Pulled up during open hours. Guy at window that looked like a donut rudely gave me the “cut throat” sign they were closed but wouldn’t open it to speak like a normal person, even though I sat there waiting on him. Wouldn’t even acknowledge me. Their open sign was still on and the sign said they didn’t close for 45More minutes. Won’t be back here again.

Normally pretty good. Frequently mess my order up tho. Google and signs posted on restaurant say that the location closes at 3 on Sunday, yet, at 2:30, there is not a soul in sight and the store is locked up.Not annoyed that theyre closed, but more so theyre supposed to be open and didnt even bother to change the close time on their DRY ERASE hours plaque.

I liked going to this one, but there is another one just on Atascocita road a mile away I will use from now on.My corporate credit card info was stolen here and used at Beltway 8 Travel Plaza in Aldine. These folks are going down. If you go here, use only cash.

I would love to applaud this shipleys for going FAR ABOVE expectation and the how they showed their ability to serve me by 1. Wishing me a happy birthday, 2. Giving me a birthday donut cake with a candle and everything, 3. Sung happy birthday to me as well. That will be remembered for such a long time and everyone there needs to be praised for going to such lengths. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Asked for fresh glazed.... They werent even warm. Spicy kolaches were not fresh either. Typically like this place, maybe next time....Ill keep my fingers crossed.

Update, update!!!!🤬🤬🤬I decided to give another try after a year of not going at all. I didnt think it could get worst.So cashier, just the upmost worst customer service skills. Cashier does not understand that when you order 6 of something it means half a dozen. Then cashier wants to scold me and say I should of used words that that person understands. Wow! 😳😮 I ask for a refund after being charged each item individually (when it makes more sense to charge by 6 or 12, financially ) and was told no. Then I demanded a refund and then was told fine. Zero stars!!! Im done with this place. The owner needs to retrain their employees.People save yourself a headache and just go anywhere else!!!!!!!Staff was somewhat friendly. Place looks clean enough. But I have had kolaches & donuts at various different Shipleys in the Humble and the Houston area. The ones here are not good at all. I wont be back. Give the Shipleys on North Main Street in Houston a try.

Barely speak English, and cant communicate very well. Asking for creme filled, and she gave me 2 apple fritters. Not what I wanted. Also asked for ham and cheese kolaches and she gave me jalapeno and cheese. Its a shame when you outsource cheap labor, and lose business because they cant communicate properly. Theres other donut shops I go to now because they speak English, and i get what I ask for. Not having to double check my bag before leaving the parking lot.

Worst Shipleys in the area! Employees dont care about quality assurance. I cut them a break the 1st time I went because it was around 11am. But this time I went shortly before 10am and still the same semi-rude service, cold donuts, and the quality of the donuts were just unexceptable. They were falling apart, pieces missing..I didnt bother eating them due to fear of what made them look like that. At 10am, there should be a smile to greet you, some semi-warm glaze donuts, and the quality that you expect from Shipleys. Might be time for new employees at this location..or at the minimum more training and/or supervision.

Shipley do-nuts are known for their warm donuts and great kolaches.This place gives you cold donuts and kolaches with tremendous amounts of bread. Almost as if they are practicing making kolaches.If your from Texas, you know Shipleys!!! unfortunately this one is not meeting the standard.

Donuts tasted old and stale. Customer service was slow and he never smiled, acted like he was annoyed to be there.

I pass this location everyday on the way to work and the kolaches are always fresh and the donuts great. The staff is very friendly and charasmatic, fully bilingual. I have never had to wait more than a minute or two for my order and I appreciate that.

They never keep coffee on hand in the afternoons, even when there is 2 hours left before actual closing. What type of donut shop doesnt have coffee? Thats an oxymoron! All they seem to care about is that tip jar they keep up front and prominent at this store. Furthermore, is there anyone at this location that speaks English anymore? Its darned frustrating, especially when they dont know how to count your money to give your change back and you cant communicate with them enough to help them count. If we were within the city limits of Houston, USCIS would have raided this shop long ago!

Great Shipley’s in the humble/atascocita area

This is the worst Shipley Ive ever been to. The only reason I even go there is because I live so close. No matter what time or day I go, they mess up my order. The other day I got 2 kolaches and 1 orange juice. Took my son to school and there was only 1 kolache in the bag. I went back because I couldnt believe they messed it up again. They looked at me like I was lying. I even gave her my receipt before she decided it was ok. Then she gave me sausage instead of ham. Ridiculous. Ill stick to driving the extra half a mile to go to Breakfast House.

Doesnt offer a lot of variety in product or drinks. The employees are not that friendly. The Porter location is better! Twice, recently, asked for jalapeño kolaches only to find out after I left I didnt get what I ordered.

Worst place. They apparently close at 6pm . And I went at 5:15pm and she looked at me and did with her hand to her throats that they were closed! Unacceptable !!!! They had 45 minutes to get me. A dozen glazed donuts. And she said no! Shipleys corporate need to come and evaluate their establishment. That was unnecessary and should have better customer service and actually speak to the customer instead of putting their hand on their throat and saying they were closed. Fire the ghetto people from there and get actual employees that are willing to work and help the customer. You can call me to talk Shupleys corporate.
