I know, businesses all around are short on employees, this Kroger is inexcusable. It has been bad since before the pandemic and impossible to shop at post pandemic. I don’t care if shelves are empty due to lack of supply but clean the damn store. Itsmells horrid. The floors are sticky, food on shelves are expired and no one seems to care. Monday at 5pm there was one cashier and at least 10 ppl ahead of me trying to use self checkout. This store is poorly managed and poorly staffed. Corporate doesn’t seem to care. HEB will wipe this Kroger out when it finally opens next fall. Good riddance.
Do NOT buy any produce from this location! The fruit flies are disgusting and everything in the produce is dirty and infested. Truly NOT a good situation. Also, the shelves are never fully stocked and often times, they are just out of stock on several items. Definitely seems to be a store management issue and/or ordering issue. It seems pars would be set and ordering done accordingly. The location at Lebanon & Legacy is AMAZING!!
I don’t think it makes good customer service to have all the check out lines closed at 8PM and only the self service checkouts open . It’s very inconvenient to ask a customer to scan all their items ( especially people like myself that load up the cart ) in an area barley large enough for a few items . What’s the point of all the registers that you have when not one person is available to assist you finish picking up all the items . Self service checkouts were designed for those with a few items but not for people trying to spend hundreds of dollars . You should reconsider your policies of you want to retain big ticket items .
Im taking the time to log in and rate.. this Is the worst Kroger in the Dallas area. They literally rely on their self checkout, and they have no one working their in-person checkout lanes, which makes leaving the store a 30 minute process…. I’ve given this place tons of chances thinking it would get better but it never does. Bye Kroger.
Neat neighborhood Kroger that’s been serving the community for several years now.Their produce is fresh and they try to sell as many seasonal fruits as possible. They are well stocked and the place is always clean. They also have a sushi corner and the sushi is surprisingly good considering it’s a take out place. The wine selection is pretty decent for a grocery store. Sometimes the florist has a good deal on flowers too.All in all a good solid grocery store that delivers.Speaking of delivering, you can also order ahead via the app and then go pick it up curbside. While there are other options nearby, this Kroger is still relevant.
Great, long-standing Kroger that delivers the right products for the area, at the right price, in a primo location. All things expected from a Kroger were present in this location. The store was clean, the variety was good, the displays were exceptional, and the service was commensurate with the Kroger way. When Im in this part of town, this is my grocery store.
This store has really gone down in service. We stopped by on Sunday, Aug 15 2021 around 5pm, found spills all over the, did not see any employees accept a few in the deli. 2 main check out registers with at least 10 people deep in line. 1 express with 10 people deep and the self service line was 20 people deep. The shelves were a mess...nasty store
They have a guy working at register who has a problem…. He got mad and started slinging my groceries because I asked him if his last name was Manning since his first name was Payton… He said that really offends me and proceeded to sling my stuff in the bags and had a go the heck look on his face. I did register a complaint.
Not a single check out station open at 8pm …. I don’t work for Kroger ! Not checking my self out … complete bs Kroger! Guess I will be going elsewhere!
The entire place looked filthy, unkempt and disorganized! The floors and even the checkout areas truly looked like noone has touched them in weeks. The staff look disheveled and didnt even bother to greet you or ask if you needed anything. I had a couple in front me who was struggling with payment and the young female clerk actually just stood there and didnt assist them or even ASK could she do anything! I actually saw her stand behind her register and not utter one word to help this couple...she looked miserable and unkempt. The entire store was gross...why hasnt anyone mentioned this before??
This Krogers pickup department is horrible. Every single time I place an order online to pick up they always get the stuff wrong always. Then on top of that there are missing items as well. I will not be doing the pickup from this store anymore.
Very unhappy with this store. They are terrible with customer service.
Aisles are way too narrow. Makes for an irritating trip EVERY time.
Scheduled pick-up: kept me waiting in a parking spot for more than half an hour just to tell me my order will be delayed 2 hour.No app notification, no call, no text, no voice message. Cant even cancel since order is in progress.Had to reschedule everything else for today. If I was informed in advance I could have canceled or rescheduled according to my convenience.I called them after an hour, they told me it was ready. I reached there and they told me I was next. And after half an hour I left and no call answered and no order delivered. Even to cancel my order I had to call 3 times. So basically wasted 1 hour (30 min each time)waiting in parking lot and another 1 hrs at home.
Every time I place an order for pick up, they are way off. They will bill you for items that they dont put in the bag, constantly out of stock, and substitutions for things that dont match you order. I would advise anyone to consider a different store for their online pick up needs.
Used to be a good KrogerNo registers open
With over 33 years of grocery experience, this location is amazing. From layout, staff, predictable stock, it has it all. Highly recommended to all that wants an efficient yet effective shopping experience.
There are never any employees around and there have been a few instances where I spent twenty minutes looking for an item or an employee to ask for help before using the Kroger website to get guidance instead. Besides no employees it is just poorly organized, as shown by me constantly having to search high and low for things because they aren’t in a place that makes sense.
Staff are nice but customers are rude even at 6:30am. People not wearing masks. Still a pandemic killing.
Some lovely people and then some not so lovely people work here. The latter has caused me to want to never return. Youd think at a pharmacy they know what decent customer service is, but stray away from this one because you might be in luck of getting one of the incredibly rude pharmacy technicians. Such a sour experience here!
Worst customers service
The most unprofessional customer service very rude people stay away from this place management has no idea what they’re doing
Attention management: my husband bought a gift card for me forMother’s Day and when I went to use it, it had already been used in a King Souper in Denver. Kroger didn’t take responsibility at all, and the number on the back of the card-I called several times and 2 times I had to wait for 2 hours wo answer. Kroger, in my opinion you are using a fraudulent visa credit card company.. I would be very leery about buying gift cards from Kroger. Meanwhile, I’m still out $200. Now I have to file a police report.
A very nice store. Well stuffed. Great interior design. Although far from my home, I am willing to make the 20 minute drive to be able to pick up some of those specialty items. Highly recommended!
The florist is the worst ever had to get someone else to find him and then once he helped the people in front of us he just walked off and didn’t even help us went right back to stalking tomato’s which one maybe 10 feet away from his station he was never looking up at his post very poor job was waiting for 20 and not once did he come to the florist post
I don’t normally review grocery stores, but the guy running the self check on Thursday evening was SUPER helpful and patient. I was being stupid not knowing how to read signs for the choose your own six pack and he helped me through it, with patience. Thank you!
We just came here because they close at 1 am, the cashier was so mean to us because we came at 11 30, her name is Francois and she yelling and complaining so bad. If they close at 1 am why I have to explain if I need to buy groceries
This is a very good Kroger they make good pie. Sushi is also very good and its very fresh. And it is very close to me house yo.and it is always clean very and clutter free. The employees are real helpful and friendly. I wish they had more vegan stuff because my son Lucas is a very good boy
**ATTENTION MANAGEMENT** Even though I get all of my meat from Whole Foods, I have to rave about VINCENT over in the meat section! The way he interacts with people is not only genuine, but like you’re a member of his family. His level of enthusiasm and helpfulness (even when your just passing by) will inspire you. I truly hope the management staff understands the value he adds.
Not just once but on several occasions the female pharmacy tech has been rude, brusque and seemingly put off with having to assist me. Sad. This is the closest Kroger pharmacy to our home. One positive, the pharmacist at this location is amazing. She is patient and always helpful.
In general, I find what I need at this well organized store. Not sure why they recently changed their Olive bar stuff. Used to be able to select the mix I needed and the quantity I needed, now I stopped buying because they are all prepackaged and the selections and quantities dont work for me.
Always prefer this location to the one on Preston; its newer, cleaner, a few miles off to the side from DNT so more spacious parking. Also, Deli staff are very polite and attentive, very good experience with them.
I have to say I have never had a poor experience at this Kroger location. All staff as always been super friendly and more than willing to help. This includes everyone from the deli to the pharmacy.Always clean, tidy, and fully stocked. The recent change of the layout of the store was a bit jarring but once again all staff have been helpful in locating the proper items.Generally I am very pleased!
They’re always pretty nice, overpriced on something’s but hey.
Wow - Having been a loyal Kroger customer for many years, I am shocked at the experience I just had at the pharmacy of the Kroger in Frisco on Main St. A pharmacy tech was not only extremely rude, brusque, and unkind, but also violated my privacy. She said she wouldnt fill my prescription because it looked like Id altered the date. As it happens, my physician verified the prescription immediately, but in the interim, she slaps the script up against the glass, while another customer was at the counter and began to lecture me about pharmacy rules. When I attempted to explain that she could review my records she put her hand up, cut me off, rolled her eyes and said, ok, sir Ill just get the pharmacist and turned to walk away. I will say this is not a normal experience for Kroger, but this employee does not need to be working in a service industry for sure. I have thick skin, but felt the need to review as I cant imagine a more vulnerable person like a senior being treated so disrespectfully.
I LOVE this store. I went in and asked for an intricate floral arrangement for a party and it was done BEAUTIFULLY and so well priced. Terri assisted me and kept me well informed of her ideas for my arrangement. The department was so kind and attentive to my needs and I couldnt be more grateful! Love how clean and well set up the floral department is as well. Not only the floral, but the store in general. I would definitely go out of my way to go to this location again!
Visiting this Kroger location is always a great experience. The staff are friendly and the store is generally very clean. They recently did a remodel and its nicer than before, and now do the curbside pickup. My recommendation is to shop while using the Kroger app for virtual coupons, it can save you some money.Every now and then I am a bit disappointed, like this week I went and paid for 4 bags of ice, but when I got to the freezer there was only one bag left that was split open. Still, a great place to shop!
This is my go to grocery store. They have everything and it is nice and clean. I would give 5 stars if they unloaded your carts for you like a few other Kroger I have been to. Thats is the worst part of grocery shopping!!
I like this store. The layout is a little different and I am not used to it yet however it isnt necessarily a bad thing. The store is BIG and has a lot of variety which is awesome. Ppl are nice there on the night and evening shifts and always helpful.
Amazing service and the food comes so fast and is delischos and better then moms spagitttiegh
My Favorite Grocery Store! We drive 20 minutes just to shop here. Theyve always been well stocked. They have a wonderful beer and wine selection too.
I came here tripping on mushrooms, to buy stuff to make cookies and cream ice cream and had a staff member helped me understand the difference between heavy cream, and heavy whipping cream. Ice cream surprisingly turned out great despite the fact I was trippin sack. Thanks! Keep up the good work! Treat all customers like theyve ingested psychoactive drugs.
Clean store, could use a bit more light inside the store. Did not see as many flavor selections of Activa yogurt brand. Did not see many customer service reps around but still overall a good experience.
Super good store with large variety of veggies and dairy. Staff are very helpful.
Always a pleasure... clean and friendly. Only complaint is the credit card swiping units. They just dont function most of the times... bbut a good store overall
It was awesome! Jared was a cool little nerdy dude at the self check out.
Love the meat and produce section. Always good quality and it all local. Makes me proud to purchase knowing to I am supporting local farming.
This is my local grocery store, there seems to be a shortage each time I go. If you get there early then you will have good picks on fruits and vegetables, but if you shop late, good luck. Also, check your receipts, each time I go, there is always a mistake, especially on the costly items that are suppose to be on sale, I bet they rake in a lot since so many people don’t bother to check their receipts. Also, it’s a hit or miss on sackers, you might have to sack your own, since they are busy sacking other groceries for another cashier or you and the cashier have to do it. If you don’t have a Kroger card, get one, it does save you on gas, especially if you drive a big truck or SUV.
Store has recently been renovated. Pricing is reasonable and parking is convenient. Only thing to watch out for is expired products, they dont seem to reliably pull expired products from the shelves.
A new store. Easy to shop for everything. Clean, employees are friendly and helpful, plenty of cashiers. All in all a great place to shop.
Store is nice, but the guest services had no idea what was going on when I was there. The employee at the counter didnt understand that they had an in-store deal to buy Frisco RoughRiders tickets (the sign was right next to the counter). We finally got a manager and after 5 minutes of watching them look for instructions, we left and got taken care of at another store. I love Kroger, but would be wary of visiting this location again.
No working WiFi, always out of Friday free advertised item, no Diesel gas, unfriendly staff especially Managers. Have found outdated products in dairy, meats, and pharmacy. The Independence store is smaller but has really friendly helpful staff and management like JR
I have shopped here since 2005 and I have always been satisfied and this year I started using thr Butcher to help with selections and They were always on target like the Salmon wild catch I was told the best ever & I some tough critics the Brisket I got it trimmed again great reviews. Too many times I would be in a hurry grab and go not now I will talk to the butcher the fruit and veg. dept people they will help . Try it, or maybe its just me, I like them
A great tip for going in after 10pm is you will need to enter threw the doors on the right side of the store. Then left right away. I bit annoying but safety first. This Kroger has very large and diverse section. If you eat the sushi they will expect you to buy so stay away or buy lol. I hope this strait forward review helps!
Cashier was so kind but I couldnt seem to find a very simple veggie I needed. Had to go to Walmart after.
A bit crowded. And the card machines tend to always have an issue. But clean and organized.
The glacier water machine is always either our of water or not working. I make a trip there to get water and they are out! Also they are out of the Manchester Jumbo Quail!
Nice clean Kroger. Well managed and easy to find what we were looking for. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
The store is always clean. Their selection are kept rotated. Love the produce department, a good variety.
I always like this Kroger location, they have what I need and its convenient to home.
Don’t get me started. 1. Unfriendly staff 2. I got two items on my Clicklist that were damaged. Picked it up during rush hour with my baby, headed home and once I finally got around to unloading, realized two items were ruined. The lid on my honey was completely cracked in half. The baby shampoo bottle was sticky and smelled musty and 1/2 the shampoo was out of it (um, hello?! Isn’t that noticeable?) it didn’t come out in my bag so I don’t know what happened but it was put in my bag like that and that’s NOT cool. Onto the next Kroger I go.
Good selection of fresh produce and all other groceries. Could use a little help expanding the beer section.
Horrible service, so not ever order from here. They have lost our order 4x and have givin our order away 30 minutes before pickup 2x. We are always scared to order because it is NEVER DONE!!!!
It such a nice grocery market. Easy to notice from moving vehicle. Great staff.
Kroger is a good place to get groceries but I wish they had a larger hot food section for quick meals to go.
They are very efficient at check out and seem to do a great job running the store. Highly recommend.
Love Kroger but this store is very basic with food items
Great choices. The issues with produce freshness seem to be improving
Great associates, Deli is terrific with Boars Head sandwich meats and cheeses (meat company for 100 years), easy to access.
Always clean and well stocked.Produce well stocked. Quick check out, seem to have plenty of help.
Kroger carried many different items and even have click it online and then pick up on it own parking spot.
I enjoy buying there. Every time they bring more orgánic veggies and fruits with very competitive prices.
I wish this would let me vote 0 stars. This was the absolute worst shopping experience I have ever had. Viva was our shopping clerk and she treated me and my mother horribly. There is no customer service at all. Viva needs to be re trained on how to treat customers. I will never return to this Kroger location again nor spend another penny there.
Be very careful with your Click List. I picked up groceries on Sunday the 15th. Today is the 18th and the meat I bought needed to be used or frozen by the 12th! I was given 3 day over due meat with my order. This is not the first time this has happened. I have also experienced fresh veggies and fruits routinely being placed in the same bag as canned goods. Theres too much competition out there to stick with Kroger.
Was a very quick experience. Everything I needed was in stock. Check out was a breeze.
Ive tried calling this location to see if they sell what I need so I dont waste a trip. They dont answer their phone.
I have shopped at this Kroger since 2006 and think its time to find another store. The customer service at the register is HORRIBLE!! The past three trips the cashier has broken something because they are so careless! If I dont pay attention to them my bread is flattened and my produce is ruined!! Somehow they lost a gift card I had purchased and there is NO refund once purchased. Guess I will just drive a few minutes further to spend my money at Tom Thumb!!
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Good prices.
I love the way they have just added more food from different parts of the world in their international aisle..
I have shopped here regularly for close to 15 years, and normally have an uneventful experience while shopping at this location. But, today there was a strange man in the store (10/16/21) cursing out one of the teen employees, as well as several customers who came to the teen’s aid. Later, he was actually running/chasing one of the customers around one of the brick posts outside of the store. It was bizarre and scary to say the least. Kroger please look out for the safety of your staff and customers.
Walmart has better customer service by far. I just moved to Frisco and I had high expectations about the costumer service and Kroger did not meet them. I felt that I was not treated with respect. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Clean store and good service.
Love their birthday cakes and balloons for parties!Good customer service!
Nice store...they had everything I needed...lots of sale items
Good organic and natural food selection for a local store. Great employees.
Love this store. Very clean and great produce!
Great place to shop. Usually has a short line. Sign up for a bonus card to save money on gas.
The customer service is pretty good. Flowers are always fresh
Always a good store to shop at. We like using the internet preorder servce.
Check out the new renovations to the store. Its exciting to see the progress.
Decent enough supermarket. Has pretty good selection.
Newer and updated store. Nice quick meals section.
They did not have the beer the store by my house had. The shelf price is not the same as the registrar price. So I over spent by alot. The cashier held us up for what felt like forever. It was an embarrassing experience.
Nice Kroger. Not as big as some of the others. A little cramped in front where the registers are but clean.
My to go shopping … always fresh fruits and good selections.
Its 2:00 PM Thursday. The store is busy: 7 loaded carts waiting to checkout; one checkout line open; no baggers; I bag my own; spend over $200.00; no smile; no thank you; Im treated like a nuisance instead of a customer. This is not the first time. I dont have to put up with this. There are other options.
