90 K Scheduled Tune Up - 2018 GMC Sierra DenaliBilly & his team of pros flushed & changed fluids in both differentials, the transaxle, coolant, oil & brake system in my truck. They also installed new plugs & wires and changed a leaking air conditioning condenser. The first condenser did not seal properly, so the team came in early the next morning to get me on the road before my first appointment. I put many miles (90K in 3.5 yrs) on this truck for both work & pleasure.Now my truck is light on its feet & responsive like its new again! The AC is blowing cold just in time for our upcoming 95 degree/ 95% humid summer heat. Feels like changing all the fluids, plugs & wires restored horsepower!! If youre one who doubts needing to have all the fluids changed in your vehicle, I recommend getting it done. The results are worth it!At the dealership, I felt like a number in a production line. Had a front wheel bearing go out while leaving a job in Humble, pulled into the first place I found. Josh was very helpful. Had it diagnosed and the mechanic replaced both front bearings in a couple of hours and I was on my way. If I keep the van I will make the 20 mile trip to have other repairs made. I really appreciate them getting the work done right away as I had very little chance of making it too much further

A serious mistake trusting Billy with our car. Brought my car in to have the power seat repaired. Instead of admitting that he couldnt do it, he kept pushing us aside, saying next week, it will be done by Tuesday, oh Im just waiting on the parts, and has never offered a refund despite 3 months passing and the problem is still not fixed!

The place is clean and well placed. Being that its right on 1960 is a huge plus for me. When I took my car in the first time I was having reduced engine power because of an idle control thing. Costly part right? Welp it was just a broke wire on the thing. Cheap fix. Later when I had a different problem they explained like I never worked on a car. No jargon just simple analogies. easy for me to understand. They also vacuumed out my car. Prolly the first time its happened since I owned it.Great service, great location, great folks. Took my 2011 equinox to 8a catalytic converter put on 12/30/19 & from the date until now Im still having catalytic converter issues. I have taken my car so many times for the same issue the catalytic converter and now my exhaust manifold is cracked after they just fixed a crack that was on the catalytic converter . Billy I really think if you didnt know what you were doing with my car after the 3rd time of you attempting to fix it you should have given us our$ 937.53 for a catalytic converter thats still given me problems. I tried to be patient but honestly your mechanic messed up my car by not knowing which one to change. PEOPLE NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR THEIR!!!!

I took my car for an inspection during my lunch break. It ended up taking a little longer than expected and they generously offered to give me a ride back to work. What really blew me away was the fact that they returned the car back to my office once they were done! I would 100% recommend CMC and their great customer service!

They did my wheel alignment on my 2015 BMW 528i and the alignment on my wife Chevrolet Equinox. In a timely fashion their customer service was outstanding very friendly very helpful and they drop me off at my house and when the work was done they came and pick me up with no additional charge. I can honestly say I got my moneys worth and then some. If you live nearby this is a shot you will want to bring your vehicle to and have peace of mind that the service will be performed by professionals and they will get the job done.P.S. they are good at communicating with on the price that they quote you goes up or down because of a problem that they found while working on your vehicle.

I brought my Pathfinder to CMC because the heater had stopped working. Billy and Josh the service advisors were very helpful. You can tell they love their jobs. Josh even gave me a ride to the rental place, my Pathfinder had to spend the night in the shop. Billy explained everything they were going to be doing to get the Pathfinder’s heater working again. It’s been two weeks since they fixed and it is fixed. The heater is working great thanks to the guys at CMC.

I drove my car in to this place in July. Just needed the timing chain replaced and the transmission was slipping a little when going into 4th gear, but it ran. My car was at this incompetent place for 3 months! During this time they only managed to change the timing chain and fry my computer. Part of it was due to my warranty company, but it was also do to their complete ineptitude. They had to take my dash apart and the rubber door trim to get the computer out. Ok, no problem. However nothing was put back correctly. We had to tell them that they put them to trim back on wrong and then Billy proceeded to argue with us about it until my husband had to go to the car and show him. My warranty company wasn’t going to cover the whole cost of the transmission, and I could have paid them difference, but I didn’t want my car there any longer. My car is in worse shape now than when I took out in. It runs rough & cuts off. I recommend staying away from this place.

On 9.23.2019, i dropped my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder for a simple oil change. My work is close by so I just walked by. Few hours later I went and picked up my vehicle. I regularly check all my vehicles and motorcycles and my inspection is detailed and deep with all notes in each file. CMC Auto claimed that they used Pronto oil filter. During my casual check, within 200 miles, i noticed that the dipstick has dirty oil. I also noticed that the ride after 2000 miles was getting rough and the oil was almost black. Finally I decided to take matters in my hands, which I normally do even if I am stationed away from home. There is a small window to access the oil filter on Pathfindres and Xterras on the bottom shield w two 10 MM bolts holding it in place. You remove that window and you can easily unscrew the old filter out and install the new filter in. Guess what I found....i found Fram TG 7317....Now as I mentioned earlier, CMC Auto even stated on their receipt that they used Pronto oil filter. My finding is genuine and it reflects the oil filter that I installed on 2.24.2019 during that oil change. What this tells me is that CMC Auto lied to me in person When I asked because I religiously write down every detail. This is why my oil git dirty in 200 miles and from that point onward it steadily deteriorated and thickened due to sludge from the old Fran TG 7317 from 2.24 2019 that they were supposed to remove but DID NOT. I want them to own the damage this may have caused on my vehicle and it is unknown as to what type of the damage that would be. Money is not the issue but a BLATANT LIE like this is unacceptable. I am going to upload the pics that I took when I found out what these bozos have done to my vehicle. I will go some day to confront them, God willing.

I had a battery and electrical system problem with my 2010 VW Jetta. CMC was able to diagnose the problem and make needed repairs quickly. Im scheduled to bring my 2007 CRV in later today for troubleshooting on a hard-starting problem and tire pressure monitoring issue.

I had many things wrong with my car at the same time. They had fair pricing and were very courteous. They took the time to explain to me all my options and even fixed things that another shop had messed up on my car. I would recommend them to anyone and will be a repeat customer if I have issues in the future.

I prefer honesty over service. If you cannot fix it or have no clue please say so.I was told my car was ready and when I arrived, it would not start. I made the mistake of telling my 2nd job I was able to come in that day and once I got to my car it would not start again. Because of this I got fired for not showing up. A week and a half later it was still sitting in the same spot. I ended up getting my car towed to another mechanic and found out that they misdiagnosed the issue and damaged the fuel rail

I took all of my company vehicles to CMC and my personal vehicles as well. I never worried about them doing unecessary repairs. They do honest work at a fair price. I recommend them without reservation.

CMC Auto Care doesnt even deserve 1 star for their service. I took in my mazda 3 on Sept 16 to have the check engine light looked at and to have my deteriorating fuel milage examined. I was told these issues were examined and taken care of. $600 later and I am still having the same issues. The engine light was back on the next day, no difference in my fuel milage, and the car started shaking. I took it back and was told that if I really want to alter my fuel milage that they need to change the spark plugs and I was quoted around $150 for that. My tires were rotated without my consent or knowledge, which caused the shake and after reexamining the engine light. I was told that the air flow was too lean (which I already knew, because I did my homework) and that they would replace the sensors for $900. When I mentioned that I had just brought the car in and they claimed to have resolved the engine light issue, they stated that since this was a different reason for the light coming on, (it wasnt the engine has been lean for more than a year, I have had 4 other mechanics run diagnostics on it) that they are not responsible to resolve it. I will never be coming back here, I have wasted almost 4 weeks of my time and $600 for absolutely nothing except inconvenience and extremely slow and ineffective service with no resolution. Every issue they claimed was fixed has continued to be a problem. CMC if you are going to charge people then you need to make sure that your service is up to their satisfaction, unfortunately you all are not following that philosophy.

I have been a customer of CMCs going on 5 years now. There is not a bad thing I could possibly say about their service and expertise. They dont just treat you like another number in the books, its a family owned business with a family feel to their service. I could write 100 ways that theyve gone above and beyond for me but let me just say that there is not another shop in our area that I would recommend over them.

I take my car to Billy for every thing from oil changes to the most recent thing such as replacing my radiator. He always gurantees his work and offers a 3yr or 36,000 mile on all the work done in his shop. He has even gone as far as having someone drop my family off at the airport and keeping my car while it needed work done on it when we were out of town. The customer service they offer is beyond that of any mechanic shop I have ever dealt with.I recently had to replace my catalytic converter at another mechanic shop in Humble not of my choosing because the dealership were I purchased my car from was paying for the repairs and I was highly disappointed. They did not offer the same customer service as Billy at CMC nor the warranty and friendlyness that CMC offers.Billy and his staff always go above and beyond to make sure that I am completly satisfied with the work they have performed. When someone totalled my car a few months back, I was able to call Billy right before CMC was closing and he stayed after hours until the Police released my car and the tow truck delivered it to his shop.Needless to say, I have never had any issues with Billy/CMC Auto Care. I will always recommend them to my friends, family and anyone needing mechanic work.
