They had a good selection of various gelato flavors. Enjoyed my order of salted caramel pecans with two scoops. The servings are a decent size even for just one scoop. They also have different toppings you can like gummy bears, nuts and more.

La Argentina is as adorable as it is delicious. I had “Daniel’s Chocolate” as well as “Turkish Coffee” flavored gelato and they were amazingly creamy and flavorful. The wonderful ladies serving were sweet and very accommodating. Definitely deserves the 5 stars.

Cute little place. Their decorations are so cute and inviting and their pastries options look all delicious! Enjoyed the traditional good old-way of drinking a chai late in a porcelain cup the slow way. They also have good vegetarian options for empanadas (patties): Onion & Cheese and Spinach & Ricotta.

I did not attend LA Argentina. I went to see Dr. Spencer of St Lukes hospital care with same address 6363 San Felipe. I have tried for three days to get my correct diabetes test strips with no succes. They sent the wrong strips to pharmacy. I went to st Lukes again today. The medical assistant assured me the correct prescription would there in one hour. Four hours later nothing! I need to test my sugar!

Very delicious gelato: Creamy and full of natural flavor. The chocolate is rich and the coconut-passion fruit is exotic. They rotate the flavors so you always find something you like or try something new like the refreshing lemon-basil combination. This was our first time, but for sure not the last. We have to come back to taste the hot chocolate, the coffee and the little pastries.

Amazing desserts. Loved the Afogato and ice-creams (I had Hazelnut and Pistachio ice cream with a chocolate brownie). The coffee was very good too. Excellent vibe.

Their gelato is the real deal - picked up a pint of banana split and Biscoff cream over the weekend. Although they dont have nutrition facts printed on these pints, they do for the pints they sell at Central Market and those confirm that these are lower in fat and calories than ice cream. If you look at so called gelato from other brands at the grocery store, one would wonder if those other brands are truly gelato. I would put La Argentina up there with Sweet Cup for the best gelato in Houston.

This place was an amazing find. Delicious ingredients and flavors. The gelato was amazing. Loved the cookies and other offerings. Nice and clean with a friendly atmosphere. The waitstaff is super nice and friendly.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for the first time and plan to come again when in the area. The Dulce de Leche was delicious. The double espresso macchiato was also delicious.

Make no mistake, this is the only authentic gelato shop in the area. This is true Italian gelato. No artificial colors or flavors, not to sweet, just natural flavors. The texture is perfect as well - very light and creamy. If you want to try REAL gelato in Houston - this is the place. The super dulce de leche is AMAZING!

If I could, I would give 10 stars because this is absolutely the best gelato/ice cream shop by far! We have been coming to try new flavors every week or even a few times a week and so far everything that we tried was delicious! The quality is consistent throughout all of the flavors but Stracciatella and Pistachio are a must-try!

Yum yum and yum! The lady was kind enough to let us sample the ice cream flavours and im so glad! Every flavour was delish. Chocolate lovers, go for the signature chocolate they make. You have to be really looking for the place to make it there 😄 Once you get there the ice cream is a great surprise and empanadas hit the spot. My toddler had the beef empanada and my MIL and I enjoyed the spinach and chicken amongst other sweets.

My friend and I talked about trying La Argentina for weeks and finally made it the “Galleria” location this week! We originally went just to try the gelato, but once we looked around the café we decided to order both gelato and some empanadas. We paid for our items and sat down inside the café to wait for the young lady to finish warming the empanadas. She brought them to our table, asked if we needed anything else, and went back behind the counter. My friend and I visited for 30 minutes or so and ate our food/gelato. When we began collecting our things to get up and leave the café we were both very startled when the employee (same young lady – there was only one person working from what we noticed) behind the counter started yelling at us (yes, yelling – not speaking loudly). She yelled, several times, at us accusing us of trying “not to pay for our Perrier,” which shocked us both considering we brought the Perrier to the counter when checking out, and the employee also must’ve seen it at our table when she came to drop off our food. There were several patrons in the café when this incident occurred and it was extremely embarrassing to be glared at by these people as we tried to understand why this employee was being so aggressive. My friend ran to the counter and handed the employee cash for the Perrier, and we walked out of the café completely humiliated by this incident. So much that we spent time sitting in the car to collect ourselves because we were both totally taken aback by what happened and extremely upset. There are a few factors here that do not make sense to me: first, the water is $2-3 in cost so I am not sure why it’s worth yelling across the café and embarrassing patrons while also alarming the other patrons in the café and lessening their own experiences in that process; second, the employee had several opportunities to ensure we paid for the water before we left including the 2-3 visits she made to our table to bring silverware and food to us; third, it seems to me we were being tested as if we intentionally planned to leave without paying for the water. I say this because cannot think of another reason why the employee waited until that moment in time to confront (yes, confront – not ask) us about our intent to pay for the product. This is such a bummer considering the gelato and empanadas were great. You’ve definitely lost our word of mouth endorsement to our friends, colleagues and neighbors along with our own business. And, that’s a shame in the current small business environment. Treat people better. This time in the world should be spent supporting each other; just like we attempted to support your small business rather than commercialized cafes. It should not be spent accusing each other. Do better. Thanks.

The best Argentine empanadas and the best gelato.

The owner/ Gelato maker was nothing but kind, warm and generous. The gelato was a piece of heaven. We tried almost all the flavors and ended up getting Strawberries, pistachio, lemon and basil, and rose ginger. Will definitely come back!

EXTREMELY poor customer service. They will try to upcharge you for every product - specifically trying to charge for largest size when you ordered the smallest one, and even though you tell them so they are reluctant (nice try trying to steal your way to success). It may have worked elsewhere, but not here.

Finally went back to this place after going in winter when it was closed last year. It is amazing. The gelato is the real deal and I can’t describe how much I enjoyed it today. They are closed Sundays. They have fall/winter hours that google needs to update.

While gelato is not normally my thing, my husband loves it so we decided to check this place out. It was a pleasant surprise! Definitely the best gelato we have had in Houston. We both got smalls, but the portions were huge! In fact, half way through my cup I told my husband this is too much! (which is not something I normally say about desserts). I got the Daniels Chocolate and Nocciola, and he got Daniels Chocolate and Salted Pistachio. All the flavors were super creamy and the chocolate was really rich. The customer service was amazing, too. We will be making more stops here!

Oh my gosh Keto cookies and cupcakes. Came with my wife so she could grab some gelato. I over heard a a lady mention keto cookies so I tried a pack. 1 net carb a cookie.. it was amazing. I will have to test to see how they affect keto levels and blood glucose but they were delicious and service was sooooo nice.

Try as we might, we have never been able to visit this place because it is always closed when we go. We noticed the schedule today: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Certainly this is only someones hobby because they would have a full house if they were open later in the day and on the weekends seeing as summer down here lasts six months and they are at a high traffic location.Interestingly the review rating it as the beat gelato in town is from the business itself.

One of the few Argentinian ice cream places in the city. They are still new therefore don’t have all their flavors available every day. We weren’t able to get the Sambayon, which is my parent’s favorite flavor, but their selection was still good.Argentinian ice cream, like gelato, is much more creamy and dense than American ice cream. They got that consistency right, it was like being transported to Buenos Aires.Will definitely be coming back.

This place is great! They are hidden away, and I have been driving past the place for six months until my wife noticed them. There were a couple gelato places in the neighborhood that went out of business, so I pretty much gave up on finding great gelato until my next trip to Italy.I tried the almond and fig flavours. They were great! Every bit as good as the gelato in Italia,Try this place. If you love gelato, youll love this place.
