I made a custom order for baby shower. It was my very first time to hold the event like this, so I was very nervous about it. I was so glad that everybody was impressed by the cute and delicious donuts! I appreciate their kind service and donuts, they really helped me to give my friend a wonderful baby shower 😊

These are the fanciest donuts Ive ever seen! It was also extremely hard to chose just one, so of course I got 2.... They were delicious almost like little cakes, very moist, good flavor and the frosting was to die for and reasonably priced 2 only cost $4.

I’ve been craving a mochi donut for literal years and the matcha mochi donut I got here hit the spot!! Perfectly chewy and not too sweet. I avoid gluten and this was one of the few gluten friendly mochi donut places I could find - really glad I found this place and will be back again :)

A bit on the pricey side, but they make donuts with interesting designs, so thats worth it I guess.One thing that Id like to point out is that they dont do cash/card transaction on the spot. I assume this is a safety precautions during the pandemic (good move I think). So even if youre planning to buy on the spot, you will still need to order online. The process is very quick. Once you order, it will generate a work order on their system and your donuts will be packed right away. Quick and painless.I got their mochi donuts today and they were so good. Its light and not too sweet, so it doesnt leave you bloated. A big fan and definitely will come back for more!

This is a must try place.. Theyre a bit pricey I agree but when you consider, the feel you get and the designs and sweet people..I think its worth it.. we loved the place and will definitely take our kids here for breakfast.. plus theyre not extremely sweet/sugary as some other places do..

Gonutz is definitely a spot to come to if you want some good photos for your food pic portfolio. Their donuts are picturesque and colorful!We ordered a smores donut and the specialty unicorn donut during our visit. The smores donut was very flavorful and had a rich chocolate flavor. The unicorn donut was really pretty, but didnt taste much like anything but sugar. Overpriced for its looks! Im not sure what flavor I was expecting anyway...the donuts arent labeled in the case, but there is a list of them on the menu board with descriptions and prices, which makes it difficult to determine which donut is which. At least the smores donut was more reasonably priced and tasted great!They do have more drink options here than your typical donut shop, so you can grab some boba with your morning treat. I ordered a matcha latte and he asked if I wanted hot or iced. I said iced and he said it would be blended like a smoothie, so I decided not to order it anymore. Thats not an iced option or a latte at all! They were also out of Thai tea, which is a pretty simple and commonly ordered drink.Gonutz is worth a visit if you want to get some fun photos, but otherwise Id rather go down the street to get more unique flavors at Bun Appetit.

With the weekend fast approaching, one can imagine pressing operations for any business.We inquired and placed an order on a short notice, and they were able to rise to the challenge and deliver. Consideration was shown by informing us what the projected cost would be and providing an estimated time of completion. Very thorough with a stream of updates. All this while multitasking with other customers.Interaction at the location was pleasant and professional - they verified what was made before handing over the items, and assisted us to the vehicle.Upon arrival to our office, while constructing the display we were swarmed by curious individuals.Needless to say it was a hit - employees were ecstatic, photos were taken and the atmosphere was lively. A great way to start a weekend.Well worth the trip from San Mateo, and looking forward to doing business with them in future celebrations.

Headed over to try the donuts out on a Thursday AM. Tons of ppl coming and going. The worker had to keep opening and closing the door awkwardly above a table almost a dozen times while we waited. Better signage would be extremely helpful.Here’s the rundown:- everything is contactless, which means yes, no cash or ordering there. There’s a QR code to scan and order- wait, what? QR code? Yup, your iPhone camera can scan it and bring you to the page. Androids too.- for faster service, order ahead. We didn’t do this, and saw 4-5 ppl get their orders before us.- while constant orders and pickups are happening, it was never crowded. Again, this was a Thursday morning thoI personally preferred the glazed donuts vs the sugary ones. Mochi donuts is where it’s at. Sesame by was far my fav.4 stars!

The donuts are gorgeous, no doubt! I used the Yelp check-in deal to score six donuts for the price of five. On a Friday afternoon, the donut selection was pretty bare with only a few of their specialty donuts on display. In terms of taste, I thought the donuts we bought were pretty standard; the donuts were light but pretty bread-y (and keep in mind we didnt buy any of the ones that had insane amounts of icing on top). The one that stood out to me the most was probably the blueberry cake donut. The workers were nice, but not overly friendly. The owner (?) was walking around the shop talking to some contractors (?) for the door but completely ignored us, so my family and I were sitting in the shop awkwardly feeling like we were disrupting a meeting since we were the only other people in the store for awhile.

One of the BEST donut ever had!! They got a lot of custom variety flavor that different from traditional donut. If you want to try something new. Highly recommend!!

Mochi donuts are the best! Made of rice flour means my insides will not burn and hate me for hours on end! Yay! Also, they have plain and fancy options. The best! Taro sugar donuts are my fave. The strawberry sugar are the ones that taste the most like the flavor they wanna imitate so thats cool, but Taro forever.

Gourmet doughnuts have come to Fremont.I was initially skeptical about it - I love the renowned Sidecar doughnuts in Southern california and many have tried to imitate their doughnuts. Ive been disappointed by too many subpar copycats but I have to say this place nails it. I ordered the creme brulee and wow, I am in heaven. There was REAL creme brulee, not just whipped cream and burnt sugar. The price is high for a doughnut - in my opinion if I want a doughnut, I want a DOUGHNUT, done right. At the price point you are paying for 1) Freshly made fluffy doughnuts that are 2)intricately assembled with care (Just look at the special order unicorns! and 3) creative flavors and toppings.A great option for some tasty treats (:

I love Mochi donuts there, little pricy but worth it. My favorite one is the Sesame Mochi Donut. It has a chewy texture in it.

Meh. Donut was flavorless, which was disappointing because it had the right texture and consistency. To boot, the price was high for what it was. I dont mind paying a premium for quality and unique items, this was neither.The smoothie was also flavorless, Im guessing they use too much ice as it seemed watered down, which again made it overpriced.Staff was OK, but (and I can only guess it was the supervisor) requested we take our order to go as they were closing in 20 min. I definitely didnt get the full item, like Ive seen in the photos, due to this. I literally sat in my car and ate everything before they closed, so I could have easily sat in the store and had the full experience with the special smoothie.The photos of the cool looking smoothie with the donut on top is a lie as well, though I guess it doesnt matter considering the features of the drink are below average.$8.50 for this disappointing experience. No thanks, Ill take my business elsewhere.

Gifted a box of these amazing donuts today and fell in love with your red velvet with cream cheese frosting.... the best donut Ive ever tasted in my entire life....my friend ate 5 (yes 5) of your croissant donuts with cream and berries inside.... delicious and hands down the best.....

The artistry was impressive, unfortunately the quality of the actual donut was mediocre. Tried 4 different donuts. The jelly filled had 1spot (less than quarter sized) of actual jelly in the middle, when i say middle i mean resting on the top, not inside the donut. All donuts had been cooked in oil that was not hot enough, this allowed oil to seep into the donut.

My daughter and I are Black.My daughter is 11yo and wanted some Gonutz.We get to the front door, not knowing that orders have to be placed in advance, and try to order but are turned away and told to order online.So we go back to the car to order online.I think an exception could have been made for an 11yo.I go back to the line to get the order. In front of me are 2 older White ladies who put in a order at the door, the stores pulls out the ipad and they instruct the lady paying to input her information to pay for their order.The cashier was very helpful in telling the lady heres your receipt and we will can your number when your order is ready.I talked to a Asian guy who was also told to order online while being in front of the stor. At that point I decided I will never patronize Gonutz ever again. Prejudice is not just in Law enforcement but its also subtle in businesses as well!!!I appreciate the quick response to my post.I also understand the guidelines for Covid-19.It would have been simple for the cashier who directed us to order food online that the only thing we could order at the door was Rabbit Tea. If that information would have been disclosed then there would be no substandard review. We were not given that option or even hear about the tea

This quaint little donut shop is absolutely beautiful. The staff is warm and welcoming, the donuts are delicious and adorable, and the aesthetic is amazing. There are cute little peonies adorning the left wall upon entry and gorgeous crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. If you like red velvet, they have some tasty red velvet donuts with cream cheese icing that are probably the best I’ve ever had.

Dont have a smart phone? Smartphone broken? Youre S.O.L! They REFUSE in person orders and phone orders. ONLY online orders. Even with a plastic screen shielding the door, employees & customers donning masks and everything. I drove out of my way to go here for a specific type of doughnut to cheer me up after my phone broke earlier in the morning and I couldnt even order anything because I couldnt place an online order with a non working smartphone. Asked if I could phone one in with my non-smart phone and was told ONLY online. Great if online orders are an available option and I would prefer it if I had the ability to because: pandemic. NOT okay that they are the ONLY method of getting doughnuts, especially when youre standing outside to shop and already know what you want and have a payment method and hand sanitizer in-hand to sanitize your hands and card before and after handing it over....

Ive been trying to find a place in Fremont that sells mochi donuts and I found it. Gonutz is definitely the place to go if youre looking for either the most instagram-worthy donuts, killer mochi donuts, or crazy fun donuts to try.Im a huge fan of their mochi donuts because its light and chewy. Its very reminiscent of the ones I had in Japan and in Hawaii. They also carry a variety of flavors and arent crazy expensive. Their non-mochi donuts are also really good. Their donuts have a nice ratio of doughy-ness to fluffiness.Aside from fulfilling your donut cravings, their donuts also make for great birthday treats. They have beautifully decorated donuts! If you go on their website, you can see what special donuts they have on the weekends.Ordering is also super easy. You can order online and pickup or get donuts delivered to you.

This donut place is really nice cool and very clean! The donuts are big and awesome however the ice cream scoops are kinda small and they do not serve any cones for the ice cream. No cones at all. Still the place is seriously clean and the people are great!

This is a donut shop of a different kind you can get the famous bacon and maple donuts red velvet they would be great to use instead of a birthday cake. They also have special coffee drinks and ice cream, and tea is served only on weekends. $$

Donuts were great. They were out of almost everything when we came around 3pm on a Saturday but the lady working made my daughter a cookie monster (took about 5 minutes but was super detailed and she made it pink!). Everyone was nice. Limited seating though.

I was disappointed by the experience. They made me order donuts online when I arrived. I did twice but the website didnt work. Eventually I gave up after 20 minutes and left. Too much work for two donuts. I hope they worked out their issues.

Definitely not worth the price. A Nutella donut cost $4.50 and it’s just a basic sugar coated donut with a thing of Nutella on the side. And their basic chocolate donut is not as great either. 7 Eleven has better tasting chocolate.

I LOVE there Mochi donuts!!! I live in Pleasanton and I will drive all the way from Pleasanton to Fremont just to get some of these donuts.😊 They have unique and very delicious flavors for these donuts such as green tea, sugary mango ( I think it’s mango), and sugary berry. There regular donuts as well are very good!!! I recommend this donut shop to anyone who is a true lover of donuts!😊😊

I was lured to this spot because I saw a photo of their donut wall. Im rarely in the Fremont area, but decided to swing by because I had to drop something off nearby. Its a cute spot, with adorable-looking donuts, but your average special flavors like blueberry, ube and something with bacon.I decided to make use of the Yelp deal, buy 5 get one free. The total came out to about $18. Once I got into my car, I could smell the super sweet sugar. I tried a bite of the blueberry cake donut and it was very dense and way too sweet for my taste.I saved the rest for home, and had my family try the donuts. While they are all adorable, the tastes just wasnt doing it for it. They were wayyyy too sweet, and this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth. The dough was also too dense in my opinion. So if youre looking for adorable instagram-worthy donuts, youve come to the right place. If youre coming for tastes, make sure youre into super sweet and dense donuts.
