She called me daily with updates and explained to me in great detail the diagnosis of my car, and kept me up to date with what the mechanic found, or the work that had been done. It was completed in a timely manner, and the problem I took it in for has been completely fixed. Would recommend for sure.

This is the place you want going to do the inspection! We just moved in Maryland, have two cars needed to do inspection within 30days. We searched online, see the place has many good reviews! So we decided to give it a try. The two ladies working for front desk are very friendly, experienced and helpful! The technician get my two cars done just about 3hours! The price is great than others!

Computers here run a little slow sometimes; but, staff is great.Theres a sign shop inside with engraved mugs, shirts and banners for sale. A lot to look at while you wait. Or, you can watch the big screen with non stop current news events. There is also comfortable seating if you get tired of standing.Of course there may be minimal surcharges you probably would not have to pay at MVA; For expedited tags and title service, without having to make an appointment, that could take as long as 3 weeks, l am thankful for it!

Needed service on my Ram Truck as I was getting a single click when trying to start the engine. I informed the shop of my issues and was set up for a Friday. Dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday and was called the next day that my vehicle was completed. Was also informed that my brakes looked good but the rotors were gouged and should be replaced, I requested a price and was called back within thirty minutes with a price. I gave the okay and was called back around 4:30 saying the truck was ready to be picked up. I will be taking my vehicles here for general service as well as any other major work needing to be done. I give a great big thank you from the front office to the mechanics in the shop Thank You all for a fantastic job!!!!!!

My skoolie bus broke down and I had it towed here after a recommendation. They fixed the transmission. Ive been driving and my vehicle feels hot I feel comfortable with the owner, Mark, so I will be bringing it back so he can tell me directly if there are any other issues that need to be addressed. My current 5 star review is for Mark who took the time to call me personally when I was dissatisfied with the attention and care I received from the receptionist.

Going down 83, my head lights went out these guys took a look at my car in no time and couldnt find a issue and checked all over I was fully prepared to pay the diagnostics fee but they waived it and wished me luck my cars lights are as bright as ever lol thank you guys again for your time I will recommend you for sure! I feel like any other body shop would have charged me.

Took my car for MD inspection had to call them to ask about car. Was told estimate was not ready yet. When called told me I needed rear middle seat belt would be about 3 hundred from dealership. New windshield cost ? New muffler I knew about and battery hold down 35 bucks. Seat belt is there windshield ok . Muffler would cost around 250 or 300. Place is a rip off stay away. I payed the 93 bucks for there lies an got my car away from that place. Beware.

Juanita was very nice,however, they coundnt help resolve the issue with my vehicle and I still had to pay 188.00 and another 74$ to have it towed to Browns Honda.

They need to update their website, they do not have a mobile team and they do not work on RVs older than 2005.

Probably the best experience I have had with a shop for a car related service. I went in at 8am to get an MD state inspection. They do a walk-in from 8-12. They started they inspection almost immediately. While I was there I spoke with Juanita about possibly getting the tags and registration taken care of. I had an appointment to do it at the DMV but of course nobody wants to go there! Juanita walked me through the process, gave me the total price, and it was well worth avoiding the nightmare that is the DMV. Prices across the board were very reasonable and everything was taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend them for anyone who needs a state inspection or anyone who does not want to hassle with the DMV for tags and registration. There are some food places close so you can head out for breakfast while the inspection is being done.

Dropped my car off on a Monday, being told that it would be looked at on Tuesday. On Tuesday I was told it would be looked at on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I was told it would be looked at on Thursday. On Thursday I was told that the problem was the battery, and that that was $130 diagnostic fee, plus $40 labor, plus the cost of the battery. And that they could get it done by Friday.The entire time, of course, I was paying for a rental. So that I could wait a week to pay $170 for a service that autozone would have done for free. Those fees would not bother me so much if they hadnt delayed a week - I could have gotten the battery checked myself for free, but didnt think to do that based on the problem, and they have knowledge I dont. I get that. And they did test drive it after, which was the only reason I paid for them to put the battery in - in case it didnt solve the problem, they would have checked for more issues. Thats fine.Or it would have been fine if they had done it on Tuesday like they said. Or told me when theyd really get around to it.Instead, they strung me along for a week with definitely tomorrow one day at a time, adding a couple hundred more dollars to my total cost. And that I do not appreciate.They did send me a text asking for a review though, so here it is.

I took my new boat trailer to get a Maryland inspection. I was immediately greeted, checked in and the inspector was looking at the trailer in no time. I was done in 30 minutes. No appointment needed. The service was outstanding! All other locations that I called were booked out at least 3 weeks and since my trailer had brakes, most places couldn’t do it anyway. There is no wonder why Maryland Auto and Truck Repair came highly recommended by Dave’s Trailer.

Needed an MD inspection for my car before I gave it to my sister, got 3 quotes from other places that were too high and had at least a 3 day wait period. Called MD auto and Truck Thursday and they had it done before 11am Friday. they also did it $20 cheaper than all of my other quotes. thanks guys

Stopped in here for a last minute MD safety inspection before getting tags on my vehicle. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. They had me in and out in one day. Pretty good for not requiring appointments.

I have a 2003 Dodge 3500 that needed some general maintenance and electrical repair. Mark responded to my initial email within an hour of submitting it and talked over the phone about the issues I was having. When I brought the truck to the shop Mark went out and we went through the truck and what I wanted fixed and trouble shot. During the course that my truck was at the shop I was given updated phone calls (by Mark and Juanita) and asked if I wanted certain items fixed, replaced, or leave alone with estimates on labor and parts. They replaced my alternator, A/C and trouble shot a lot of issues I had going on with the truck. I am new to the Maryland area and I worry about being taken advantage of, but this shop really takes care of its customers. Look forward to using the shop in the future for my truck maintenance and repairs as my primary shop. Thanks for all the help and work.

Great experience here in the midst of car trouble. This was one of the places that honored my extended warranty. After running the diagnostic test, they noted that the problem was covered by the power train warranty rather than the extended warranty and advised me to take it to the Ford dealer. This honesty and the personal attention that Juanita and Jessica gave to me, even though the repairs were not done there, makes me feel very comfortable in using their services whenever they arise in the future. Out of state diesel break down on a Saturday morning. Made a few calls. After talking to Mark and then getting back to my mechanic in p.a we both felt mark was an honest and experienced mechanic. He assigned a tech on Tuesday and on Wednesday Juanita called and said its done!!!. There are few things in life that worry you like your truck in another state with someone you dont know. I recently purchased a used RV from another state and brought it home to Maryland. As part of the licensing process, it needed an inspection. Although the original inspection had to be rescheduled due to rainy weather, it was completed quickly.Juanita in the office was very helpful, especially with the need to fix two minor issues to pass inspection. The team did a very thorough and careful job making sure everything was in good working order. They even assembled all the passenger seat belts, which I had yet to do.I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone that needed mechanical repairs on their vehicle.

My family and I drove from Fort Worth Texas pulling a 32 travel trailer. 14 hrs a day for 2 days and as soon as we got to Baltimore a check engine light came on. I drive a 2015 Ram 2500 cummins and know very little about motors. We found a autozone that scanned the code which was a p0082 code. Which suggested I replace my fuel pump. Needless to say we were worried about a costly repair and being without a vehicle. My wife found Maryland Auto &Truck repair online. From the first contact they were knowledgeable and advised to leave the truck with them to do their own diagnostics. The technician spent several hours diagnosing my truck, drained my fuel filters, drove it hooked up to their computer, checked my fuel rail, left it at idel, and after they were satisfied that everything was check and passed their inspection they called with the good news that my truck has been fixed and they only charged me for the diagnostics. It could of been very easy for them to take advantage of our situation for thir gain. I would recommend this shop to anyone reading this review. Thanks again.

Really enjoyed my experience with Maryland auto and truck repair. They actually have a halfway decent waiting room. Unlike so many repair places that are dirty and may not even have chairs. This place had a nice modern clean waiting area. they started servicing my vehicle for Maryland state inspection as soon as I got there, they perform the work quickly, and even offered MVA services. Would definitely return.

Overall it was a good experience, however your technician thought we had a seized caliper. We took the RV to an authorized ram dealer and they determined there was no seized caliper and in fact there was a rock stuck in the rotor. They said that if your technician had looked more deeply they would have found the rock and that once the rock was removed there was no longer a problem with it spinning. Everything spun perfectly when the rock was removed. No big deal though it could’ve saved us a lot of driving because I ended up going to a dodge ram dealer first in Dundalk Maryland and then in Clarksville Maryland And finally I ended up going to Criswell Dodge Ram in Gaithersburg Maryland. The right rear tire had no caliper seizure and only needed a rock to be removed. And then everything worked perfectly. Sorry you guys weren’t able to diagnose this I guess better luck next time. In the end I am glad that they noticed there was a problem so that we were able to get that rock removed. I just wished Maryland auto and truck had found and removed it oh well thanks again.

I decided to use Maryland Auto & Truck Repair after reading their google reviews. I scheduled my car for a state inspection and was not disappointed! From booking the appointment to picking my car up I received nothing less than stellar service. They were polite, kind, and friendly. They even arranged for me to be able to pick up my vehicle after hours when I let them know I wouldn’t make it back in time for pick up. This place is terrible. I took my truck for inspection, and everything was going to plan until the day came for me to pick it up. I already thought I was being overcharged but I said no problem I’ll pay it. I asked the front desk to please leave my keys in glove compartment because I did not have extra keys to the truck. I got there and THE TRUCK WAS LOCKED!! I just got the truck and it’s on my to do list to get a spare, for the time being I don’t have any. It took 45 minutes to get to the place. It was 8 at night, so what was I supposed to do? I tried to unlock it myself but I did not have the proper tools, so I had to call a locksmith. I was out there maybe an hour and a half trying to get this issue resolved. The locksmith finally charged me $250. I called the shop the next day and they said all they could do for me was do some work in exchange. I don’t need work!!! I need my money. This isn’t even my fault. I clearly asked the front desk, please leave my keys in the truck, I DO NOT HAVE EXTRA KEYS!!! AS IN DO NOT LOCK THE TRUCK, I DONT HAVE A WAY TO GET IN! Mind you I spent nearly 3000 dollars at this place.

I needed a quick state safety inspection and tag/title registration. Although they couldn’t process my tag due to my wife’s name change, they did everything they could to get the MVA to process it. They set me up with everything I needed to walk into the MVA and do it quickly. They went very above and beyond what they were paid for. Highly recommend!!

I bought a 2 year old fifth wheel camper out of state, so I needed to complete a safety inspection prior to receiving tags and title. This is one of the few places in the area that will inspect a fifth wheel of this size (35 ft), as most other shops turned me away due to the length. And the fact that I could avoid the hassle of an MVA and do everything on one stop was well worth it to do business here!

Service was the best i have ever received. Very Fast and professional. Ms. Juanita at the front desk was amazing. She was very kind and sweet and so helpful! This is definitely my new go to spot for all of my car repair/service needs.

Apparently, Im some kind of lunatic. I make an appointment, I bring my car in on time, and I expect them to LOOK at it THE SAME DAY I BROUGHT IT IN??!! What a weirdo! Granted, they did get around to fixing it, eventually, which was apparently a huge favor.

Was surprised at that.Stack of magazines to look at. They were old and well leafed thru but it fit the atmosphere.. A regular customer came and sat down and seemed content to wait. Juanita was great helping me get my car titled. If it’s within their power they will do it. Tried to get and old Porsche registered that was previously an out of state car. She could not because of a glitch with the DMV/MVA. For my second car, (another out of state classic car) she was able to get it done!Thank you Juanita!

Before I located this company I talked to other companies who installed engines. They made me uncomfortable with no guarantees of the engines and the service. Hi my name is Fran Bosch unfortunately I couldn’t get my sons joke google name switchedAnyway I was looking for a high rated shop to get a safety inspection on my truck without getting taken advantage of. I ended up calling Maryland Auto and Truck service. At appointed time I took my truck in and it was done sooner than expected. Unfortunately it failed because I had a new topper put on the bed that had a third brake light that wasn’t hooked up. They told me if I took it home and removed topper and came back they would sign off on it. I picked it up and paid very reasonable inspection fee and took truck home. I wired up lights and took it back a few days later and received my safety inspection. Everyone I met there was very professional and was very nice to interact with. Not only would I go back for another safety inspection I would have them work on my vehicles if they break down. Everyone from the nice lady who is receptionist to the gentleman who did safety inspection treated me respectfully and professionally Thank you. Fran Bosch

Great service up to the end! When it was time to come pick up my car, the lady was very nice when she asked me when I would be able to come get it. I wasn’t going to be able to get it before they closed but she said she would try to stay late if she could. Not only did she stay late, but she stayed way after they closed. I was so thankful for this woman who wanted to make sure that I had my car for the weekend. If she hadn’t waited I wouldn’t have been able to get it until the next Monday when they re-opened. After purchasing a used travel trailer we were having problems finding a place to have it inspected. To complicate matters, no one seemed to be able to assist with a temporary tag while we waited for inspection. Juanita at Maryland Auto & Truck Repair went above and beyond to assist. She was extremely persistent in researching and resolving our problem where others had failed. She discovered a Maryland MVA system issue and refused to stop until she was able to take care of us. After explaining the exact problem to the sales clerk, a week later I received a call reporting my car needed 4 other services other than what I originally requested, most were already complete. Needless to say I felt I spent unnecessary time and money with this company and did not feel valued! The itemized receipt does not add up to the service that was performed. Do not recommend unless you have time and money to waste!

Major engine installation - great job. Our 2005 Explorer engine failed after 128k miles. So, we got several quotes. The Maryland Car and Truck was with a rebuilt engine rather than a used engine. I like the idea of a rebuilt or new rather than used. But, most importantly was quality of work.They met my expectations ! I said not to use any old components that looked like they could fail in a year or two. At a minimum, put on a new alternator. They also suggested new coils and a new battery. Good idea. I spent a little more, but I’m hoping for a few years of low maintenance. Quality Job. See the photo.

I was nervous at first when I pulled up because it was kind of “back-alley” looking. They were so nice, accommodating to me and my daughter, and had the most honest staff. I was blown away by their customer service and I highly recommend. Not only did they help me, but they educated me on what to look for when I’m buying a used car as well. I had to threaten to call the police just to get my vehicle back and for them to change the price on a quote. They refused to get me a SUPERVISOR and refused to turn over my keys.
