GameStop used to be a place you and the kids could get excited about going to. They used to have a huge variety of games. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. The kids get excited about going in ... Then are incredibly disappointed by the lack of games. I hate to say it but... GameStop sux.

Place is very open which is nice compared to some other compact GameStops. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons. Hands down,some of the prettiest liars out there.. I bought over a 100$ worth of games and controllers. Only needed them for 3 weeks. The girls said bring them back and well buy them... This has got to be the best gamestop I have ever visited. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and just downright nice. I like the fact they also will work hard for each individual customer to find what your looking for nearby if they dont have it in stock. If your a gamer that likes to go in a gamestop and look around definitely drop by this one. 💯

The best value GameStop provides is the lower prices on traded in merchandise. Covid-19/Stimulus checks have devastated their stock to the point that they have things on the shelf (boxes) but not the merchandise in store. Best bet at the moment is to order online.

Helpful staff

Employees were knowledgeable on the current and future products. Though their game selection is getting blander and blander im having to resort to older gaming consoles and the games to go with them. Unfortunately gamestop doesnt have what I need for those older systems.

As of 02/07/21 they have very low stock, most likely due to Covid, but still most likely not to have what you are looking for unless its a mainstream release.

Their employees make the difference. Returned an order I made online and the slip that was sent didnt have the info that a receipt would normally have but their staff made the process completely painless! I will definitely continue to go back.

While the store here did not have the figure I was looking for, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and passionate about the products they sold and gamer culture as a whole. I saw several staff members interact with multiple customers and adapt their conversation to each one.It blows my mind that you could find a whole store of employees working in a retail chain that are so upbeat, eager to assist, and knowledgeable about a wide variety of their products. Its almost worth it to come by just for the atmosphere.

I never have any problems finding help at this GameStop. Their customer service is excellent and very knowledgeable. They keep a large stock of video games and niche presents. Great job, guys!

Brian and the whole team are always really patient and truly helpful... my son has a thousand and one questions and they ALWAYS take the time to explain to both him, and to me, whether or not its a good ( & appropriate) choice. Never felt rushed or pressured to spend more than I came prepared to spend... Im truly grateful that I have them as a sounding board as gaming isnt a huge interest for me, but it definitely is for my son. Great service and our first choice for brick and mortar game shopping.

I walked in and was given the greeting of the day and I noticed how clean the place was. It looks like they had plenty of stocking and all the shelves were full. I found what I was looking for and check out was easy.

Nice well organized store with friendly staff. Its in a good location too, right next to Walmart. Convenient to stop by before going to shop at Walmart or the local grocery store.

Very unprofessional, I went in looking for Ron for Cricket Wireless service because of a recommendation, was told he wasnt with the company. Fine and good, however it wasnt professional to call him a little thief, not even knowing the guy, Tyler or Matt I forget which one put the guy on blast like he wasnt what I heard one of the best Cricket salesman for GameStop within the region. Not cool guys, very unprofessional.... Will not be visiting this location anymore

There was no price tags on anything so every time I wanted to know the price I had to ask them except I couldn’t due to them having conversations amongst them self no wonder GameStops going out of business if you want a good friendly and lively store go to play and talk out by out let mall way better trade in offers

I ordered a game online and picked it up in the store. Only took a few minutes and I got a good deal on the game.

Not the best place to resale. Pre-orders and new game sales have good deals on new or pre-orders with special packages.

I used to enjoy going to this GameStop a while back, but then the staff changed over and for some reason so that the attitude and the amount of customer service with it as well. I felt like the staff wasnt very helpful when in need, and I also felt like they were ignoring everything and every guest that would walk in unless they found it relevant to themselves. The phone also was going off the hook constantly and nobody was answering it which is generally what happens when I try to call and ask him questions already. Maybe some improvement and customer service would be a great idea but for now I dont really enjoy even though its a super store

Was very disappointed after buying a Roblox gift card for a present,but upon putting in code it was invalid. Called back with reciept and card within 20mins after the purchase was told once card is scanned that they do not have anything to do with it being activated. Ive come here over the years multiple times and never had a problem,but Clerk wasnt very helpful,if i bought another card that once scanned and didnt work again that they couldnt guarantee it or once again not have anything to do it. You have to deal with Roblox and go thru them. I was upset bcos i said how do i knw if it even was active or not scanned by mistake. These days its easy for a dishonest person to ring u up and give u reciept for a transaction and scam u at same time.. Not very happy about not even being pointed in right direction to ensure gift card was activated correctly. Definitely going back in morning as they open and having someone explain this process and talk to Manager. Not Happy this trip.

My grandsons could spend a couple of hours in this store. They offer the latest new game consoles and games. Friendly and helpful clerks.

Dont waste your time with this place, just buy your games and accessories on Amazon or something else. Heres some advice btw, when you see that youre clearly busy and have a long line you should stop holding up current customers by talking them into a sell or something thats just not interesting.

One of the best GameStops I have ever been to. Games are well organized, with preorders and new games on one section and preowned and older games in another. Merchandise isnt sprawled throughout the store on every wall, but instead is in the middle of the store, where you can also find games on sale. The employees here are also very kind and dont try to shove a preorder or Plus account at you. I am very pleased with this GameStop.👍

Sold me a defective ps3. Which happens. But went to return it and told me i couldnt bexause he didnt have enough funds. I had to return at gulfport.

Liked the general store appearance, felt open and inviting. Lots of game consoles for sale. The store atmosphere was good.

This Game Stop is closest to my house so I shop there frequently. I have not had any bad experiences there yet. Depending on what time of day you get there the line can be long but other than that the customer service is always on point.

I usually spend $1,000+ a year at GameStop. Usually in there at least once a week. However, this GameStop in Gulfport is the worst f****** GameStop I have ever been to. Since moving to Gulfport this year I have only been there 3 times, each with its own unique cringy moments, like listening the the employees sexcapades from the night before while I’m standing at the register, or have another employee keep me waiting for 15 minutes, without telling me why, just to tell me that they had “misplaced” the game I was trying to buy. This company is going under and stores like this are one of the major reasons why.

Bought a used xbox one s from gamestop on 4/27/17 went out 6/29/17 called Connor at the gamestop in Gulfport MS. After he tells me he will not replace this defective xbox one s they sold me at the same time tried to sell me a new power cord not knowing if that would help ......lol...wants me to buy something else...WHAT A JOKE ......WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE....WOW.....SO THEY STOLE MY MONEY .....and I just have take it the way they serve it up to me........called the main office they told to call microsoft....had the defective xbox one s 2 months .....WOW......300.00.....IM SO GLAD MONEY GROWS ON TREES....GOD BLESS CONNOR AND GAMESTOP ...For who ever reads this PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY you deserve better than the i was treated......

This is probably the second best GameStop in my area, the store always looked clean and very organized, the staff seemed very friendly and willing to help. GameStop is a horrible company to work for, I wont ignore that fact, but their workers here seem very passionate about helping people make the right decisions for what they need.Ive never felt like they were twisting my arm to try and make an extra buck, Id have a conversation with them about a game I wanted to preorder or purchase, and theyd make a suggestion of a similar game that I might also enjoy. In almost all cases though, it was a game I already played. Which wasnt a bad thing, it means they were spot on with their suggestions and honestly if I hadnt already owned said game, Id of probably looked into it.As with most my reviews, Id like to say that this store seems very LGBT friendly. Im a transgender woman and every time Ive been to this store the staff have addressed me in a polite manner. I never felt this environment was hostile in any way towards me based on my LGBT status.A side note, and what keeps it from five stars, is that they are located next to a Walmart super center, and share parking with it essentially. Not only is parking horrible in this area 24/7, but this walmart is one of the worst and dirtiest ones in this entire region. It feels extremely unsafe just being in this general area due to the way it looks all run down. Its not the stores fault, but they really should look to moving to a different area of Gulfport.

Every employee takes their time to greet you and help you find your needs. They also tell you if you can get that item somewhere else for a better price.
