen was no longer working which it was before we took it to them and the other problems were not fixed or completely fixed. My son wrote a review on the site about his experience before he contacted them to explain this. I explained to my son that it is not how an adult handles this that you take it back, talk to the company and give them a chance to fix it. Ever since he took the switch back we have been told how nasty we are and how he needs to remove the review. We wait another 3 weeks for the switch to come back and we received an email from them (which I will add at the end of this) where they tell us the switch is fixed and that we need to remove the review and sign a “negative review form” saying we will not post or say anything ugly about them again. Only then we can have it back. I proceed to contact corporate as this is illegal and they can not do so. No one from the corporate office calls me back. The store does and tells me that my only other option is to sign or go to small claims court (which he has been though and I “will never see a dime if I won”). So I called a local lawyer who has worked with my family for years and asked what to do. He informed me to go, and if he refuses to give it back to call the police and have them come to retrieve it from him due (the repairs were paid for and he can not hold an item because of a bad review). So I go by our local police office to let them know what is going on and two very nice officers go in with us. I was really afraid it might get ugly and he would continue his demands and name calling. He handed it right back over and there were absolutely no issues. I thanked him and the cops and we left. Later that day, we found he had responded to my son, who is a Minor, and he had put his full name on this response. Now I will say the Switch is fixed, and I was going to have Nathan pull down his review and I was going to put up one saying we had some “customer service issues” but in the multiple times I have used this store, this was the first and only problem. Now with all of this, I have contacted the local sheriffs office due to him putting my childs full name in his reply to my childs review. I am also contacting the local Better business bureau, as this was incredibly unprofessional. I will also be looking into other ways to address this matter. I believe that no one should use this business, not for the work but the customer service that you receive from one Jeremy Bratcher.

They attempted to charge me for a battery they didn’t have in stock. I had to call them out on it. I went in for a screen replacement. My phone cracked again almost immediately. Poor quality. Cheap. I felt extremely uncomfortable leaving my phone. Go somewhere else.

All of the staff is super helpful and friendly! Brian replaced my husbands screen on his phone and we are very satisfied with the quality. I brought it in and was able to pick it up within 45 minutes. They provided us with the best customer service and experience we could ask for!! I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a repair!

I’m guessing the guy whose name is on the back of the business cards is the owner and his customer service is poor at best. No way it should take weeks, yes weeks with an “s” meaning plural, for a part to come in. Trust me go elsewhere.

This is probably my first review in a very long time. It takes a lot for me go online and voice my opinion about a company or employee. I recently shattered my iPhone 6S screen and everywhere I looked it was super expensive or just inconvenient to drive the distance at that time.I found CPR-Covington North online through a google search, when I called I was greeted with a friendly voice that was very understanding and knowledgeable about my current situation. Kasey was the employees name and upon arriving at the store he was extremely friendly in person just as he was over the phone. He answered all my questions and literally fixed my phone for me in under 30 minutes. It also costed me less than anywhere else I looked. Very dissapointed and unsatisfied with my service. I have been to the store several times and my phone still does not work. I went to get my screen repaired on my phone. Nothing else was wrong with my phone at all,the screen was just cracked. I got the screen replaced and my phone began to glitch. The repair guy told me nothing was wrong with my actual phone and it was the screen they placed on my phone was defective. He told me they were getting a shipment of parts and I could return the next day. I returned the next day but the parts still didn’t arrive,but it was the holiday weekend so I let it go. The guy told me he would call me as soon as they get the parts in. The weekend passes by and I still never received a call. I had to call myself and check on the parts which finally arrived towards the end of the week. I go in to get my new screen,and I think the problem is solved but it is not. The guy tells me he fixed the glitch issue I was experiencing but he had to place a defective screen from another customers phone on to my screen and I would have to return AGAIN for another new screen replacement. When I got home that evening the glitch occurred again so he never really resolved the issue,and gave me a faulty screen. So now I have to go back again to have the glitch and screen fixed. I only wanted a new screen but instead I got the opposite. I am tired of returning back and forth to this store. If they don’t fix the issue this last time I will NEVER be back and stuck with a messed up phone. Thanks for trying to work with me but I am disappointed. I was better off with my cracked screen.

I finally decided to drive to the location and I was disappointed that they did not have product for the latest iPhone 11.The associate working was nice and apologized for not having the product available.

I called about getting my phones charge port replaced. While looking up what the quote would be, the man on phone also asked if i knew about the phones wireless charge function. He said i could get a wireless charger for cheap but also gave me the quote to fix the port. Bottom line is any business that would choose to provide a cheap solution for the customer before making a dollar has earned my future business. Thank you.

Went Friday 12/19/19 to have my IPhone XR screen/lcd replaced. Was guaranteed with a lifetime warranty. Buy a screen protector for an additional charge for $20 extra including warranty. Today is Monday 12/23/19. My screen is already broken. They use the cheapest products with zero warranty when it comes down to the claim. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Fixed my computer. Took virus off and now its running fast like its supposed to. Also fixed my kids tablets! Great service! Love these guys.

Do NOT GO THERE!!! The headache is not worth it. they will lose your stuff and give you run around. I have my game system there since December been getting run around since then. Now it’s March. THEY KEEP SAYING THEY WILL CALM YOU BUT NEVER DID.

It’s one day after having the front glass of my iPhone 8 Plus replaced. And I’m finding that I’m am very displeased with the repair. My touch screen has lost a lot of sensitivity. Like I will scroll on Facebook and the screen will not move. I’ll firm press to delete apps or move my curser to correct spelling errors in a text. I also have lost my “True Tone” capability in my screen setting. I’ll click on something and the screen doesn’t register and typing is extremely lagged. I think they used a cheap off brand glass instead of a Apple glass. Will be turning soon to attempt to have the issue corrected. If not, it’s a 100 dollars lost.

This guy broke a component on my phone while replacing the screen (after I paid in full - oops). He did the bare minimum to fix his mistake, failed, and 4 weeks later handed me a *still* broken phone. I guess I get to pay someone else to fix what a professional broke.If CPR spent as much time fixing mistakes they made as they spend justifying the poor service they provided.... Nah, probably still just be a sub-par business.

It took 7 days to pick up my iPhone 6 Plus that was not fixed and they replaced my screen with a different color screen that was already new because they cracked my screen when they replaced it. I was told they would have my phone fixed in 45 min, but when I returned they said they needed more time. I called them and they kept putting me off and saying they couldn’t find my phone. I spoke with the manager and he said once they find my phone they would call me right back. They didn’t call back on the 5th day so I tried calling 4 more times and they had blocked my number and kept sending me to voicemail. I went back to the Covington store to inquire about my phone and they said we can give it back to you unassembled or you can come back in 25 minutes and it will be put together. I came back in an hour to pick up my phone and it had a white screen instead of the black screen not fixed and they kept my money that was $32.00 that was suppose to go towards payment of fixing my phone. I had a coupon for $10.00 off that was suppose to go towards the total payment after my phone was fixed which they said would total around $50.00. When I picked up my phone from them unfixed I asked since the phone wasn’t fixed if I could use the $10.00 coupon toward the $32.00 down payment I paid? They said “no”, then (“how would they make any money?”) and I was because you’d still get $22.00. Not a good business!

I went there to get a cracked screen replaced as they were close and had good review. Price was $89.99. Unfortunately, the replacement screen cracked when they installed it a couple of days later. They said they would order another screen to do the fix right, which I appreciated. I had to call to check in, since they never called me back - but the replacement screen never came. I finally gave up after waiting 55 days from my initial purchase and found another solution. Im giving one star because they were nice. And an additional two stars because they at least gave a $45 store credit when I told them I got a new phone. Overall, I am pretty disappointed with my experience - particularly because I had to wait so long and am now out $45 (assuming I use the store credit) for nothing in return. But the people were really nice, friendly, and apologetic.

Called for a quote on a cell phone repair. Guy who answered the phone was incomprehensible. Gave up and took my business elsewhere.

If I could do a no star rating I would. They have the worst customers ever. I drop my laptop off 3 weeks ago. Was told it will be ready in 5 business days. And I would receive a follow up call that same day. 3 days went by no call. When I finally called they told me I need a hard driver and they ordered it (without consulting me) 2 weeks later I got my laptop back. Nothing works. I dropped it off back the guy promised to call me with up dates. Still no call. My touch screen wasn’t working. When I went to pick it up. My touch still doesn’t work and nobody can explain (when I dropped it off my touch was working fine) now I have to go another 2 weeks without a laptop because they have to send it to HP. This place is the worst and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.
