FINALLY !! Ive been looking for new frames for over a year at a number of shops in Duluth. Im over 65 and in most places I was either ignored or the employees were actually rude to me. Not here! They were pleasant and helpful and I actually found two new frames that I love. Stay away from Zen Optical - they were the worst. Youll be happy at Vision Pro Optical in Kenwood. The doctor was great too.

The service at Vision Pro Kenwood was awesome I got the glasses I wanted I was treated with respect and courtesy from the doctor and the staff very informed about my eye test I was very satisfied with the mannerism of the employee they explained everything to me in detail and I was very pleased

I recently had an eye exam and purchased glasses at the Kenwood office. The exam was professional and informative. I have Macular Degeneration in my family so I had a lot of questions for the doctor, he took the time to provide answers and show me the imaging of my eyes. The staff was friendly and helpful with the purchase of my new glasses. I will definitely visit them again.

Buyer BewareThe optometrist is excellent and the customer service is very good. The frame selection was impressive. I have poor vision so I always pay extra for the reduction of thickness of lenses. The lenses I received were twice as thick as my previous lenses and they caused a bubble effect in my vision. The lenses had scratches on the sides and glass fibers protruded from the lenses. I asked to return my glasses and to receive a full refund. Due to using insurance, I was informed I could not return them (at that time) and they were not sure if they could refund me my money from the purchase.

I was very impressed by the atmosphere and positive attitude as soon as I walked in the door. My wife and I were early for our appointments and they got started with us almost immediately.The ladys were very helpful and not pushy helping me pick out my frames.With everything else going on in the world it was just nice to walk in and see the smiles behind the masks.Definitely spreading the peace.

This place is amazing ♡ my daughter (two years old), has fear of anything that reminds her of the doctors office, and as a mother just wanting to get her eyes checked was tackling the toddler meltdown impossible, but the lovely workers worked wonders, and took time to color with her and distract her while I got my eye exam.Thank you so much, your kindness and understanding will never be forgotten ♡

What an amazing experience at Vision Pro Optical today. The staff was exceptional. They made me feel at home and at ease with getting my first pair of bifocals. I loved Dr. Scott Wright, he was very open with my eye health. I would recommend anyone to return anytime to any location. Thanks to the front end staff Ill be a loyal customer for years to come.

I had an eye exam there today. The doctor was great, super nice and helpful. However, the staff in the lobby aren’t great. They first told me I didn’t have any primary insurance, only one secondary. Then told me I had two secondary insurances. Then told me I had two primary insurances. Then when I had questions, they became obviously annoyed when I was confused about all of the contradictory things they had told me. One of the employees literally said to the woman who was helping me, “ I don’t know how you always get stuck with these ones” and looked right at me. Not impressed to say the least.

What a pleasure it was to go to Vision Pro Optical today. I was very nervous knowing that I would have to go from a bifocal to a trifocal. The doctor was really wonderful too me and the opticians were even better trying to show me how it would work and what to expect. I am and will always be a loyal customer. Wonderful Doctor and staff.

If a 0 were possible, Id give it. Went to Kenwood address to buy prescription glasses. Person helping me was unable to find my insurance. They confirmed only that I have annual checkups. Trusting the process of insurance searches, I then ordered glasses at the cost of 455.00The nagging issue of vision insurance led to a phone call to my provider, once I got home. They confirmed that I have coverage and called Scott at Kenwood, stating that my name was listed wrong and would simply need correction. Then, Visionpro would be able to submit my insurance. Scott and I spoke and he encouraged me to submit a claim to my provider, rather than refunding me the cost of my glasses. I took issue with this and called my provider, asking them to intervene. They called him and explained that Visionpro needed to honor my insurance, not simply put it to me to do all the leg work on refunds.Today (8 days of dancing with Scott at Kenwood), we had a conversation in which Scott gave me 2 options: 1. he could submit insurance. But I would have to wait for my reimbursement until they had money in hand. Or, 2. I could do all the leg work on reimbursement on my own! Unbelievable...I find this customer service to be unconscionable. You do not hold customer money hostage until you get insurance reimbursements. I am now forced to escalate my concerns to upper management, also filing a formal grievance with my federal, insurance provider. Buyer Beware.

This happend at the kenwood vision pro optical in Duluth Minnesota.today 02/25/2020 10:30 am I went with my husband to his appointment at vision pro and I asked about making a appointment for me an i was told I cant since my insurance wont pay for it so I simply said ok an didnt make my appointment an as I walked back I simply told my husband that looks like Ill probably have to find another place for my glasses because of my insurance because the way I understood it I thought my insurance was no longer allowing me to go there so then I sat down on the couch an the Bald guy with glasses (dont know his name) asked something about me and my insurance to the lady at the desk and I went to sit next to my husband an not even a few minutes after that he comes over an asked me if there was a problem and at the time i thought he ment like whats going on with my eye so I told him. he became very mean and rude an rasing his voice telling me You bad mouthed my company then was told Dont bad mouth my company in front of my customer an of course I was confused as I dont see how I was bad mouthing as i made a simple statement to my husband that i might have to find a new place to get glasses as I truly thought I wasnt accepted there any more as my insurance changes an a side note I have a comprehensive issue and other disabilitys that make it hard for me to understand but eaither way I did appolzie more then once, he then said that I was rude and that I need to take it up with my insurance company and I sat there crying my eyes out because I have never Met someone as mean an rude as this man!!! I ended up leaving the office because I couldnt stop crying an as i left i slipped on ice outside on there property got a cut on my leg and its swelled .... this is not the first time I had to deal with him today was just a bad day and with him being very rude to me n making me cry I dont think I will be going back to them again and I did make a complaint with my insurance about what he did as well...

If I could rate this place a 0, I would. There are 2 staff members, that are beyond rude. Joshua & Joni. October is not the most respectful either. They do not care about their customer’s needs. They do not take the time to listen to you, and put you first. They talk over you on the phone. When you tell them, that they are being disrespectful, they laugh at you. Then say even more disrespectful things. Their tone of voice is completely unprofessional. When I asked to speak with Melly, the boss, she was also rude. She talked over me as well. I asked her a question, which she refused to answer. & then told me to have a good day, and hung up on me. I was waiting to get my glasses figured out for a week and a half. They then refused service towards me, because I had too many complaints & they couldn’t provide service for me. If you would have been on my end, you would have understood.

Due to a horrible waiting time via a single staff member and the fact they wont take a work order from my work I had to go elsewhere to get my safety glasses. They attempted to upsell me an exam as well. Thankfully my work was able to find an alternative optic center that would do an express order for a set of work glasses.

Want to thank all the folks at Vision Pro in Kenwood. They have been taking care of all my vision needs for the last few years. Exams, Bifocals, Reading Bifocals, Prescription Wrap Around Sunglasses for riding my mc and Safety Glasses. Theyve done an excellent job on everything.

This place is terrible. The front staff is beyond incompetent. I selected the same contact brand Ive always gotten and asked about any rebates. They told me there was a rebate and printed off an email from their brand rep. Turns out there is no rebate and it is only on the hydroglide that is replacing the old style. After 6 calls and not a single call back. I stopped in on 12/5 and they told me it was not their problem because the manufacturer offers the rebate. Then why did they provide rebate instructions for the product i purchased and then abdicate responsibility when there was no rebate.To the owner, actually getting a call would be a miracle. You can call anytime.

I got the wrong prescription the first visit which happens especially with a boarder line stigmatism. When I went back they said my eyes dont like being corrected and gave me the same outdated prescription. Also no sinks to wash hands before taking out contacts. They have the attitude of getting through patients not giving good care.

I called to get one lense replaced. Took 3 phone calls to be told to have insurance cover it. I dropped the frames off and was told it would take 2 weeks. Three days later I got a call that it wouldnt be covered. The frames hadnt been sent in. I wont ever go here again. They wasted almost two weeks of my time.Picked up the frames and took it to VisionWorks in the mall. They approved in 20 minutes over the phone and I can pick them up in 24 hours.
