Ron at Firestone off of Guadalupe in Gilbert, AZ went above and beyond in customer service. I was so impressed with his professionalism, kindness and made sure he checked what i asked. He changed my oil and then checked my tires. I just purchased a new battery so he didnt need to check. After leaving my tire light came on and beeped. I thought oh no.. i was heading out in a day for vacation and was short on time... I drove back to the store and it was after closing time. Ron was still in and saw i drove up.. he waived at me and came out to see what was wrong.. WHO DOES THIS ANYMORE - RON does!!!!. He is amazing and can not say enough about his work ethic. If you live near by - definitely come to this Firestone for business and ask for RON - EXCELLENT SERVICE !!! Thank you Ron !
Was a wonderful experience I had a lot of questions and they did not seem irritated by the amount that I had was very timely and affordable just try to make an appointment before also heads up to anyone who doesnt know oil changes around the US have gone up drastically so expect different prices but still reasonable

I needed some work done on the car so I gave Firestone a shot. I walked in with no one in line and the guy Cary at the front just stood there without greeting me for quite some time. Then he finally said something and it seemed like he was bothered by me coming in. I just turned around and said thx but no thx. Customer service needs work at this location
I walked in to have a tire replaced. I have a Firestone tire already that is brand new. I ask if they can mount and balance the tire of there brand and he says no we can only mount new tires. I Saif well that is a new tire and he says from 2018. Well the tire was never used so its still new right? Im sure there is new tires sitting in there store that are from previous years so why cant my tire be installed. He says Ill sell you a new tire and I said I already have a new tire. Its amazing to see the amount of money that is turned away with such a simple job. Well guess what I payed a shop to get that tire on so your loss is there greater business. I will never recommend anyone go to or service there vehicle at any Firestone again. I have had many vehicles in and out of Firestone locations but this will be the last. Ill send people to Walmart tire center for tire replacement

Went to go get an alignment, simple enough a request. They handled the previous car I owned quite well, so I had no reservations about putting the handling characteristics of my vehicle in their very capable hands once again.Now I dont know if they love Camrys or something, but boy did I ever get more than I expected.Although an alignment is what I did pay for, I did not receive one of those. I came in and stated that the car pulled hard to the right when the wheel was straight, and left 5 hours later quite surprised when my car still did the exact same thing. Not sure what kind of car fairy they were hoping would wave a magic torque wrench over my suspension and straighten it out for them, but it forgot to show up.So what did my $101 go to you might wonder. Well, to balance out the lack of an alignment, they kindly decided to swap my two front tires to the opposite sides. Now, as if that wasnt enough to warrant the bill, they even went above and beyond and put so much passion into torqueing my lug nuts down that they turned the hexagons into circles. As circle sockets are quite advanced and havent made it into the local AutoZone yet, I am now unable to remove my front wheels and figure out for myself what the actual problem might be.Whoever I interacted with at the counter wasnt bad, but to the wrechnician who somehow managed to mess up a Toyota Camry, just know there is a 10th circle of hell for those who put on lug nuts with an impact driver.Sure hope I dont get a flat before I can get this resolved, my spare tire is now about as useful as a UTI degree.

Took my 2012 Honda Civic in for an alignment after experiencing rocking in my steering wheel and front end vibration that I had explained prior to coming in. (Shame on me for not taking it to my mechanic first.)Firestone did a basic inspection and provided the alignment and advised me of wear on both front tires but failed to catch a large rip, exposing the wire belting inside, in the front passenger side tire which was the tire I had explained that was giving me issues. The alignment fixed nothing because the alignment wasnt the issue to begin with and had I been notified of the rip in my tire I couldve resolved the issue by purchasing a tire first; instead of an alignment first and THEN a tire from another location after getting a second look from my mechanics at Automotive Performance and Repair in Gilbert.When brought to the attention of Firestone I was provided a simply apology and they advised it mustve been an honest mistake and that could be true enough, but it couldve been a costly mistake that may have caused massive damage to my own car let alone another had this rip become a blow out and lead to loss of control of my vehicle at highway speeds.Ive had issues with Firestone in Tempe on Baseline but never this location until today. Honest mistake or not, this is something I see as unacceptable oversight for a business specializing in wheels/tires.

The guys here are amazing, one of them went out of their way to where I was to put air in my tire, but ended up getting it towed because there was a gash and it wouldnt hold air. They were fast and friendly. Definitely will be my go to place for my car!!!
I took my car in about a month ago for new tires and an oil change. Yesterday I opened the hood to change my air filter, and it turns out they opened the air filter box and never closed it again.
When it rains it pours, my car started having issue after issue and they were always there to help me out! Thank you a ton Derrell !
My father has used Firestone for many years, both personal and work vehicles. I thought I would give them a try myself for an alignment. Every step of the way it was a struggle to get the team to communicate. After picking up the vehicle I had to ask the guy to go over my paperwork and explain the process (later found out he was a trainee there by himself, wow) I was told it was test driven, but when I drove it, it obviously hadnt since it still pulls to the right. I was told there were some adjustments they couldnt make, but never explained why, or what was causing the misalignment, but was told in spite of those issues, it drives straight (the trainee told me that). On top of all that at 3 different times, I asked them to find and replace the wheels as they were damaged (very noticeable as well), but all 3 times it was not noted or executed (I had to take care of that myself at home). They didnt even balance the wheel or test it in anyway. None of the notes on this checkup list were discussed, I had to interpret the chicken scratch myself, only to find that the tech recommended struts, since one was leaking, a camber correction bolt that would have helped alignment that wasnt completed, and some other random items. When I spoke with the manager he basically blamed trainees and that he was sorry he wasnt in the shop at the time of my visit. My experience left me feeling like this company (or at least location) has a major lack of communication, lack of professionalism, and lack of any real automotive knowledge beyond general maintenance and tire rotations. Find yourself a good reputable mechanic to work on your car, its totally worth it. As for me? Im off to another company to have my car aligned properly this time, or at the very least to have them show me why they cant.
I had an appointment and my tires were at the store. I waited over an hour just for them to change my tires. I waited over 30 minutes for them just to take my car to the bay. We’re at sat for over 20 minutes before they even touched it. I can see my car. When they finally started doing the work it only took 15 minutes for them to put all four tires on my car. So why did they wait make me wait so long?The bathroom was filthy the rugs were coming apart and dirty the chairs were dirty. So I had to wait in a dirty waiting room
I needed a last minute complete alignment for my Tacoma after some suspension work. So I called ahead, but only made it into the shop half an hour before they closed. Darryl (shop manager) made sure to take care of me. He said they probably only have time to look but might be able to adjust the alignment a bit so at least itd be driveable. Man, not only did they stay a little late to get the alignment completely done, my Tacoma tracks like its on rails now. A+ service, thanks Darryl and team.

I came in today to get 2 rear tires. Darryl was the representative that took care of me and he was so helpful, patient and knowledge! I have an autistic son that was having a tough day and they helped me out putting 2 guys on the job so I could get him home. Am so thankful for their compassion and professionalism! Took car in for simple alignment, tech seemed like he wasnt having a good day when he came up to the counter. Considered taking my car somewhere else but i figured this grumpy dude might not be the one to work on my car. Whoever did, made the alignment 10x worse and now it pulls sharply to the right. Just save some money and take your car to Network automotive

The staff at this location has been extremely helpful and patient with answering questions that I have about the maintenance being done on my vehicle. Even when they are busy, they still take the time to explain what they will be doing. They also took the time to quickly research what coupons were available, which I really appreciated. I was able to get a few more things taken care of due to them researching available coupons, such as windshield wipers, engine filter, and cabin filter. It was so nice to get it all done at one place at a reasonable price!!
I have been taking my cars to this location for four years. I have always had a good customer experience here. Two technicians are friendly and honest and if giving me good advice. If ever there was an issue they were quick to fix it. Theyve always honored warranties. I love having the lifetime alignment so I can always make sure my cars drive well.
The service managers and technicians provide excellent service. My family has been coming here for 6 years and theyve kept all our vehicles in great condition. Every part on my 1995 Chevy S-10 pickup has been replaced by mechanics at Firestone. My last visit to Firestone was for a Lube & Oil change, AC compressor inoperative and was replaced. every thing was done in an exceptional and professional manner as in all of the work they have perform over the years. I recognize store manager Darryl and mechanic Andrew for keeping my vehicle road worthy and safe.

Took my truck here 3 different times within like 4 months and I experienced and this is no exaggeration.... 3 different technicians and 3 different problems with my truck. The only reason and I mean THE only reason my wife and I take our cars here is because we have a firestone card. Ill only take our vehicles here for oil changes for now on.
Had an oil change done at this location. We noticed no issues with anything prior to coming to this shop. After we left we are given a recommendation list of $1100 items that need to be replaced including oil leaking from the oil pan gasket? We never noticed any leaks prior to the oil change tonight and on top of that after they are finished now the check engine light is on. They did use the code scanner to find evaporator emission system leak detected. We had them change the oil last time we needed it done 3000 miles ago roughly 3 months for us due to vacation. Had no issues, noticed no problems until this change tonight. We do not plan on coming back to this location.
I stopped by at 4:14 for a simple tire rotation and possible alignment . I was told by the manager that he can’t do it since he has a meeting at 5.So much for customer service !By the way the place closes at 6 PM so he could have conducted his meeting after 6 PM when they close the business.First time and last time at this location.They don’t want my business and I have choices.

I purchased tires and had some other services done. They called to okay the pricing and then added charges. The staff was polite, but adding unapproved charges is not okay. Guess I should have stuck with Discount Tires for purchasing tires.

I am so livid! First time getting car serviced here and absolute last! I really was not going to get my car serviced because of time consumption. When I spoke with the head guy at the counter about my concerns with time, I was told that the job my car needed services for typically takes about 1 1/2hr, however I stressed the concern of time and was told that is the standard time, could be earlier, but typically takes about 1 1/2hrs. I agreed with that knowing it could take the whole time. So about an hour and 15 of waiting I approach the counter to to find how much longer it will take on my car. I waited at the counter for the same amount of time the employee was on the phone, which was literally no BS about 15min at least! All that standing and waiting for him to tell me that they ordered the wrong part and itll be about another hour till my car is ready. WTH!!! IT took every Godly force to best keep my composure and not scream. Im so upset. I paid $350 to wait around for 3 damn hours, to get told its gonna be more time on your vehicle because of theyre incompetence.
Idc what anyone says, but I was robbed of 735 dollars. Took my car in for a specific issue. They decide to fix something that wasn’t the issue and charge me 735. Then they tell me they can’t fix the issue I originally took it in for. These guys are crooks. Don’t waste your money.
They told me that they where going to order a tire for my car and they never did and never even called me. So when I called them they said they never heard of me I was like what, i have the paper work right here. So i will never go to them again. They where nice but the service sucks. The dont deserve a star at all. I give them no stares.
We came to this location today because it had great reviews. Unfortunately its hard to give a good review when youre sitting outside the shop an hour after it is supposed to be open, the manager is nowhere to be found, and the techs who showed up on time cant get in or work. Pretty disappointed and we havent even made it inside yet.
Took my car in for an oil change and brake pad/rotor maintenance. Ive been going here for years and its been documented on my account that the drivers side window motor doesnt work and the window doesnt roll down. They call me telling me my window is stuck because the tech put it down for some reason and then tried to give me a quote to have it fixed. I refused and now my window is jimmy rigged up with nothing but cardboard between the window and door panel. When I open and close the door, the window comes crashing down and when I push it back up, it does not seal properly. I just think they have some nerve breaking my window, trying to quote me to fix it, and the rigging it like that. I miss the old manager, Israel.And my girlfriend took her car in five times because the battery kept dying and the electrical accessories were acting up. Each time they just replaced it without any diagnostics. After the fifth time, we were fed up and took it to a dealership and come to find out, there was a crack in the engine amongst other issues with the car they overlooked.Safe to say, we no longer use their services. The new management and crop of techs are awful.
Had a tire replaced and they sent me out with it low which made me nervous. The rep who helped me told me the rest of my tires were about dead and needed to be replaced within the year. Since I was already uncertain, I went somewhere else to order them and found out my tires look perfectly fine and have about two years left instead. Get a second opinion!

Ive been sitting here waiting for my car to be finished and I keep seeing them treat their customers extremely well. A shout out to Israel too. Great customers services for alignment: They have a repair bay set up with a rack designed to computer align all 4 wheels! I ended up with a computer printout of before and after. For real great services. Thank you Darryl

Changing my review. I use to get good customer service and good aliments. Bought a life time aliment. Last 2 time I dropped my truck of didnt recive a call saying its finished and the aliment is just the same if not worse from when I bought it in.Time before same experience. Id suggest finding a different shop.Always seem to get me in for my aliments.

Darryl and his team are amazing. Ive had to make vehicle maintenance apointments twice this week and he was able to get me in the same day as I called. The customer service at this Firestone is unparalleled and will continue to use this location for all of my cars needs. I was also able to stay at the shop both times while the work was being done and was out both times in under an hour. Great work and would recommend to anyone looking for outstanding vehicle maintenance.
Took a 2013 honda civic here to have the suspension looked at due to a metal on metal noise. They advised the bushings were missing and it would be $300 to fix. I pulled the tire off and the bushing was there just not in the bracket. No parts needed. Was also told 3 out of 4 tires were to the bars. None of the tires are at the bars.
I took my car to do a complete inspection (not courtesy) and they didnt mention about coolant being low. The coolant level was below low line. They said it will be done in an hour. After waiting an hour and 45 minutes I asked and they said they are half way done. They also found a few other problems with the car that needs to be fixed. I asked for quote and they completely failed to give me a quote at the end. I will not be taking my car again to this place.

Car wasnt leaking oil until I brought it here for a oil change. And was told the MIL light wasnt on when I brought it in even though it was still on when I got it back. Was told to get a $100 diagnostic for my shaking car even though a experienced technician would have simply recommended the visible top motor mount was visually cracked & in bad condition. These people will robb you if you let them.

I was so impressed with Juan and his team! I had an imminent need on my car and was leaving the next day and it needed to be fixed. I called first thing in the morning and they told me to bring it in and they will get working on it right away. They went above and beyond in customer service and had the problem fixed in just a couple hours. I would highly recommend Firestone Gilbert!

While they did a great job helping me get a couple tires at a great price, they managed to put the two existing tires on my car backwards. Those tires are directional and have a nice big arrow pointing in the direction the tire should spin while driving forward. When directional tires are put on in reverse it is possible for the tire to shred apart. I drove for a month before I noticed this problem. So today, 19NOV12, I came back in so they can make it right. The manager, instead of taking the car in right away, told me I would have to wait an hour and a half just to flip the tires around. I had to raise my voice to in front of other customers before he took me seriously. He tried to tell me that the two customers that are waiting were more important than my safety concerns due to their error. I WILL NOT be coming back!
Even though i discovered that one of my locking lug nuts were missing after one of my appointments to get an alignment (only 4 lug nuts instead of 5) The manager did offer to put a whole new set on. Good thing nothing broke in the interim?
This location is a scam. They will rip you off for every penny they can squeeze from you. If they tell you they can fix something. I promise you they are lying. They tore my AC apart and said they could fix it. $1400 later they gave the car back to me with no AC fixed. In the middle of July during the hottest summer on record. Absolute scumbags. They dont care about you at all. ESPECIALLY if you are a women. I was talked down to and as though I was an idiot. As soon as boyfriend talked to them, COMPLETE tone change. Unbelievable. NEVER GO HERE. You are better off ANYWHERE else.

This place is just a scam, someone took my insurance information and filed a claim saying that my car was involved in a parking lot hit, after confronting the staff I asked to show that video I wanted to email it to my insurance company they said that the manager was not there and that they could, every time I would go in there to ask for surveillance they had an excuse, I left my phone number my email and I never received a call an email or anything, the last time I was there I left my credit card there it fell of my pocket I called the bank and reported it lost, well I go in there couple days later and they said they found a card with my name funny they never called even though they had all my information. Don’t waist your time here.
I came here for an oil change, brakes, and diagnostic. I have been to two mechanics in the past who couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car and these guys figured it out and fixed it right away and for a reasonable price. This is the first time in months my car has started on the first try and I am SO happy. The people here are really honest and up front about what you do and do not need. They do not attempt to up sell you on things you dont need. They could easily have done my brakes even though it turned out I did not need them done, but they told me it was not necessary and saved me time and money. Great customer service doesnt begin to sum up my experience here. I made the mistake of going to other places in the past, but I will always go with Firestone now.
My family takes all of our cars here for service. Prices are on par with what you can expect - they wont overcharge you. Service is exceptionally good. Im sure Ill be back!
I went in because my check engine light was on and asked them to check it. they then came back to me and told me I needed an $800 fix (which I got) and when I left the shop my car couldnt top 25 MPH (an issue I hadnt had before.) I would highly reccomend driving another 2 miles down the road to go to Spencers Auto instead. they fixed my issue on very short notice and charged a reasonable price. not to sound overly aggressive, but I hope Firestone and all other scamming automotive services which take advantage of unknowledgeable people are run out of business and fail to feed themselves and their families.

Firestone does not care about people. After several bad experiences years ago I said I would never come back to another one. I got new license plates and was having trouble getting my old rusted screws out and got one screw broken in there. Someone at autozone referred me to go there and see if they could do it with proper tools. There were 3 customers in line when I got there and the ONE guy at the desk assured me he would be right with me. After waiting 30 minutes I finally got to ask the mechanic about my problem. He said he would go ask the guys about it. 15 minutes later he came and told me- for the first 30 minutes of labor it would be $60 to look at it and if it took longer it would go up to $90 or more without even a guarantee they can fix it. I just needed someone to look at my screws for less than 10 minutes but after waiting on my ass and wasting 45 minutes there I left. What a ridiculous quote for nothing. Obviously its my fault I wasted 45 minutes with them in hindsight but this topped it off for me again. Firestone is the most worthless mechanic. They couldnt care less about their customers. I will never go to another one again.
Awful. I had an APPOINTMENT for 12:00 and was there at 12:03. They told me it was going to be a couple of hours and to come back then and I came back around 1:00 just to check up on it. The most that was done to my car was a drape put on my seat. We waited in the shop until 2:00 just watching them sit down on their phones and when we asked what was going on theh jumped up and said we thought you guys were taking off for a couple of hours. Terrible service. I highly do not recommend this place. It is now almost 3:00 and they have not done anything remotely close to trying to solve the problem I told them that is wrong with my car.

Longtime customer. Called ahead to have the coolant light indicator checked when it came on. An hour before close and the night clerk will not look at my car unless I authorize a service I may not need and I know they do not carry the vw coolant for the service they wanted me to buy without seeing the car first. I took car to the vw dealership and they notified me that Firestone had just been pumping water into my coolant resivour during my routine maintenance visits until there was no coolant left in the system. Each time I had service done I requested Firestone use the correct VW chemicals which they said they ordered when i made my appts for service in advance. This is the last straw I will take my money, my referrals, and my business to another company.
