This is the most scam operation I have ever seen. Nothing that comes out of their mouth could be further from the truth. The reviews speak for their self. From the owner down to the sales team they are nothing but liars. They will tell you anything to appease you and take your money. Buyer beware! I had to get my credit card company involved in a three way conversation. They still talked in circles. I have been in the automotive business 46 years. I have never seen such a disgustingly unprofessional business as this operation in my life. How their still in business bewilders me. They deserve 0 stars. Typical big city scammers they give the automotive profession a bad name.

Midwest Transmission Distributors was awesome especially Jake who took care of me! My 2012 Toyota Corolla engine went out as I was driving back from California and I also had a crack radiator. After going to several mechanic shop, Midwest transmission distributors had the best price so I went for it! They got the job done at a very reasonable time! My Corolla drove smooth like a silk! Literally drove like a brand new car and I’m impressed! Give them a try they won’t let you down!

I took our aging 2003 Honda Odyssey with a P0740 torque converter check engine code to Jake. Our van also needed front struts, engine mounts and a passenger side CV axle. Repairs were completed quickly considering the transmission work, at a fair price. Our van has been driving well since the repair.

Engine showed up. it got lost in transit which is not the company fault which I understand Im in the automotive industry and these days this does happen. Arrangement have been made to pick it up even though they will be closed by the time I get there I was told they will wait for me. Which is awesome as if they would not my schedule does not permit time for me to get there. to be honest it got rough for a little but they finished strong.

I called this place and the have an engine Im looking for and when they asked for a deposit and my credit card, I was very hesitant and unsure.. but when I went in to pay it cash,, everyone is so nice and professional. Spoke to i believe Jake, I totally forgot his name but he was awesome and straight forward. I underestimated this place but I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for engines, heres the place!!

Buyer be ware when dealing with this company.... They sent a known bad engine and would not refund our money or replace the engine.... As you can see by the pictures it was full of sludge and they had replaced a front cover so the minivan engine would fit a Jeep...... But when they changed the front cover they knew the engine was bad and full of sludge and sent it anyway..... if you read the real reviews on this company you will find lots of similar experiences from lots of different people....Bad company do not recommend them ..

Don’t not talk to Jake! Horrible customer service! Lied about product availability and had me waiting a month for something I never got. Also says he will call you back and never does. Then gets mad when you call for an answer. Said engine would be in on certain date and never was. Then says it will be in on this date. Never was. I bet hit nose is 6 foot long. If he answers ask for someone else.

Truck already had transmission issues. Neutral Safety Switch doesn’t work. Truck wouldn’t start. Wouldn’t listen. Said they could put a transmission in. Paid $1600. Kept my truck hostage. Made me pay $250 to “restock” a transmission that looks like it was sitting out in the desert... what a joke. Watch out for these guys... Find someone else if at all possible...

They fixed my car in a quick manner. There was mild issue afterwards but they took it right back and fixed it for me at no cost and even gave me ride to my house. Jonathan is awesome, he always was polite and very considerate. I would definately recommend business to them.

Horrible costumer service ! Order an Engine on 05-12-21 said it will be ready for deliver on Monday 05-17-21 Jake ask for $100 deposit to make sure i was serious about the engine and i was gonna pay the the rest when they delivered the engine .. but they run my car for the complete amount $2400.. i called Monday at 3.47 pm he to get an ETA Jake said it was to late that hes workers were gone. Call Tuesday at 9;30am Jake said ill get the engine on Friday or moday next week. that they have a lot of work and wont be able to pull engine til Thursday so i call same day at 330pm and cancel the order and get a refound now he wants to charge a restocking fee of an engine that hasnt been pull out or left their yard.. SMH BE CAREFULL WITH THIS GUYS IF HE CHERGES ME THE RESTOKING FEE IM GETTING 3 ON YOUR SIDE SHADY BUSSINES

I’ve been dealing with vendors like Midwest for a long time but never thought a place could be as bad as this one. They took one week after charging my card to tell me the engine is bad and now want to charge me the same money for a more miles engine. Customer service is horrible and never dealing with Tyler again.

So I dealt with Busceme on a motor swap on my Acura MDX.Although it took a little longer than expected due to some unexpected circumstances, they did a very nice job!My MDX runs and drives perfectly.They compensated me for the extra time it took!I would recommend them to others needing mechanic service!Thank you Busceme and Carlos for your good customer service.

Ordered an engine on 11-13-2020 from Tyler called a few later and they said order was never placed that they would take care of it on November 25 engine had still not shipped so canceled order said would refund within 3 days. Made several calls due to no refund. Today received an email saying they applied refund but charged restocking fee 25% and shipping fee however item never left there facility. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHOUNEST BUSINESS

Purchased a ReMan 5.9 Cummins Diesel with installation through Midwest. Unfortunately my sales rep wasn’t completely honest (he no longer works there);however, they had Carlos take over my account, and despite some miscommunications between the sales rep and the shop, Carlos was able to deliver on all his promisesCustomer service overall has been good, Carlos has been honest with me from when he took over.I would come here again for another motor.

The customer service provided by Carlos & Jake is a joke. Carlos failed to follow-up twice. Jake wanted me to pay for a part before he would verify that it is correct. When questioned about this process, his attitude increased. Dont waste your time.

I rolled the dice and purchased an older RV that was delivered by the previous owner and as luck would have it the transmission died on my first trip around the block!A friend recommended Midwest Transmission. Having limited funds and a dead RV sitting on the street, Jake (who was on vacation) contacted me with a workaround to have the rig serviced at my home saving hundreds on a tow and worked with me on pricing. The transmission was removed and the replacement was installed within a week.Although premature to rate the work (Ive only driven the beast locally) or the quality of the replacement part, I was quite pleased with the customer service, the creative workarounds and the pricing.

I bought a couple of used parts from them for my Chevy Cobalt 2006. The price was nice and the parts were awesome. After almost 2 months, I havent had any problem so far.Also, I passed by their office to pick up the parts and the attention was perfect. It was fast and simple.I will get more parts from Midwest if I need them but I really hope I wont need any car part for a while :)

Paid for a used part from them and they charged me $150 for freight service (hazardous material since it was a fuel tank). Ended up shipping UPS Ground with no hazardous service (confirmed with UPS). Tank arrived partially damaged and they refused to credit the difference between what was originally agreed upon and the shipment route they decided to use on their own. I was hoping to use them in the future but quickly learned that it was a different level of customer service once a payment was made. They said they had no control over shipping.

These guys are Great! Best customer service in valley. I needed a transfer case for 2006 Toyota Sequoia with actuator motor intact. Jake was able to find exactly what I needed in couple days. I dealt with a man named Tim G.. He was very professional and followed thru with everything he promised. The cost was reasonable and delivery was right on time with no problems. I will recommend Midwest to anyone and will be using their service for all my needs.

Great place to get any powertrain item for any vehicle, they will ship anywhere in the United states, they also will rebuild and gasoline engine in house, and there diesel technician Sean is a master Diesel Tech thats off to that guy he is just unbelievable with what he does.

Ok, So I drive a 1995 Volvo 960 here in Chandler, Az. I had an engine installed that I bought from Midwest Transmissions back in April of 2011. Ive been driving my car EVERYDAY since then. Its a 2.9 V6 that runs like I just drove it off the showroom floor. Ive got 210,130 miles on the car now... 94,269 on this engine. Most of the miles are city, but I do take a few road trips when I can. I keep the oil changed, just one set of plugs and wires, and I couldnt be more pleased with the way it runs. It never misses or gives me trouble whatsoever. The best part is out on the open road... 70, 80, 90 is a smooth as a Cadillac. I guess I just wanted to tell everybody that you guys are pretty good at your jobs. Customer service was awesome and shipping was right on time. Im getting a new paint job, and some new upholstery cause I really enjoy my ride... Gonna keep it until it hits 500,000 on the odometer (or longer).

Was sent a T5 Transmission with a leak in it. It was under warranty, but they refused to share any of the shipping and installation costs. Wouldnt recommend.Also, most of the 5 star reviews on here are clearly fake.

If i could give them a negative 0 i would. They rebuilt an engine for me. for a scion TC 06 and after a month the engine failed again. I returned the engine after having to re pull it out of the car all over again. and they spent 3 months with the engine giving me the run around calling them daily and giving me a ton of excuses. I finally get the engine back i put it back in the car and then the check engine light comes on about oil pressure issue in the engine. I change all the sensors and take it to several mechanics to have them review the engine. I finally find through a mutual friend a Tech at the Toyota dealership they run a diagnostic and check out the engine and tells me they used faulty parts and would need to be rebuilt all over again properly with correct parts. I call them to get my money back and they tell me that the owner does not care and will not do anything to help me. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!! you are better off burning it in the desert and save alot of agrevation by far the worst experience ive ever had with a company in my life. spent almost 4k to get this fixed now.

3 years ago, I had MTD install a remanufactured Toyota Camry 2.4 engine in my 2002 Camry. Took delivery on January 21, 2015. The Camry has run perfectly ever since, including the last 3 summers. I was hesitant because of 1 or 2 negative reviews, but after trying to get relief from Toyota and Toyota Dealers, I decided to go ahead. The problem stemmed from a blown head gasket and Toyota said my only alternative was to purchase a used engine. Trouble was, that would cost more than car was worth, and it was also much more than MTD charged out-the-door (garage). Engine was one-half the cost of a used engine, and R&R was very reasonable. I would do it all over again! Best decision I could have made.

Tried to sell me a motor that was supposed to be just rebuilt and that they had in house.Cool we arrive to check out motor and secretary is unhelpful and just points us to go several doors down.We meet the owner/sales agent who eventually takes us to see motor, when asked what year it came out of or information on it, he stated rather rudely that he didnt know, that he didnt have paperwork for motor on him, instead of gathering info just leaves us in warehouse and says to look it over and let hime know.To begin the motor was freshly sprayed with silver paint, some paint was just laid over grime and oil buildup. gaskets showed indication of being old and oily. exhaust ports were capped but when said caps were removed they were extremely coated with carbon build up. Oil filler had sludge and showed residue of being left open and out to elements. As mention engine was sprayed silver to imitate it looking clean or rebuilt, and water pump was removed and housing area was sprayed too...but upn checking heater hard lines they had rust and were heavily pitted. But besides that we considered buying it because owner said it had warrantyWhen we go to ask about warranty, owner gives general idea of warranty but has nothing actually indicating what is covered.When we go to pay, secratary thought it was cash so we tell her we are going to pay card, and tells us she then has to add 150 for taxes plus a 40 debit card fee. That point we ask if she can waive fee, states its a must with card transactions. We tell her to just forget it we were going to look at another motor. She runs to owner and comes back states they are able to waive fee. Advise her we will think about it after looking at another motor, leave our options open. She states we have to tell the owner that she is not the sales department, uh you guys work together? So we walk out.Owner comes out all upset raising his voice questioning why were not buying. Advised him we were goint to see another motor. He flips out saying that this why he hates to bring motors in because he has to pay for them and pay freight and then people dont buy. That he had to bring it from tucson...Ugh what happened to having it already in house? Shady if i may say, should not advertise having something in stock if he does not. Understand him wantinf to make a sale, but why lie about it, and lie about the motor conditions...never doing business with them...Other people may have had some good experiences, but this is my share and id stay away.

I had filled out online parts search. And mid west trans sent email after email stating they have every part I need and call them. I called and the rude sales guy who never gave his name, said what you looking for.....and I told him and he said oh no we only do engines and transmissions (Im looking only for collision parts). I asked why I got emails and then was hung up on, called back and was called inappropriate names from a so called professional business whos sales guy hung up on me. So I called back to hr dept and the lady said owner was on other line. And said I would wait and was hung up on again. I called back and asked for the owner again talked to him which turns out to be famous JAKE. Well he just keep asking what Im looking for, and informs me that I talked to the wrong guy(sales dept...lol) and they do sell other parts and what is it that iam looking for, he would talk over me and ask what are you looking for. What I asked the owner Jake in the first place was why did I get emails from your company when you dont have the parts or even sell them. He would not answer and keep asking what parts. I at this point would never order a part from them even if no other part was avail on earth. I was not interested anymore in finding parts thru them (been a month and half long search) and didnt want to go over parts i wanted to deal with his business practices and his employees behavior. Jake ended up hanging up on me too. So makes since why the employees are non professional dont know what their talking about and cant run a respectful business. This is all my options. I recommend DONT DO business with THEM and go to the next company in your search. If you get emails from them about parts dont call delete immediately STAY AWAY. All reviews are either 1 star real customers or 5 star probably family and friends employees.....kinda telling. Read how similar each 5 star rating discription is....kinda funny

Sounded like a good deal for 768.75 Than I saw a charge of 1850.00 bucks on my Bank Of AmericaTim called to inform me he was taking his family on vacation before his kids go back to school....He committed fraud and criminals are stupid He will be arrested by the fraud division at Bank Of America
