Went for a bike fit, felt like i wasted $400... they only wanted me to buy a bike from them and did not have my best interest in mind. Was completely underwhelmed with the fitting services and the environment overall. Would highly recommend going elsewhere for anything. Will not be going back or recommending anyone else to go there. They’re all great guys and extremely knowledgeable of the industry... might not find a group with more expertise than them. However, just not a great environment. Could sense the apprehension from the group because I didn’t buy a bike from them... just weird
Great experience with Retul fit helped fix some issues I had while riding — friendly staff knowledgeable about best upgrades and even suggestions for places to ride. Highly recommend!
Super friendly and knowledgeable! Great people!
Excellent store for triathlon gear, road bikes, etc
Brought bike in for a tune. After one short ride on paved surfaces, the brakes didnt work even though I was charged for a brake tweak. I called in and the shop wouldnt work with me to get the problem corrected. The shop guy wasnt very nice or empathetic. I would probably try other shops first
I am not much of a reviewer....but some times a place is so above and beyond that they deserve every bit of recognition that you can provide. Tribella is that place. Here we are in the midst of the COVID lockdown and it was time for my annual bike tune. I dropped it off and unfortunately the team found that my Zip front wheel was cracking internally. They negotiated w Zip for a half price set to replace. Well fast forward 5 weeks and we are still waiting on the wheel set. So what do these guys do? They have me bring down my old bike, flip the wheels and cassette and find me some spare brakes just to help me keep training. Once the parts finally come in they will have me bring it back, reverse the work, and set up the new wheel set. This is above and beyond level customer service. It is not their fault that we are in a pandemic, that components are taking forever to show up, but they figured out a way to keep me rolling. Thanks again guys...you are truly the best in town.
Great shop and excellent service! A top spot for triathlon (and general bike) service in Denver. James helped build my bike up and answered all my mechanical questions thoroughly. Overall, staff super helpful.
I’ve been going here for 2 years.Excellent customer service, fair labor pricing, and a knowledgeable staff that isn’t looking to up sell at every turn. You have a commuter bike? They’re not going to try and sell you some carbon fiber nonsense. You’re a triathlete? You’ll find everything you need to gain the competitive edge here. So, if you are looking for a place where you get exactly what you need. This is your shop.
Chris is a bike fit wizard!Im not a seasoned biking veteran, or even an avid rider. Im just getting started and needed to get my bearings when it came to bike fit. It was like Chris knew exactly how to explain the ins and outs of road biking in a way I could grasp. Hes the encyclopedia of all things biking (and stereo equipment). I knew after 5 minutes that I absolutely made the right choice by making the appointment. Not only did Chris get to know me, he really gave me the opportunity to ask any and all questions about the sport - independent of the actual bike fit. He got me on a bike and observed for about 15min. Explained the components of the bike and how to think about my progression in the sport. After he got all the measurements we went online to see what was available on Craigslist. I was amazed by that. He opened one link and showed me how to look at a bike online and assess whether or not it would fit as is or need to be modified based on my fit. I left there confident in buying offline, but also with Chris as a resource if I needed. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Chris if your on the market for a new bike or just beginning like me. Well worth the cost.
I trust no one else with my bikes. James and team always deliver the highest quality work on whatever crazy frameset/project I bring in for them to work on. James really knows his bikes and you will be in great hands whether youre taking in your weekend cruiser for a tune up, a high end race build, or just looking to talk to someone if youre looking to get into the sport of cycling or triathlon.
This store is the best! I was ready for a major bike upgrade and immediately upon meeting the owner, James, I knew I wouldnt buy my bike anywhere else. I had the most thorough fitting, the best customer service and overall a fabulous bike buying experience. The TriBella team has helped me get fully equipped with the right gear for my first 1/2 Ironman. I cant say enough good things about Tri Bella.
Not only good for triathletes but any road biking gear, bikes and accessories as well!
I cannot say enough great things about this shop. Ive gotten to know the owners, Liz and James, and their great employees, Chris, Justin, etc., so well over the years. They go out of their way for their customers and have even opened up their shop when they were closed when I had a bike emergency. I trust them implicitly and I never feel like they are trying to push me to buy their products. Instead they give honest opinions to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. I live on the other side of town and yet it is worth the drive to go to Tribellas.
The service and products here are top notch and at a great price. James and Liz go above and beyond to fit you in the bike and accessories that are the best for you. Such an amazing place.
The people who run the store are super nice, and they sell good, quality products. I had to return a swimming suit top for a different size, and there was no issue at all. I will definitely visit these guys before any other store for my sporting needs.
Had to rush my wifes bike into TriBella to be fixed before the weekend race because Dicks sports screwed it all up the night before. Was fixed fast and professionally! Highly recommend this place.
First, the good...John the manager is so nice, personable & made excellent recommendations. Sean at the Denver Fit Loft gave me an awesome bike fit on my new Ventum. Im never been so comfortable on a long ride. Awesome! Now, for the bad...I brought my $13K brand new bike to them for a build. Based on the reviews here, and having taken my old bike here a few years ago for a tune up in the past I decided to try them again. My fit was completed at 5:30pm on a Fri. The mechanic, who is also the owner, needed to make a few adjustments based on the fit & finish the build. He recommended that I dont cut a piece at the top for better resale value, but that would have meant that all of the wiring on my super bike would have been exposed w/out the top cover that would be missing if that part of the bike wasnt cut down to fit my specific measurements. It seemed odd to me, & I was at a loss for words, & finally Sean said that it needed to be cut down. I was happy that he spoke up. That change took James an extra 30 min & I wondered if he was just eager to leave on a Fri night. Had he just told me that because my fit was later that he would need to finish in whatever time-frame he needed then I would have been okay w/that. Im in customer service I certainly understand that its not all about me.I took my bike home, eager to ride the following am. As I left to ride I went 20 feet & realized that I couldnt shift at all. What?!? I went back in the house & changed bikes. I called the store when they opened to tell them & they recommending me bringing my bike back, which is not exactly convenient. I did my ride on my other bike & brought the bike back that afternoon. They originally told me that it may be about 45 minutes & it turned into me waiting for over 1 hr, only to be told to leave it there because a wire on my shifters was pinched & it would take more time to fix.I ride my Cervello on my trainer during the week. So I only rode my Ventum 8 times. Then I was riding on a Sat. on a training ride. 55 minutes into my 3 hour ride & was going down a hill. All of the sudden I hear a loud noise, my wheel stops, I cant pedal, the back of my bike fishtails and I quickly try and break and then unclip. Its a miracle that I didnt crash. When I look to assess what happened with my bike, my entire derailer fell into the spoke of my BRAND NEW Enve wheels & there are 3 spokes completely broken. I had no idea how that happened or what exactly went wrong.I called my coach who is a very experienced bike mechanic (used to work as a mechanic in a bike shop for 10 years,) previous Cat 1 cyclist & regular AG winner in the 70.3 and Ironman distance. His exact words were that, There is NO way that could have happened if the limit switch was adjusted at the time that the bike was built. I proceeded to ask follow-up questions to ensure that I was not at all at fault because people are quick to blame when they dont want to be responsible for costs associated w/their mistakes. I asked 3 other mechanics at 3 other shops & they confirmed the same info. When I called James, his response wasnt even empathetic. It was I dont see how this could have happened. Ive never heard of this. Because its been over 90 days we cant be responsible He also said that the problem with the Ceramic Speed detailers is that its not meant to be used with the Shamano components. None of that was disclosed to me at the time of build. I spent over $2000 in the shop only to be told, Sorry for your problem, with not the tiniest bit of empathy that my new $2500 wheel was broken & my $800 derailer was ruined after less than 10 rides. I will never return here. Im lucky that their negligence didnt cause a horrific crash that day because had I not been very experienced rider w/12 yrs of bike handling skills something worse would have likely happened. In summary...if youre buying shoes or getting a fit - go for it! I wouldnt trust anything to the mechanic.
Took great care of my personal needs! Had everything I would have needed for a well rounded price. Staff were friendly, and the store was well kept.
James and Liz are fantastic. My wife and I bought two Pinarellos from them recently. The purchase comes with a professional fitting and lifetime adjustments. We were very impressed by the knowledge, level of professionalism, and quick service. Couldnt imagine shopping anywhere else.
Superb customer service and and overall very welcoming vibe permeates the store. Definitely worth a visit to see what they have to offer.
I am new to road biking, in fact, I didn’t even know what a saddle was until today. I went into this store because I am in the process of buying a bike from a frequent customer of Tribella. Tribella was servicing this bike before I purchased it from this customer, but John spent about 30 - 45 mins with me going over this bike, from sizing, to fit, to stem length, etc. There is no sale to be had, no profit to be made for Tribella, but he took time to help me and educate me about this bike. True customer service and kindness seem to be a thing of the past, but not at this place. Tribella has my business from today on and my next bike purchase will be form this store. Can’t express enough how impressed I am with this store.
Tribella is AWESOME!!! They provide the best service, and you wont have to worry about the people here ripping you off even if you dont know a lot about bikes or bike maintenance. Best bike shop in Denver by far.
James was a great mechanic (and store owner). He helped me to dial in my bike setup and provided great background on my options.
World class service customized for a first class experience.
Great customer service. Amazing staff.I strongly recommend this place.
Friendly and helpful staff!!
It is quite possible that I went to every bike store in Denver. I *thought* I had decided on a bike until I wandered into Tribella. Not only was James patient with my questions, but they had, IN STOCK, bikes for me, in my size whereas other places were trying to talk me into a mens bike or Id have to wait for them to special order my frame size. Im 58 - Im not abnormally tall so I struggled to understand why inventory in Denver wasnt better for womens bikes. I test rode bikes until I found one thata was just perfect. No pressure sell - just education, information. Bought my bike on Saturday and used it on Sunday for a 55-mile ride - the best ride of my life - perfectly perfect!
Great bike buying experience - I went into the store to see what they had (not thinking they had a lot to choose from in the mens section but was very happily surprised at the selection & options). I tried 2 great bikes and James fit me for different handlebar heights - he spent a lot of time with so that I could get a great feel for the bikes. I didnt expect to choose a bike so quickly but it was such a enjoyable experience with James & Liz - I went back to buy a new Pinnerallo & would recommend Tribella to any & all friends. Def go by Tribella if you want a great bike buying experience and service that is top notch. Thank Tribella.
Most trusted people in the biz. I send everyone there.
Great bike and tri shop.
Best bike shop in Denver!
