The work is quality. And Keith who manages their restoration types of repairs is fantastic. But, I won’t be going back here anymore after the partial ripoff and the avoided ripoff I just had.I got an estimate for $4800 worth of work. I got most of it done at Eau Claire, my fault for not looking around and trusting a car dealer. Out of curiosity I got a few quotes for the remaining work elsewhere and they were all half of the cost of Eau Claire auto. They also recommended mounting and balancing my tires that they installed maybe 5k miles ago.Just a crummy way to do business. It cost them the rest of mine on this repair, all of it in the future, and I am a big Jeep fan so they also lost my future vehicle purchases.Buyer beware. Shop all of their estimates on repairs and even second guess them.Edit: my comparative quotes from reputable businesses in Eau Claire. They were all recommended to me by other companies. For example, the highly regarded Superior Auto recommended Arrow Alignment for a previous issue I had I did consult them here too.

I have to say I am really satisfied with my experience there. It was rocky at first as my credit tanked due to the past year, but they were willing to work with me. The salesman that worked with me was Alex, I would give him a five star review for taking the time to show me the features of the car that I was going to get and was especially patient with me for someone purchasing their car from a dealer. Even with how busy things were for him, he still got back with me on every question that I had.

Due to this being such a large business with 3 separate buildings I am making a distinction upfront. I took my vehicle into the service department of the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealership building (there is a separate building for its used vehicles and another for Nissan etc).They have a very nice setup and system for everything from shuttles, early secure key drop off, very friendly staff, and most importantly prices not being as bad as you might expect (at least for a thermostat change).If you do happen to be stuck inside it is very spacious with office cubbys if you need to get work done. Having my vehicle needing a software update a couple weeks before this place wasnt a bad one to have to visit again.

I didnt buy here, the 1 Star rating is for service. The entire process was a complete pain, and when they couldnt find the problem, I was stuck paying for their inept diagnostic.Be aware, if youre Check Engine light turns back off before you get it in, they wont want to even check you in for service. This is despite the fact these lights are occasionally intermittent, and with 3-4 days to get an appt, its like playing roulette on whether itll be on that day.It wouldnt have been so frustrating had I not called their competitor and spoken with a mechanic that knew exactly what the issue was, and gotten it fixed in 30 minutes the next morning.Oh well, only $140 for a lesson learned.

This place does not stand behind the vehicles they sell. Unfortunately, I’m a repeat buyer of 5 nissans. Purchasing my last in May of 2020. A 20 Nissan Armada Platinum. Very nice car except for my defective paint job. It started with 3 or 4. Then 12-15. Now I have 30 spots covering my entire car. Front, back, sides and top. Today— inside my car doors. I have repeatedly asked dealer and Nissan for some type of resolve. All I’ve been told is that it’s my fault. For what? Driving it 5 miles to work?! Do. Not. Buy. Here. Head to the Toyota dealer, MUCH better service there and they stand behind their trucks and suvs.

Very shady businessTold sales person I would buy the vehicle and be in the next day to buy. Was told I needed to put a non refundable deposit of $1000 down or vehicle was going to auction. Came in the next day and vehicle was gone to auction. At least they’re honest I guess.Should trust customers, especially repeat customers. I guess having bought two vehicles from them previously wasn’t enough for them to trust my word.

Purchased a used genesis coupe at this dealership from Michigan and made the drive to come pick it up. I have nothing but kinds things to say about this dealership and it has been the best dealership experience Ive ever had. Chandler is a young, kind, motivated car salesman that does not pressure into buying. Not only did they give me a great deal, but also made sure I got home safe, offered a warranty, and checked up the following weeks to make sure the car was still running great. Our process probably took about 4 hours if not more, but out sales man, Michael T. He was very patient, understanding and outgoing! If anything talking to him was the best part! From the time we got there till the time we left he took great care of us. I’m VERY pleased! We had left one of the buildings to finish out the process and he took it upon himself to come and check up on us every couple of times. Definitely need more business people like him!

Everyone there was incredibly respectful and helpful. They quickly accommodated my needs and I dont have a single complaint about the process. Aaron even offered to drive a few hours to secure my cosigners signature, instead of making them drive up. Wildly exceptional customer service.My only complaint was that this company did not have a mask policy before it was state-mandated, so none of the employees wore masks. I do find that behavior somewhat flippant and inconsiderate, but it is evident that is on a level of company culture, and not the individuals I worked with.If youre looking to purchase a vehicle, theyre great! Hopefully now that it is state policy, they are wearing masks as well.

I dropped my car off with my own parts today to have a rear brake job done. Loren in service called to tell me my vehicle also needed new brake calipers and brackets. I asked how much it would be, and Loren said “it’ll be around 380$, so 400$ should cover it. 5pm this evening I get a new total of over 500$ due. This used to be my favorite dealership and I will not be returning for service, or sales which is sad because this was my second vehicle purchase here. There will NOT be a third purchase.

Wow.... what a fantastic experience we had today at Eau Claire Automotive Group. We were traveling to Eau Claire to make it to a very important appointment. We took the exit ramp and suddenly our car check engine light started blinking and the car was struggling to run, traction control lights came on. 2 stop signs and a long prayer later we pull into the parking lot. A very kind saleswoman directed us to the service bay were we then met Shaun. He got our car right in and took our information. While he was showing us the customer waiting area, I was trying to come up with a plan to still make our appointment on time. Shaun to the rescue!!! He arranged for a shuttle van to get us to our appointment, and we made it with time to spare. We finished up our appointment, made a call to the shuttle van and he was right back to pick us up. I highly recommend not to go here. Granddaughter went and bought a car from them. They used their fine company. Chrysler Capital. They charged her 25.9 percent interest. She goes back for oil change. Told her she had leak in radiator hose. Told her it would cost her $400 . She took it to another mechanic NO LEAK!. They also told her she needed tires. Wanted to put them on right away. before she left. $800 for tires! Checked elsewhere. Tires are good! I am checking with BBB. And also legal services.

Great service and Chandler was very helpful. My only concern is that my wife and I were wearing face mask because of the Covid 19. To show respect for our belief that a face mask is for our protection and yours, the personal in the dealership should have offered to wear a mask. Wearing a mask is not a sign of weakness but a sign of respect.

Customer service is great! However, they only care about getting you in a car and not about reliability. Had a suv for less than 10 months and it had issues after only 1 month, was such a bad experience. Then when I took it back to trade or see what could be done. No assistance or help was given, or ownership taken. Just a you never know with cars which I get, but less than a year? So I decided to go back to prestige where I bought my cars in the past and they went above and beyond to help me. They even gave my a huge discount because they knew I had be sold a bad car! Will not return or recommened eau Clair auto group!!!

I went in to get an estimate of the trade value of my car. I was in a tough spot because my current vehicle didnt have a warranty and had turned into a money pit in the last year. I also owed way more on it than it was worth. And like so many others out there, I had mediocre credit. At no point was I talked down to about my situation or made to feel inadequate.Not only did Paul work magic with the numbers to get a loan approved, he gave me a massive discount on a reliable car and worked with Steve Connell to find me something that fit my needs. They listened to what I was asking for and bent over backwards to make the deal happen.I went in just to find out how screwed I was and came out smelling like a rose. I now have a nearly new, certified car with bumper to bumper warranty coverage through the entire life of the loan. I slept well for the first time in months.The entire experience was absolutely more than I could have hoped for. It was obvious from the start that Paul & Steve were looking out for my best interests. My husband and a specific truck in mind when he was pondering purchasing a truck. We saw the brand and year he had been contemplating at this store. We were visiting Eau Claire and decided to check the tryout while in town. We saw the truck, my husband liked the looks and we asked the sales representative about it. He thought the truck hadn’t had its inspection which was required to be set out on the lot for sale. He inquired with his colleague who ensured him the truck had passed all inspections. My husband has been dealing with nothing other than a cracked head and extremely poor suspension and tie rods etc. it’s been a year now that he’s put several hundreds of dollars into this truck and if he sold it as is he would not be able to get what he owes for it. Therefore, he and I are completely stuck with a lemon of a vehicle that the dealership won’t even acknowledge when my husband tries to contact them. I put a lot of time into this comment section just so all of you know what an awful experience we had with this company and why we are now dealing with this money pit of a truck that the company won’t even help with. Please, be careful with this dealership. They have yet to acknowledge anything we have been saying or trying to get help with.

We had been checking out buying a newer vehicle...A couple of the dealerships were ok. We wont mention those...BUT we went to the Eau Claire Auto Group ........found a vehicle we may of purchased, UNTIL we found the real price tag stuck between the seats......The price on the tag and the price they quoted was TWO THOUSAND PLUS HIGHER than the price on the tag. REALLY? AND THIS IS GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE? When we confronted the sales person, he said that the lower price is for people who have low or bad credit. Are you serious?DO NOT SHOP AT THE EAU CLAIRE AUTO GROUP!!!!

We were traveling through from Florida and my son got a flat on his truck. 2.5 hrs for AAA... seriously! He called Eau Claire Automotive and they said they could help us out. They not only changed the tire, they attempted to repair the old one... that didnt happen, large piece of bottle glass in it ....but took the flat off the rim, wrapped it in plastic and put it in the back seat of the truck!! All for $20!!! Who does that?!?! Thank you so much! And everyone, go use the service department there and buy your next vehicle there!!!

Used Car Central is a SCAM.I went in to look at vehicles since Ive driven past the location several different times, and thought there were decent looking vehicles available out front.The representative, Chris, was more than helpful to help me and my boyfriend look at vehicles that were in our price range. Now, when Chris had asked us what our price range was, I told him $300-$400 a month INCLUDING insurance, that in total it couldnt be over $400.He assured me that they had vehicles in that price range, and took me around to look at some decent vehicles, and I even test drove one that I really liked. We went back into the building as Chris checked with his manager to give me an idea what the budget/estimated costs would be.He came back and told me it would be $405 a month, for the car alone. So he didnt listen to me when I told him what I could afford, and when I asked what the reason was for such a high payment, he told me that my credit score was too low, and gave me the numerical value that came back from their credit check company.So that alone - not listening to what I said and coming back with something I obviously couldnt afford - would earn you 3 stars in my books. The vehicle was okay - the representative is just too intent on making money off of me to listen to my needs, and therefore lost a sale.NOW HERES THE KICKER.I get a letter in the mail about two weeks later from the company that they use to run credit checks, and I got to see the credit score they came back with. IT WAS 40-50 POINTS HIGHER THAN WHAT CHRIS TOLD ME MINE WAS. And theres no way that this wasnt the score at the time of the negotiation, because they included that this was what we ran, and why we couldnt accept you etc.I dont even care that my credit wasnt decent enough - Im beyond irate that this company thinks its okay to lie about someones credit score by such a substantial amount and then try to weasel more money per payment out of the person theyre trying to sell to.I will tell anyone who listens about how terrible this company is - and how theyre just money-grubbing, impertinent liars. They shouldnt even be allowed to sell to people.

Bought a Jeep here in the fall, promised to get a soft top at dealer cost. Call recently to ask on prices and get the run around, changing stories and prices. When I asked about a certain top, was told, Oh you dont want that one. along with false information on the reason. Had other vehicles serviced here and again more changing stories. Will go anywhere else for our next vehicle.

Salesperson left a bad taste in my mouth, didnt listen to what I was saying, and seemed very clingy. Poor inventory and overall presentation. Put off enough by the experience to avoid test driving here.

From Milwaukee, but was in Eau Claire with an emergency situation with two bad tires that needed to be replaced on a Saturday at 2pm. After contacting a few other places that could not help, we landed here. From the start, this place is professional, helpful, and offered top notch service. They had affordable tires and quick service and we were back on the road in literally under an hour. Without them, our trip would have been seriously derailed. Thank you again for all of your help.

I hesitate to write this review, as my vehicle is still in service. But my nightmarish scenario has left me with no other option.I bought a brand new 2017 jeep renegade in what I thought was a pleasant buying experience. But its now been in the shop 6x in 2.5 months, 3500 miles Once for an update that almost stranded me at work, and 5 more times for problem that they cannot seem to fix. They even brought in an engineer from Chrysler to look at it, and still nothing (except a fog lamp that apparently already burned out, even tho Ive used them twice.)You would think they would be more sympathetic to a problem that ALREADY qualifies for the lemon law, but they absolutely avoid my inquiries into getting my money back or a new vehicle. Even my Chrysler case manager avoids the subject, to the point I have had to seek legal counsel on the matter.The service department has been A NIGHTMARE to deal with. The first 3x I went in, no one had ever head of my problem. The next time I went in, with video evidence, they AMAZINGLY found someone there who knew what it could be. Its now in, again, and they give me a loaner to replace my 4x4 SUV: a FWD sedan with an empty gas tank (55mi to E) and 4% oil life.And they LITERALLY, in the dictionary definition of the word, NEVER call back when they say they will. I dont mean Im too impatient to wait. I mean we will call you by 10am with an update, whether we know anything new or not and I end up calling them at 230pm because I have a job and a family and cant base my entire life around a phone call.If the jeep wasnt covered by warranty, I would never return to this place.

Sales people are dishonest and if you need any service done covered by warranty it will take 1 to 3 months for them to get parts. I see all the 5 star reviews on here but in 6.5 years of dealing with these guys have never experienced it. It’s unfortunate because I really like Nissan cars but I will not be buying from these guys again.

Ive had very good luck with the 3 vehicles Ive bought from this dealership. I never felt pressured like at some other dealerships and they are willing to deal. How can you not love a place that sells hellcats!

Do not bring your vehicle here for service! Their appointments are meaningless and their techs dont seem to know what theyre doing. I made an appointment to service my vehicle and was told it might need to be there overnight for them to finish it. So I left it and it took them a full 24hrs to begin the diagnosis, then it took them another day to replace the part they told me was broken. Even then they apparently didnt think to check the heater core for a heater issue because after they finished they said they found a blockage and that it would need to be replaced. So I paid out the nose for barely a half measure and was without my vehicle for 3 days.

Every time I go there the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Worst purchase we ever made. Sales reps were great but service department stinks!!! So does their extended warranty, so many issues with this car. Purchased warranty and did not cover any of the problems. Plus a new battery was installed days after purchase with a 3 year warranty and 2+ years later it is dead and they wont do anything about that either. Be cautious when buying!

My girlfriend scheduled an appointment for 1:30 to change her oil after receiving an email from this facility that she was due, with a link to the schedule service page. She was told upon arrival that the appointment that she made was not valid for an oil change, and was told it would be roughly an hour for them to get her car in. She sat there for 2 hours before it was brought in, at which point she had to leave. She was told that next time, she could call before hand and they would get her right in. What is the difference between making an appointment and calling ahead? We are very disappointed in this situation, and the way it was handled by the team at Eau Claire Automotive.

Salesman was rude, arrogant and pushy. Wont be back!
