I LOVED SEARS, HOWEVER, THEY ARE SLOWLY CLOSING MOST STORES. THERE IS ONE THAT I VISIT AT MARLEY STATION MALL. THAT ONE IS STILL DOING BUSINESS!!! NOT FULLY LIKE IT USED TO BE!! BUT, IT IS OPEN!!
The guys did an amazing job changing my tires. Just a heads up anyone going here be prepared to wait for awhile. They are currently hiring and its only 2 people working so try to be patient with them :).
Was changing tires. Took 3 hours which is a bit long, however Ive got an old truck and they said lugs were sticking, which I dont doubt they havent been off in a while. I did this through Amazon, but for the price 3 hours was worth it. 60-70 for all 4 large tires on a 2500.
So we went in to have them fix the alignment on my Honda CRV(just had new tires put on and only 37000 miles). The man at the front was nice enough. He told us the charge would be 78 for front and back alignment with 6 months insurance. It’ll take an hour. Great. Twenty minutes later we get a call and our $79 job has turned into a $400 job because the front right tire’s rod needed to be replaced/fixed before the could do the alignment. Took it elsewhere and had the alignment done no issues. Everything fine underneath.
Went in to get new tires put in my car. Came out with my dashboard showing check tailgate light and I couldnt open my trunk from inside the car. I called the shop to report my concern and I was rudely told by the staff to take my car to the dealership to figure out what the problem was since I had otherlight previously showing on the dashboard and had other things wrong with the car and that they had nothing to do with it.I will not recommend this particular shop to anyone as their customer service is awful. Ive never written any negative comments on any website ever but this is the worst interaction Ive ever heard with regards to problem solving for my legitimate concern.
I had a great experience here today! They talked me out of some (very expensive) brake system work that another shop had told me I needed to do. Whens the last time you heard of a car shop telling you NOT to to give them money? They replaced the one light I knew was out, and found another one I didnt even know about. The entire time I felt like I was in complete control, and they wouldnt try to convince me to get any work done if I didnt want to.The prices were super reasonable too! I believe the guy in charge was named George, and he was awesome with explaining everything that was happening.I would highly recommend this Sears Auto Center.
First off let me start off by saying after reading all these bad reviews (which are 5 years old) I have to say my trip to this service center was a great experience.I started by calling them before coming in the gentleman over the was very nice and also very informative asking me questions about the vehicle that no other car company had asked me while I was calling around for quotes.I got in there at 5 oclock pm (they close at 6 p.m.). The gentleman was once again very nice and helped me to make sure that everything was checked on the car that needed to be. I believe his name was Mike (Im not a hundred percent on that) did a awesome job I saw him interacting with hard to deal with customers over the phone and he was just as nice a curious as he was with me.They called me at 5:30 p.m. diagnosing that my problem was a really low almost dead battery and made sure I gave them the go ahead before they did anymore repairs to the car. I green lit the project and they had the car back to me by 6 oclock on the dot. There were no hidden fees or anything the price that he quoted me was the price that he had given to me.All around this was just a pleasant experience and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get something fixed on their car or any kind of service needs. Great job guys keep up the good work!
Made an appointment for 1 for an oil change and alignment. Arrived on time, the intake process took about 15 mins and then I was informed I needed to new tires, no big deal. Thought that would add an additional hour to what I already had scheduled, from start to finish I was there over five hours.....highly disappointed!
Daniel and his team at Glen Burnie Sears Auto Center were very knowledgeable and professional regarding my 4 new tires that they installed, would definitely Recommend !
They did an awesome job on my tires and my alignment!
Came Sunday, second customer. Flat tire under warranty. Only one technician available. Service was slow as a result. Similar experience at other Sears Auto Centers. However, once my issue was reviewed, management did resolve my issue and I am satisfied.
The customer service in the auto center is consistently good
It not a good look cuz they not doing going by us
Horrible experience. Arrived at 1:30 pm for my 2 pm appointment and they tell me my appointment was cancelled. I didnt cancel my appointment. So I ask why nobody called to let me know my appointment was cancelled and no response, no reason given, no apology, nothing. Im definitely taking my business elsewhere. They dont even deserve a single star.
Very disrespectful staff here, Dan- The customer service lead worker hung up on me and refused to answer the phone the next 3 times I called. He picked it up and hung up. Management doesn’t care, I spoke with the Asst GM of Sears who said there’s nothing he can do. Well Sears - I’ll never be a customer again, you should do better by your customers.
Hello everyoneAfter they told me it’s 15 & charge to check my Subaru I said okay go aheadHe took the Milage, After 20 minuets he told me that they cannot garante any repairing because the car is high Milage! My question; why you charge me fifteen $ and you know the Milage front the binging?Don’t accept my car if you can’t do this job?
I HAD NO ISSUES WITH THIS LOCATION! VERY COURTEOUS, RESPECTFUL, & PROFESSIONAL.Its worth the drive from Catonsville to Glen Burnie.
Great shop fast service friendly staff...great work done on both my cars....
I actually really like Sears, so it pains me to have to write a negative review. However, I received very poor service from the auto care center. They had told me they order tires for me but never did, so I waited for a week and a half expecting tires, but none had ever been ordered. I also called 4 times within that week and a half to confirm the order and confirm the order, but they never mentioned anything about the order not being made. Lastly, they blamed it on me without any remorse and the worst customer service I have received in a long time. Needless to say I am very disappointed in a company that has been around a long time. This car care center will not receive my business or my recommendation in the future.
They helped me to understand whats wrong with my alignment
Fantastic service, fast, gave good advice, we agreed to a specific kind of tire that they turned out not to have enough of so they gave us a discount on the more expensive ones, 10/10 would recommend
The person I spoke to on the phone desperately needs some customer service training. Shockingly, people calling a mechanic may not have as much knowledge as the mechanic does to answer questions about whats wrong with a car just to get a basic quote. If I knew, I guess I wouldnt need a mechanic. Lost my business for sure.
Excellent customer service.
Helpfull staff. And prompt service.
Similar to the other reviewers the over charges here at not worth shopping at Sears. The mechanics get paid based on what is installed so they tend to uplift the what is required to complete the job. I would stay away...
We were told that our Suv front tire rod needed to be replaced and thats why they couldnt do the alignment they wanted to charge us 400 dollars. We went to a different shop for a second opinion and they said everything is fine so it feels like a scam.
Left one hole on the phone
The staff was nice and helpful.
Swipe this one left, folks.
Still the classic place
