First time I came to him he changed my radiator last minute and changed my oil. Today hes changing two of my tires for new ones at a really great price and I will definitely be coming back to him! Ive been trying to find a place near Harrisonburg that I can trust and that can fix my car with quality and fair prices and Barr Auto Services exceeded my expectations and Im just very happy with him and his services! We Bought a shuttle bus to convert to a camper. The bus needed some repairs and possibly some engine work. We need an experienced bus mechanic to give us a repairs estimate to determine what needed done to get the bus road trip ready. Barr Auto was recommended.The mechanic gave us a free estimate and did a through check of all the frame, exhaust system, brakes, suspension and checked the engine. He pulled off the inside engine cover to check the plug wiring and two spark plugs wires were not connected! That explains the poor power and why it was running rough! He reconnected the wires and didnt even charge for the service! He even took pics of the problem areas so when he explained the repair we could see the condition of parts that need replacing.We highly recommend Barr Auto Service for their high quality integrity and excellent customer service.

My husband was having issues while traveling across the country. This shop squeezed him in despite being booked solid on a Saturday and got him running and on the road. My husband said the owner was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and spent the time going over everything. We couldnt be happier with the service.

Barr works for quality and customer service rather than to rip you off like most places. Both the owner and his son are SUPER FRIENDLY. Their rates are BEYOND INCREDIBLE and their HONESTY is key. They were not scared to tell me he could put new fluid in my transmission, bur with out properly going to a dealer and getting a proper vacuum out of the system, it would not be the best result. All of my other work done there was at EXCELLENT QUALITY and AMAZING prices.

Wow, we were so lucky to find this place. Otherwise we would have been stranded away from home. It was Saturday almost noon, our car broke down on the highway (overheating, stiff steering, battery not charging). Exited from highway and stopped at couple of auto care places, they told me the belt was torn. But they were all busy and couldnt do the job until next week. Called a couple other places but all shops were closing. It was Saturday afternoon.... and found this place. These guys were so quick, professional and courteous. The price was very reasonable. The car was fixed while we had lunch and we got back on the road without much delay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The experience at Barr Auto services was great! As a women I am always hesitant about car mechanics, but Barr Auto services takes the time to explain, and provides options to solve your car issues. I have went to Barr Auto services several times to fix my AC, oil leaks and red engine light. I have also had my tires changed/rotated and breaks replaced. The prices are reasonable and the people are honest! I considered Barr Auto Services my go to Mechanics!!
