Visited this practice back in 2016, and again today. Dr. Gottlieb is phenomenal. He takes time to explain everything to you and you dont feel rushed. The lady who first assisted me with my eye measurements and such was super sweet and personable. The gentleman that assisted me in choosing frames was great, thorough, and went over everything detail by detail - including my exact benefits under my insurance which was nice. Working with numbers for a living, this is something I greatly appreciated. Front desk staff was great, everyone super friendly (just as when I visited in 2016). THANK YOU ALL!! 5 STAR SERVICE!!

Great visit.. my eye was bothering me and the doctor reassured me and got me fixed up. Excellent customer service, very friendly staff and the doctor was extremely professional. I recommend this place if you got eye issues.

The best customer service I have ever had from any place I have ever been to. I am so excited and overjoyed about my experience at Sharper Vision. This was my first visit and I was totally impressed from Patty at the front desk, to the Ashley the assistant in the back, Dr. G was so awesome and patient and Lauren who helped me pick out my new glasses and contacts and explained to me how my insurance worked. I shared a laugh with everybody in the office. They are all so inviting.

What is the point of having an online portal to make appointment with selected times when they never honor it. I have tried to make an appointment twice online and each time i get an email saying the office will be closed or the appointment is not available....so why was I given the option to select the time and day that was convenient for me in the first place? and the office each time did not even have the courtesy to call to speak with me to try and reschedule.Ill be making an appointment elsewhere, since some businesses dont know the practice of Good customer service

I had a great experience for my first eye exam in years. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Mark was very informative and amiable as well. I would definitely recommend Sharper Vision!

This place is horrible. The first visit shouldve been a red flag, but i like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Where should i start...... Well the visit with the doctor wasnt that bad, however; his office manager, sales rep, and receptionist are from the pits of hell. These people are not only thieves they are also liars. These people allowed one of their workers to steal my glasses and still expected me to pay for them. They reordered my glasses without my consent and lied to the BBB and my bank on what really happened and why i did not want to further communicate with them. I also found out they over charged me. Patty i believe thats her name.....told me that my insurance does not cover my frames each year.Hmm....come to find out they do. So you all over charged me why?..... One of the reps that was standing behind Patty on the day i was choosing my glasses told me and my fiance that she got the same glasses. So tell me why when she quit....and the glasses got missing? Hmm..... Instead i kept getting phone calls asking me did i pick up my glasses...negative. They do not have me on camera or signing for my glasses, so why are you calling me about my glasses. Instead of trying to cover the last girl that was there. Just tell me that glasses are missing, apologize, talk to me like you have some sense on the phone, try to use your so called customer service skills. Instead Patty yelled at me on the phone (while my co-worker is sitting right beside me, which was embarrassing). I will not ever in my life ever come to this place again. If you want your money and merchandise to be stolen....you have found the right place.

The staff here are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Dr. Gottlieb likes to talk with his patients about their lives and follow up with them in future visits, a nice personal touch. The front desk is very courteous and helpful with sign in and insurance questions. The optical staff are WONDERFUL if you need assistance deciding on a pair of glasses! Not only will they listen to your desires and price range, they will provide honest feedback on how it looks. Ive been coming here for years and never have buyers remorse. I recommend Sharper Vision to anyone, but because of this convenience I especially recommend it to glasses wearers.

Ive been seeing Dr. Gottlieb at Sharper Vision since about 1997. I know when I come here I will get a very thorough eye exam using the latest testing technology. I feel very comfortable that my eyes are in good hands.They provide expert help in selecting which options are best for me from the latest available lens technologies, as well as excellent help with frame selection, adjustment, etc., all in a comfortable, friendly setting.Sharper Vision has been consistently excellent in all the years Ive known them.

Dr. Gottile was pretty awesome. He and his staff paid attention to details. He spent the appropriate time and I see better than ever. Was an awesome experience considering other places Ive been and I couldnt see out of my glasses. He listened to what I said and I can see better than my last 3 pair. Dr. G is the best!!!! This review is looooong over due. During the end of the year, I was sick and travelling. By the time the New Year hit, one of my eyes looked as though I had pink eye. At the time, i had no insurance because I recently quit my job and moved to Duluth area. I first went to a minute clinic and was prescribed a medicine I was having an allergic reaction to. I tried to inform them of the reaction but the only response from them was that I needed to pay another 100 for them to tell me that I needed to give the medicine time to work and stay consistent with the application. Well, the pinkness spread to my other eye (because I was also putting the medicine in that eye in hopes to prevent spread of pink eye and not knowing I was having an allergic reaction). Well, after two days of unbearable pain and completely losing my sight, I paid to be seen by urgent care. They confirmed my allergy but then over prescribed me three overpriced medicines that also worsen the condition. The only relief I had was for docs to numb my eyes. YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO IMAGINE THE PAIN I WAS GOING THROUGH!!! Because of this pain, my bf decided to seek an eye doc because what could be worse than what I was already going through. He happened to find Dr. G at Sharper Vision ( who was open on New Years Day). The office manager could hear desperation in my bf voice and advised him to come in immediately. Though my eyes are atrocious and in pain. They tried to accommodate me the best they could. They closed the blinds where I was sitting to make my eyes more comfortable (its the little things =) ). Turns out, the sinus infection I had at the end of the yr spread to my eyes not pink eye (which was always weird for to grasp)! Dr. G took great care of me and I was able to regain my sight within a week time! He was very cost efficient and cared! Those are two great qualities. I will continue to recommend him. He is completely awesome! Id bet my sight on it!

This place is AWESOME. I used to go to Walmart then to visionworks to get my eye exam and glasses/contacts until I found Sharper Vision. They staff is amazing and Dr. G is wonderful! He answered all my questions and was very nice. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to see as clearly as I’m able to now since getting my exam done here. Also, THANK YOU JOSHUA!!! I wasn’t so convinced with any of the eye glasses on display and you went the extra mile and looked in the back do frames that fit my face PERFECTLY. I so appreciate all of you!!! (Also this review is a little late because I got my exam and glasses in like March. I just don’t write reviews ever.) You guys have definitely earned a forever client!! :) **I forgot to add that they were super helpful in working with me to understand my benefits and they made sure I got all the perks I was entitled to!!

While the doc was knowledgeable the office manager took out benefits on me without my permission. They charged for extra services to the insurance and would not release my daughters benefits when we decided to go elsewhere. I had to get insurance involved. They called it fraud.

I took my frames here and had lenses cut today! I must say, I was impressed! My glasses were done in 30 minutes! There was a bit of miscommunication a couple of days ago. I went in today, Teena and Paula were so helpful and caring! Will defiantly come back! Dr. Gottleib even came out to meet before I left.

Dr. Gottlieb is the reason I go to this practice, he is very thorough and tweaks my prescription to where Ive had the best vision in years. 20/20! You may have to wait but assuming its reasonable duration its worth it, no other practice tried as many different brands/methodologies of contacts till I got the perfect fit!

Ive been coming here for a two to three years and Im sad to say I will not return. Every time I come, I wait for an hour or so. I spoke with the operations manager and she basically argued with me as to why I had to wait so long. She told me they were on the phone for an hour dealing with a scam. Not sure what that has to do with the doctor?! She was very rude and argumentative. They expect their co-pay on time, I expect my doctor on time. Dr Gottlieb is the only one saving that operation with his personable services, but Im sad to say I wont be returning.

Dr. Gottlieb is extremely professional, attentive and patient. He didn’t make me wait another minute. A technician was also very professional and kind.Very pleased with my experience, will definitely come back in a year for another eye exam and will recommend to my friends.

Sharper Vision was wonderful! Came in and quickly got called back. The office was very accommodating with my children. Annelle was great to start and Dr. Gottlieb explained everything so I understood. Teena helped me pick out fantastic new glasses and sunglasses. Will definitely be back.

Ive used a few different optometrists in the last ten years, but Sharper Vision is the friendliest, most comprehensive and least pushy that I have dealt with. I will be heading there again soon to get my new glasses, and cant wait to be treated to their courteous service. Thanks!

No back up plan when the Dr. Is off work I am thinking about switching.

I had a wonderful experience at Sharper Vision. Dr. Gottlieb provided me with a superb eye exam and explained to me everything he was doing while he tested my eyes. After my exam, his staff helped me find a stylish brand of glasses that I fell in love with. Dr. Gottlieb and his staff provided me with excellent eye care, and I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family.

Someone mentioned their and I agree....the lady made me pay for the doctor to say nothing is wrong with my eye. No claim has came to my insurance yet. Charged me 130 with no break down of services. Just a small receipt. This is unprofessional and I will be contacting my insurance and this office again.

Dr. Gottlieb is an amazing doctor who has a very personable manner and always keeps current with the latest in diagnostic testing and treatment options. The staff is very helpful and the selection of frames are fashionable and affordable.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gottlieb for many years now and they have always been very helpful and informative in relation to my eye care. They were the ones that recommended me changing to contact lenses to help me see better when participating in sports because the humidity hear in Atlanta makes it almost impossible to keep glasses clean. I have asked about Lasik surgery but they remind me that if I were to do that, I would need reading glasses for close up work and since I work on computers that would be very inconvenient. Dr. Gottliebs staff has also been very helpful in scheduling appointments as well as helping me pick out glasses when necessary.

I had a full eye exam and a contact lense fitting as I wear contacts most of the time. I had shared with Dr Gottlieb that I was having trouble with seeing both up close and far away with my multifocal contacts. He gave me a new kind of contacts to try which after wearing them home I realized they were not going to work. To make this incredibly long story as short as possible, I picked up another kind to try and they didn’t work. In the meantime, I am traveling for work, traveling to see aging, sick parents and we had a new grandson born, then throw in the holidays. I tried repeatedly to get an appointment to go back and be “refitted” and Dr Gottlieb never had an opening on the days I could go in. You have 60 days supposedly before you have to pay for another contact fitting, and when I was finally able to get in it would be 65 days so I was informed they would need to charge me. Then of course the office manager, Ashley, tells me how many samples they have given me to try as if it matters when I CAN’T SEE. I offered to pay for the samples even but it was really more about Ashley being right than it was about taking care of a customer. I just wanted to get my prescription right so I could see with my contacts. Isn’t that what we go to the eye doctor for? I won’t even go into how the person at the front gave me my glasses script and put the wrong date on it or how there is no copy of my prescription in the file because she didn’t make a copy. It’s been total madness dealing with this office. We had been seeing Dr Gottlieb from when we moved to the area last year and I even took my sister to see him while she was in town and she spent $1400 on contacts, glasses and eye exam. We’ve been good customers who had planned on being customers for a very long time. Not anymore. It’s amazing how something so simple as I just want to get the right contact prescription (I’ve been wearing contacts for 30 years) so I can see, can turn into such an issue. Oh and one last thing, I got my statement from my insurance and Sharper Vision charged me for services that my insurance paid for so I overpaid them too. But they want another $90 from me for a new contact fitting because it’s 5 days over. I’m hoping for a drama free experience with a new doctor.

Dr. Gottleib is top-notch. My husband and I have been seeing him for over 12 years now. He is very thorough, and always takes the time to explain things. Two years ago, my Endocrinologist asked me to start seeing an eye specialist due to my Type 1 Diabetes and family history of Macular Degeneration. I have done so with two different Thomas Eye Group doctors, only to be extremely disappointed with the service levels and wait time. I got better care from Dr. Gottleib and am coming back to him. He also has great hours that accommodate all work schedules. I recommend him highly.

I am writing this to share my very positive experience with my new eye doctor, Dr. Mark A. Gottlieb. First of all, let me say that his office was very nice, clean and organized. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome in their office. And then, Dr. Gottlieb. I can tell he is a soft-spoken person. He, indeed, created a very good impression on me from the start. He examined my eyes in a meticulous way, and being detail-oriented as I am, I felt extremely happy and satisfied. I feel confident to say that Dr. Gottlieb loves his job, and cares for his patients. I only want the best for my eyes, and I know I made the right decision. I cannot wait to have my new flex glasses! :) They looked really nice and super comfy on my face! :) To Dr. Gottlieb and staff, thank you so much again! More power to you! :)

I have been going to Dr. Mark Gottlieb for over 8 years and he is extremely thorough on every eye exam. He cares about getting your vision as sharp as possible while looking out for the health of your eyes.Before I found Dr. Gottlieb I used to go to Wal-Mart for my new glasses and was never satisfied with the quality of my vision. I sit in front of a computer all day and my profession demands sharp, clear vision. If you are disenchanted with the discount chains and really want to take your vision to the next level, please give Dr. Gottlieb and his team of caring staff members a try. They also carry a wide selection of frames, some of which you cannot find elsewhere.
