Customer service at this store has completely changed from a knowledgeable and helpful staff to a bunch of people that just stay behind the counter and don’t want to help. My mom went into this store yesterday to buy power steering fluid and she didn’t know where to put it so she asked the staff and they refused to help so she asked if they could at least show her where to put some fluid in and they said no that it isn’t part of their job. Isidoro is the only good employee left.

I wanted to give a shout-out to the young guy, Michael, that replaced the battery for me in my suv. My battery is kind of tricky to remove but he stuck with it and got it removed and replaced correctly and got me back on the road.I would recommend someone work with the older lady who I think is a manager on her customer service. As Michael was running around the store helping customers and even while there was a lone of customer she sat on her chair up front instead of taking customers at her lane.

Excellent service, super friendly staff. I got the item I needed and the help I didnt ask for but, was very welcome. I definitely recommend this location. Special mention to Isidoro A who helped me find the right headlights bulb and notice I had the wrong one, got the correct one and help me out to put it. You rock!!!! I dont live close to this location but, if I need anything Ill definitely come back here.

The last several times Ive been here to either get my battery checked or a check engine code they say their equipment is broken. I dont like being that guy, but it really seemed like they just didnt want to help me out. Id recommend going to the OReilys across the street.

Went in for a California duster and that extending window wand, 1 out of 2 not so bad. Store is clean and well organized. They wre testing somebodys alternator out in the parking lot and reading the codes on a late model Nissan. They did try to sell me the Arizona duster, and I havent tried the wand yet.

I like products and service, but they often tell me that the alternator is bad when it is the battery. For me it has never needed an alternator/generator. Always a battery. I have always gotten the correct part, which is not true with the other major brand parts stores. Warranty is good. Remember batteries only last about 2 years in this heat, so purchase the battery with the 3 year warranty.

I had a great experience getting my battery replaced on May21 at the store location. Very professional..!!!However, since I haven’t driven the Honda Pilot for 1 week, this morning I tried to unlock the vehicle and there was no response. I was schocked to learn that that battery was totally dead. The Honda is parked on the driveway as such I cannot take out my other car from the garage. How can a battery die in less than 2 months? My previous battery lasted 4 years. Now I’m totally stuck and frustrated and worried how to get it corrected.➡️ I reached out to the Store. Every employee at this place demonstrated empathy to my situation. Employee name Blake went above and beyond to find ways to help me. Store supervisor Kelly, was simply fantastic, she ensured that it will be taken care of. And the best part, the store manager Sal, made the commitment to come to our house to take care of replacing the dead battery with brand new one. ***They didn’t have to do that, but they did, and for that this Store’s Rock stars teamwork is simply extraordinary and outstanding.*** Hats off to you all. After waking up to my car not starting this am as my battery was dead I was so relieved when I came in today to find not only that my warranty was still active but that your wonderful employee Kemanuel, a true servant leader, was more than happy to help me with the install of it! The gentleman, whom I did not catch his name at the register, was so helpful and made this the least stressful transaction I have had in months and I needed the extra kindness today. I purchased an alternator at a different AutoZone location for 250 dollars. The box was taped poorly, indicating that it was a returned product. Upon pulling the alternator out of the box, I recognized the pulley was missing. I attempted to take the pulley off of my old alternator in the parking lot of mentioned AutoZone, to no avail. I had to pay 150 dollars to tow my car back home to Gilbert. After being unable to pull my old pulley using my tools at home, I gave up and purchased a new, complete alternator from OReillys. Once I was able, I went to THIS AutoZone location on Warner and Cooper. I did not purchase my alternator at this location, but I assumed I could return it at any AutoZone store with the receipt. I came in on a Sunday and the person working told me he could not give me a refund because he didnt have enough cash on hand to issue the refund. He said to come back Wednesday. Upon returning on Wednesday afternoon, the same man gave me the same response. I asked him when exactly he would be ready to issue a refund and he essentially said that accepting returns from other stores was at their discretion and he didnt want to give me a refund after making me drive down there TWICE. I had to drive out to Glendale where my car broke down and return my alternator there. Luckily they remembered me and didnt give me sweat. They got a great review. My name is Austin Pascavis, me and my father Mark have both been loyal AutoZone customers for over 10 years. After the way I was treated at this particular AutoZone, I will NEVER shop at any Autozone location or any of its affiliates ever again. You have lost my business.

Bought a battery and they were very friendly and helpful. Roman came out and changed my battery in about 5 minutes. I had previously gone to the location on Williams field and Gilbert and they told me they couldnt change my battery at 8 pm because it was too late, my battery is too hard to change so they arent supposed to, and they really arent supposed to because of the virus. They obviously had no interest in making a sale or being helpful.

My car wouldn’t start because of my battery, I was stranded for about 5 hours With my jump cables, but couldn’t get any one to give me a jump. I had to wait overnight at a place of business. I called the AutoZone at 734 W Warner Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85233 and Armando answered my call. I was distraught and anxious about the situation and he was very polite, courteous, and patiently listened to me relate my situation and circumstances. He then asked me my info and expeditiously located my replacement warranty information. He assured me that I was covered for a replacement battery. I then informed him that I had no tools to remove my battery and no way to bring it in.... as a conscience professional Armando quickly put me at ease, he said “Don’t Worry... Were here to Help you” I felt relieved. He told me he would have someone bring the battery to me Annnd remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. He said he’ll call me when someone is on the way. About a half hour later, Armando called me to inform me that Luis was outside the establishment waiting for me. I thanked him and as I was hanging up Luis was calling me. I went out to meet him at my vehicle, he was very reassuring and very polite and courteous as well. He expeditiously made the battery exchange and was very professional in his manner to me. He explained to me that my account would reflect the exchange. He also said he wouldn’t leave me until my vehicle was started and, be absolutely sure that I wouldn’t remain stranded.I know this is a long review, but I felt it is only right to Speak Up and On somethings, when customer service people extend themselves to help you. We COMPLAIN LOUDLY when we feel that the service was bad and the people were too!Therefore, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the two men who were the Consummate Customer Professionals in this scenario. Thank you to the both of you, and by the length of this review.... know that I mean it genuinely. Keep up the Great Customer Service! I’m am glad that these two took care of me, Sincerely.

I can not say enough about my positive visit to Auto Zone. There are two men who went above and beyond for me when I purchased a battery and fell into a variety of barriers on getting my car back up and running. Blake Cummings and Kem Israel were unbelievably kind, helpful, attentive to me when I returned several times with questions and more needs. It was unbelievably hot outside and late at might when I returned for a final time near closing time. Blake came outside and worked on my car to ensure that my battery connections were tight and helped me reinforce other components in my car that I had damaged in the process. They were both polite and never once made me feel like a burden even when I returned with requests, time and time again. Fabulous customer service and support. Thank you!!

Knowledgable and helpful with my car problems. Gave some good tips on repair and helped find the right tools that would be needed. They offered rental tools also to complete the job.If you simply need air filter or wiper blades, they will outfit your car for you if you ask. Highly recommended coming here for automotive needs or projects.

Id give 0 if I could! Horrible customer service!!! Came in at 10a to buy a gel battery. Had to get from West phx loc. Told it would be in by 3p!!! Planned my day around it with a dead car. Paid $288 for it and the sales guy couldnt even add my auto zone points. They never called me!!! I called at 5p and they said they havent seen it. Sat all day with dead car. I finally called at 8:45p before they closed. I wouldnt be able to get there before they close but wanted to know status. Got some mumbling attendant who needed the car model to look up the part number. Then tells me its there. I ask why they havent called and they said they were busy and then hung up on me. I hope its charged. Ive gotten batteries before from them that are not charged. They could have at least offered to check it for the night. Not sure whether to just go get my refund tomorrow just so I dont award them with this service or actually take the battery. No way to even talk to a manager!

I just had the best customer service experience in my life! I have a 05 Pacifica that has the engine light on and were experiencing problems whenever we turn our AC on. Ryan E., I believe his name was, the store manager checked the engine light for us, gave us a print out and explained all of our options. He was so helpful and thorough! I like this store, but it doesnt have a large stock of specialty items. Those items need to come from their hub in Mesa. While theyre happy to have it delivered to their store, its easier and quicker to drive up to Mesa and pick it up yourself.

ZERO STARS...Terrible unprofessional service, will never return to this store. I went in, on my way home from work, to pick up a can of refrigerant for my vehicle. I wouldve been in and out in under 2 minutes, no one in the store but me and I knew what I was getting. Brought my can up front to purchase, spoke to J.Terry behind the desk, he asked if I was ready (said yes, paying with card)...he says OK I GOT YOU RIGHT HERE. A second later the phone rings...Mr Terry walks away from register to answer the call, then proceeded to help the customer on the phone look up their vehicle and parts in the computer, leaving me at the register... A PAYING CUSTOMER THAT IS INSIDE THE STORE MAKING A PURCHASE FROM HIM. Where is this acceptable? Im disgusted and feel disrespected
