I really enjoyed working with Hansel and David. Their approach is totally different from larger dealerships. They never used the Used Car Salesman approach on us. I’ve visited larger dealerships (new & old) where cars are being forced on you. I never felt this to be the case at this location. I appreciate Hansel and David’s honesty & transparency. Hansel at cars and beyond was really helpful. I didn’t have the best credit and everyone else turned me down. Hansel got me approved. Yes down payment was a little higher and payments higher because of credit but if you need a car like I did you do what you have to do. Yes they are very professional when you first go in and showing you the vehicles but they DO NOT make you aware of everything how it really is. ALL their vehicles have rebuilt titles, I was told “it was in a small accident only the rear bumper had to be replaced” but when I asked for the VIN number and looked it up at home that night the vehicle was in a very big accident the whole back part of the vehicle was destroyed. I suggest to ask for the VIN number and look up the information of the car on your own and look for PICTURES of the accident because they only tell you what they want to let you know.

I had previously wrote an okay review about this company but now I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my purchase. They continue to take my comments off their Facebook page because Im sure they dont want people to know the truth about their horrible business practice. I bought a 2014 Nissan Versa a little over a year ago and already I am having transmission problems. I took it to a shop and they say I need a new transmission and it will cost $3000-$5000. For that price I might as well buy a new car but best believe it wont be from these guys. The care is 5 years old with less than 90,000 on it. I keep my maintenance up on the car and I do not drive it rough or park it up a hill. I am so upset I cant even begin to describe my anger. Cars and Beyond said there was one previous owner before me and she just returned the car because she could not keep up with the payments but I would love to speak with her and see what the true story is. I believe these guys new they were selling me a lemon and they took advantage of a young woman purchasing her first car. Shame on them!!!3/23/2020 Update on review.BEWARE!!! AND I DO MEAN BEWARE BEFORE PURCHASHING FROM CARS AND BEYOND IN GREENVILLE NC. I purchased a car from them a little over a year ago. When I asked them how many previous owners there were and why the car was returned Hansel informed me there was one previous owner and she only returned the car because she could not keep up with the payments. Well shortly after my purchase my transmission went out which would have cost me $4500 to repair on a 5 year old car that they said was in no previous accidents. Well upon going to the Nissan dealership to look at options for a new car the sales rep pulled up the CarFax for the car Cars and Beyond sold me and not only did the car have two previous owners but it was in a accident and the insurance company totaled the car. The car did not have a clean title and it was also a salvaged title. I do not appreciate being lied to or taken advantage of being this was my first adult purchase. I would assume they had more integrity and to not lie to me about the history of this car but they were more worried about getting a sale and forcing me to give them a 5 star rating after they knew they sold me a lemon. Do your research before buying anything from this company
