Bought a refurbished laptop here at a good price. Store also has a great selection of games, including an in box copy of Final Fantasy 2 when I was there.The girl that helped us seemed to know what she was talking about, was friendly and helped us find the right laptop.The reason for 4 stars instead if 5 is we were given the wrong charging cord. After having to drive all the way back the employees argued for awhile over whos fault it was and took awhile to find the right one. It was eventually corrected though.

A recent storm damaged my hard drive and I called Reboot repair and Jacob was able to repair and replace my hardware the very same day! Professional, prompt service and fair prices! I would definitely recommend them!

These guys are the absolute BEST nobody is truly in competition with them. Their customer service is excellent and their skills even better! I had my laptop serviced on 5/10 with them and though they have a 30 day policy for any technical issues that may arise, they fixed my blurry camera (in about 5 minutes) as a COURTESY, today 6/22.You just don’t get service like theirs, especially in the tech industry. They are worth every penny!

Tried twice, there won’t be a third. I’ve been collecting video games for over a decade before it became the popular thing to do so I know the ends and outs. I came in there last week and saw a game I was interested in. I asked the owner if he could mark $10 down thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal as I had something else and would have more than likely purchased more but he wouldn’t do it. He claims that he’s “for the collectors not the scalpers” and that’s why his prices are that way. I’m like alright I’ve heard that before but maybe I’ll trade with him and see if he really is different; you know have some more connections. Fast forward a week later and I come in with some cool stuff and he only wanted to give me 150 in store credit? Lol that was a very disrespectful offer and the owner wouldn’t even come out the back to talk with me to my face. He had some kid tell me “we need to make money too”. There’s a reason why they still have so many games in their case and they haven’t been sold. I was looking to spend a few hundred there too but I guess I’ll continue to go to the game store off of 11 mile and I-75. You know which one I’m referring to.

Very friendly customer service; personable staff that makes us feel welcome each time. They recognize us right away. Prices are great and trade value is fair. My family was more than happy with our experience. My 9 year old accidentally knocked his Xbox off the stand, and it wouldnt turn on. We brought it in, and the staff was quick to potentially diagnose. The staff, working on Sunday May 23rd, was also very knowledgeable about the games my son played, also very honest about pricing, and upfront about potential account loss. In just a few hours, they were able to replace the hard drive, and promptly call us to pick up the now working Xbox. Very professional. Highly recommend

Had 2 laptops go down at the same time, during home schooling... lets just say that was a nightmare. One was/is insured through Geek Squad so we dropped it off there, still have not received it and we dropped off in the beginning of March. We gave reboot the other one and they had a back within a week. It works wonderfully!! Geek squad will NEVER get another laptop of ours.

Reboot has provided two successful and timely repairs (tablet and laptop) for our family. The employees are candid and capable - I hope we wont be back for obvious reasons but it is great to know this resource is available on the east side.

So around Christmas 2020 I came in and ordered my PC upgraded with parts I bought and 2 Ram sticks they had. They did great work 3 day turn around only because the upgrade guy was on gone for the weekend or something otherwise it would have been done faster. I used to work at a computer shop and these guys are cheaper and more professional than best buy or microcenter and I use them exclusively.

Brought in two Ps4s for repairs. They were able to fix one and the other was unfixable. They charged me only for the repairs on the one they fixed, $125 to replace my dead hard drive. Had it back hooked up in a few hours after I dropped it off and it runs smoothly. The store itself is full of fun stuff and some great collectables. Only place Ill bring my electronics from now on. I love you guys

Possibly the best retro video game shop in the metro Detroit area. Staff is very knowledgeable and professional. They can repair everything from cell phones, computers and video game consoles. They even fixed my lcd television. The owner has serious bbq skills. Hit his wife up too if you want a delicious Mac n cheese recipe. They got skillz.

They fixed my shattered iPhone screen fast. Looks and works as good as new now and it was a fraction of the cost the Apple store would have charged.

Saw this place on TV, it was hyped up that they could do and get most anything for old and outdated electronics. Unfortunately after driving from the other side of the world 🤣 they told me they could not fix the usb port on my electronic bible. So for me it was a tremendous disappointment.

The place had a GREAT selection, however a little pricey, even for games that are in pretty horrible condition. I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars, but the young girl at the counter was extremely dismissive and condescending. Might need some better training on greeting and engaging customers

I have a 9 year old macbook that’s been struggling. It had decided to freeze so bad I couldn’t even turn it off. I decided on my lunch break I’d at least drop it off for repairs. The people were all very friendly, I walked in and they took a look, then 20 min later I left with a functioning MacBook once more!Much better than waiting hours at the Apple store which I’ve done before for this computer. Also had a lovely selection of games and plushies I enjoyed perusing while I waited!

Hey Neighbors, just wanted to give you all a heads up about a Computer Repair place I found in Eastpointe. Reboot Repair on 10 mile just west of Gratiot. My 10 year plus old fateful Laptop (my connection to the world these days) just Died 😞 Wouldnt even turn on took it over to them after finding them to be closest on Google. They found it to be a loose screw that was grounding out something. $60 bucks and Im good to Go!! 😁 They could have told me it was a major repair and charged me probably double or more and I wouldnt have known the difference. Nice to find there are still Honest business people in this Anything for a Buck World we live in!! I will Definitely Be Back.

Bought a copy for pokemon sapphire for $40, turned out the store didnt check to see if it was authentic because as soon as i tried playing it, it was obvious it was a bootleg copy. After bringing it back to the store, i was only offered store credit. I’m ever coming back, as a video game store that cant tell real from fake pokemon is pathetic and doesnt care about its customers.

My son and I was please with the service we received there. The guy I spoke to on the phone, offered me a great deal to resurface 3 of my sons game disks. I was very impressed by their selection of all types of old and new video gaming systems, and accessories. They also offer several other services, dealing mainly with electronics and computers. We plan to go and patronize them again.

I mainly go for device repair, the staff are down to earth cool peeps that know what theyre doing. They are helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Prices for repairs are fair and the work is quality. I highly recommend them. If youre looking for classic hard to find games and consoles they just might have what youre looking for.

In one word: INTEGRITY. I brought three laptops into Metro Computer Games and iRepair for repair and was under the impression that each computer would cost $150 to fix (I called around for prices). When they looked at the laptops, they advised me that there was nothing wrong with them, but that the power cords had failed. They sold me three new power cords for a very reasonable sum and sent me on my way. Had they been unscrupulous, they could have taken possession of the computers to fix them and I would have been none the wiser. What awesome individuals and human beings! They were so nice in explaining everything to me. I could not be more thankful and they now have a customer for life! Great job! They are a bit out of the way, but I would drive FAR out of my way to have them take care of my equipment! And they earned major bonus points for letting my little beagle come into the shop because it was taking more than a minute to get everything together and it was warm outside. They fawned all over her! A+++

I drove 30 mins here from Redford because the local electronic repair places wouldn’t rebuild my x box one controller with the custom buttons and joy sticks I ordered (they said the cost of repair would be as much as a new controller, or they just wouldn’t do it). Reboot did it no questions asked!!! Very fast and for a super fair price, if I could put 6 stars I would!! Brad and the team there are the real deal!!!

I took my dinosaur of a computer tower in for a repair, hoping to get a few more years out of it. Rather than allowing me to put money into something that may not have lasted a month I was offered an alternative that will definitely last more than a few years. I have never had a worse experience with a simple phone screen replacement. The only reason I gave this location two stars is the owner did really try to fix what his staff ruined and eventually gave me a refund.I took my phone in on a Friday to have the cracked screen replaced. An hour or so later I received a phone call saying my phone was in a boot loop and Id have to wait until the next day when the main tech came in to try to fix it. About 30 minutes later I received another phone call stating the fixed the issue and my phone was ready for pick up. By Saturday evening my home button stopped working. I took the phone back in on Monday and the owner seemed to have fixed the phone properly. By Tuesday evening the left side of the new screen was not working so I took my phone back to the location Wednesday evening. They called me about 90 minutes later saying my phone was ready. As soon as I arrived and picked up my phone the home button wasnt working. The employee told me he hadnt been working on the phone so he knew nothing about it. At this point Im frustrated and tried explaining everything Ive dealt and this particular employee WALKED AWAY FROM ME. He returned shortly and gave me phone a couple flicks with his finger, seriously and then said there was nothing he could do. When I asked for a refund he said he wasnt authorized to do that. When I asked him call someone who was authorized to come up and give me a refund he refused to call him and said I had to come back AGAIN. So, the next morning I arrive at their posted opening time however, the owner arrived 30 minutes late. After working on my phone for about an hour he pretty much told me hes tried everything and had no idea what is wrong. I insisted on a refund and eventually received it but now no longer have a working home button on my phone.If you still want to check this place out Id only go when Jacob is there as he genuinely seems to care about making things right. The rest of the employees that I interacted with were less than stellar.

My ps4 was stuck in a safe mode loop and I tried calling GameStop and looking on YouTube how to get out of it all you need to do is go to reboot on 10 mile and gratiot they will help you. ps. Way better than GameStop

Had my iPhone 7+ screen replaced was a good experience. The sales clerk was very nice, rated them 4 stars because I came back in a half hr and it wasn’t done yet I had to wait an extra 10 mins. For $66 you get the screen replaced and a screen protector is a great deal.

The first time I went to Metro Computer and games was to sell a few games and get some money.I was going to ask for just a few dollars for each, but the manager Jacob told me the games I had were worth more than what I was asking, he actually told me they were worth MORE, not less. I was looking to get about $60 for the 30 games I had, he told me they were worth about $130.By his being honest about the worth of the games he has made a customer for life out of me. If I have any problems with my computers, or any games I need or want to sell, Metro will be the FIRST PLACE I go to.

After being a customer of Best Buy (and Geek Squad) from the beginning of my world as a laptop owner, I can say with complete confidence that I will never be returning to them, but coming here instead. The guys at Metro were friendly, beyond helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the problems I was having with my HP split laptop. They dont charge a fee for diagnostic if you go through with their services and theyre also wicked fast. I was in one day around 5 pm and I had a fully functioning laptop ready to be picked before 5 pm up the next day. Not to mention that my laptop wouldnt so much as turn on, and was cleaned and superbly functional by the time I came to get it. Theyre affordable, friendly, and they do great work. What more could you ask for? I will never take my electronics anywhere else!!

Took my Playstation 4 in yesterday because the HDMI output wasnt working properly. They called me back today to tell me that not only did they fix it, the issue wasnt particularly the HDMI but the connections to the board was not good. They fixed that and told me it would be $20 cheaper! I have never had a bad experience here and the customer service is top notch. I drive 30 minutes out of the way just to have them fix my stuff! Will NEVER go anywhere else! Thanks again for not trying to steal money from me!

I took my computer here to have a cracked screen repaired. paid and full. they switched owners which had nothing to do with me, broke my computer while repairing it, then the new owner and the old owner start blaming each other! my computer screen never got fixed and they damaged my computer! the new owner was very rude and told several lies about repairing my computer but when she found the the cost she threw all the blame on the last owner when i clearly talked to her and she said she would take care of it! im out a computer! my repair cost! AND COURT COST!
