Just took our Honda pilot in for a safety recall on our fuel line. I already had a bad experience where an old car of ours came back damaged after a repair from a different dealership, so I scrutinized the back seat since they told us they were going to dismantle the entire back seat to access the fuel line. They broke the handle off the back of one of the seats and didnt even think to tell us about it. I brought it up and they were at least gracious enough to order a new part, so thats some good on their part. It was mainly a handle for cosmetic purpose and didnt really affect the ability to move the back seat, but it was still upsetting as this car is new. Check your car after work is done on it. It seems not everyone will be honest.

Sold me an expensive cover everything warranty when I bought my car through them and when i ran into paint warranty issues I was left with Honda Motors and Ken Vance pointing fingers at each other and now I have a car that looks horrible!Insult to injury is when I called Ken Vance they said all they could do was have me trade it in and maybe I could talk them into giving me full value. What a joke!

He was a wealth of information and expectedly we aren’t going to remember everything he told us about all the new features so he gave us his personal cell phone and told us to call/text anytime. He was not pushy and let us do our thing. He was very attentive to what our needs and concerns were and recommended the best options for us. My 24-year-old daughter wanted to buy her first vehicle. She did a lot of research on line and scheduled an appointment in Eau Claire at 11:30 AM (we live in Ladysmith, an hour and 20 min away) to test drive a vehicle and look at others. When we arrived on time for the appointment, the sales person was not available. We waited for 15 minutes before he was available. She test drove her first vehicle and returned to the store to get questions answered. He was paged when we returned and we waited another 20 minutes. Another sales person was nice enough to come up to us and inform us that our sale person was with another customer and it would be awhile so we left for lunch and asked that he call us when he was free. Ironically while this other sales person was talking to us, what looked like a manger or owner came up to us and we expected him to help, but no, he only wanted to know what the other sales person brought for lunch. Needless to say we did not receive a call after lunch and proceeded to go down the road to Prestige Kia. She test drove 3 vehicles and purchased one. The experience at Prestige Kia was effortless. They were attentive and helpful and made the process quick and painless. I would not recommend Ken Vance to anyone. I certainly won’t be returning there and neither will my daughter. Oh and finally around 4:00 pm the same day the Ken Vance sales person did text my daughter, but she had already finalized her purchase at Prestige Kia.

I’m a 19 year old female who attends UWEC. I hear a noise consistently on my Honda Civic knowing that the back brakes are going out, so I decide to take it in here. I was told that the noise was the snow being grinded up on my wheel well, they refused to check it out. After I talked to them for another 15 minutes they agreed to take it on a test ride & was told they would lower price once they find out that it’s the snow causing the problem.... turns out after the test ride I was right all along & needed new brakes... just makes me wonder if I would have been questioned 1000 times if I was a guy... 0/10 would recommend this place after this experience

My previous experience with this dealer has been good. In fact, we recently had major body work done on a new car and they did a great job. This week I dropped the car off for a windshield replacement with recalibration of the camera and laser system. When my wife picked it up they wanted to charge her $192 after insurance coverage. If I had not alerted her that there should be no cost to us, she would have paid. Did the service guy just make a mistake? Id like to think it was a simple mistake but car dealers have such a horrible reputation for overcharging and misguiding customers that this experience makes you wonder.

You know, Ive had a couple of funny things happen with this dealership, but overall, I have to say that they are good. I can rely on them to help me when I need it, and they do accurate inspections of my 2008 Honda Fit. They were very helpful when I was having problems with my key. They did once tell me I needed my rotors done, and my mechanic just did the pads and things seem fine. I am not an expert on brakes. Also, I purchased new tires from them. The tires were not installed properly because the technician was not experienced with the stem sensor. The air leaked entirely from one tire. When I called for the repair, the customer service was not the greatest, but the person I spoke with followed up with his manager and they did finally fix the problem to my satisfaction. They also were respectful and kind when I was protesting the bad customer service, and I think they were honest with me about the tire problem after they made the mistake. Also, they sometimes give me a free car wash with an oil change, and sometimes dont.

If you buy a used car from them and the windshield has a chip they say they filled we recommend insisting they replace the windshield . We have had our car less than two years. The chip they say they filled has now cracked. The response from Ken Vance is turn it into your insurance.

I cannot speak for sales or any other department but we have had so many troubles with service. From replacing parts that may not have needed it and then not doing it correctly. When brought to attention from another dealer I had to bring my car back here to have it fixed. The orginal time they fixed our issue it wss a day the second time to fix the same issue it was four weeks. After getting our car back issues arose 4 days later to find that the mechanic here did finished the job sloppily by not tightening some screws. I am so disappointed with the work done here.

Was looking at cars to buy back in July and after standing on many dealerships for more than 10 minutes I left. When I went over to Ken Vance Eric Pamperin was out there within 3 minutes asking me what I was looking for. He was not pushy and very professional. He didnt pretend to know everything about the vehicles and would find out the answers when I asked. I have had the car now for 5 months and put over 10k on it with no issues. It was a 2011 Chevy Cruze Eco. They gave me one hell of a good deal on it and even met me halfway on replacing a battery on it a few weeks after I got it with no resistance. I am not entitled like most people when I buy a USED vehicle so the fact that they met me halfway was awesome. I will definitely go back to Ken Vance in the future.
Recently had $1500 of service done on my 11 year old Civic. First time ever had work done on the car and first time had any work done at this dealer. They had the serpentine belt loose and easily could have replaced but instead suggested in the future I have that done - brilliant. The car was there for three days and they only managed to do a very hasty vacuum of interior. A 10 year old could have done a better job. At both Marquardt and North Town Ford the vehicle is detail vacuumed and exterior washed each visit for a less than $100 oil change/rotate, but not here apparently. The repairs made appear to have been done well and properly though. Disappointed with communication and the little things that make me not want to return for any future service or purchases.
Always very friendly, always have the car back kn time or sooner than expected. They must be working on the waiting area as that has some issues right now, but brand new chairs.
They take good care of my car
I have a 2014 Honda Accord. At 16,000 miles I brought the car in for a service to inspect the car and have an the oil changed. I received the inspection form back and the car was in great condition per the inspection form. At 21,000 miles I noticed that the rear tires were very loud and saw the tires had very noticeable cupping. I brought this to their attention and then spoke with the Service Manager and they will not cover anything on the tires. They stated, we don’t know if the tires were ever rotated, I asked why didn’t you recommend to have them rotated when I first brought in the car at 16,000 miles (no response) if even to prevent future issues. What they offered was a discount on the tires but full cost on the tire mounting and alignment.

We ran into a snag with financing and I was ready to give up. Chris was not. With the help of the sales manager and the finance team (or the Miracle Workers as I call them), I drove my beautiful pre-owned Honda CR-V off the lot the same day. Hondas run forever, so it may be a while Chris, but Ill be back!
My A/C works some times and most times does not. I took it to Ken Vance Honda and Jessica Bibeau quoted me nearly $200 to diagnose the issue. I rejected her offer and went to Advance Auto Zone. I self diagnose the issue myself and it turned out to be a bad A/C compressor clutch relay for $7. Do not go to your dealer and be scammed. Do some research online and self diagnose.My vehicle has a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and the last time I was at Ken Vance Honda for a service, they never mentioned why the TPMS light was on. I recently took it there and Jessica Bibeau quoted me $70 to replace the relay and I asked if they would mind checking to see what is wrong before replacing the part and Jessica Bibeau quote, I already know its the relay. Well, I took it to Walmart and they reset the TPMS light, free of charge. Yes, FREE OF CHARGE.

I bought my new Honda civic from Ken Vance Honda. After 2 years the metallic paint started pealing off. I took the car to Honda dealer and they confirmed the car was repaired before. The car Ken Vance Honda sold as new car had damage before. They sold it to me by hiding it. The sales agent I dealt with was Kevin Klinkhammer.After identifying the damage I contacted Kevin. He was not co-operating. My brother who is an attorney helped me getting it into the notice of transportation division of Wisconsin. Kevin didnt co-operate for two weeks. When I was about to take legal action Kevin responded saying KenVance didnt repair it.Ken Vance staff all are car dealers. You know how car dealers make money. By lying, hiding and falsifying data.I want people to know the true face of these car sales dealers. According to Wisconsin Statute Chapter 551.501(2) it is a fraud to omit to state a material fact necessary while the vehicle was offered. Two other attorneys who are friends of my brother confirmed the same.According to service people the cars may get scratched during transport. There will be more than one car affected. Mine is the last of few Honda civic Lx of 2012 model.

I wont bring either of my Hondas to this dealer. The female service writer is rude. She essentially told me that without an appointment, they cannot do any work. There were no cars in the bay and 2 guys out smoking. I simply wanted new keys cut and programmed. She said that because the keys were not purchased from their dealership, they will not cut or program.
I bought a Honda Certified 2011 CR-Z on friday. Finally picked it up on monday. They told me it was more expensive than the regular Blue Book pricing because it was certified. Which I completely understood. My boyfriend has a 2008 Honda Civic that was certified and it has been great. No problems with his car whatsoever. When I test drove it the salesperson I was working with told me that the battery had died from sitting in the lot (we couldnt get it to start) so he replaced it for me. Which I was happy about. The information he had about the vehicle was kind-of wrong but it was understood because they have so many different vehicles there. He didnt discuss the price with me, which is also my fault because I also didnt bring it up. Although I think he thought I was stupid and didnt know what I was talking about. Little did he know my boyfriend knows a LOT about cars. Got it on monday and to be certified I was supposed to get 3 different keys for the car. I was told that they only had one for the car and to be sure I didnt lose it. Drove the car to work, drove it home, and picked up a friend to show her how much I LOVED this car. All of the sudden my dashboard started saying BRAKE (I have a 6-speed manual), and Low Brake Fluid, Check VST System, and Check Hill Assist System. Got home and looked at my 128 Pt. inspection. 39 (maybe 40?) out of 128 on the inspection sheet were marked incorrectly or not at all. So I brought it back this morning at 8:30 to be fixed. I was told that they put in a new battery so the mechanic cleared the old issues that they thought was due to the battery. Kind of weird, because AFTER this they were supposed to do a 128 Pt. inspection. I understand that other people in Eau Claire have Hondas that need to be fixed, checked out and worked on. But I just got this car yesterday and drove it for about 30 minutes. I feel like this should be a priority to them. I called around 3:30pm and talked to someone who works in the shop area. Told him my name and my new vehicle and who I spoke to. He said he had no idea who I spoke to, no idea that my vehicle was there, and that he had no information about when my car would be checked up. Extremely long story short, I didnt pay $12,451 for a car that shouldnt even be certified. I didnt pay that much for a car that already had problems. And I definitely dont think I should be paying a monthly payment (right now) for a vehicle that I got YESTERDAY that is now sitting in their lot unattended to. Im so unbelievably frustrated. I called Honda corporate about this but they wont be getting back to me for 2 days. I dont really know what Im supposed to do. And theres a sticker in the loaner vehicle telling me to fill the tank when Im done with it. I find it funny that Im supposed to put fuel into a tank on a vehicle that I got because THEY screwed up my car. Yes, people make mistakes but this is RIDICULOUS.
