They were extremely busy and I didnt have an appointment but they met me as I pulled in and had me checked in a couple minutes later. Told me my wait would be about an hour but had me out of there 15 minutes early. Probably the quickest and best run Discount Tire Ive been to. Everyone was friendly, professional, and fast. Even explained to me exactly what was done and why my previously fixed hole was not done properly. Great experience.

I’ve been purchasing my tires from Discount Tires for several years now, so I have had to visit many different locations over the years. The Atascocita, TX location is by far the best the I have ever dealt with. They were quick, thorough, and provided great customer service. I highly recommend this location.

I have compared prices for tires on my particular vehicles between many places. Discount tire definitely has competitive prices. Their policy of fixing tires for you without charge in hopes that you will come back to them later is amazing. They provide really quick service, so Ill be going back.

Love this Discount Tire in Atascocita (West Lake Houston Pkwy and FM 1960). Brought my car in with a slow leak in one of my tires. They took my info, told me the time table was about an hour wait. Got me in and out in 25 minutes! Awesome! They are well staffed and very efficient! Got the nail out, patched my tire, and sent me on my way...all free! They do it right here!

Oh my goodness. I just left this location and this is the best discount tire experience I have ever had. I got here on a Thursday morning right when they opened. I didnt have an appointment, but the employee got me in and out in 15 minutes! I got the pleasure of watching them work, and this crew is amazing. Their teamwork reminds me of a well oiled machine. I dont know if this is the same crew that works everyday, but you will not be disappointed coming to this location.

As usual, the staff was great. I came in with a flat, but they didnt have my size tire in stock. They said they would keep my car overnight and install it in the morning. After looking up the tire they realized it wiuld be a special order and would take 3-5 daysfor the new tire to arrive. They placed a loaner tire on my car and toldmeto come back when my tire arrives. I got emailed from Discount tire the day before my scheduled appointment to remind me I have appointment at 4pm. I called them that I would like to push my appointment back at 5 pm instead. They confirmed 5pm is OK. I also asked the guy on the phone making sure my 4 tires are arrived at store and he said,yes all 4 tires arrived. When I showed up the next day arrived 45 minutes earlier than my schedule appointment, I was told only 2 rear tires arrived. The 2 front tires will arrive 3 days later. So much for taking 2 hours off work early and rush to pick up my kid from school. I guess my time is not important to them. Im very disappointing at Discount tire at this location.

Came in to get new rims for my daughters car for her birthday. Had a little glitch in that the ones I ordered were no longer in stock....sometimes it is how a company handles glitches that makes all the difference. The issue was handled quickly and professionally....was kept informed on the progress and am very very happy with the end result.

Ordered and paid for the tires online. Got a call from the store to see if I wanted an appointment. I declined but arrived prior to the store opening and was promptly seen when they opened. The team had my car in and out in no time and I was on my way fast. Very satisfying experience.

Shane at discount tire was not on his best game today. Didn’t even attempt to act like he wanted to provide customer service today. I ordered tires a week ago. I received a call today say we have your tires and they are mounted, balanced and ready to be put on. I had an appointment for 12:45, arrived on time and this guy goes through the process and tells me we will have you out of here around 2pm. Are you kidding me, just to throw some tires on that are already mounted and balanced. He said we have like 5 cars ahead of you. So I ask what they didn’t just give me a later time, something that they could meet. Who the hell makes the customer show up an hour before they plane to start the work on their vehicle.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I had an appointment at 4:15. I got there at 4:20. I had to wait 5 minutes behind a car in their parking lot before I could get checked in and then I sat in a space for 20 minutes while it ticked down my place 4, 3, 2, 1. Then the store manager came over to chastise me for not being on time, and said that because I was so late he had to put the 5pm appointments BEFORE me and I would have to wait 45 minutes. He would not budge. Im sorry but (1) why didnt the guy checking me in tell me that if Im 5 min late that I cant make my appointment time? (2) Why did the manager wait 20 min to be told I would miss the appointment time? Why couldnt he have kindly told me that so I didnt have to wait 25 min only to be told they could see me for 45 more min??????? NO, just no. Ive used this store for year but this manager is totally unprofessional and theyve lost my service for good.

Just got back from the guys at Discount Tire fixing a flat for me. Service was quick and great. Very pleased and will definitely be going back.

I’ve gone to this location several times for flat tire fixes and another issue with a wheel they ordered, which was wrong. Went yesterday for a low tire. They were suppose to check all the tires because a check tire pressure light came on. They said they checked it and everything was ok. I guess they added air. Next morning low tire pressure light came back on. Went to another location on the beltway and one tire had 12 lbs of air in it. So they didn’t check anything…. They would have caught the leak the day before. I won’t be going to this location again. If you do, you might want to watch and make sure they are doing what they say they are doing. Waste of time with these people.

I have been a customer of Discount tire for 25 years, and they never disappoint! The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is outstanding. They are friendly, helpful, and efficient. Since COVID-19, they have modified their procedures to maintain high levels of safety and AND still manage to get me in and out quickly!

Thank you Discount Tire for a tire rotation today! My appt. time was 11:30AM on a Saturday and they got me in after a short wait. I was in and out in lessthan 30 minutes. I had a Tesla Model 3 and they had the special hockey pucks to jack the vehicle up properly. In addition they cleaned the brake discs with a wire brush and did a thorough inspection of the tires and found a small nail in the tire on some of the wear bars, which they removed. So they did a bubble test and found fortunately it didn’t pierce all the way through.

Ive going to this Discount Tire for more than a decade even when I briefly didnt live in a nearby subdivision. Ive never experienced any level of service but excellent service. Highly recommended.

These guys are sleezy. Went behind my back and called my mom to try and sell some tires that i told them I didnt want in the first place. I was outside waiting.... Also sexist...When my mom went last time which is why I went instead.I went into discount tire today with my moms car and flat tire that was under warranty. I told them that there was a nail in the tire and if for some reason you cant fix it I just to give me a new tire with the same size. ( Which Im sure a lot of other places could have fixed it for less than 15) They tried to sell me more tires on the passenge side. I told them no. So I continued to wait outside while they determined if the tire could be fixed or not. I proceeded to get an angry call from my dad saying that they had called my mother and tried to sell her some tires. I could only let you imagine the rage I had going into that store after i already told them I dont want the tires. I just want the drivers side rear fixed or replaced. They said they couldnt fix it.. so just had them replace it.Sexist... My mom went in a couple years ago and acted like she was incapable of taking care of her car. Asked, is your husband around can I talke to him?Never going here again.

As I listened to an employee tells a customer that her wait would be 1 hour and 45 minutes because he has few customers ahead of her.Then she makes a face and says something which I could not quite catch, then he tells her... okay,okay give me about 5 minutes. He returns and tells her give me 5 more minutes and Ill get you in. Sure enough true to his word he puts her through.The same employee told me 1 hour and 30 minutes (1 hour before she arrived)! I want to know what she said to get in there so fast. Even though there was I and at least 3 other people ahead of her. I cant wait to be told she had an appointment, but like I said I know what I heard him say because my window was down. Guess he didnt pay attention to that. Disappointed at this location they have always done right by me in the past.

I have been coming to Discount Tire since I was 16 years old. My Dad referred them to me, because he has been using them his whole life! They have always had superior customer service and I would never take my car anywhere else! NEVER! However, times have now changed. I WOULD DEFINITELY AVOID THIS LOCATION! I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service that I received today. In the beginning of the year, I brought my car to this location with the complaint that one of my tires was constantly losing air. I dropped off my car with them and it was there ALL day. LITERALLY ALL DAY! I was called at the end of the day that my car was now ready for pick up and they were unable to find anything wrong with my tire. They told me that they thoroughly checked my tire. I was very skeptical, but I went on my way. Well, they were wrong. Completely wrong! I was driving on the highway with my son, and I had a mini blowout. It was an extremely scary event!!! After bringing my car back to Discount Tire, they found a nail in my tire. A huge one! They completely missed it! THAT IS SO DANGEROUS! I was extremely upset!!! Both managers got involved and reassured me that they would give me a HUGE discount on my next set of tires. I scheduled an appointment for early this morning to have brand new tires put on my car. I explained to them the situation that happened earlier in the year and that I was supposed to receive a discount. I saved all the information I needed including dates and the managers I spoke to. When I mentioned the discount, their manager Darren, one of the ones I spoke to in the beginning of the year, acted like he was reluctant to give me any discount at all. He was going to call the other manager to speak to him, but he decided not to and just give me a small discount instead. He said he could give me a 10% discount, which is only $36 off a brand new set of tires for my car. Are you kidding me? The young man Javier who was helping me did an excellent job! Nothing against him! Discount Tire has always had superior customer service, but this location is very different. They have absolutely terrible customer service! PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION! I will never be back!

Stopped in to get a flat fixed and was told to pull up and wait for someone to come out and help me. After an hour waiting and seeing cars that came after me being helped, I went in to get help. Then the service man told me they are on an appointment first basis and that the appointment would not be for another hour and a half. If this was the case, they should have told me that before I wasted an hour waiting in the parking lot. I understand they have a new system and way of doing things, but the customer service needs to improve. Let people know when the next “appointment” is so they can decide if they want to wait 2 1/2 hours or not before wasting their time!

Great service but the time estimate was about an hour behind.

Had a tire rotation and balance last Monday. The staff was very polite and courteous as usual. I got in and within 30 minutes. However, I should’ve checked my hubcaps before I left the lot. The right rear hubcap must have been loose because the next day I noticed it was missing. The hubcaps have to be removed in order to gain access the lug nuts. So I must either live without it or spend 90 dollars on eBay for new one. This particular wheel only takes OEM Toyota hubcaps. I have tried looking else where but nothing fits. The tire rotation and balance was 40 dollars plus the new hubcap is 90. 130 dollars for a tire rotation is just not worth it!

Excellent customer service and I was out before the estimated time. The tires were also not as expensive as the tire chain nezt door. I will definitely come back.

The staff was kind, and I understand current circumstances are variable. Keeping in mind that I had not scheduled an appointment online first, but did drive-up and request to have my tires rotated - nothing else. I was asked to wait in my car, told 3 others were in front of me. I saw 2 of those 3 get pulled into their bays, while 1 drove away. 3 other vehicles arrived afterwards and were serviced/pulled in and exited BEFORE I was given any ‘time frame’ or update. Overall, I spent ~50 minutes sitting in my car, and another ~25 minutes to complete the rotation. The whole time I saw no indications that they were understaffed or busier than normal. Not my normal experience of service and time spent at a Discount Tire.

Decently priced tires able to go in and look at what I wanted to buy.

Did a great job. Tire had a razor blade in it. Replaced it with a new tire. I had road hazard on it.

Had a new set of tires installed. Staff were very helpful.

Quality establishment. Competent employees seem to work here. After ordering two tires from the online website, the following day a representative called me to let me know the tires had come in and if the appointment was still available. All was good, but I asked if I could advance the schedule and was happy to be accommodated. Upon arrival an attendant checked the mileage and the two tires that werent being changed, little did I know, those two tires were quite worn as well. Thank you!

Good service, friendly staff. I have taken several trucks here over the years and have never been unhappy. They just need more staff, they are a little slow if you are waiting. However you can make an appointment, or drop your truck off and they call when its ready.

These guys are super fast and super nice. Make an appointment if possible. I got a nail stuck in my tie and I was in and out in a couple hours without an appointment, and they were pretty busy that morning.

We heard air rushing out and the tire was going flat quickly, .. so we drove across the street to Discount Tire .. one of the techs actually grabbed a screw from his toolbox, .. screwed it into our tire!! .. stopped the leak so we could drive 10 miles down the road to Sams Club and have our tire replaced under warranty!!THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE BEST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER!!

It was a scheduled appointment, when we got there they took us within 5 minutes and the tire rotation and balancing only took about 25 minutes. Fast and quick!! I suggest an online appointment!!

I called this store in a panic. My senior sister had had 2 flat tires. We rushed across town and took them off her car and headed to Discount tires only to find they were scheduled to close in 3 mins from that time. I called and explained our dilemma and they stayed late and replaced both tires and my husband put them back in her car and got her home. Thank Go and thank Michael at Discount tires.

Mr. Balderas was very pleasant and professional. He addressed my concerns and assured rotation, balance and air check would occur. A big thank you to the guys in the pit area who strive to ensure our vehicles are safe on the roads.

This was my 3rd visit in a row to simply get my tires balanced correctly. I drive 100 miles a day, 5 days a week so they need to be in good shape. Also, I can only visit the store on the weekends because it closes before I can get there after work. Since this was the 3rd visit to have the same job repeated I asked the sales person to speak to the manager after he already started preparing me mentally that the vibration was somehow my own fault. Long story short(er) the manager is evidently the only person that is qualified at the Atascocita location to properly balance tires. He checked the balance on each tire as it came off the car, and every last one of them was indicating out of balance on the machine. He pulled all the weights off from the previous attempts and was easily able to perfectly balance the tires. Im glad he could fix it, but REALLY?? 3 visits and an ordeal with the store manager to get tires properly balanced? These kids you are hiring are in desperate need of training, please see to it. We have lived in this area for 20 years and have been loyal customers of Atascocita Discount Tire. Please dont give us any more reasons to go elsewhere. Thanks for listening. Bill.

This location is always super busy. I stopped in for a visit, they asked what was needed and quickly directed me on the outside of the store (where they have a an attendant) just for people who need air in their tires. Thank goodness for that! I had the same issue once before. And Discount Tires took care of me quickly. Thank you for caring!

I wish I had better things to say about them. They broke two lug nuts on my Subaru and told me “we tried to not brake it” and refused to fix it.Now I am stuck trying to have my car fixed at an added expense. Talk about nonsense and not owning up to their wrongdoing.

If you purchase tires here, they will repair flats free for the life of the tire. I have used this service for many years. They also have a drive up bay where they will check the air pressure in your tires and fill them to specs for FREE, a wonderful people oriented business!
