1st timer and last timer. Location is inconvenient to start with. I come in, and no one is up at the counter. Young lady comes out and just looks. As I observe the menu I decided on a waffle cone, the flavors were bland. Can’t try anything due to “COVID” 06/23/2021. It was 2:00PM and about 40% of the options were already gone. I didn’t take any chances to try a new flavor so I settled for plain chocolate. One scoop is $4 & I found last minute that the waffle cone alone was $1.50. So you end up paying $5.95 for the waffle cone and one scoop.Would rather go to a small hole in the wall or the refresquerias where there are more than 15 flavors, walk out with a medium bowl with two flavors for the same $5.95
Best butter pecan ice cream I’ve ever had!
The cutest place! The walls look like melting Neapolitan ice cream, they have floating cloud lighting and a neon sign to brighten up the place even more. An Instagram moment if you will. I got a scoop of vanilla and marzipan. Ohhhhh my God I never knew how good marzipan ice cream was. I’m so glad I tried it! I’m actually surprised I liked it because I HATE cherries and cherry flavored anything but I guess because it wasn’t overpowering and there was also a hint of an almond taste that’s what made it taste great! If you’re like me and dislike cherry flavored stuff, the marzipan might wow you. Just trust me!!! It was also nice to see one of the employees sanitizing tables and chairs as people were leaving with everything that’s going on right now. Definitely 10/10 and I’ll be getting a whole bucket of that marzipan ice cream next time.🤣🤣🤣
Really good ice cream and good service the only down side for me is that is that they dont handle cash so you can only pay with card or other means besides cash
Delicious ! My son loved his snack. I was sad we couldn’t taste before buying but that’s covida fault. The peanut butter and jelly was my fave.
Parking was easily accessible & we enjoyed our ice cream cones. The ambiance of the parlor was very picture friendly. Cute date spot
One of the worst ice cream cakes I have ever tasted. It had a strong artificial banana flavored ice cream layer at the top that took over the whole cake. It was advertised as a dark chocolate cake so Im not sure why they would ruin the flavor with banana. I cannot believe this was $50. I bought this for my partner’s birthday and she declined to eat it after trying a few bites.
My first time visiting this business. We purchased a scoop of the Maple Pecan and the Brown Sugar...Cookie Dough or Cookies and Cream, I dont remember the name. I think there was only one Cookie something. Either way, they were both good.
Tasty ice cream with lots of fun flavors, friendly staff! Cloud 10 has some of the best ice cream around, my husband and I stopped by after dinner last night and got our ice cream to go. They are not allowing tastings, which is definitely in line with COVID protocols...so if you come in expecting to try every flavor, just know that. However, the staff is super knowledgeable about flavors and recommendations, so just ask them! They’ll be honest about which flavors are a hit. Highly recommend the strawberry with strawberry jam and the coconut sorbet with bits of grilled pineapple, so decadent!
Yesterday afternoon, I ordered two of the “bottle floats” which is where they make you a float from a glass bottle of soda that they had in a fridge behind the counter. So you get the float and you still have half a bottle of soda left so you can drink it later right? Well even tho there were cold bottles in the fridge... she made our floats with warm sodas, not the cold ones in the fridge!!! Why would you make an ice cream float with warm soda??? All it did was melt the ice cream faster and the ice cream never made the soda cold so my float was half cold and half warm and extremely disappointing. I even asked for a cup of ice for the leftover soda and she told me they don’t even have ice. So if you don’t have ice, why wouldn’t you give me a cold soda??? I should have said something at the time and asked for new floats with cold sodas but I kept my mouth shut because I also work in customer service and I didn’t want to be “that lady” .... but it was really disappointing, the warm soda made the float all warm and the ice cream melted too fast and it was not not good. The girl who helped us was very nice, but it really doesn’t take much common sense to figure out that when pouring a beverage over ice cream, you should make sure that beverage is cold and don’t skimp out on something like that just because you don’t want to have to restock the refrigerator.
The ice cream was fantastic! The creamery was nice inside, they even had ice cream themed walls! An often visit is needed during our trip.
Bad experience. Cant try samples so yot stuck with a bad flavor, tiny scoops, and not tasty ice cream. I would avoid
No, the toasted rice does not taste like rice crispy treats or rice pudding. It’s tastes like the burp after you eat a McDonald’s ice cream cone.... it is delicious!
No cash accepted. Only cards. They have some “different” flavors but say they can’t do samples because of covid. I went with my favorite Blue Bell flavor, Mint Chocolate Chip, and was underwhelmed.Daughter ordered a waffle cone and as she took it from the employee the cone cracked into pieces with some falling on the counter. I asked for help and the just stood there not knowing what to do.I asked for a cup, which the gave us. They still charged extra for a cone.
I love the remodeled house w old porch and the outdoor seating...conveniently located right off the walking trail. I tried two of the gelatos and they were tasty. Their ice cream selection is fairly exotic and perhaps not what some folks are looking for...but u can find some traditional treats w a new twist. They have a grab n go case if u r looking to just grab a pint and run. There are multiple lots to park n and walk here if u hunt around.
I don’t usually leave reviews but I was extremely disappointed in the lady that was working today, May 15th. I walked in and didn’t have a mask so the lady asked me to put mine on so I did. Me and my girlfriend were eating our ice cream and noticed another couple waking in, one who had a mask on and another who didn’t. I wanted to see if she would ask the lady who didn’t have a mask on to put one on but she didn’t even mention it. Our table is right next door to the register where you order so I can hear everything. The employee and lady who walked in were both African American, I am a Hispanic male and was curious if that’s why she asked me but not the other customer. I love eating ice cream here after my gf and I eat JINYA but now I won’t return.
This ice cream shop was different. They didn’t have regular chocolate but had dark chocolate. No cookies and cream, no sprinkles and no regular vanilla but vanilla bean. The vanilla bean lacked in flavor and they tried to mask it with the chocolate syrup but it didn’t help. It was ok but I will definitely stick to my main stream ice cream. Give it a try you might like it but it’s a no for me. Also the outside scenery is very misleading.
Yummy ice cream. Downfall they did not accept cash. Made it inconvenient to pay for an order.
Great ice cream and atmosphere. There were so many options! I went with toasted rice and it was such a unique flavor. Luis was so kind!
Delicious ice cream made by hand. The flavors are interesting. Things like Coconut milk sorbet with roasted pineapple, nutella with marshmallows, earl grey tea with lemon. Highly recommend treating yourself to a cone. You will not be disappointed.
Im a out of the ordinary type of guy, so mainstream doesnt hack it for me. I loved the variety and natural ingredients. Every time I go they are ever so nice.
Horrible and limited flavor choices small amount for such outrageous prices lady was also rude when we told her we didnt want anything else but the one desert. Never again will I go there nor will I recommend anyone to them. Id rather just go to braums, sonic or dairy queen.
Love this location, it’s in the middle of the heights, and it’s so cute and cozy. The flavors are a bit odd, but wow, they’re worth trying. There is frequently a line out the door, but dont worry as the line moves quickly most of the time and is worth the wait; also they just opened so it seems they’re a bit short staffed so i expected to wait anyway....I love sitting out front on the cute yellow picnic tables and people watching and playing with peoples dogs. The only drawback is it is kind of expensive. All in all I Cant wait to come back.
High price but not worth it. Had fudge brownie sundae but the brownie pieces were very hard and dry and the worst brownie I have ever tested
First time customer and I must say sooooo awesome....the manager was unbelievably sweet and had a great personality...the ambiance was so modern and comfy and the ice cream was the best. I loved that the ice cream flavors were non traditional and they had a great variety....Cloud 10 gets a 10 star from me.
Went here after dinner last night. We parked in the garage upstairs. To get down to the creamery was very nasty, it smelled like pee there was ash-buds and cigarettes all over the elevator, and there was towels on the floor where you can see homeless people slept and beer bottles. However I tried to look past that, when we got to the creamery they were very low stock on most of the ice cream. There was no one at the front to greet us until after a few minutes & the chocolate ice cream was running very low so the person basically had to put their whole arm into the bucket to scoop some out 🤢We couldn’t eat inside so it was uncomfortable and just had to just with out ice cream back though the whole nasty elevator to eat the ice cream on our way home. I was so disappointed.
My favorite icecream in houston. Try the Brown sugar cookies and cream
Very overrated, Was not worth the money I spent. There wasnt much variety of ice cream. I would not come here again.
First time there and I will for sure be back!
Good ice cream flavors and the price is decent.
About 20 flavors, reasonably priced for the two scoops in a cup. The ice cream itself is very delicious, the flavors are good quality. Unlimited samples. Has a great texture, very smooth, of the kind that sticks to the spoon, really amazing! The brown sugar cookies and cream is a safe bet, almost guaranteed to please. Dried rose is hit or miss (miss for me, another in the group loved it). Fresh mint chocolate chip is VERY refreshing. No cash, only card. They make their own waffle cones, I thought that was cool. Would recommend and come back to try more flavors.
Not my favorite but it just okay. Great staff
Maybe its a preference thing. But both my and my wife. Disliked the ice cream we got. Sugar cookie tasted very salty actually
Cinnamon banana ice cream. That’s all I have to say. So good! But they do have several other flavors that are just as good and the shop is clean and smells like waffles!
Overpriced ice cream and terrible flavors.
Awesome Ice Cream and stellar service. Due to Covid, they werent able to give out samples, but the employees were able to describe the flavors very well.
They have so many ice cream selection. We had their cookie & cream and it was delicious 😋
I loved this place I go 3 to 4 times a week, unfortunately the owner or manager discriminate against the people that can’t wear mask because of health conditions .I am one of them . Very sad
If you’re looking for over priced ice cream with poor flavoring, this is your place! Customer service was poor, and $3.79 for this cup? I was waiting for some one to pop out and say I was on a game show. Hopefully this place closes soon and makes room for something of value in such a beautiful area.
No good variety of ice cream no good flavors and the worker was RUDE
Cloud 10 Creamery is a perfect stop for that 80 degree, sunny weather day where you want to have a nice cold treat. They have different flavors from your average grocery store ice cream and I think that’s what helps set them apart, plus the cute ambiance. I tried the lemon &mint sorbet and let me tell you it was a shockingly subtle mix between the right amount of sweet and tart, something fresh! We will definitely be back :)
Ice cream was great. Seemed super worried about covid and people being 6ft apart but bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a week .
Good Ice Cream. But pricey!
Prices are same as any other typical competitive ice cream shop, many interesting flavors, service was okay as they only had one lady serving on a late Friday night, not enough seating inside. They have delicious vegan sorbet options. Try the coconut milk with cherries and sour apple. I love the variety of flavors they offer. THEY DONT TAKE CASH. CARD ONLY
The ice cream is pretty good. It has that kind of texture where its soft almost as if it is partially melted. I ordered the Gingersnap single scoop and it tastes awesome. The two dudes in the front were super friendly and just gave it an overall relaxed vibe.
This is a cute little ice cream place with very creative flavors. Definitely go here if youre looking for something different - do not expect the standard flavors. My daughter loves strawberry ice cream but was happy when she decided on mango sorbet. Even their chocolate option of a dark chocolate (its very good), and they dont have vanilla. But, marzipan ice cream? They got you covered there. The space is in one of the Heights cute little old houses, and there is plenty save inside to enjoy your order, plus picnic benches out front. The ramp is around the back, which is a little strange but they share the ramp with their neighbors immediately next to them. A bigger issue is that the back door sticks really bad. So theyre technically wheelchair/stroller accessible, but not wheelchair/stroller friendly. The prices seem a bit high compared to the local ice cream competition, but youre also getting something unique. My family enjoyed it and will probably be coming back, but it wont be our go-to ice cream spot.
Very impressed! By luck we went in to Cloud 10 because we were looking for lunch. Came back two hours later. Loved the Ginger Snap and the Butter Pecan Maple
Love love love this place. Came in on Saturday night, there was a long line but I figured if these people were waiting it must be good. I’m glad I stuck around. I asked the young lady working what the best sundae I could get was and she told me they’re known for their banana splits so I went with that. Took them about 5/10 minutes to make but like I said, it was busy so I didn’t mind. I’m glad I waited, the banana split was AMAZING. They use a house made jam and I don’t know what is in it, but it was awesome. I’ll definitely be coming back. Great workers, great ice cream, great location, and great store.
This is one of their new locations. I fell in love with Cloud 10 when they first opened in Rice Village years ago. This one is located convenietly next to Gen, so after a delicious dinner, save some room for dessert! For us, we had stuffed our serves, but still was craving their toasted rice, so we got a pint to go!Its still probably one of my favorite flavors in all of Houston.
Ice cream and service was great. No cash card only and no samples but overall would recommend this place.
They had these images on Google of some other location with picnic tables on a patio. This was the only reason we choose this location. When we arrived out was some lease space in a mixed use retail building. No patio! No picnic tables! No cool vintage building. Waste of my time with kids in the car waiting for ice cream!
This is a great little place for a sweet treat in Midtown. Easy to get to with a free....FREE parking structure attached. The ice creams are different....unique and tasty:) They are happy to let you try as much as you like offers suggestion or 2. Get by the scoop in a cup or a cone....have a sunday or an ice cream sandwich. They have a very clean and cozy atmosphere with plenty of indoor seating.
They are the best! They aren’t your typical ice cream shop, they have a wide variety of different combinations that will blow your socks off! The staff is also super sweet and will let you sample any flavors! This was our first visit but definitely won’t be our last!
I like goat cheese ice cream here
Unfortunately frustrating experience several times. Called to place an order - was told they didn’t have any toppings for sundaes. Called at another time - was told they would only take orders through Uber Eats. When Uber Eats canceled one of our items for a flavor no longer available, but not the other, we called to ask why: apparently both of our items actually did not have the flavors we requested available. Cloud 10 said they could update one of our items, but that we would have to place an entirely separate Uber Eats order for the second item that Uber Eats had canceled effectively asking us to overpay twice for what we had requested originally...ThEn said “Well we have some people in the store so we’ll get to that after them.” 😳...we understand that these things happen, but we would definitely like to see the user’s delivery experience cleaned up. We are not metaphorically on Cloud 10 at this time.
The flavors were a little bland otherwise the ice cream was very good. Maybe my taste buds were just a little off.
Service is always awesome even when they have a full house. the bill was decent for the quality.
This is a cute place to get your ice cream fix. They had a good variety of flavors and treats. Miguel was awesome and I loved the atmosphere. The mango sorbet was so good I had to get the pint!! Definitely will be returning!
It’s called a creamery. It’s listed as an ice cream place. It has pictures of ice cream on the door outside. They don’t sell ice cream. Not any. They don’t have one ice cream in the building. Not a popsicle, not a slushy, not a scoop of vanilla, nothing. Honestly that’s super suspicious and likely a front.
Nice flavors of ice cream
Many flavors, not just chocolate and vanilla like in supermarkets. And so different than ordinary ice cream. After this i only want self made ice cream.
Nice staff
They do not accept cash at this location, only card or apple/google pay. The ice cream was average, marble slab is a bit better, and is around the same cost as competitors. The shop itself is cute and was clean, but there was no music or background noise so it made the environment feel off...you could hear spoons scraping against the paper cups. There was no appeal to stay there.
The staff were pretty friendly and fast. It was really neat and clean! The prices are like any other creamery but they had unique flavors. My favorite was the “Nutella with marshmallows”! I would definitely come back again.
Very expensive with strange flavor selections
Nice place for ice cream in midtown. Parking can be a hassle late night. The menu is limited but the sundaes are yummy. We tried the banana spit and chocolate fudge and they both the spot. Again, not a vast variety of flavors but most of them were good.
Very tasty ice cream
You have an employee coughing all over the ice creams. She clearly is sick. She has no face mask on and while she was serving the ice cream she coughed three times without covering her mouth. If indeed your cameras work, please check video for April 19th @ 3:10pm.
This place has the best ice cream in town! Everything is made from scratch and each flavor has its own recipe that takes three days to make. No preservatives! No artificial flavors! This is the real deal of ice cream! And don’t forget those cones! 😍😋
This was our first time trying this place and the ice cream flavors were definitely unique. My favorite ones were the earl grey lemon, lavender & milk chocolate, and the PB & J. We will definitely come back again.
Great ice cream and awesome service!
I love creamery 10. The one in the heights has been my fav until this one showed up in midtown. The one in midtown is just a hair better for one reason: the guy behind the counter will throw your ice cream ball high up in the air then catch it with the cup before handing it to you. It make the ice cream taste just a hair more special. Also when the ice cream doesn’t make it to the cup, you wonder “does the 3sec rule apply?!”Happy eating.
Nice customer service. Unique flavors some hits coconut cherry, some misses sesame seed oil. But you can try before you buy and I recommend doing so.
2nd location Ive visited, and wonderful, friendly, and personable staff at both added to the delicious experience. That goat milk ice cream IS TO DIE FOR! Theyre very friendly with your asking for samples. Great ice cream and great service!
