Should be 4.5 stars.I took my truck in for an oil change. Ill admit, there are probably better prices out there. That would be the only reason for not giving it 5 stars.They asked if I wanted the free car wash. I said yes. When the service was all finished, they called to let me know. But they wondered if I wanted a new windshield wiper as mine... Was missing. I was very puzzled by that but said yes.As I was driving home I saw something flapping in the wind. It was my old windshield wiper. Im guessing it was pulled off during their car wash. They told me to bring it in. I did. They apologized, gave me my money back, AND A FREE OIL CHANGE in the future. Thanks!

After we had our car totaled we started looking all over for the same car(we loved our Ford Fusion). When my husband went online and found the exact car, color, make, model - just a year newer and less miles! We were so excited but it was in Wisconsin and we lived in Massachusetts. We immediately called and the salesman, Brock text us back right away. He went out and took more videos of the car and has worked with us from day one. He has been so attentive and kind, always willing and happy to help in all aspects of the transaction. Lots of bumps in the road but happily we have our car and we love it!!!!!

My experience with Summit Automotive was amazing from the start. Brad W. is an amazing sales person as well as a person. My husband was looking at trucks and it took him a few days finally choose the right one but Brad was not pushy at all! The whole process of purchasing the car was super fast since Brad had everything ready to go. Brad made sure we were happy through the whole process and offered our daughter snacks as well :). All in all, the whole team at Summit was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I do recommend them for your car purchase.

This was by far the best vehicle buying experience I have had yet! I found a 2015 Ram 1500 on Autotrader that I was very interested in. I was able to reach out to them, get the information, schedule a time to go test drive and purchase the vehicle, almost in a day and a half. It as a 45 minute drive from my house, so I wanted to be able to get everything done in one trip, and we were in and out in about an hour. I worked with Brock Boettcher during the purchase, and I couldnt be happier with the service or the process. He had everything put together and ready when I got there, so we didnt have to wait around for anything. There were no hidden or secret fees. They explained (IN DETAIL) what everything was, so I knew everything that I was paying for. From the time I reached out to them, to the time I left the lot with my new truck, was about two days, and only required one trip. I would 100% buy another vehicle from them, and would 1,000% go through Brock again. He was amazing and extremely helpful, and made the process completely painless and hassle-free. Alright place to buy a vehicle, but I wouldnt take my wheelbarrow there to be fixed.I have had my Jeep there twice in the last year with low coolant since buying it in Dec. of 2020. The parts changer was snotty with me telling me my coolant evaporated more than a cup of coolant in less than 6000 miles. The coolant reservoir was almost empty both times.They said they pressure tested the system for two hours but there are more accurate ways to check for a bad head gasket. They also informed me that Jeep does not have a sealed cooling system. When I asked about doing a 5 gas analyzer test, they told me that they didnt have the equipment to do that. I would strongly suggest to find a competent shop with competent mechanics and not just parts changers.I also had them look into my door lock not working and they pulled my door panel with force and now I have a pull mark where the push clip is.

I wanted to take a few moments and post my experience with Summit. This was my first purchase of a car over the internet - and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. So let me say upfront ..This was one the EASIEST / most efficient / simple / POSITIVE online sales transactions I have ever had. I COULD NOT be happier - with the sales team - Marty Krepsky in particular - the process itself - and the car - which is BETTER than I hoped.I purchased a 2013 60th Anniv Corvette - I have always wanted this car !!! ... Summit had THE one - and a few calls and inquiries later - I owned it.Summit / Marty kept me up to date the entire time - on inspections / detailing / paperwork .. all the way up to time the truck picked up to ship to me. I have had the car for a few weeks - and I purposely waited this long to do my review - as I wanted to get the car, have it looked at, and truly look back at what I got for my money.Well ... This is my 6th vette. I just got the car back yesterday from my dealer - They did a FULL 139 point inspection - and since I have spent a few dollars there ... They gave it the once overRESULT ... LITERALLY NOTHING !!! had to fixed / replaced etc .. On 10/08/2021 I completed my 27 hour drive (from Arizona) to purchase my 2016 Ram 3500 4x4 Mega Cab Dually with a manual transmission from Summit Automotive. If you know anything about these trucks you know how hard it is to find this particular combination with low miles. Sean was my sales person and we kept in close contact through out my journey to pick up the truck. When I arrived he had the truck all ready for my test drive and the finance manager had actually found a better deal for my financing then my pre approved offer. It was a quick, smooth and efficient transaction that took less then 45 minutes from when I arrived to when Sean followed me to my motel to deliver my new truck.Fast Forward to 10/29/2021 I pull into Bartow Florida and my dream truck is having shifting issues....I have not even made my first payment yet!!! I had to wait until Monday 11/01/2021 to have it looked at by the dealership .......and low and behold it is the one thing the fancy warranty I purchased will not cover....the clutch. I texted Sean with little hope that they would help me out with this, since it had been 3 weeks, and they had inspected the vehicle prior to my purchase. However, I was blown away by the amount of time and effort Sean put into helping me, from talking to his managers and parts guys, to keeping my updated as to what they were able to do to assist me. Summit Automotive has committed to helping me with this repair.Based upon their commitment to taking care of their customers I would most definitely recommend buying from them and would do so again.

Weve been taking our vehicles here since moving to the Fond du Lac area 14+ years ago. Its always been a good experience. Their lounge makes it more convenient to wait while your vehicle is serviced. Whats better than FREE fresh cookies and TV?! Their shuttle service is VERY helpful for days when your vehicle may have several or much longer repairs to be made. A few times they have taken me to work, then picked me back up. I also appreciate they wash my car after every service - no matter if its in there for a simple oil change or a more complex fix.The workers have always been very nice and honest. When my car was making a weird beeping noise and I thought I was going crazy just describing what it was doing, they offered to take a look at it. When they couldnt get it to do it while in the shop (of course!), they kept in touch and asked for a video/recording of it. When it started doing the beeping again, they were able to diagnose it base on the video! In most recent experiences, the tech recommended holding off on services until they offered deals on them in a few months - and told me what months they would be. Much appreciated there!I recommend signing up for their mailers and emails for discount coupons on services. Though, several times I have stopped by and had discounts applied when I didnt even provide any form of coupon - bonus!My husband bought his most recent vehicle through here with Brock. He was extremely helpful the entire process from picking out the vehicle to setting up financing. All around a good place to go!

I was told in Aug to bring in 2k and I can pick from many trucks, I returned last weekend to buy a truck but was mistaken for my brother and was told they couldnt help me, I told them my name several times. Obviously nobody was listening. Finally a manager spoke to me in his office and was still telling me sorry they can help because the confusion with my brother. After the confusion was finally resolved I was able to drive away in a new truck. Thanks

My entire experience with Summit Automotive has been nothing short of perfect! Kraig was wonderful to deal with during the purchase of my 2015 Jaguar XF Sport. He even assisted me with some post-purchase items that most dealerships would have just ignored, or said they cant help me. Surprised to see the good rating. This dealer does not care about customers, called about buying a vehicle, they will not honor current affiliate pricing. Ben and staff were very helpful and staff was super accommodating. The service department was also very nice and does great work. They did everything as promised. My only negative is not being notified until after the sale that they were not able to include Weather Tech floor mats as discussed prior to the sale. Otherwise it would be a 5 star!

So far not a good experience. When we test drove asked if was smoked in and sales said no. Later found out it was and the smell was covered up. Now four months out and having mechanical problems. When we purchased we were talked into an extended warranty. That would cover repairs. Well now being told it is not covered. That the plan is very limited. They just want to push out as many cars as possible but not stand behind what they sell.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Sean. We came to look at two different used chevys, and quite frankly, were just tire kicking. After going through all the info Sean could get us on the vehicle and taking it for a test drive we were very interested. Being a used vehicle it had its flaws, and Sean was up front and honest about them, probably knowing fully well that he could loose the sale. But that honesty and Sean’s knowledge from working in a service role made us feel very comfortable with purchasing. We are a medium sized construction company in the mid west. We have purchased 3 used trucks from Ben Nichols. We bought them sight unseen, only using pictures and video as reference. Having shopped around quite a bit, I found that their pricing was extremely competitive compared to at least a dozen dealerships nationally. All the trucks lived up to expectations. Ben has been a pleasure to work with, great attention to detail, always available for questions and ensured that the process went smooth all the way up through delivery of the vehicles to our location 5 hours from theirs. We havent had any issues with any of the trucks to date (roughly 1 year since the first purchase) I would highly recommend Ben Nichols and Summit Automotive for you to consider for your next vehicle.

Found a truck I wanted but no one seemed to want to negotiate on my trade in or try and figure something out (dealerships closer to home offered 2 thousand more than what was offered) Sales manager explained to me the cost of trucks is up a little due to covid circumstances. My logic is my trade should be worth a little more then. This is not the case. I wouldnt say I had a bad experience, I just didnt have a good one. The only solution offered was to try and use their creditors to lend extra money. This was the first time I ever got bummed out trying to get a vehicle I wanted.

Purchased 2018 Dodge Caravan from Ben online. Specific concerns were addressed during the initial contact. Delivery took place with remaining questions answered. Charlotte in F&I did a very good job with finance paper work and the close. We took delivery and drove 1400 miles for a weekend event. That drive time was enough to identify the character of the vehicle. Three key items showed up that were overlooked during delivery. I called Ben to express my concerns. He listened very carefully and said he would get back to me shortly. He researched my concerns and called back within 15 minutes. Problems solved! Rare to find solid representation with good problem resolutions...Ben did an outstanding job and I would recommend Summit Automotive for an in person purchase or online!!! Thanks for the help Ben.

Absolutely horrible, unprofessional dealer!! I brought my new Promaster in 2 times to have the brakes looked at for squealing. I was told by Geoff that Promasters just do that. So I left on vacation. I made it to Minneapolis when the parking brakes exploded. Parts were on back order so that dealership there took them apart and got me back on the road. I made it to Montana and the wheel bearing explode in the middle of nowhere and the wheel fell off. I sat in hotels in Montana for over a week waiting for parts to come in. My vacation was ruined and Summit nor Chrysler will reimburse me for hotels, rental car, and a vacation destroyed!!! Do not do buisness with this bunch of lazy, lying, loosers!!! THEY DIDNT EVEN ATTEMPT TO REACH OUT TO ME TO APOLOGIZE OR SEE IF THEY COULD HELP IN ANY WAY. THEY BLOCKED ME AFTER MAKING A BAD REVIEW ON FACEBOOK!!!

Not impressed... was interested in a car and stopped in one afternoon a little less than an hour before close. Brad W was the sales man “helping” us. We went in and told him about the car we were interested in and took it out for a test drive. By time we had chatted and got back it was a very close to closing time. He was not interested in staying even a few minutes after close to help us. He told us to fill the credit app out online when we got home and text him when it was completed so he could get to it first thing in the morning. After it was done that same night we messaged him letting him know. It took 2 days for him to get back to us. Just to tell us we had good credit but the bank wanted a down payment that was half the amount of the entire loan. He was not willing to try to help, give any suggestions, or work with us to try to get the car we wanted. That same day we inquired about another vehicle we were interested in. The next day we went to take it for a test drive but we’re not as interested as the other vehicle we drove. We told Brad what we were interested in and our price range and he also knew by what we were test driving. He pulls up the computer and starts showing us vehicles exactly opposite of what we were looking for like he hadn’t even been paying any attention or even pretended to care like he wanted us to be his customer. That same day we drove down the road to Lenz and we were in and out with EXACTLY what we wanted in less than 2 hours. They were so kind and helpful and showed they actually wanted to help us. Should’ve went there from the start. Will not be recommending summit to anyone ever. Nor will I step foot back in there.

Where do I even start? From my sales contact (Kraig), to the manager (Matt), to the finance lady (Char)... entire process was top notch. Mind you, I live in FL, and purchased my 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid from this dealership in Wisconsin.. Entire process including signing of the paperwork was conducted virtually (over the phone, text and email)When I couldnt pick up the car myself due to extenuating circumstances, they had someone drive the car out to me!!!!! and left a bunch of thoughtful gifts in the vehicle. Will I buy a car from the again? ABSOLUTELY... Even my wife who is extremely skeptical of dealerships had to admit that this was an outstanding experience. Stand up folks all around. FLEW FROM UTAH!!! These guys are awesome over here. They worked through a long distance deal very professionally and honestly. I flew into Chicago and they sent a driver to come and pick me up. I got there and the vehicle that I was looking to purchase was in as good of shape as I had expected and seen in the photos/videos. Brock was extremely responsive and worked to resolve any issues that came up along the way. I will gladly fly back out there in the future to work with such a dealership. They are several steps ahead of most dealerships.

I personally dont recommend this dealership. My husband and I were on the market, seriously looking for a new vehicle. Stopped through the lot and I found a vehicle I really liked (used) so we checked it out, got all the info and took it for a drive. Upon taking it for a test drive, we noticed the transmission seemed jerky. We went in and talked to one of the employees and expressed much interest in the vehicle but also expressed our concerns during the test drive. The salesman said hed have it looked over and let us know because we were highly interested if it ended up being nothing and got fixed/looked into. Well... We never received that call and seen it was put back on the lot. So we stopped into the lot to see what was going on and the salesman said, oh well our mechanics have been swamped but Ill be having them look at it the following work day.. And once again we never received a call or any type of contact as to what was going on with the vehicle but we did see it out on the lot again. Went by today and seen it was gone and the spot was filled, so we assumed they sold it. After that experience and the unprofessionalism, we are glad we did not follow through on the vehicle or buy from this dealership. Not sure if this is typical behavior but seeing other reviews of having issues after they left the lot with their vehicle, I would advise people to air on the side of caution when considering this dealership.

They delivered it and made sure to help any way they could to make the experience great. Edit: I purchased a new 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from Summit about a month ago. I worked with Fred Toth on this Jeep and thus far have been happy with the experience. I feel that Summit has earned 5 Stars.I have had a few concerns with the new Jeep, but have been happy with the way theyre being addressed. FYI the JLUR is a beast. 2 weeks after buying I took it offroading in Colorado and Utah.Previous review:I bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon here. Overall Id rate it a good experience. I saw the Jeep on Autotrader, called them up to let them know I was interested, and set an apt. No pressure sale. They had it very clean and pulled up front. It was basically new and drove like it, with less than 9000 miles on it. Upon walking around prior to the sale, my buddy and I found some light scuffs that the salesman said they would take care of, and did on a follow up apt. The only reasons this isnt a 5 star review are:1. Its my understanding that this was the dealership that originally sold and serviced this Jeep but the tires werent rotated in a 5 tire rotation like they should have been. I didnt catch that it hadnt been done until I took it in for an oil change at 12,000 miles, and by then it was too late to incorporate it in. This is more of a pet peeve, but it really should have been done.2. A day after purchasing I noticed the front hood spring was bent and that it was scratching paint on the radiator support. It needed to be replaced and I raised my concern to my salesman. I felt their response to my concern was not adequate and I ended up replacing the $10 part on my own dime. Thus the reason I initially gave them 4 Stars. I dont ask for much, but if I buy a $38,000 vehicle and discover a $10 part needs replacement a day later, it would be good customer service to just replace the part.The pictures included are of both the 2017 and the 2019.

Ive been looking to buy a new truck for a bit, and been to a lot of different dealerships. I ended up here and purchased the exact truck with exact options I wanted. Of course there were other dealerships I could have as well, but the salesman Chris Olig (very personable) was excellent to work with. Purchased a 2016 GMC Yukon XL from Summit in January. We brought it home and the vehicle had a hyper flash blinker and 2nd row heated seats did not work. We were told to take it into a certified GM dealer to get the repairs done and they would cover it. Summit took over a month to compensate me, and even wanted to split the $2000 bill. Few month later transmission issues occurred. Did some investigating and found the air filter was in pieces which should have been checked by summit. This did not fix the transmission, further looked into the issue to find out that the transmission had an aftermarket torque converter… vehicle only has 30,000 miles. Very disappointed in the lack of knowledge and issues with the vehicle. Luckily it was still under power train warranty for 11 more days.

Drove from 4 hours from Iowa. Marty was very helpful providing information up front before I made the trip. No games. The car was in great condition with low miles. There was a small amount of rust on one of the wheel wells that I would have missed. Not only did Marty send pictures to make me aware that it was there, they offered a discount for it. A minor inconvenience that the dealership does not accept out-of-state checks. After they received the money that I wired, they delivered the car to my home free of charge. Im so happy with the car and would recommend Marty and Summit Auto.

Went in for a vehicle steering/ underneath inspection on my dodge ram 3500 diesel. The service staff was really nice however the mechanic that worked on My truck took out my air filter to put a new one in when he was putting it back together he stripped the bolts thru the air cleaner cover into the bottom parts causing the cover bolt areas to Crack. Then drove my truck out so it was done. Never told me about what he did . I opened the hood on the property at Summitt and found what happened. Luckily Geoff took care of the cover replacement but In the process of reinstalling the new one. The mechanic broke a wire clip attached to the housing and didnt put the air intake hose on properly. So needless to say. I had to still fix my vehicle before driving back to RiponI still question if he even checked my steering and. Now I have to make another appointment to get it looked at cause the mechanic isnt trust worthy cause of what he was hiding on my vehicle.

My wife and I purchased a 2009 Corvette Z06 with 26,116 miles on it. The car is a 6 speed manual transmission in mint condition. We took it for a test drive with no problems and got the payment worked out with the dealer. Picked up the car a few days later and drove it home, which is a little over an hour drive back to the house, pulling into the driveway the check engine light came on. I called the dealer right away and they told me to bring it back to them so they could work on it. Drove it back to the dealership and they gave me a Dodge Ramas a loaner to drive back home. About 2 weeks later they said they got the problems taken care of and to come pick it up. Picked up the car and drove it back home no problems. The next day drove it to the grocery store, about a mile from the house, when we were pulling into the parking lot the check engine light came on again. I called up the dealership and they said I could drop it off at a GM Dealer by me to get it checked out. The GM dealer had it for about 2 weeks and ended up finding a bad cat on the car. Summit stood behind the car they sold us and paid for the replacement of the cat. I worked with Tyler Jackson, Product Specialist, and Ryan Knuepple, General Sales Manager. They took an unfortunate situation that frustrated me, and remained professional and stood behind the product that they sold me by fixing and paying for the repairs. I would recommend Summit Automotive for one reason and that’s because they stood behind the car the sold us!

The unwillingness to even give what my vehicle was worth. Not my first rodeo. They tried to tell me they use autotrader for vehicle values. Ok fine, however then it was, well there is another vehicle just like yours selling for 4K below bluebook and we are giving you more than what this one is selling for. I immediately left and did a nationwide search not only on autotrader but cars.com and the closest one had more than double the miles and was not even close to what the manager said it was selling for. What a scam. Know your numbers before buying anything from there. Oh and by the way, My vehicle does NOT have one dent, scratch or blemish. I am extremely OCD about my vehicles and no accidents. No issue with the salesman, he didn’t have anything to do with the numbers.

Found a Truck I looked at locally (Iowa) as I wanted to purchase locally. Found this Truck on Tru Car and it was a better package and price. I spoke with the salesperson on Tuesday and the deal was done over the phone, text and email by that afternoon. The truck was delivered to my door from Wisconsin on Friday of the same week. I bought a 2017 Ram 2500 from Summit Automotive Group and I will say they went above and beyond for me. First they picked me up from the airport and gave me a ride to the dealership and after I bought the truck and had it home, I discovered a few options wouldn’t work because the previous owner swapped parts out so the rear heated seats and the USB port didn’t work. I called them and they asked me how much it would be to fix this issue and they sent me a check in the mail to fix everything. Very happy and impressed with their customer service! One of the best dealerships I’ve ever done business with!!!

My fiancé and I are very disappointed in this experience. We drove 4.5 hours out of state to see, and (hopefully) buy a truck. My fiancé was talking to a salesman by the name of Chris Olig. My fiancé told him the only day we were available was Thursday (which is Chris’s day off) so we offered to come in on another day, however Chris offered to come in on his day off to work with us. We got there at 945am for our 10am appointment, but Chris was no where to be seen. He finally showed up at 1030 without saying anything to us. Not even an apology, thank you for waiting or a hello. Chris just started by saying he will go get the truck for us. He pulled the truck around, and let us test drive it without saying anything else. When we got back we were very excited to talk numbers and hopefully get this truck with financing. However when we sat down with Chris it became even more apparent that he did not want to be there. He could not tell us about extended warranties, or financing options. When we asked about if the dealership makes movement on price. Chris’s only comment was “We haven’t done that in six months” He wasn’t even willing to see if the title for the truck was in to move forward with financing. When we went to lunch my fiancé was upset and had a lot of unanswered questions. We decided to go back and see if we could talk to someone else and get some real answers. We talked to another salesman who was much better, and a lot nicer who was also more than willing to show us other options on a vehicle. He was even able to ‘find’ the title that Chris said was not there. We ultimately decided to walk away on the truck today because of the way we were treated by Chris. We’re still considering Summit Automotive but still a little skeptical about going back after the way we were treated.About a week later and still on the hunt for a needed truck. Ryan, the General Manager had reached out to seek how he could help make things right. After conversing ideas of needs and wants. The truck we originally looked at, checked just about all the boxes. By the time we were able to lock down financing with our own back. We ended up moving forward on buying the truck. Ryan and his team went over the top to secure us a great deal on accessory upgrades we had wanted and needed for full time towing. Everyone else we interacted with was awesome and very accommodating. The reason we changed our review from 1 star to 4 stars was because of how Ryan and his team ultimately took care of us and re-earned our business back. They truly understand customer service by putting people first. Marty was a fantastic sales person to work with. He was very transparent and honest the whole way. He gave us logical and honest reasons of how they come up with pricing and how the car industry has changed and adapted to various markets and other competitors. I know after we had initially left. My fiancé did a TON of VIN research and digging into the truck and even partnered with other banks and dealerships on the true market value (even with the vehicle shortages/pandemic) he honestly says that getting the truck for what we paid with as low of miles as it has, with all the options and specs. We didnt over pay by much if at all. Was a true win - win for everyone involved and are truly happy with the purchase. We do recommend Summit Automotive for friends and family and would buy from them again in the future!

I wanted to buy a 2015 Ram 3500 that the Dealer had advertised on Auto Trader. The wouldnt post the price. The ad said to contact the dealer. So I did. I asked for the price. Instead, I got a reply wanting to know when I could come to the dealership. I didnt want to come to the dealership if the vehicle wasnt in my price range, much less in the middle of a pandemic. Car buying has change over the last few years. Customers make buying decisions based on available information. This old time dealership would rather have you trapped at the dealership so that they can pressure you into a car (truck) that you may or may not be able to afford. You wont know if you can afford it until you go to the dealer to get the price. All of the cars they have advertised say to contact the dealer for the price... Are they ashamed of the prices and prefer high pressure sales tactics instead? Not the dealership for me. I will send them a copy of the sale contract from a dealer that I do buy from. It wont be Summit Auto.

Very easy to work with and made my buying experience very easy being from out of state. Truck was in exact condition that they told me. Took a quick test drive and i was sold.
