I had an exhaust leak. After hooking the smoke machine to detect where the leak was they let me go in the garage area to see the problem.Honest people.

Champion is a great honest and fairly priced mechanic shop. I’ve had work done at this shop on 5+ different vehicles on dozens of different types of jobs over the last half decade I’ve lived in the area and would recommend them to everyone.

Went in for high mileage oil change, no communication whatsoever after about my car & 1 month later my car is saying it needs an oil change again & is almost out of oil after not much driving. I called & expressed concern about it & he just said hell turn off the light for me & didnt even ask my name & i wanted him to look the situation up just kept repeating he would just switch off oil change needed light even though Im nowhere near my next due. I dont think they even did a high mileage oil change or replaced the filter. They charged me less i thought they. Giving me a refrenced coupon but i think they just did wrong oil change. No one told me anything about anything literally 0 communication. Will not go there again

Monday, my car died about 7:30 pm in the rain in Greensboro. I contacted AAA & had the driver tow my car to this particular shop because it was closest to where my car let me down. The next day around noon, I received a call from a female rep from Champion with an update on my vehicle. Her entire tone was rude & aggressive. She was talking AT me ~ not to me. And she seemed to have a bit of an attitude all while attempting to get me to spend nearly $900 with this company.Due to her less than professional demeanor & her rudeness, I had my car towed to our regular mechanics shop within an hour of our unpleasant conversation. After expressing my disappointment in my experience with this company, a family member suggested that I call back & speak to a member of management to alert them to the situation. When I called back & spoke with the manager to explain my earlier experience with his team member ~ I immediately learned that the unprofessionalism didnt start or stop with the female employee. He began to raise his voice at me, put words in my mouth (that I never said), and ended our conversation with Im glad you took your car somewhere else! (repeated twice) and then he hung up on me!WOW! This is how you treat people in the community that has sustained you for 22 years??? What happened to common courtesy? What happened to treat people the way you would like to be treated? What happened to Customer Service? I hope & pray that no one else has this type of experience with this business.PS: By taking my vehicle to our mechanic, I was able to utilize my battery warranty and exchange if for a Free one and we saved over $385 in repair/labor costs! #WINNING

Will not stand behind their labor. 3 months ago they installed a timing belt and it just snapped causing 8 valves to be bent and needing to be taken to a machine shop to fix costing about $1400. They did not cover any of the cost for this repair and claimed it was due to a “faulty” timing belt that I had not even driven 3 months or 300 miles on. The belt manufacturers said it was likely due to the belt guide put on wrong or the belt being tightened too much but champion argued that they would tow my car off to a junk yard if I did not pay the repairs... so basically they did a $600 job in December that caused a $1400 job three months later that they took no responsibility for.

Had to get a new ignition switch put in my 94 cutlass. Had these guys do it and still have problem with the ignition switch and now everything in my steering column is going out. No headlights, turn signals, can hardly change gears, and cruise control is gone. Went from a 170 job to a 375 job. Thanks guys! Never will ever go here again.

****DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO CHAMPION AUTOMOTIVE ****Its been over 5 years since I let Champion Automotive service my vehicle. The auto machenics use to do such a great job and use quality parts on my camaro, I referred several of my friends my family members my Mother especially. EVENTUALLY they began to use bad parts and my car would fail shortly after leaving their lot. On 9/5/2014 my mother took her car to Champion Auto because her car would only start if jumper cables were used, she recently had a battery installed so we know it was not the battery, Champion assured her is was not her battery nor her alternator. Champion auto told my mom it was her serpentine belt that was going bad causing her vehicle not to start, My mom PAID $350.00 for PARTS AND LABOR just to replace serpentine belt. After she left with her newly installed belt she went to the gas station, when she returned to her car, it would not start, Of course Champion was closed by then so my mom went all weekend without a car, On Monday another mechanic looked at the car and deemed it to be her alternator, Champion was notified, at that time my mom was told Im sorry it was a glitch in our machine and it happens My mom was told she will not be refuned, nor will they install her alternator and the call ended, DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR AT CHAMPION AUTOMOTIVE

Troy was great fixed my sons 99 Nissan Altima was told by another shop he had a blown Head they performed the test and everything took it to Champion and found out it was a small hose loose
