Experience was so wonderful. The exam was awesome. Picking frames was a delight. Vanessa was absolutely wonderful with my 11 year old daughter. Patient, knowledgeable, so helpful. We are so excited for my daughters first pair of glasses. Definitely recommending to my friends and family.

Heidee Deatrich should be a trainer for all EYEWORKS locations. I was at the Hulan location for an in-depth eye appointment. Excellent physician!! When finished I walked to the optical part of the group to begin the process of ordering glasses. Bad experience right from the start!!! I ended up leaving unhappy and discouraged. Started driving to get coffee thinking about my experience with the optical department and remembered I could try the 7th Street location in the Cultural District with hopes of better results. And yes, my experience was 150% better. Heidee asked great questions, offered great advice and suggestions. She did a lot of looking at me to be sure I was getting the right pair of glasses that fit ME for my lifestyle of work and pleasure. She knows her products and what she is doing. The staff at the Hulan location don’t talk, spend time with or help educate the customer at the level Heidee does. When leaving Heidee I felt someone else had my best interest in mind as well and wiser about frames and what is what. Thank you Heidee for an excellent experience coupled with a fantastic eye appointment with Dr Katherine Mor!!! You helped turn my day around!

I have been going to eyeworks for several years now. I have never had a bad experience with them.I do have to say, though, that Heidee is my favorite. Heidee is always sweet and very helpful, even when I have somehow broken my glasses, as I did today. No problem, Heidee took care of everything and I’m back to being able to see.Thanks again, Heidee! You’re awesome!

Mark was not very helpful. He was all over the place and did not get my glasses order correct, but was able to work with Clay and Heidee. They were able to make things right.

I usually visit the Hulen location, however I was recommended to the West 7th location this time. It took no time at all for them to pull up my records from Hulen and get me checked in. The paperwork was highlighted with what I needed to focus on and I promptly finished. The staff was punctual and to the point with my visit, but not in a dismissive way. That was definitely the quickest Ive been in and out of somewhere in a hot minute with patient and kind staff to boot! Dont forget a mask! Eyeworks is also extremely hygienic which is something I really appreciated, because I live with someone who is immunocompromised. I will definitely be coming back!

Parking is very confusing, be sure to park in the correct garage, or else you have to have a local retail or restaurant validate your ticket. I called the receptionist as I was trying to find parking and ask if she would be able to validate my parking ticket even though I Works was not listed on the sign at the enter ace to the garage of who could validate. She told me they could validate and to park on second or third floor. However when I got to the front desk the lady said I parked in the wrong garage and I should probably go move my car. I parked in the garage about 100 feet away from the correct garage.I was already 10 minutes late for my appointment so I decided I would rather just go buy a coffee from one of the coffee shops to get it validated then go move my car and be even later. All that said, be aware, There are multiple parking garages is all near each other.

First time in and the staff and Dr. Matthew were super nice. I like when the person helping you actually carries on a conversation with you during your visit not just parade you around the office. I definitely made the right choice on my new eye doctor.

Spotless and sterile facility! All safety measures in place. Nicest people. Best docs ever. State of the art equipment! Dr. Robert, Dr. Mor, and Dr.Richard are all outstanding in the field!! I’ve been to many places but stopped here at the top some years ago. No regrets!!

I have been wearing glasses for 20 years and this was truly the best experience I have ever had with selecting and being fitted with new frames for eyeglasses and sunglasses. Heidi helped me every step of the way, and thought of things I didnt even know to ask about. Very professional service. Great selection of frames too. My Chu Eye Institute Experience:I was looking for a good eye doctor and found and exceptional one with the Chu Eye Institute/Dr. Richard Chu! I seriously cannot recommend these guys enough. I have always had okay vision with glasses or contacts, but because of these guys I was finally able to fully see! I was able to read 20/20! Thats never happened before in my life. I have now had the Lasik eye surgery with them, and my life has improved tremendously! Thank you guys so much for all the miracles that you do.

My LASIK experience at EYEWORKS was amazing! Prior to the procedure, Dr. Richard Chu and his staff did a wonderful job of explaining everything and answering all of my questions. The surgery itself went quite smoothly and I could not believe how quickly I saw results. Dr. Chu even called to check on me later that day to see how I was feeling and to ask if I had any questions, which I really appreciated it. Being able to look around and see everything so clearly without glasses feels great. I’m very happy to have finally gone through with LASIK and would highly recommend Dr. Richard Chu for anyone who is considering having this procedure.

LASIK & DR. RICHARD CHU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE!!!I have been going to the Chu family for my vision care for almost 2 decades now. I have been in glasses/contacts for 16 years just waiting for the day my eyes stopped changing so I could get lasik eye surgery done. After getting my free evaluation & finding out I was a candidate, I knew for sure I wanted to have it done as soon as they could get me in. I dreaded the staying out of contacts for 2 weeks part because I basically lived in contacts, but it was SOOO worth it! There is no one else I would have trusted preforming my surgery other than Dr. Richard Chu. He made me feel comfortable & at ease during the entire procedure (which might I mention was only 20 minutes long, & the actual laser part was only 50 seconds an eye!) Being basically blind for over half of my life, (with a high rx of -6.50) I am now able to see things I could NEVER see even with my contacts! Getting lasik was the financially smartest decision I have made as an adult! :) Now that I don’t have to worry about saving money for contacts, I can buy a bunch of cute sunglasses with this new found “bonus” money ;)

The service here is BEYOND AMAZING! If you are looking service, come here. Hulen and Southlake don’t even compare, I drive and extra 30 mins here rather than going to Hulen because the manager Heiden and her co worker Donna go above and beyond for everyone here! They talk to you as friends rather than just customers! Love them and this location !

My experience has been wonderful. There is such an atmosphere of excellence. From the moment I arrived for my first appointment, I knew that I was in the right place. The care has been more than I could have imagined. I will be recommending Dr Chu and his staff to anyone that needs great eye care.

I have seen dr. Lena chua she found the cataracts. So I ask her about doing my surgery. And she said no my son Richard is the best. And she was correct. I now have perfect vision. I wear reading glasses. And the worst part of the surgery is the eye shield for sleeping. Thanks so much to all of staff and doctors.

I had cataracts removed and my lens replaced. The staff was very informative about what to expect prior, during and after the surgery. Dr. Richard Chu and his staff was awesome and I had a wonderful experience, and the surgical procedure was a success. I am now able to see 20/20 after two weeks of having the procedure done. I havent had any problems and I would recommend EyeWorks to anyone who is considering any corrective vision surgery.

Dr. Chu did my mothers cataract surgery on her right eye. They took great care of her. Next, her left eye.

Dr.Chu and all his staff are absolutely the best ! I cannot believe how he removed my cataracts and put in a restore lens so that i can see clearly ! It seems like a miracle to me. Everyone is so nice and kind and helpful. They really care about each patient. Dr Chu is my hero!

I had my right eye cataract surgery 02/26/2019.I was so scared going into surgery, however, I was surprised just how fast and painless the procedure was. I travelled from Naples Florida because of Dr. Richard Chus amazing reputation from friends and family that live in the DFW area. My vision was count fingers and I couldnt even see the big letter on the eye chart. Dr. Richard Chu and his staff made me feel like I was their only patient. I will forever be grateful that he restored my vision... At one day post op, I now see 20/20!! I could not believe just how much I had been missing out on by waiting for as long as I did. Truly, this place is everything that everyone has said and so much more.. 5 stars doesnt even come close to what Dr. Richard Chu truly deserves.

Outstanding customer service. Dr. Richard Chu is the best. I had cataract surgery on both of my eyes one on January 9 and 23rd The procedure was seamless no complications and no pain during or after either surgery. I have not experienced any swollen or redness in either eye. The best news of all when I went for my follow up visit the Doctor the day after each surgery I had 20/20 vision after each surgery. If you need cataract surgery I recommend Dr Chu at Chu Eye Institute.

I was very disappointed with one of their staff that I had to visit 5 times to fix the frame that never got fixed properly and never apologized. In addition, I called several times to refund the extra money that I have been charged for the progressive lenses and never called me back. It was a very a bad experience. Very disappointed with their service this time.
