We randomly came across Cafe Crane and we are so impressed! Great espresso. The barista was kind. It’s a very warm and comforting environment, and has a different style than most coffee shops here in Idaho (in the best way!). It would be the perfect place to grab a coffee and get some work done. Definitely check this place out!

Service was good. Their 20 oz coffee only comes with two shots. A 20 oz coffee with only 2 shots is like coffee flavored milk. Lots of good coffee places in the Treasure Valley that do 4 shots with a large latte. Nice little place though.

I love Cafe Crane!Weve been coming here for years and its always great coffee with great service.Tasmyn and her staff are always very friendly, cater to their customers and are almost saints with how patient they are with unhinged customers.Also a great place to sit outside, to sip your coffee, or sit inside and play games while you enjoy your amazing food.This is the type of place that youll get greeted by name.. think Cheers but with coffee.(OK, maybe I dated myself a bit there... LOL)

Dont waste your time. No food, no straws, extremely rude service. The women in there is literally yelling at customers telling people they cant sit at certain table, yelling at a kid becausehe had no shoes on, shes unhinged. She is blaming everything on shortages but yet the Human Bean has straw, Starbucks has straws, the Dollar Store and Albertsons has straws lol. Go to the dollar store and buy some straws for your customers lady lol. This women is blaming all the short comings of her business and her personality on Covid. There are several other local businesses within 5 minutes of here that still have food, straws and service with a smile. Its not worth it, youve been warned.

Cafe Crane has always been a solid choice for a coffee and fresh baked yummies. The cinnamon rolls are a sweet treat that always taste amazing. The service is quick and friendly too! I also like the nice variety of quiches that they have. Today I opted for the Blueberry Crumble which was delicious!

Showed up at 1:55 ordered a cup of coffee was told there was no coffee available because they were closing; sign and Google says they close at 3pm. We were offered Americanos as a substitute she screwed up both the Americano orders And they were the worst Americanos we’ve ever had. Staff was also rude.

Cafe Crane serves Vita coffee which many may know from the Seattle. Where Cafe Crane really shines are their house made pastries, quiche and sandwiches, the cinnamon rolls being the star. The staff is exceptionally courteous and nice. If you happen to be in the area looking for espresso and breakfast, it is certainly worth the stop.

Great place and great coffee but the man that was working was extremely rude.. went in to conduct an interview and was met with a cold response. He basically threw my drink at me and told my mother that she should know how to order a chai. Finally he started to yell at everyone to get out so he could close. This was my first experience and the last time Ill ever be to this cafe.

Love the food & coffee & it is a good place to just chill out for a few minutes before heading to work or errands. Pretty laid back place and they get to know you & call you by name after you have been a few times ( hint--- they can see your name when you run your credit card 😉) Daily paper is available & a public restroom too. The staff are generally attentive to the customers needs.

We go here occasionally and every time I leave thinking I really need to visit more often. It is a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee and visit with friends or business associates. They always have a good assortment of delicious breakfast/brunch items and their quiches are the best I’ve had. Service is friendly and efficient.

Clean, fast and friendly- if you are in the neighborhood its a nice place to visit. Great pastries locally made. Locally owned- same owner as Moss on 9th in Boise. I hear there may be a 3rd in Meridian!

Thank god for Cafe Crane. In an otherwise fast food dominated area, cafe crane is like an oasis in a dessert of burger chains and fast sandwich deliveries. Their quiches are only second to their mountain breakfasts which are not only affordable, but healthy, filling, and delicious. This place is always clean and the ambiance is great. And gawd, if I could leave my work for lunch without someone asking for an açaí smoothie from there, it just wouldn’t be normal. Thanks for the great food and friendly service!

Most certainly the best coffee in Eagle and Meridian areas. Cafe Vita, their roaster, produces some great beans.They also have a great variety of cinnamon rolls if youre looking for pastries, or quiche for a protein rich alternative to typical coffee shop food.They also have a nice patio that is somewhat tucked away from the noise of nearby State Street.The area that could use some improvement in my opinion is ambiance as it is a shop that lacks character or any real feel. It is a small thing, but is an area where Cafe Crane lacks. But for me it is a comfortable place to sit, do some work and get some great coffee and, all too often, an original Cinnamon Roll.

The bacon cheddar quiche was delicious and the Americano is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The service was fantastic and the associates who served my wife and I were very pleasant.

Tried to go there with my husband who has a condition which prevents him from wearing a mask. Woman behind the counter said masks are required, so when my husband stated he has a condition she said he needed to go outside even though there were other customers not wearing masks in the establishment. My husband repeated himself and she said then you can go outside and be helped out there. We require masks.

We tried ordering drinks in the menu and was told that they don’t even offer them. After we said that, we said they should just take it off. We were told we were rude and she doesn’t need to serve us.

Cool place when the younger adults are working, but bad customer service whenever the owner is in. Anything you ask for seems like a burden when going through her.

Nice quiet coffee cafe off of State Street. I like to go in here before I wade into the chaos of Winco or Home Depot, which are in the same shopping center.The staff is exceptional, and the coffee is very good. The baked items are very good as well.Enough indoor/outdoor seating to accommodate folks. Free wi-fi works well.

Another failed attempt to try your pastries and coffee. Today you lost 4 customers closing your doors early. Your open sign was still on and the posted closing time was noon. It was 20 minutes to noon when we arrived and doors were already locked.
