Had a unit here for years. Hurricane Ida Hit amd flooded out my unit as well as the entire first floor. My insurance claim was denied. All my possessions lost with not a penny in compensation after paying insurance on the unit for years. Don’t use this place, next storm will have the same results…. More people losing their possessions and no compensation. Wonder if they are notifying new customers that they are in a flood area!!!!! Will never use Cubesmart again!!!

I had a unit at CubeSmart since June 2020, in September when Hurricane IDA came through it flooded my unit. I never received a letter or a phone call telling me my unit was flooded out. Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to take pictures of the damages done because CubeSmart took it upon themselves to throw everything in my unit away my decease mom, dad and my one & only sister every childhood memory was tossed out in the trash, my entire winter clothes, boots, coats my sons video games he collected since he was a kid, my hand made Christmas ornaments I purchased from the mall over the years gone and to make matters worst I paid insurance on my unit and was denied because it didn’t cover flood damages. They also tell you to call FEMA and they will tell you they don’t cover storage unit. I will NEVER use this company again I will NOT RECOMMEND this company. They didn’t offer any compensation to rectify this situation so now I have to spend money I don’t have to replace my winter clothes.

The loud music inside constantly playing all the time was a little bit annoying to say the least but the unit was as good as storage could be. I will say though that there are tons of cats all over the property just roaming around but they were cute so it was kinda sweet until I remembered that they are all strays. The facility itself definitely could use a facelift as it is pretty run down with little updating over the years. The parking can also be annoying when more than 3-4 people are at this location as most of the parking spots are reserved for people who pay to park there . For the units cost, the facility could be more advanced and with more modern features. The location was a plus for me though. The staff was friendly and accommodating and they made the rental and checkout price very easy.

Had a great experience with this storage facility. Great value and easy to get to from Brooklyn. If anyone is looking for storage space I highly recommend this facility

Jose was very helpful,knowledgeable and precise.I came in with a few questions about needing a storage unit and he welcomed me nicely.I definitely will be returning for more business. I recommend Cube Smart to every one. I had a storage somewhere else and Jose gave me more than enough reason to make a change. Thank you for your time and service.

My wife and I always receive great service whenever we stop by the office. The manager Johncarlos is always ready and willing to help us. The pandemic was really tough on my family and I but he was there for us when we needed it the most. I cannot thank you enough. Sherley is a godsend and has great customer service. The new man Josue has been pretty nice too.

JC was extraordinarily helpful and kind. I had lost a friend and needed to rent a unit to help clear out his apartment. Knowing that it was such a difficult time, JC was very compassionate and truly went above and beyond. CubeSmart is very fortunate to have JC representing their company.

Nice customer service when opening account.Edit:After the hurricane Ida storm- the facility was closed and no one would answer calls for the site. Only the call center. After a week they sent out an email informing customers that they would enter their storages and throw away any damaged items on 9/15/21. (All of our items were placed in plastic bags first then sealed in the boxes. So I can only imagine what they deemed damaged.) Although we cleared the majority of our unit out- CubeSmart unlawfully threw the remaining items in our storage away and gave a number to file for FEMA to be reimbursed. So they are also not honoring the insurance policy we placed on the unit.Weve used CubeSmart in the past and never encountered this level of unprofessionalism with them.

Been using the services here for a couple years. The management, John Carlo and Sherley are very professional and helpful. The facility for the most part is kept clean and someone is always there to answer the phone. Keep up the good work.

Great service last week from the workers at Elizabeth, NJ. The gentleman Jay-C is so kind and was cracking me up while he gave us a tour of the property and different sized cubes. We left that day since we was shopping around. There were cheaper prices somewhere else but the service here is great. Lourdes and Sherley helped my mother when we got back. Lovely girls. My experience in Cube Smart was very stress free, thanks to a very helpful staff member named JC. He explained everything in detail, and was quick to answer any questions I had. I stopped by again to make a payment and he was the same. Very helpful.

I made the reservation online. The same day day I received a phone call from a friendly and helpful young lady.Then I went in person on Sunday, October 20th. I was immediately greeted by a friendly young lady named Destiny!She was very efficient and professional. She also greeted two more customers who walked in. I was impressed with how detailed she explained my fees and then showed me my storage space. I had a pleasant experience renting an affordable storage space. I would definitely recommend CubeSmart.

I could not have had a more positive experience than I did with Sylvester and the CubeSmart facility in Elizabeth. Sylvester was friendly, attentive and helpful, and helped me pick out the unit that best fit my needs - regardless of price. Move-in was easy and hassle free, and the location is a convenient distance from Manhattan at a far better price than what I had seen advertised elsewhere.Moving in general was a huge hassle, but Sylvester and CubeSmart made sure that my storage experience was simpler and more convenient than I ever thought possible. Customer Service was awesome. All the prices I was promised were correct. They managed to get to me in a timely manor, if they said they would do something they did. Everything was easy and fast with decent prices. Only down side is the elevator, its a freight elevator, so youll need to wait until the person who is using it to return. Also the carts were broken so moving the stuff to my storage was a little difficult, but we managed. I noticed a ROACH which is never good. I am a bit worried they will travel back with me where ever I go. They have been very attentive so Im hoping they get back to me soon in regards to pest control. Over all I like the fast and available storage.

The manager John was the absolute best, very friendly and helpful, took his time to show me around and didnt rush me at all. Only wish the cubes were a bit clean (the floors were full of dirt) and wish they were actually the advertised size.
