Must try their Malai Kulfi Sundae (not ice cream)

Very good place for Indian style ice cream.. we totally loved it. Price is not high.. decent prices. Service was good.. overall worth trying..

This Nirvana location was not clean and well kept at all. Management has no interest in the maintenance/upkeep. Understaffed workforce and dirty preparation tables, even the ice cream labels are hand written from a random notebook paper, only shows the lack of carelessness/organization.Looks and feels like a desi roadside dhabha, which was disappointing!

Great variety of flavors. Especially their pan flavor and malai kulfi.

Amazing icecream flavors that remind us of the icecream we get in India. You will find Paan, malai kulfi, falooda and lots of indian sweets flavors here. The service can be improved though as most of the time its vey slow. Must try!

They changed thier badshai falooda. Quality has gone down for sure. They seriously need to have proper labels for their ice creams... Gives off a horrible impression.

Bad customer service, wrong labels on ice creams, messy counter, no music, and had to explain our order multiple times.They ended up messing up the order as well and giving us two double scoops when we only asked for one resulting in us paying for them.Customer service SERIOUSLY lacking here.Not a 1 star because the ice cream was good though.

Falooda was tasty 😋 and the ambience was quite okay ! The taste of Sitaphal was not upto the mark it was just like more of vanilla based flavour, It would be nice if you guys provide restrooms for your customers atleast 🥴

Very tasty ice cream.

I had taken one cake for my 10th anniversary… but this turn out to be worst cake in my life .. instead of fresh cream it was made of the sugar icing .. due to that it was too much sweet and oily .. I was expecting it to be fresh cream but it turn out to be worst cake .. I had paid $60 for such bad cake .. simply wastage … but ice cream was good .. I like the ice cream and Faluda ..

Cool concept...ice cream in traditional Indian flavors. Service was friendly but very slow. Line was so long with only one person working who was serving and at the register. If I hadnt promised my kids ice cream, I would have left.This place hasnt been maintained well either. Counter top was chipping away and overall cleanliness lacked.

Im only talking about the experience placing order for an ice cream cake. They only take orders in store. If in case, they agree to take an order over phone, make sure they got it right and you make the payment over the phone. You wont get the cake otherwise.I wasnt asked any payment details over the phone and so just assumed we pay in store. I was told by the lady who speaks hindi that I could come the next day to collect the cake, but when I went there, they refused to acknowledge that any order was placed. Luckily, they had a cake that we wanted. Its plain miscommunication that could have been avoided.Edit: but the cake was a big hit.

Didnt taste good. I bought the Falooda ice cream in two flavors and mango strawberry ice cream. All of them were a disappointment and were priced high. Not going to return!

Beware! Worst customer service! I rang my order in twice and when I arrived, they had not prepared anything for me! When I explained that I had called in advance 6 minutes earlier they denied it. The servers were unapologetic I felt better when the next customer had the same issue except they tried to force him to take something he had not ordered! He refused and stood his ground and the server had to go back and start over!

Faluda kulfi is great..! But the seeds are frozen hard as ice ..! Otherwise its okay

Today it happened for the 4th time that I visited the place and was returned back saying they are out of Falooda. Then I order on Doordash after 5 minutes and the same location prepared it. Although I love their ice-creams but this experience sucks.

Decent place overall but how can there be no restrooms in a place like that ??No Restroom handwritten sign on a notebook paper stuck on the wall.. another sign no restroom again on a page ripped from a notebook taped on the wall.. a little more professionalism will make this nice place even better !

The ice cream is rich and delicious. Always interesting flavors and you can try before buying. Makes a nice desert after visiting the Afghan Kabob next door. It is a little pricey.

A go-to place for me and I take all my friends, whoever visits me here in bay area. Their menu is really unique and they do a really great job in making the ice cream stand for the mentioned flavor. Thandai, pan and Alphonso mango are my top 3 here.

Delicious ice cream shop 😋

Ice cream tasted great and they had a large variety of flavors including mango, kulfi, pan etc. They offer 4 cup sizes and only take cash for anything less than $10. Limited seating in the shop and it can get loud as it is a big shop with no sound dampening. Staff was patient and polite. Parking can get busy here.

Good stuff. Indian ice cream shakes (falooda) are on the many to. Not expensive. I had something like a Sunday truffle. It was fine. They accepted cash only if the order was below a certain amount.

Ice creams are ok! Ive had better variety and good ice creams in other places though not Desi. This place is dirty and unhygienic.

I love something different, and one of the things Im am always happy to try is ice cream. Nirvanaah is a great place to go. They do have a small selection of the standard flavors youll find in everyday ice cream shops but its the flavors they mark as special that get your taste buds going. The group i was with tried a few different things, but I first tried a pistachio and something else (sorry, I dont recall) which was great, but decided on the Mukhwas. I found that out of this world, the flavors and textures made it one of the best cones Ive had in a long time.

If you are nostalgic for any traditional Indian flavored ice cream then this place is a good try.Ive tried the pan and kosar pista flavors and felt like it tasted similar to the packaged Indian ice creams you get at the Indian grocery stores where a pint costs as much as you pay here for a scoop.However Im glad they at least have a place that offers Indian flavored ice cream

I was a little skeptical of the idea that ice cream could be 100% vegetarian, contain no eggs, yet still be delicious.Well? It turns out it IS possible! Ive tried more than ten flavors here, and have yet to pick a dud. ALL the ice creams are plant-based with fruits and nuts and all kinds of interesting flavors. I dont speak any Indian dialects, so figuring out the ingredients can be a challenge. Live large- throw a dart!

I went to buy off the shelf cake from this place. Lady asked me for how many people? I asked for @8. She said she will get me 8” one. It was so small that i could not believe it is 8” so I took my iPhone to measure and showed her it is 6”. Regardless I asked for 10” one and here she gave me it is not even 8” ! End is not here, after I paid she did not give me receipt that was already printed. so I asked for and she was scrambling and printing another one. Finally she gave me 2 receipts of 6” ones with $20 of each! May be she was trying to save on taxes and franchise fees! I argued once about wrong receipt but did not want to waste time. But this place is definitely CUTTING ON QUANTITY..

Roasted almond ice cream is pathetic. The almonds are not roasted and they taste bitter, taking away all the goodness. Rest of the flavours are good.

The place is well designed and very clean. When I tried the ice cream I was insanely surprised. Good service and friendly staff. You should come to this place if you are craving for ice cream!!!

Terrible place to get Ice Cream. The lady in front of us told the lady behind the counter that she was ready to order and the lady said yeah yeah and continued texting on her phone. Plus I got dirty looks from the lady behind the counter. And their prices are outrageous for such a small amount of ice cream. Both thumbs down for this place!!!

I ordered the strawberry-Mango Surprise. When i got my ice cream, it didnt have strawberry icream nor did it have the strawberry sauce. When i asked them, they said they ran out of strawberry icecream. It would have been nice if they told me this before. They just assumed that i would be ok with watever they gave me. Very Disappointed

They have good Indian flavored ice cream but the only thing is their scoop size is very small and they charge same amount for a scoop that you spend in baskin Robbins & cold stone. I ordered cassata ice cream for my guest n when I opened to serve at home then I saw that the slice was extremely thin. I was so embarrassed to serve that thin slice.If they want to compete in the market then they should serve the right sized scoop & slice for the prize they charge. I stopped going there n prefer to spend same amount at baskin Robbins .

Indian ice cream made 100% vegetarian and so yummy. Highly recommend their Meetha Paan and Alfonso Mango. So yum!

Theres a wide range of traditional south Asian flavors, like saffron pistachio, mithai, and cardamom malai; but there is also a case full of more standard American style flavors as well. Not for the lactose intolerant or those trying to diet, but it lives up to its name- each bite is a little bit of heaven.
