Creamy, tasty ice cream treats! My ice cream was fresh and smooth, without the overpowering taste found in lesser scoops. You wouldn’t think buttered pecan could be subtle, but the lightness made me question the fat in ice cream. I want the fat, but this was good. The rocky road was full of almonds and fresh marshmallows. Equally smooth. Equally tasty.The employee was so patient and willing to answer my questions cheerfully. This is the way customers should be treated!

I got the fruit cocktail! It was FRESH and delicious. Plenty of fruit (jicama, watermelon, pineapple, mango, and cucumber) cut into spears. It was fresh not like it was sitting out or old fruit. The tajin and chamoy and lime were the perfect amount! Delicious!The cajeta and tequila ice cream were delicious! I LOVE that they have a variety of the traditional antojitos and snacks, ice cream, paletas, corn, fruit, etc. Everything is priced reasonably and they give you a good portion!

Came to check this place out after a day of big eating and the Mangonada did not disappoint. Tarasscos has a wide variety of desserts and snacks, give them a try!

I was looking for a place to get ice cream and this place hit the spot. Their prices seems reasonable with the size of their servings. It’s also on Westheimer so it’s easy to spot, they have many flavors which I can’t wait to try out. I ordered the mango flavored ice cream and it was amazing. The place has its own unique theme which I find cute. I would recommend this place to people who crave some snacks.

Ice cream were creamy, flavourful and the beat thing not overly sweet, from a pure flavor and price perspective really good product... The place is small so dont expect a fine dine type of place.

Great variety and awesome quality! Got a delicious elote in a cup and some really interesting authentic popsicle flavors (aguacate, mamey, nances, zapote, guanabana, and chongos) on top of the standard fruit flavors. Will be coming back again :)

They are so authentic and fresh! I always get the white corn Elote which are also known as Esquites. So good!

Had the churro a la mode. Well, I had half a churro a la mode. I couldnt finish! It was sooo good though. You get so much more than the chain ice cream shops for much cheaper too! One scoop to tarascos is at least a three scoop cone at marble slab. If youre in the area and want dessert, this is the place to go!

Amazing staff and delicious ice cream

This review is not about the ice cream its about the Covid Sanitary prevention in this place. The guy that was helping was not wearing his mask properly and was continually was touching his nose under his mask and his face then touching the popsicles we were trying to buy. And this was right in front of us. Can only imagine how seriously this is taken when customers arent there. Unfortunate as this used to be a place we really liked but they gotta step up their hygiene!

We love coming here, their ice cream and other treats are so delicious! The only thing I would recommend is for them to revisit their pricing for their fruit cocktail cup. We asked for only cucumber with chili and lime juice, and they charged us $8.00 on the large cup (approx 12 oz cup). Its so expensive for cucumber... you can go to other local spots and get that for way less. Other than that, we really enjoy this place.

Atlast found a good ice cream parlor nearby. Loads of flavors and very nominal pricing. The staff was indeed very friendly. The place was very active even during closing hours.

I always come here for fruit cocktails... I really love the fruit cocktails but unfortunately today I went there but the fruits are not fresh.. especially watermelon is really smelly. I still give 5 stars because this is only first time I got disappointed with my order but please next time make sure about the fruit quality. Today I can’t eat my fruit cocktails because of the watermelon, the whole thing is smelly

So this was my first time going and it was seriously an amazing experience! I found this place spur of the moment on Google. They were the only ice cream shop open during this time, 8:30pm COVID phase. The person working greeted me right away and was EXTREMELY friendly! Welcomed me right in, she was very personable. I got the brownie sundae a la mode. You get SO MUCH! 2 people can share this. Ice cream here is a little pricey but the establishment is very professional and VERY sanitary! Will be coming back and bringing friends!

Hidden gem for dessert treats. I almost don’t want to give them a review so that it stays a hidden gem. Some of the best ice cream I’ve had and the fam loves the paletas (popsicles). You can taste the quality and fresh real ingredients.

Stopped in about 9:30 on a Friday night. Tarascos was hopping with business. They have a large variety of ice cream flavors and ice pops and other ice cream favors. I ordered a scoop of pistachio ice cream. It was fresh and creamy! Customer service was fast and friendly. Tarascos uses a customer relationship management marketing strategy of punch cards benefiting a future purchase. Seems like a fun place to bring the family for a sweet treat.

I love coconut and coconut ice cream. If I can ever find it in an American ice cream store, it doesn’t scream coconut. Mexican/Latino ice cream stores know how to do it right with intense flavors, not only with coconut, but fruits and other flavors. Tarascos Ice Cream gets it right. Yes, they do speak English, but you will mostly find Latinos there, as they know great ice cream.

Yes its just ice cream and popsicles but OMG this place is INCREDIBLE! Definitely worth a visit again soon!!! I had the spicy pineapple popsicle and it was LOADED with pineapple. Kids had ice cream and both really enjoyed theirs. Do your pallet a favor and check them out ASAP!

It’s a perfect way to beat the heat.After that we wanted to try out other ice creams so tried Tres Leches and Nutella. The flavours were so real and natural.
