Ordered a shower online and had it shipped to the store. Took a month and a half from the day I ordered to when it was delivered to the store. It is NOT the same shower that I ordered. The one I received has an ugly tile looking texture. I’m extremely disappointed because we have no choice but to keep it since the shower I ordered is no longer in stock and we don’t have time to wait another month or however long it would take to get another shower in the size we need. Very frustrating. Would appreciate if Home Depot had better customer service and give a partial refund but no, we would have to return the shower to get a refund.

They dont answer the phone. They do not help inside the store when you ask. I think the customer service needs improvement.
These people have jerked my parents around for the entire summer saying theyd get countertops installed for them. Now my elderly parents have no countertops in their kitchen because Home Depot doesnt check in on their contractors. The contractor that was supposed to do the countertops went out of business! Ill be complaining to the BBB about this experience. Horrible service and follow up. Poor communication. Save yourself time and money and dont use their contractor services.
This is a great place for anyone wanting to do some Home Improvement or just some side projects. There is pretty much anything you would need for your home here, you can go on their website and see where anything is located within the store.

Massive selection of items for DIYers along with landscape needs or household repair or updating. My wife always thinks they have the best flowers and shrubs. We had to get materials for repair work on my sons lake property & indeed they had everything he needed at present. Parking is always easy in their massive lot.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The price for the dehumidifier we bought was reasonable.
In the Duluth Minnesota went to order baseboard covers for hot water heat. I knew the parts snd just needed someone to key in the items so I could get a bill to pay. Went to window treatments (where I ordered the first time a few months ago) and was told “go to plumbing.” When I tried to explain I was told again go to plumbing - so I did. The person in plumbing said “nope, can’t help you I need a designer.” When I explained I just needed to order parts, he reiterated no designer, no order. I reiterated and that was it. He said “no.” And I said the F word. I went back to window coverings and was helped this time by Becky. Becky asked if she could help and I told her my issue. She said “ok” and rang me up. Then she took me to see Linda at the check out. Those two were amazing. I spent 750.00 dollars today. There is not a chance that I would have come back to buy that if the two guys that were working were my only options again. Menards or lowes would have taken my money. Because of the excellent customer service by Becky and Linda I will go back,
We managed to find a dishwasher here, when we had been unsuccessful in a couple of other stores. So we bought a few more things there for our project. The sales staff and the associate who loaded in our truck were all very helpful.

This home depot is useful since its nearby for us, and Im glad we have one here in Duluth. However, I generally find more of the things Im looking for at Menards. Customer service here is different from day to day. Sometimes youll get someone stellar, sometimes not so much. Garden center usually has some good stuff especially in Spring. For general hardware theyre lacking in some things, like they just dont have a full array of different sizes on some pieces. Overall, its decent.
Did not recognize military discount on a portable ice maker. Cashier says it happens on alot of items. I will stick with Lowes next time that support Vets better.
Home Depot is a wonderful place to get what you need. Especially Jeff in the lumber area. He went out of his way to make me happy. I hope his boss rewards him. Hes the best. Ill come back there for sure.
Home Depot is nice place to shop, especially I love garden section. Associates are friendly, place sparkling clean and whenever I ordered something online, I always got it on time and in excellent condition. Would highly recommend.

One of the worst places to do buisness with. I am a general contractor and a customer. They provide the worst service. If you are thinking about special ordering anything, DONT!!!!!!!!!!They screw every order up. Tell you it’ll be in a certain time, then come up with an excuse why it’s not in. Lose your order. 1/2 the order comes in.If you can get it in their shelf it’s fine. But if you are thinking about any special orders, stay far away. They will lie to your face and tell you an eta and it’s not even close and they even know that it’s not coming in at that time or even close. They lie to you for the buisness. They know once you do special order and pay for it, there’s nothing you can do about it.Then they lll even have the audacity to ask you to give them a 5 star review and then they’ll work out their issues
Home Depot is the store we shop at the most having so many projects and construction going on. Prices cant be beat and the selection is always just right. Online shopping is easy too and a great way to keep track of your purchases and wish lists:)
Helpfull People... Its like they want to talk to you and help unlike certain unnamed establishments, but they either dont know where things are or purposely send you on a wild goose chase... Either way they are on a mission with you to find help.

Very disappointing, they appeared not to have the item I requested in Stock even though their website said it was when I put in the store number during a online search before arrival. When I asked at the help desk, 2 CS reps behind desk looked at each other and said if I cant find it on floor the item is out of stock. Made no attempt to look it up on their in house computers, just sent me on my way. I thought a Home Depot would be different in another state than my own, but same pattern of poor service extends beyond state borders.
Home Depots in MN are the cleanest and friendliest that I have ever been in.

Ive had that happen here...often. and the check out might be self checkout but Debra helped me check out my whole cart out of courtesy my last visit. Its well stocked, staff is knowledgeable, but I was a little disappointed as I went to get new outdoor chairs and what I viewed on the website was not available in the store.
The staff is great, always there to lend a hand, for me anytime Ive asked questions instead of pointing where to go theyve walked me to said locale. If I would offer a suggestion dont get me wrong I totally understand I have a certain look to me; 63 250lbs long hair & multiple tats, but u know old saying never judge a book by its cover... Its happened a few times where I have been followed very closely and watched every thing I did. I have never stolen anything in my life, so its hurtful & plain disrespectful being treated like I will or have done so in the past.

Where to begin - We asked for a quote from Home Depot as we needed to replace the carpet on 2 levels of our home. The first measurer who came out missed some things that I caught after they emailed a quote to me so they had to send another guy out to remeasure. When they sent me the second quote it had the wrong carpet on it so they had to re-do it again. I wish we would have walked away at that point but everyone makes mistakes so we let them continue. We were now more than 2 weeks into the process and finally had a valid quote that actually looked pretty attractive considering the free installation, free furniture moving, among other things stated in the agreement. When we chose to accept the proposal we were contacting by Kimber who let us know they were 6 weeks out to install, not convenient but understandable. She was very pushy and informed us that she was only scheduling the installers for one day and that we should have all of the rooms completely cleared for them because they really arent furniture movers anyway. What? We are a hard working couple in our mid-fifties so our backs arent what they used to be but we wanted to make sure everything was done since we had a houseful of relatives coming the following weekend so we moved every bit of furniture and everything from all of the rooms out onto our 2 decks. I even pulled up some of the carpet. Seth, the installer was rude from the second I greeted him at the front door. He acted like he had a hot date at 3:00 or something and all he wanted to do was the bare minimum he had to and get out as fast as possible. He told me he wouldnt have time to do the stairs and they would have to schedule another day to do them. When I called Kimber she said the very soonest they could come back would be July 13th, exactly 4 weeks away! There was no compassion whatsoever and no apologies for the inconvenience. I said I cant wait that long and will have to hire someone else to do the stairs so I wanted a partial refund for the stairs and for us not getting the free furniture moving as stated in the agreement. She refused. We were already 2 months into this thing and they wanted to now delay another month. Seth left the carpet and pad with me for the stairs and headed on his way. So to recap: 1) Multiple botched estimates and quotes 2) They did not touch one piece of furniture or other of our possessions, 3) Did not do our steps even though it was in the bid and we moved all of the furniture for them so it could get done in one day 4) Rude installer with absolutely no people skills 5) Left a horrible mess 6) Refused to refund any money even though they did not fill their end of the agreement. I must say Seths assistant was fantastic, hard working, pleasant, and friendly. Its too bad hes working with a guy who couldnt care less about pleasing the customer or doing the right thing as agreed. Never again.
Ok,so 8 months ago, i gave 5 stars since they’re all helpful. But this time i was so disappointed with how the they made me wait for my appliance i ordered a month and half ago.They told me they tried to deliver but got the wrong item so they had to go back and check.I waited another week for them to figure out, but nobody called back, i had to ask again and wait for their reasoning many times.I badly need it that’s why i waited that long but ended up cancelling it or what?? Wait forever??pls you guys should do better coz youve caused too much inconvenience for us.

Clean but lack of friendly staff...when I finally found someone to guide me to the 1 product I was there to purchase he wasnt to eager to help. Realistically I should have been in/out in 7-8 minutes but it took that long walking back & forth to find help. After 23 minutes I was back in my vehicle.

Ive always appreciated the quality of thier products. I think they are totally awesome supporting the community in time or need. I wish they would not weasel out during delivery time... Oh you have to set that up install seperately. I thought I was very clear this time (husband and mother in law with me to witness what I was told) .. NOPE Done with them for now! Refused delivery... Have to wait a few days to get refund, why UPDATE: WILL BE WEEKS BEFORE I GET THE REFUND THOUGH IT NEVER LEFT THE TRUCK.
Tried ordering a 3 different lawn tractors. On my attempt to purchase a 4th mower I waited 20 minutes in store for help before I left. Still wanting to get a mower I went online again. Ordered a riding mower and bagger and paid via check card. Was online with customer er service arranging delivery. Had delivery dates scheduled. When first delivery date passed I went online to check status. Found my order was canceled, but not by my request. Went to L&M Fleet supply and saved money on a better rider. Will never darken the doors of HD again.

Aisles are always crowded with boxes, you can never find anyone to help you if you have a question, and curbside is ridiculously slow. I waited over 20 minutes to have my package brought out to the car.

Not overly impressed with the layout of the store, more so the lack of organization on the pallet racking. I went in to pick up a freezer and I was misinformed on the brand and size of what they said they had. The one they had was of good quality so I was able to buy it. They say they offer a military discount so I asked at the desk and they said yes we do then turned around and said no military discount for this item. This store does have good products I just dont care for the setup of the store.

Patrick the store manager has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Long time customer just lost due to the profiling done by the cashier and the then how the GM handled is was by far the worst of it! Extremely disappointed in this location will no longer be Home Depot customer wish I could give no stars to this location.

I try to shop at Home Depot as they offer a nice selection but the staff is hard to find plus inexperienced. On-floor customer service is very disappointing versus Menards.

Home Depot is staple in the Home Improvement Area. They are good place to go.This trip wasnt great but there was great customer service. The problem was with a ventor, not with HD. However, HD is working on resolving the issue.

I went to Home Depot to have some carpet install in my new garage that has an upstairs area that we will be living in while our house is being built. I picked out some carpet and scheduled the measuring of the space. They were able to measure the next day which was great. The service was good until I got a call from the salesman that my garage space was going to be considered a commercial space which means a non-conventional install and no free install like advertised. Instead of it being $2,500 he said the price could be upwards of $6,000 now (AKA they dont want to do it). This is a residential garage, not a commercial space. We are not running a business our of our garage, just storing our vehicles. Very bad service from Home Depot for no good reason. Order #H2817-94036

Just went here for the first time and was really pleased to find ALL the staff to be friendly and helpful. Saul, in particular, helped find and cut all my dimensional lumber and plywood panels. Im impressed with this place.

I have had good luck with Home Depot. They have readily replaced merchandise damaged during shipping and accepted returns without hesitation. They sometimes carry nicer items than Menards although on identical items prices at Home Depot run a bit higher. Home Depots app is way better than Menards for locating items in store. The only problem I have had was with items that shipper said were delivered but never arrived at my house. I dont know if the package was taken or delivered elsewhere. Home Depot did not help me with this one, referred me to the delivery service who also did not help and I ended up taking the loss.
Got a kitchen designed by a designer at Home Depot in Duluth, MN. I gave them the right measurements. The designer put in the wrong measurements, designed the kitchen with the wrong measurements and ordered the cabinets. Now they’re telling me they won’t fix the problem. I don’t normally get upset about things, but this has me losing my s**t. I will never go to Home Depot for services, large orders or anything else besides stuff I can buy right in the store. We spent a lot of money on these cabinets and they’re not even willing to fix their mistake.

Josiah was polite and answered all of my questions the only thing he couldnt answer rather than bs me he looked it up and had my answer. The only hardware / home improvement / tool store in my area that had a propane torch in stock. The price was quite good also.

Im from California, and it seems all stores are going through some changes due to the pandemic closers. I would have only one reservation to this Home Depot in Duluth is that they need to consider hiring more well seasoned employees that have experience in the field of construction, and in the customer service desk department.I did return which would have taken at the most 5 minutes, but it seemed the rep. was inexperienced in processing a simple store credit and it took over 15 minutes to finish my return.Most Home Depots do a great job with customer service. My only reservation would be they need better training to improve the efficiency of the service.I will still shop Home Depot.
When checking out one of the items didnt ring up at the sale price. Cashier came over and overrode the price so we got the listed sale price. Overall a great experience!
Horrible experience. Called ahead to see if they had a certain model of a grill in stock and to see if they would price match the retailers website. The individual I spoke with stated that they did have the grill in stock and that they would happily price match. Drove to the location I called to purchase grill. Upon arrival, the grill was not in stock. The individual helping me said that I could purchase online and that the customer service representative would help me with the price match. When we got to the customer service station the representative was very rude and indicated they wouldnt price match. Left disappointed and wishing that customer service still existed. Ended up purchasing directly from the manufacturer and didnt have to deal with grumpy employees.
Ordered a framing nailer 3 January. Was told it would be in 11 January, finally arrived 15 January. Never received a call that it was in. Had to call the store myself.

Very poor experience with getting a person to talk to, got transferred to dept 5 times with no response, last time it cycled back to customer service they hung up on me. Hire some people and answer your damn phone, its not rocket science. 4-9-21, 910am.

Bought appliances through them with free delivery and free installation. Was told it would be delivered on December 4th. December 4th comes and no call or update. I had to call and find out it was delayed over 2 weeks, and they could not promise it would be available then.My biggest problem with it is I was told the appliance would be available on the fourth, even with COVID issues. Cancelled my order and found a local place that delivered same day. I was also told my refund would take 3-5 days, its been 7 days and no refund, and nobody to tell me why.
Shopping was fine until Checkout.their machine wouldnt read the chip. The sales person said...oh alot of people are having issues. Try again...if it wont read after 3 times then try swiping. Yea. My husbands and my card are flagged for fraud and Im having to go through a bunch of hassle to get it taken care of. If the machines arent working then figure it out and fix it.
