Totally disappointed as they wouldnt honor an advertised price from 2 days before on a dishwasher on their website He jacked price up by $130 & were actually discouraging that one because they didnt have anymore in stock. Salesman was showing me high end because I assume they had a lot of inventory on particular models. I asked soonest it could be installed & he was guessing 2-3 weeks instead of finding out. I was going to buy that day but it was obviously not good enough of a sale for him, so I went elsewhere
Wish I could tell the names of the counter guys who helped us, but we went a few other places first and the store is not the biggest or brightest BUT the difference is the people. They KNEW what they were selling. They didnt have to Google the items, because they KNEW them. We went about twelve thousand into kitchen appliances and they saved us thirty percent for the same products in other places.Edit weeks later:Clay, our salesman called weeks later to remind us there was a deadline on our rebate. In itself thats top notch. When he heard a piece didnt qualify on the website he called and sorted that out too. Unbelievably excellent.

I was greeted enthusiastically. However, they did not have what I needed. And they were not really able to answer a specific technical question I had, though the salesperson showed me a similar appliance thus assuring me he knew generally what I was asking about. I liked that. All in all though, it was not a more quality experience than I would have expected to have. Average.

My sister bought a top of the line Beautyrest Diamond Lux mattress. Tried to return 3 days later because the mattress sinks too far. Very uncomfortable for them. 30 days later and more phone calls they will still not take the mattress back. Dont buy from this store they do not stand by their product!
I have never taken the time to write a review and it takes a-lot to upset me. I will never do business with this place again! Horrible customer service and technicians. Tried paying my bill over the phone and assumed it was fine. Never heard back that they didnt get payment processed and instead of simply calling, they just sent me to collections. All over $85. Plus the technician failed to fix my washer and then left it in parts after he said he would get it back to the way it was, which was working. I highly suggest staying far away from this overpriced scam of a business!!
I called for a service visit. Things changed and I no longer needed a visit but just a over the phone estimate. A quote was emailed to me and they charged me $98 for that. I called to ask to have it reversed since I was not told a emailed estimate costs $98 and I never gave them permission to charge my card. They had it on file from the previous 11 years worth of business I have given them. The owner Scott said he charges for estimates and would not change his mind. He then hung up on me. Needless to say they will not be getting any more of my business.
Do not use their repair services. The tech does not go above and beyond what was already done in the diagnosis. I had already checked my washing machine drain hose and filter, no electrical checks. Tech made a $100.00 guess. I was advised it would be several days before estimate. Then several weeks before repair. I had it repaired myself before they called with estimate.
They do not honor their service agreements. They are the service providers for GE, LG and other brands. However, they only allow their service techs to provide service in very specific situations. If they cant be true to their contractual agreements with other businesses, why do you think they would with you?
If I can give 0, would do so. The receptionist was not at all respectful and polite. They came in to estimate dryer repair at my house. Only estimate, took less than 10 min, and I got bill for $95. I do not believe this is a fair bill just for estimate the repair.

Not the best experience. Stove showed up on time, but came with the wrong plug. Delivery fellas, albeit nice guys, were clear that they werent the right guys to champion a cure and advised me to call in and set up another install time. Ok. That did work. I also bought a hood and was told that they would have charcoal filters for me to pick up when they were in stock (I offered to pick them up). One of the hoods bulbs was non-functional. I wrote a few times and called twice. No response.
Sales person seemed uninterested. No welcoming comment.
Do not buy from this vendor!!! If your appliance happens to work and you never need any service, consider yourself very lucky. We bought brand new washer/dryer set in September and one of them has never worked and is a significant safety hazard as it never turns off and runs endlessly (a speedqueen dryer). This thing could burn our house down and Daughertys could care less. Weve had two technicians out from Daughertys and neither was able to fix it, and it is now mid november. They have refused to exchange the dryer, and now they are stonewalling us. Wish i would have looked at google reviews prior to purchasing as reports like this one against daughertys are pervasive! On top of all that the owner (older guy named scott) is rude and abusive to his customers. Time for small claims court! Do yourselves a favor and avoid daughertys at all cost!Update 11/18/20: After working our way through the manufacturers (Alliance Corp) warranty program, they have advised that this dangerous dryer should be replaced, as was requested initially after two unsuccessful tech visits by Daughertys. But get this: Alliance says a resolution to this issue has been delayed because Daughertys has refused to cooperate with the manufacturers recommendation that the unit be replaced. To help expedite a solution, Alliance Corp. has asked a competing distributor (whom has agreed) to come out and remove and replace the defective unit. Thanks Alliance!We have a lot of respect for and make efforts to patronize small, family orientated businesses. They are vital to our communities short and long-term sustainability. Last year, the wife bought all our x-mas gifts locally. Its one reason of the reasons I didnt hesitate to purchase from Daughertys but its also why the situation we find ourselves in is so disappointing!Update: 12/8 Still no replacement dryer or refund. Claims filed!
Spent $5200.00 at this store for a variety of appliances and asked the salesman to deliver and install so that they were functional. The delivery guys showed up and did a good job placing the units but said they did not have the venting for the dryer or the hose to hook up the ice machine for the refrigerator. I called the store and got nothing but argument from the start. They said they would come out for another $95 plus cost of equipment and labor.. The problem is I specifically asked for working appliances and would have paid for it up front. Their argumentative approach to service is my beef now!! Im kicking myself for this problem because I read on line they had poor service but I went with my sisters recommendation anyway. I will not shop there again and am on my own with the new appliances. I hope they are better made than the service I received from this store.12/21/2018 Update: Since I wrote the above review I have had several discussions with the store manager who turned out to be more than reasonable and he made good on all the problems I had. I did not think that would be the case when I started but I misjudged them. I will give them a 4 star rating . I hope this helps anyone who reads this. I am satisfied with the appliances!!

They got what you might need but some more knowledge on prices could help at least a base average price on items . When some one asked on line about the microwave they asked for prices. give the least price to the most .. not there are many brands . . All prices different . . That more like get off your phone and answer the question. .. but that is just my opinion .

Tried to schedule a service call for my dishwasher but when trying to read back the model number to the lady setting up the appointment, she was very rude when she couldn’t understand what numbers and letters I was saying. I tried to read it back but she was so impatient and kept interrupting me. Asked to speak with someone else but she ignored my request. Horrible customer service!!!!!!Edit: Just called Johnson Mertz instead and read off the same serial number and model number. The agent had no trouble understanding. Perfect customer service! Use Johnson not Daugherty from now on!

The first thing you should know is that they are going to charge you for a diagnostic fee before they make a repair. They wont tell you this upfront. I had them come out to repair a washer that I thought had something caught between the inner and outer drum. They arrive with no tools, no parts, and no intention of fixing the problem. It ended up being an $80 visit for them to tell me that, indeed, I had something caught between the inner and outer drum. The second thing you should know about is their apparent lack of competence. After the 10 minute, $80 diagnosis, they call me to say that Id be better off buying a new washer (which theyd be happy to sell to me) because based on their diagnosis it would be an exorbitant cost to repair. So considering my options I elect to have another look at the washer myself (mind you Im no handyman). You can imagine both my frustration and relief when I found that there was an object caught between the drum face and the door boot seal that had been causing the issue. This didnt even take loosening a screw to find it...only a flashlight and a bit of curiosity. So I removed the object with my fingers and the washer was good as new. Had I taken their advice I would have been out a perfectly functioning washer and theyd have been into me for hundreds more for a new one. To cap it all off they wouldnt refund the diagnostic fee and have since neglected to return several phone calls to discuss this with their management. Daugherty will not earn my business in the future (hopefully yours either).
Went in on a Saturday afternoon, we walked in with no greeting just a blank stare from the person behind the counter. We ran into the salesman from the commercials walking around with another group, he wasnt engaged with them and yet still no greeting to us or saying he would be with us after. Disappointing selection of higher end appliances and well maybe they can order them and have great prices we will never know because I wont be back.
My wife bought a new washer and dryer here while I was out of town for work. She was sold on their “service” and the all-inclusive warranty. A few months ago the new washer started leaking on the floor every time we ran it. She made a service call and the technician came while I was at work and my wife was tending to our new baby. The technician “Couldn’t find anything wrong with it;” despite the fresh water stains on the floor. Daugherty’s then sent us an invoice for $70 for the call out because nothing was wrong, and the manufacturer will not reimburse them if nothing is wrong. We have both called to argue, they have stood their ground, and now they are taking us to collections. Why would we make a service call if there was no issue?? We have nothing to benefit from doing that. How do we know the technician didn’t fix or tighten a hose while my wife wasn’t looking? Daugherty’s has lost a customer; and I have been steering others away from shopping here and will continue to do so.

These people are total rip off merchants and liars! I had a control panel go out on our general electric oven and when I asked about a replacement I was told that it was now discontinued and that I would have to buy a brand new oven for almost $3700. I did my own investigation online and found the said part and installed myself for a grand Total of $145. Stay well clear of these people, I cannot stress that enough! 1 star is way too much for these cheats!
The staff at Daugherty Appliance Sales was wonderful while helping my husband and I plan for and choose a new refrigerator. The one in our home was old and having issues. After talking with Kathy we chose the fridge we really wanted instead of being stuck with something lesser due to price at the big box store on the hill. We were honest about where we were shopping, what we could afford to spend, and what our needs were and they helped us pick an great product. The fridge was delivered within the week and the delivery men where prompt, kind, and even brought their sense of humor. Weve had the fridge a little over a month and we have save about $40 in electricity and we havent thrown out any produce or meats due to spoiling. Thanks for all the help. We are thrilled with the purchase.

I purchased an Amana refrigerator from this store in December of 2017, it was making a strange noise so the tech came out and ordered a part. Not long after he left, it stopped working. It was too late to get anyone at Daughertys. I called Amana who was able to walk me through a reset and got it going. I called the service department to cancel a request for service and the tech still stopped by to check in with me to make sure all was well. While I was unhappy about the lost food, I appreciated the tech taking the time to stop and check in with me. While some previous contacts have no been as positive, this one was.

I walked in 25 minutes before closing time. The young man gave me the rundown on the different dishwashers gave a couple recommendations and a few strong considerations based on our situation. We made the purchase and it was installed in less than 48 hours.
Not much help picking appliance, store was closed on a Saturday during posted hours and no notice on door or phone. When owners son was asked about it just said..yeah we closed at 2:30. No concern or explanation. I went out of my way to buy from this local business and am left feeling like I overpaid and they could care less if I buy from them or not.
Do NOT buy from this store or these people! Very unethical business! Their speciality is the ol bait-and-switch. They put out an ad including great prices on appliances they dont carry and cant get it in order to get you in the door then they upsell you into something else. I went there to buy a stove that was listed in their website AND on the paper flyer mailed out AND was a flyer even on the counter in their store. They didnt have the stove, never had the stove, and werent going to get the stove. And they made no effort to even hide that fact, admitting it completely. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere because if you cant even buy the appliance without them trying to cheat you, then how likely is it that any part of your transaction, appliance, delivery, or warranty will be honest, ethical or respectful!
