They keep promising what they can’t deliver. They have canceled a scheduled delivery twice and they canceled it 45 minutes before the delivery time. They don’t have the decency to even notify cancellation a day or two early so customer doesn’t have to cancel other commitments. Now they don’t even know when they’ll be able to deliver which makes me think that they may not even have the car in possession. Anyways, as soon as I am able to get through the phone to them I’ll cancel my order. Needless to say that I won’t make the mistake of dealing with them again.
Unsure how to review Carvana itself as a company, so I will have to settle for leaving a review on the location. Delivery was about 30-40 minutes late after receiving a call that they would be at my location in 15 minutes. Received the car and it looked great, but I took it to an auto shopto get inspected...and they did not pass it. The rustiest mess you can imagine, all hidden underneath...and on top of that they wanted 20k for it. Mechanic said the car waa barely worth 5k since the work needed to save it was 12k worth. If that car is passing their 150 inspection then buyer beware you might be getting a piece of junk conveniently brought to you.
We love Carvana! My husband and I used them in 2017, and couldn’t stop raving about their amazing Customer experience. Unfortunately, we bought from a local dealer last year and WOOF! We couldn’t have been happier with our latest purchase today with Carvana! Jorge delivered our new vehicle with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. We enjoyed the minutes we spent with him, and he made sure we were comfortable and well informed of the process. Jorge really made our day and we stand relieved to have once again experienced the most relaxing and rewarding way to buy a car.
Linzie from Carvana was great!Bought a new car from here and was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was. Filled out all paperwork online and Linzie took care of me from there. She was great in handling the delivery, my trade in, and even drove out of her way to personally deliver an item we accidentally left in our trade in vehicle. Really great customer service, very simple, way better than a dealership.
Of course one would be skeptical of a “car vending machine” but I am here to tell you I will never by a car any other way! My purchase went so smooth and the customer service was phenomenal ! Any concerned I had was addressed and any questions I had were answered! I would recommend Carvana to anyone .
So it was easy to find a car…until they called me and told me the car I bought was already sold to someone else. In fact, they sold the car to three other people on accident, due to a IT error. Offered to pay me back for shipping on another car, that wouldn’t be able to arrive for at least 5-7 days.Have to say, as much as I loved buying a car from my couch; it was poor follow through on their part. I had signed my contract and everything for my car before I was told that the car I bought wouldn’t actually be mine. Sorry Carvana, I wanted to love you but that shouldn’t be happening.
Got approved. Signed e contracts. Income was verified but for some reason they said my income wasn’t enough. Which doesn’t make sense I get paid in large amounts from checks. They ran my credit twice overall better going to a dealership
Outstanding experience in buying a car throughout the process.Just purchased a Mercedes SL550, which came in great condition. Had the car inspected after purchase and found one of the wheels had cracks in it (a common problem for this particular vehicle due to low profile tires) the 30 day guarantee Carvana offers covered the entire job of replacing the rim at no charge to me at the local Mercedes dealership.Assuming theyll have the vehicles Im looking for in inventory next time, theres absolutely no reason Id bother with traditional dealerships again.EDIT: I should have also mentioned the truly remarkable amount they paid for my trade-in vehicle (350Z shown in pic). Easily $2K more than I expected for this 13 yr old car.
Every car purchase should be this easy. Every one of them.
Worst car buying experience ever. I should’ve read reviews before. They don’t hold themselves accountable to the date and time you scheduled for. They waited until 3 hours before to text me telling me they are pushing it off another 2 days. When I responded to let them know I am out a vehicle and it will affect my commute to work because I scheduled around the time THEY gave me, the rep leaves me on Read and won’t respond. I’ve been on hold for a rep for 40 min and no answer. I’ve also gotten the text to sign the contract for the THIRD TIME? Do not buy from here, what a headache.Edit: to cancel I had to call 3 times to get someone to help me cancel. The First Lady hung up and didn’t call back, the second time I was on hold until it timed out and hung up.
To begin, I work nights and got off at 7am the day Im tu pick up my car. I told myself, Ill just take a little nap until 1030 then get to the lot early for my 1130 appointment. Yeah, I woke up at 1130!!! I called to let them know I was running late, they were so nice and assured me it was ok. I arrived and my paperwork was ready for me. After signing my life away, they handed me my keys and the silver coin for their famous car vending machine. See video. The whole experience was fantastic. Never in my life did i ever think, one day Ill own a BMW and yet here we are. Thank you Carvana! I love my BMW 330e iPerformance Sedan!!!!
Every situation is unique and I am sure there are plenty of good experiences with Carvana, but mine was less than ideal. After deciding to trade my car in with them, I had to call Carvana to ensure that something was entered correctly on my order. I spoke with an agent who helped get everything solved. Next thing I know, this agent is texting me from his personal device to ask me if I wanted to be friends with him on social media and he proceeded to flirt with me. I was shocked. My personal information was supposed to be secure, but it was taken by this employee and used inappropriately. I went to management with screenshots and my concerns, asking them for help to ensure me that my personal data was secure and not at risk. Management was very rude and did not offer much in the form of assurance. The ordeal was dragged out for several days. Not once did Carvana offer to make the situation right by offering even the slightest reduction in the price of the car, or something to make up for the trouble. At this point, going to a dealership would have been easier. To add insult to injury, when I picked up the new car, it had body damage that was not noted on the listing and they also put temporary plates on that were set to expire in 2 days. Not sure if I am keeping the car or not. Don’t feel great about doing business with a company who has this kind of customer service attitude. They did offer to fix the body damage, so that is something. I will let you draw your own conclusions. Sounds like some people have flawless experiences with this company and others have terrible ones. Does not seem to be a whole lot of in between…
Most wonderful experience of my life! Oscar and the Carvana made sure I was getting the best! Customer service is amazing! Cant believe it they even have me a birthday present in my back seat! What car dealership does this! The vending machine wasnt working all the way but I did get to see part of it and use my coin! I am EXTREMELY happy and EXCITED about my purchase! I will be recommending yall to any and everyone! Thanks Carvana ❤️
I will never buy another car any other way. It took literally minutes for the whole process. Bought a Mercedes C300. Gotta call on my pick date saying they had found a couple of problems. They took it to the Mercedes dealership before I arrived for pick up. I went inside signed a few papers walked out as they are bringing me my car back from the dealership. And I was back on my way home. The car was detailed. Full of gas. Smelled great on the inside. Everyone I spoke to was really helpful and friendly. Ill be a customer for life! Love my car. Thanks Guys!
Worst experience ever. Late to the appointment. Porter nails the curb right in front of me while delivering the car. Tire goes completely flat on the ride home. Less than 20 miles. Called and told them I wanted to return the car. The no questions asked thing is total BS. After 1 week of nonsense chat battles I had to have the tire fixed out of my own pocket. Then they agreed to come get the car. Car sat outside for 24 hours after the tow truck was supposed to come. I had to call and let them know it was still on the street. Another 8 days of neglect before the processed my refund. Horrible. Will never do business again.
Im in the process of selling my 2013 Beetle and attempted to use Carvana as their purchase price was better than the 2 VW dealers to which I went. My 1st appt. on Wed. almost made it but the nice young lady to whom I talked was running behind and we had already gone to dinner. She kindly rescheduled my appt. for Thurs. Unfortunately, that appt. came and went without even a phone call from the Field Advocate as to why the appt. did not occur. I may try one more time with Carvana, but they definitely need to work on the communication skills of this particular individual. If I had his/her name Id give them a shoutout so theyd know.
I unfortunatelywent throughalot with Carvana and mistakes that were made. But I am changing my review because of how hard and everything they did to fix what happened. I will continue to buy my vehicles through Carvana. Thank you for fixing the issues and trying to help make it less stressful. 😊
Stay away! You are not dealing with professionals. I bought a car from here exactly 1 month ago! Drove 200 miles after 1 month and it stopped and the highway, left me stranded, the warranty company had it towed, now will not pay to repair it and the mechanic let me know the engine is faulty and was bad when I bought it. I cannot believe I got so badly scammed. Now I am without a vehicle, and Carvana or silver rock has not a care in the world! I have never been more stressed and dealt with such crooks! Save yourself and avoid this place!
Caravana is truly one of the most horrible places to buy a car first the car you agree to purchase isnt the one you get second even though you upload the EXACT documents they ask for they will not be excepted if your on a joint account with your spouse and dont even consider it if your 1099 or self employed not to mention every customer service representative you speak with has only 2 brain cells and those 2 dont even communicate with each other hang it up guys and gals your better off going to the tote the note
A shout out to Mr. Ardrey Sanders for taking such good care of us. We purchased Hyundai Kona EV and traded our car with them. Never had such a smooth trade in and buying of a car. We did get into a slight glitch, when we saw that the car came with a worn out charger butMr. Ardrey was there to correct the situation for us immediately. Honesty goes a long way . Thanks, will definitely recommend Carvana and will shop again with them.
Just sold them my 2019 Chrysler 300, the whole process took about 20 minutes, super smooth and easy.
I am very happy with Carvana, I sold my car to them with an easy and fast process. I recommend buying and selling the cars through them.
I visited the store thinking that I could browse through a menu of available cars but the associate explained the whole process of purchasing online with the option to pick up at the store. The associate was very friendly and didnt make me feel like an incompetent bother. Definitely will consider making a purchase with #Carvana.
I wish I could give ZERO STARS!!! I purchased my car in begin on May and we are now on ending of August and I have not gotten my plates! I have called several times every time I get the same answer that its had been submitted to the DMV and to wait 2-3 weeks. I have been told this numerous times and its fraustating to just get my plates for my vehicle. 5 months with and counting for and the DMV does not have anything on file for me when I call them to start!!!! I would not ever go back to Carvana I have never had this experience with ANY other car lot this is beyond ridiculous!!!!!!!!! Basically seems like my plates are lost in the wind!
The car i purchased - TRASH!!!I purchased 2014 VW Passat in oct 2020. I should have not purchased when two previous Passat i tried to get thru them got down to inspections and both times i was emailed to say car didnt pass and i had to select another car or i could wait to see if the issue could be resolved. Of course both times i selected another Passat and ended up getting one delivered. the car started having issues about 30 days later ..heater didnt work but i had purchased extended warranty. I took it to vw dealership and it was fixed no problem. 2 weeks later car stalled took it back to dealer ship. They said issue covered under vw warranty..hmm???ok fixed ...one week later car completely stopped a late sat night on side of the road !!! I had to get it towed to dealership. This was March 2021. The car is still in vw dealership since march. A known TDI TURBO problem and the part is on backorder in Germany estimated date of October 2021!!Guess whos still paying car note and full coverage insurance.Carvana customer service says they cant help meBridge crest the finance company no idea what i should do ???Vw dealership wouldnt even let me trade in the car because they say car isnt drivable. But its your carrrrr? I found out they had a buyback for this issue with vw but it expired before i purchased my carIm just wondering how was the car even sold with this known issuei will have had my car 1 year in Oct and the car has been in the shop 9 months out of that time...any suggestions ?is this a lemon?I dont want to voluntary give back the car and have a repo?
I was planning to trade in for a Lexus RX at Carvana and I was shocked from the trade in value … I got 10K higher from kbb, Edmonds and carmax for my 2016 CPO MDX advanced model clean carfax one owner. I thought to call Carvana maybe they have a glitch or something is wrong … that was a mistake …all what they can do is keep repeating the same statement again and again and bare no effort to double check their system. I would prefer to keep chatting with the bot on their website than talking to them. Just beware the computerized system they use does not cover all options per vehicle year and model. I am not negotiating but the gap is way too far. I was at dealership and was told Mdx less options more miles were getting higher trade in value than mine which was surprising and did not make any sense. We thought that must be a computer glitch. That is just confirm online auto sales i don’t recommend.
Getting pre-approved and shopping for a car is easy, everything else that goes with buying a car is a huge pain in the backside.
Vehicle not as advertised. Promised we would receive a check in the mail to make up the difference. We received the check for $100 for an option that normally costs $1000+. Air conditioner went out after 2 months of owning the vehicle. Warranty will not cover the issue because the vehicle is now 300 miles over the warranty. Although none of their approved mechanics will repair the air conditioner. The vehicle was under the mileage before, but after a week of trying to find an in network repair facility driving all over DFW with no luck. The vehicle is now out of warranty and they will not cover it.
This people sold me a lemon. They work from home so you cant get in touch with a supervisor . Brought my car in april. They sold me a car out of warranty. So many issues . I brought a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica It has broken down 4 times in the middle of the road with my kids. Everytime i pay for one thing to be fixed something else breaks down. They wont help with anything . Told me it was my fult for buying a used vechile. I will proceed with a lawsuit!
I waited a year to do this review. I had a hard time picking a car so I went through my 3 choices. I love my car and have referred others to carvana.
Awesome Experience. Sold my car and just came out with the check in 3 mins. All paperwork were ready, few signs, hand over the keys/title, they gave back number plate and all set. Million times better than Carmax and They give much better car value. This is truly amazing customer experience. Not only in cars but never experienced such a smooth and quick process before in anything
Im old school but that was an experience of epic proportions loved it totally
This was the fastest and easiest I’ve ever sold a vehicle. The entire process took minutes and was paid all positive equity instantly and they paid way more then VRoom or carmax. Definitely recommend
Horrible experience! No one ever reviewed the paper work to sell my car after I received the offer! No LIVE PERSON to speak to.. I tried calling and texting and the response was always “ I’ll have someone reach out that can help” that never happened. Called customer service to speak about the issue, they left me on hold for 21.30 seconds and then hung up. Worst experience ever!!!
Soooo easy to work with! Great experience selling my car. 👍🚙
Not a good place to sell your car they will always quote low than other dealers better try shift.com
Great Experience!!! Awesome Buy!!! We got there and we were greeted by a guy already helping someone. Who didnt get a chance to finish telling us someone would help us shortly, before our person of contact stepped out. Fast Service. Truly amazing. They turned out to be (OK), but no issues what so ever, theyre in (TX) now. Hi, Becky.Seriously, I recommend you do your own research. But we had a damn good time here. Thanks for the service.
It was fun but had to wait an hour. Vending machine was broke, but they faked it for us anyway.
I sold my car to carvana and will never buy from a dealership again. As many state no hassle paperwork was ready. In and out in 10 minutes. She even double checked and gave me things I forgot in the car. Also, they gave me more than people were going to give me as private party price. I did not purchase another car but when I do it will be there. I highly recommend.
For the first time ever I can say that I LOVED my car buying experience! It seems unconventional at first to buy a car online but after purchasing my new ride with Carvana I will never buy at a dealership again. As an added bonus my sales agent Linzie was absolutely wonderful to work with, she answered all of my questions timely and made the transaction seem effortless considering this was my first online car purchase. She is a rock star! Thank you again, Linzie! :-)
What a treat buying a car was. (Something I never thought I would say.) I did everything online and went to pick up at my scheduled time. Taylor was great and I was out in 15 minutes.Last time I went to buy a car it was 2+ hours of them trying to load me up with a bunch of stuff I didn’t want.See y’all in a few years. 👍🏻
What a great way to buy a car! No middle man. Everything happened on time, and I had a trade in. Fantastic experience!
Great experience. Got a 2019 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4x4 and love it.
I will never go to another dealership ever! I initiated the process Friday evening. My order is complete and my vehicle will be delivered in 6 days. Wow...seamless
Such great experience!!! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who need to sell/buy their car to this Carvana. Excellent customer service, Will is so friendly and processed our paperwork in just minutes. No hassle, super easy and five star service!
Awful service. Online system wasn’t working. So I called the 800 number provided. Agent over the phone told me I needed to go to Carvana. When I got to Carvana I was told they couldn’t help me and I needed to do it online. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else to buy or sell a car!
I bought a car from DriveTime (thats who youre really dealing with here) mostly because they had a vehicle in stock that matched what Id been looking for for a few months. Purchase and delivery were smooth but they cant seem to provide me with anything other than temp tags so far since April 8. It is now June 8.April 8 was the typical Carvana dog and pony show, glitzy delivery experience to my home and thats fine, but the service after the sale is subprime.DriveTime did reach out and provide an additional temp tag but it was kind of sketch. They sent me a tag from Tennesee (yo, this Texas!) with an insulting 3 extra days validity. So am I supposed to take my license plate bracket apart weekly for little dribs and drabs of legal driving, when I paid top-dollar for a brand new car from a captive in-house lender that DriveTime controls?!Subprime service. Registration hassle. I think I get three texts and two emails for each loan payment. Yo! This aint a payday loan I signed up for, I dont need this hand-holding either. What I need is a registration sticker and a plate. Like ASAP. Im done.If youre reading this and youre also a CarVana/DriveTime customer whos been screwed on registration like Ive been, please reach out. Trying to see if theres enough of us to form a class action.
Ripped me off. When they delivered the car it would not even start. They directed me to silver rock who told me I was out of warranty and out of luck. Find another company.
I bought a car from Carvana and initially all looked good on the surface. The process to buy the car was very smooth. They delivered the car and I took it to my mechanic. When he put it on the car lift, it was clear that the car had been in a flood. I have uploaded the pictures below of the actual car when we first got it and then again when it was on the car lift for all of you to see. There was dirt and silt all underneath the car and you can actually see a large piece of wood stuck in the engine/transmission area (in one of the pictures below).I called Carvana back and they apologized and said that they would talk to their executive resolution team to make things right. I called back the next day and they said that their solution was to give me $500 to keep the flood car they sold to me!!! Either that or swap out for another Carvana car. I couldnt believe it, because Carvana guarantees no flood cars on their website. Anyways, I am never going to use Carvana again. It is a shame because the process is very smooth, but I only need one experience to write off a company and I just had that. Be very careful buying a car from Carvana - certainly have your mechanic check it out for you as it could save your thousands of dollars over the life of the car!As the CEO of a financial services company, I found this to be a horrendous customer service experience and they just lost a customer and maybe several customers (if you are reading this review) for life.
This place should be shut down I have had my SUV right at 7 months and I now have to pay 4,000 in transmission and electric problems. After talking to several mechanics my car should never have been sold.this place fixes up lemons long enough to get you by then out of nowhere they break down on you and your stuck with a problem they should have fixed in the first place.Buyers beware and might I add I still owe $10,315.85 such a joke
I have been waiting over a month for a contract rebuild, this is my third car from them and never had to wait this long, this is so inconvenient for my rental business and will have to no longer purchase from them continuing forward
This has been the worst car buying experience. I have now been rescheduled 4 times for a delivery and it will now be a month since I purchased the car. I still do not have the car. I do not recommend to anyone.
Very quick for selling them your car. Pretty easy process.
PERFECT car buying experience!! Our Rep was outstanding! Simple and stress free! No sitting at the Dealership for hours, no wasting your entire day buying your next car.UPDATE: Originally gave 5 starts and still love the car and the process BUT, either Carvana does not do State inspections or someone neglected to tell me, I would have to take time to get the car inspected before registration could occur. A little disappointing. Minus one star....
They were unable to deliver my vehicle not once but twice. No explanation just wait another week. Terrible company. Highly recommend going elsewhere.
This has been the worst car buying experience. I have now been rescheduled 4 times for a delivery and it will now be a month since I purchased the car. I still do not have the car. I do not recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!!If your in a rush like I was don’t buy a car from here !!Total waste of time .Still don’t have the car !
The Carvana process is easy and enjoyable. Carvanas technology is outstanding, their attention to detail (when noting imperfections within their vehicles) is excellent and the vehicle pickup process is fun for the whole family (if you choose to pick up at a vending machine). Every person I worked with - whether via chat, phone or in person, was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely buy a car from them again!
Great online website for car buying
I actually like Carvana but some ppl get on there holding on to cars or suv that they know theyre actually not going to purchase & holding up time for someone who actually wants to get it. They should have a time limit on that before its released back on the market
Quick and easy! Absolutely no hassle!
This process was so easy! Did completely online in about 35 minutes. Car was delivered to my house and was an amazing deal! I will never step foot in a dealership again!
They wasted hours of my valuable time and caused all this stress and false hope! This is the first car that I have ever bought and I was very excited about it so I took the day off to receive delivery. I have been to several dealerships in my area looking at cars and never found what I wanted and constantly being pestered by sales people. I thought the entire process with caravana was easy and seamless but after this I am beginning to question my purchase. After a Glitch in the system caused the car to go back into active inventory and someone else was in the process of purchasing it. What would have happened if I never caught this? And the only reason I caught it is because I got an email from you saying that my car is delayed a week. I called a representative to inquire about the later delivery and that is when all of this came to a head. With all of this, I missed a couple of hours of work today to try and get all of this resolved. I took off on April 1st and now I am having to take off on April 6th for the delivery of the car. I already arranged insurance to begin on April 1st. So I am paying for something that I do not have and also losing wages because of a glitch on your part. I work in an industry where I oversee deliveries of products and if there is an issue of the companies part and we are not able to deliver on time, we make sure to compensate the customer in some way and I am wondering if this is something you do as well. I have called the other day and spoke with a manager who rescheduled me for March 31st. Now at 14:40 I am being told my delivery is no longer available. I just got off the phone and was told my delivery can be made for April 6th. I’m done. Cancelling my order now.
They do exactly as they advertise. You shop, they drop of the car, you test it, then you make your decision. Although they have the multi point inspection process I would still recommend getting it inspected yourself by the dealership. I recently bought a 2015 Chrysler 200 and had it inspected and they found a molded still in the car as well as an obvious airbag malfunction so it’s not perfect. Other than that the car was fine. I loved the touch less delivery system as well. The only thing I didn’t really like was how dirty the car was when I got it. There was still dirt and some other stuff caked in weird places so I think their detailing leaves a little more to be desired. Especially if I’m paying all this money for the car to begin with. Other than that it was a great and seamless experience.
Bought a Lexus SUV and traded in my Honda. Took the SUV to the Lexus dealership next day (March 19) for an Oil Change. The dealership handed me a $5300 estimate for leakage coming from engine among another issue. Same day I called Caravana and notified them of the issue with SUV and told them that I want my Honda back. Got my car back after hours of calls and turned out that work had been done on my Honda. License Plates were shredded, registration sticker was gone, and Wheel locks were replaced with regular nuts. They have a 7-day Test period; then why did they start modifying my Honda even before the period ended; especially when I had called in on the 2nd day telling them that I will be returning their SUV and requested my Honda back. I couldnt drive their SUV and my Honda was given back to me on April 3. Even when I did get it back I couldnt drive it until DMV issued me new Plates and registration. They bought the SUV from an Auto Auction and inspections happen post sale. Seems like they just do cosmetic inspections and will refer you to SilverRock (their warranty company) for issues that come up within 90 day period.(NEW EDIT April 17) - Carvana responded to this review on April 16.Carvana is trying to leave everyone with the impression that their leadership/advocates are working to resolve the concern. My Honda was delivered on April 3 which is about 2 weeks ago and thats when this matter was closed. The last call with them was probably around the delivery date.
Sold my car to them and now I can’t get a response of why it’s not paid off yet. Waited on hold 1hr and 40 minutes. You can get through to the IRS faster than that.
Great experience. Staff was so helpful and willing to help make it a great experience.
I agreed to help my girlfriend sale her car, after taking her vehicle to numerous other places for appraisals We sold her car to Carvana. Carvana made the best offer (by over $500) and they came to my home and picked up the vehicle. Their staff were on time, very professional and had their paperwork in order, once they checked out the vehicle they gave her a check for the agreed amount, they were in and out in about 30 minutes.Over the last 40 years, I’ve purchased and sold over 10 vehicle’s, and I must say this is the smoothest sale everClydeA very satisfied customer
If you love the ‘servant’ minded atmosphere of Chick-Fil-A and pair it with a car purchase, we’ll then you have a recipe for success. Literally, they are the friendliest people who have a solution for every concern you may have. Plus, YOU are in control the ENTIRE time.Gone are the days of hearing “let me check with my manager real quick, I’ll be right back” when you’re trying to purchase a vehicle from a traditional dealership. At Carvana, everything is literally at the control of your hands through their online website/app. Their features include: dozens of detailed photos of the vehicle you’re considering, tools that allow you to select your monthly payment, instant credit approval (soft pull) that doesn’t hurt your credit score, instant offer on your trade in, etc..I literally, literally was watching tv last weekend browsing which car I wanted through their app. After instantly getting pre-approved and receiving an immediate offer on my trade in, I was all set! The only thing that took the longest was deciding what color I wanted. I kept going back and forth trying to decide on a interior/exterior color combo. Once I was done I scheduled their soonest pickup date at their vending machine and went about the rest of my day.Pick-up day arrived and I was ready to get my vehicle. When I entered the building the receptionist was friendly and said my advisor would be with me shortly. 5 minutes later a lady came and we sat down to go over everything once more so that were on the same page. No new information was delivered here, just reminders and verifying all the information I signed and agreed to is correct. Once that was done she said “let’s go get your new car!” The entire paperwork process took less than 30 minutes.I proceed to the coin slot (insert cheesy photo moment here as I put the coin into the machine). Once I did that the machine was on its way. I saw my car pulled from the tower, lowered down the crane and delivered to my garage stall. The entire time I’m thinking to myself, “what if the photos were misleading and it’s not what I expect..”. I couldn’t help but prepare for the worst. However once I saw the shine coming off that glossy paint job as it was being inserted into my stall I IMMEDIATELY knew this was what I was looking for. Once the car was securely placed in my stall I was excited to go check it out.The advisor then said, “Enjoy your new car!”. I asked, “you mean I can just take it and leave, that’s it?”. She said, “yes, it’s as easy as that and if you don’t like it within the 7 days just bring it back and we will give you your vehicle back and we can pretend like this never happened”. My mind was blown, this is just too easy at this point.I walk to my vehicle and on top is a blue bow over the hood. The car is extremely clean and detailed. This is when I begin looking over the vehicle to make sure no new issues pop up.Everything is immaculate inside and out. This car is used but she looks and feels brand new. It’s at this point I leave Carvana and go on my way. The honeymoon phase is now over and reality kicks in as my mind starts to wander. “Did I make a good purchase?” “Was the entire experience a placebo effect?” “Is the slogan ‘how car buying should be’ all just one big scam?”Short answer-I have ZERO regrets. If you’re still on the fence about Carvana because of the negative reviews you discover online then you simply need to stop searching reviews after finishing mine. If I could do it all over again I would.Carvana was TRANSPARENT on EVERYTHING. From photos of my vehicle to financing. There were NO surprises. My car was BEYOND what I was expecting. I could go on and on but you get my point.Never will I set foot in a dealership again. All future vehicles will be through Carvana.
Terrible customer service. Also listed features on the car that did not work. Refused to pay for these features to be fixed once the buyer realized that featured were not functioning
Buyer beware! It took years of playing phone tag with this company to try and get the promotion I was qualified for.... never received it. Customers should look elsewhere, youll most likely find better customer service and a better rate.
Great experience selling a car. Got the quote in few mins, uploaded the required documents, scheduled an appointment to drop off the vehicle, signed the documents and SOLD. Best way to sell a car.
Absolutely the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. The people at the Frisco location were amazing, and the car vending machine was super cool! Got a great quality car, less than 10k miles, and at a great price. They gave me a great offer on my trade-in. Love these guys. Will use again and highly recommend. Thank you!
Sherry was really good . Process was fast and good
I honestly had my doubts and thought this was a bit of a scam at first, but WOW, such a streamlined great experience. A few clicks on the web and then they delivered my car and I live pretty far outside of Dallas. I turned down the car on the first delivery and changed my mind later, so they delivered it a second time no questions asked at no cost. Ive found the service and post sales experience outstanding. I had a warning light come on my car and called Carvanas warranty service, they opened a ticket which only took a few minutes and told me it was no issue to take it to a dealer whos out of network. Turned out to be something so small the Infiniti dealer just topped off the brake fluid and I didnt need to use the warranty in the end, but feel sure the warranty company would have followed through should I have needed it. Im sold on this car buying model. Will be buying more cars from them and recommending them to friends.
Ive gotten 2 cars from them and will never go to a dealership again. The online sales process is streamline and easy.
Fair pricing, but picking up vehicle was worst expierence. We waited 30 -45 min even showing up on appt time. 1-25 4:30pm. Not your usual pull up mom n pop pull up cust service
How about you don’t have your tow truck pick up a car at midnight and wake up the neighborhood?
I sold my vehicle to Carvana and got better price than compared to any other dealers.
After the seventh day grace period went away I started having problems with the car engine light came on then it went off and as of today the car was totally dead. The people who have warranty on my car said there was nothing they could do to help me by saying that I couldnt go to where I wanted to go get the car checked I had to go with they told me to go. Then they wouldnt give me a tow I had to come out of my own money to pay for a towing. I dont even have a reserve car to get. So Im having to come out of my pocket to rent a vehicle and theyre not going to reimburse me. carvanas people told me that thats what I should expect with uesd car with used cars. So the advertising is nothing but false and their people who talk to me on the phone after Ive gave them my down payment and theyre about to take money out of my account for the first payment of this car the attitudes change and they become rude and obnoxious. I advise no one to use these people.
Easiest experience selling a vehicle that was on a lease, they did the buyout and everything took minutes basically.
People they have to know about the way buy a car from customers what happen with me is i have the same exact car Carvan have on then inventory couple thousand my care has they offer $31500 but they list them car for $48600 it is literally the same car !! i know they have to make money but to like this this is unbelievable
Amazing experience and great guest service!!! They also doing a great job during Covod with all their protocols!
The worst car buying experience ever! Thought I was in for a treat with a beautiful and elegant car delivered to my very own driveway with a whole 7 day money back guarantee by Carvana. Boy, was I wrong! Im on my 18th day now, phone call after phone call after phone call, dealing with the warranty company, Silver Rock, dealing with audioprompt after audioprompt, speaking to supposed advocate after supposed advocate, dealing with two different repair shops (one recommended and one I chose), speaking to my service advisor (calling, texting and emailing her) and now emailing Carvana too... and the car is still in the shop awaiting paperwork. Paperwork for more repairs that were at first denied. It started with a sound in the cabin, a rattling, that sounded like it was coming from the engine. Were talking about the 2014 Mercedes Benz e350 with only 66k miles. Even the Carvana delivery driver heard the rattling when he pulled it off the delivery truck when asked. But of course he says they have service warranty coverage. Okay, maybe its fixable. Not at their Pep Boys recommended repair shop. They only replaced the battery which was keeping the car from going into ECO mode. Of course Pep Boys mechanic said it isnt the battery when I first dropped it off. Why did they change the battery? Because after researching it myself before sending it to the shop, my fellow Mercedes forum guys said it was the battery. So of course I had to tell them this is what they needed to do. I also told Pep Boys its the engine and transmission mounts making the noise, but after a days work they gave up and said they couldnt diagnose the problem. Back to the house and after a phone call they approved my choice in dealership without paying the deductible. Okay that was a plus. They waived the $50 deductible to make this right. Far from making it right...At the Mercedes Benz repair facility (which is 55 minutes away) I drop off the car after hours. Monday morning, Im shockingly greeted with a phone call with my Mercedes Benz service advisor who explains the car needs $3k+ worth of work. Wow! As previously stated of course, its the engine and transmission mounts plus an oil leak from the head gasket, a faulty belt tensioner which was making noise and could go loose anytime, a blown front right speaker, non fully functioning emergency brake and a suggestion to flush out the brake fluid because it was black. Wouldnt you wonder how Carvanas car inspection team missed all these things when purchasing the car? Oh no, they took no responsibility in this nor did they apologize for the inconvenience. Was their service warranty company going to fix all this? No, not without a third party inspector who took 24 hours to come out and inspect the vehicle and who took another 24 hours to report back to Silver Rock. Take note my original 7 day warranty was about to expire which started the terrible extension processes. Extensions were not an easy task to get nor were they even long enough. These extensions are a joke. Not by any means do they take any of the processes I had to go through into consideration. So Silver Rock approves repairing the mounts, the oil leak and the speaker, but deny the belt tensioner, the emergency brake and the brake fluid flush. The belt tensioner per the service technicians notes stated that the tensioner was making noise and needed to be replaced. The emergency brake was even mentioned by me because it failed to release, but the brake fluid I could understand that that would be a maintenance repair. Silver Rock and Carvana doesnt cover any maintenance, even if the brake fluid is black. Im not about to buy a car with a belt tensioner that could break and cause the belt to break loose and break other parts in the vehicle. The weekend passes by and Mercedes doesnt get approval for the repairs until Monday. Of course before then I have to call and get another extension. Finally my calls get routed to the post sales escalations advocate who didnt even give me enough of an extension to get the repairs done and give me time to
Had a great experience when I sold my car to Carvana. Hassle free transaction, excellent customer service!!!!
Amazing experience love buying from carvana
Update: Decided to change my review. The customer service on Facebook got the ball rolling and we just got the plates and tags. The process on buying was easy and we love our jeep. I think the main problem is the registration company they use. It is a great concept but that was the main issue for us was with the 3rd party they use for that. Not sure if we will pay from Carvana again because of that.My husband bought a car from Carvana at the end of February. It was great until recently. He cant get the freaking car registered. There is no managers to help with this process. He has talked to customer service for 3 weeks straight and they are giving him the run around. My husband deals with big corporations for a living and if they pulled any of this stuff they will be in big trouble. Why is sending this paperwork so hard. Our neighbors bought cars during this Covid thing and they already have there plates and tag. I knew we should of just went to a normal car dealership even though we got a great deal. What a joke.
Highly discriminatory towards young adults. If you are under the age of 25 do not waste your time buying from carvana. It does not matter if you have a good credit history, a degree, or a decent paying job they will not sell a car to you. Of course, they can sell to whomever they fell like but, they should be transparent and tell you up front that they do not sell to young people. I wasted over two weeks trying to buy a car from them. They kept giving me the run around saying I needed more proof of residency or giving me false information. I finally gave up, and my mother was able to purchase the same car and received conformation within two hours. My Dad also bought a car from them and received conformation just as fast. Keep in mind we all turned in the same proof of residency document with all three of our names listed on the lease but for some reason by copy was not good enough and they wanted to speak with our leasing manager directly. It is honestly shameful and I wish they would have been honest up front that they feel uncomfortable selling to young people. I am happy to drive around to dealerships and pay hidden fees in order to have the car that I am driving and paying for with my money be in my name. Young people beware. Also, customer service is pretty rude its like they do not want you to buy a car form them anyways.
Several issues that was not detailed on inspection or pictures. 2 separate accidents and 1 different tire brand with different tread design on 6k miles 2019 car. All this not disclosed! And they would not fix it! Beware! I wish they would have made this right but they even denied the claims!
Seamless process.Once the appointment is scheduled, the driver arrived on time, gave a prior call to let us know he is heading to the delivery address. The pick up van arrived, inspected the vehicle, completed the paper work, handed over the cheque for the remaining account and took off the vehicle. Thanks Carvana for making this process so simple and hassle free.
Birthday week is AWESOME
This was by far the quickest, easiest, and most hassle free experience I have ever had buying a car. I wont do it any other way after this.
Bought a car through carvana and wanted to make sure everything was okay with it. I noticed the check engine light was on so I took it to a mechanic the next day and it had a list of mechanical problems. I didn’t even feel safe driving it. I called customer service and explained to them why I will be returning the car. I got my full refund in a week.
Very easy process! Each person my wife and I talked to were very informative and courteous! We Are looking forward to our next vehicle from Carvana!
