I had a poor service appointment, my original appointment was scheduled the week prior, I moved the service appointment to this past Saturday and received an e mailed confirmation along with a phone call prior confirming the appointment . The service advisor David had no idea the appointment was moved and then stated with attitude, you are going to be here for a while and then asked if I have ever been here before when clearly I had my service done last year and he would squeeze me in, really, after I had an e mail confirmation. Upon picking the car up I was given the wrong keys and even stated that the keys were wrong only to be met again with his attitude. I also told him not have the tech rotate or adjust the air pressure. I just checked the air pressure 6 pounds over on each tire, the placard on the side of the vehicle door states 33 lbs at each tire .
Very poor quality by service dept on warranty service third year in a row Had 20k service on 2019 XC90. Ashley who was service rep was excellent. Following service spouse drove to Char l eston but got 4 tire low pressure alert outside of a Columpia. Tires looked ok. Apparently service department failed to reset computer after airing and rotating tires. She has to take car to Charleston volvo dealer to correct situation. Quality control on Lux GVL Volvo service department is really poor. Wife will not buy a new car from any of their dealerships using the Volvo shared service Dept.
Used to California SERVICE. Here, the concept does NOT exist. Call Service...leave a message. You may as well call E.T. No callback - no interest. I have NEVER seen anything like this place. NEVER. I am looking for an Independent mechanic and I will never step foot in this place again. So glad the Owner is making so much money he can build a tacky palance on Augusta. So much for taste. Hope his contractors are more responsive than his so-called Service Department. Small town...so small town.

Our sales person, Lindsay, went above and beyond....excellent. We felt she would have spent all day with us explaining if we needed or asked for it. Id buy another car from her without a doubt. 4 instead of 5? Buyer beware I didnt feel the financing guy was honest. Buyer beware for sure....check those numbers.
After moving from Charleston, my Volvo XC60 needed its three year service. I made an appointment, arrived early, and the entry to the service area was blocked by two Land Rovers. I waited 20 minutes. Entry was still blocked. No one from service came to my car. So, I left. I sent an e/m to the attention of the general manager and after a week have not gotten any response. I wont have anything else to do with Volvo after my lease ends. My impression of this Volvo dealership is that they would rather work on Land Rovers than on Volvos.

I was stuck in my garage with my 99-year-old dad and a caregiver in the car with a dead battery. Frank Childers at Volvo walked me through getting my battery charged. I’ve never even open the hood much less used jumper cables on this particular car. I must’ve called him five times. He was absolutely, genuinely, I might add, determined to make sure that I got my car charge before he got off the phone. He had all the patience of Job as the saying goes...I salute to Frank As well as Prescilla Walker at The cashier desk who encouraged me to drive on over. They stayed late in service to get a new battery installed. Manager Dean Petersen runs a fantastic team.

We just picked up our new Volvo from Volvo of Greenville and we love it. We had our best car buying experience ever. Lyndsay Taylor was our sales person. She is very knowledgeable on all aspects of the Volvo product line and answered our many questions. It was a pleasure doing business with her and Volvo of Greenville.
Was there for my Volvos three year service. We live in Asheville but drive to Greenville for service. Much better facility and feel more comfortable with the people at this facility compared to our local dealer.
Although the service manager is always very nice, I will no longer take my car there for service. The inspection that they perform is extremely misleading. The report I received said that my car was in immediate need of several services that I had just had completed on my car. That is called a scam, in my opinion. One of the additional suggestions was even $600+ for rear break pads and rotors. After seeing many of the items were not legit, I took my car to be inspected by two other places without saying anything. Both said that the break service was unnecessary at this time, but the cost would have been half the price had it been needed. One service that WAS necessary was quoted as $900+ there. I had it completed elsewhere for $346. Pretty substantial difference. I no longer trust this dealership to be honest about what my car does and doesnt need. Do not trust the inspection report.

It takes 3 hours to get an oil change, they don’t have any loaners or shuttle service that they offer (which would’ve made the whole situation better) and they “hand wash” it, yet the car would’ve gotten cleaner if I drove it through an automatic car wash. It doesn’t even look like it’s been washed. Why make an appointment if it takes 3 hours regardless?

I cannot say enough about Volvo Cars of Greenville. Their customer service is second to none. I didnt even buy the car from them, but they offered to take care of the cleaning and inspections that another dealer didnt do. They apologized to me for the poor customer service that I had received from another dealership even though they had nothing to do with that. Everyone there from the General Manger to the mechanics that fix the car are outstanding. If youre looking to buy a car, please go see them and ask for Micah Zimmer. Like I said, I didnt buy the car from them, but Micah took the time to walk me through the car and explain all of the features. He did not have to do this, he wasnt getting paid to do any of it. His customer service is just that good. They earned a customer for life.
Frank and David, in service, are both excellent to work with. I have never had a bad experience with them. Would rate higher if I could.
I have stopped using this dealership. They are FULL of false advertising in the service department. They advertise alternative transportation and that they wash your car. I never received either. I’m sorry... one time that they didn’t have a loaner they drove me from Greenville to Pickens with the promise of delivering my car to me when it was ready. However, when the car was ready, they wanted to come pick me up from Pickens to drive me almost an hour to Greenville so I could pick my car up and drive almost an hour back. I refused, so they delivered my car. Although I had specifically requested they wash my car, they didn’t. I highly recommend Sherriff Import Services over this sham of a dealership

So iv loved seeing my friend Frank at the service desk yesterday day and today, I came in yesterday to get a light bulb for my 2006 volvo s60 R and was greeted at the counter by a man that has been there for a while and for the sake of lack of customer service I didnt get his name so we are going to call him the bald parts man. Not only after I gave him my cars discription, and the vin number he still sold me the wrong bulb went back to get a the right one and then he sells me a none LED bulb and Im not going back up there to play fetch the light bulb with the bald man since he cannot operate his system correctly to get it right the second time. He needs training and a chill pill!
Lee McClelland could not have been more professional or helpful in my search for an XC90. Very prompt in responding, but was not overly aggressive or pushy. I strongly recommend you call him if you are looking for a Volvo.

My wife and I purchased our first Volvo here tonight and the whole expierience was exceptional. Everyone there was helpful and our salesman Sobhi was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I put a lot of miles on a car every year and trade often. We have never had such a great delivery of a car and the time Sobhi took to spend with us, even thought it was 8:00PM was something we have never expierienced. We often get rushed delivery at that time of night when everyone wants to go home. We Truly got a great car, at a great competitive price, with great customer service.
