One of my favorite gamestops in KC!! They always have something I want to buy 🤣😭.

Very rude and acted like I was taking up their valuable time by asking if they still buy used PlayStation and Xbox games. Very poor customer service and very rude and snotty. If the job is getting to these guys for them to act like this maybe they should seek other employment

I always trade our older games that no one plays for credit in newer games. Since this store specializes in gaming they have a better variety at better prices than any other store around, which is why I go here.

I love GameStop, been going to them for along time. As of recently, I feel like the customer service is lacking. Its like their just trying to get you out quick not even wanting to look at you.

Friendly people there will help as much as they can but never has what you need in stock you have to order it.

This gamestop has consistently been the worst around. The employees seem annoyed and pompous. The selection is terrible. Do not recommend, go somewhere else. I tried once more today and the female working ensured I will NEVER go back.

It had the game that i wanted. The employees are nice and seem to enjoy their jobs, which is always nice. I was happy to go there and especially buy the game that i wanted from them. I suggest calling ahead to certain locations in order to see if they have what you need.

The best Game Stop in town. The folks there are super friendly and extremely helpful. Midnight release events run smoothly and my orders are always 100%.

Horrible experience. I purchased with CASH a Limited Edition console that had a fault in it. (The screen would show dead pixels) which was super apparent. Anyways, I head back to this store and talk to an employee about a solution. He then says he regrets to say that I won’t be able to get my money back, because it’s a new console, and I can’t get it exchanged because there’s none around at GameStop. Well, lucky me I guess I ask for a manager which then tells me there’s one at a mall. Sure, I head there and to my surprise, no console to be seen. Thankfully, the manager at the mall was a little more helpful and directed me to another GameStop that had it. I exchanged it and all ended well. Save to say, I’m never buying a console at GameStop ever again. Sadly even the limited edition consoles they only have. Sigh

I dont even like games, but other people that need gifts do. Im comparing this store with the one in Liberty and at the Independence Center. It is more welcoming and I like the employees here. Not that the other places are bad. They are all organized the same way. This one seems to have a lot more than the others.

No matter the sociatal excuse, discrimination & prejudice is wrong. Do I stop being human because Im disabled? GameStops hateful policies point to yes. Fix this.

Very nice employees. Took the extra step to offer me the original cases, he checked every single CD for quality and I didnt even have to ask. And it was 10 minutes till closing time that was offered the highest level guest satisfaction I couldnt be more pleased

Josh the manager here is awesome. Very helpful and never pushy. If only I could see him there less and know hes getting a day off! After my most recent visit seeing how they handle and organize a midnight release, I must say Im impressed how quickly they churned a crowd through and got everyone in and out in a quick orderly manner. This Gamestop has the best staff in town spearheaded by excellent management.

As a gamer from the 80s I appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to the old games and the new releases I once worked at GameStop but that was years ago. Good service but limited on old selections, thats to be expected tho

GameStop does not honor their return policy. IF you still decide to do business with such a shady place just know that once you pay for the item it will never be returnable. Dont go by what employees tell you. Dont go by what management tells you. Dont even go by what their paperwork says. When it come push to shove you will lose and the item will not be returned. No matter what they have to say or do. They will explain how the employees were mistaken, how management never told you what they did, and if that fails they will explain how the paperwork is wrong. If your still not convinced they will finally explain how they reclassify items so they no longer qualify. If you continue to point out the errors they will simply help the next customer. They lie. They cheat. In my opinion they steal from their customers by not honoring their written policies.

Im surprised this place is still around, but I love that it is. Its not in the best location since its hidden in the corner of a dead strip mall. The workers have been very helpful every time Im in there. Since gamestop acquired my beloved Thinkgeek they have a pretty good selection of nerd gifts here

Wether Im browsing or buying staff is always helpful. Decent stock. They always look to see if there is somewhere else that has items they dont.

Erin is amazing. Seriously the most passionate and helpful worker Ive ever seen at a Gamestop. She went above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for and even showed us other products we werent aware of. I cant imagine going to a different location now. If upper management is reading this: Give her raise or a promotion or at least some store credit.

I have been going to this GameStop for 13 years, the faces here changed some over the years, but for the most part everyone has been friendly and helpful. Have had some fun and passionate conversations about games, and consoles, with the staff. I have loved going to midnight releases and hanging out with other gamers. Cant get that at eBay or Amazon, or anywhere online. So yeah I enjoy coming to a physical store and geeking out over games here. The store is a little on the small side, so can get crowded sometimes. Overall love the crew and this GameStop!

Ashtyn helped me in the store and she did a great job. Bryce helped me over the phone and did excellent also.

The guy working greeted us as we walked in and immediately helped us with what we needed. Also got some friendly gamer conversation from our visit. 💯 Satisfied.

They are supposed to open at 10. My husband has been waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes. And the guy thats opening the store just now pulled up. 10 am is not that early. Should not be hard to get a business open by then. Still have good selection though.

Employees were very knowledgeable, since it was slow we had the opportunity to chat about games and TV. Went in to pickup Spider-Man GOTY and trade in my base game Spider-Man, trade in value was fair enough given the sale on the GOTY edition was remarkable at $20. Note sale has since ended and Im not sure what the original price is.

Great place to pick up your next game or system the prices are ok I have shopped several different locations and have been satisfied so far but this location needs better management and customer service my girlfriend and I were in the store for over twenty minutes and was never approached by a sales person even though the store was not very crowded but stop in and see for yourself

After one negative visit at the shop near the Independence Commons, I was hesitant to visit this gamestop. But after one visit, I already love this shop. One person in general stood out as a terrific employee, and thats Sam. He did amazing at trying to find us the best deals and still being helpful, friendly, and respectful. After a few more visits, and meeting more employees, I can say that this is by far one of my favorite gamestop locations. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a knowledgeable staff for any device or game.

My service was alright and I am not going to lie I am 16 years old and I went in with my brother in law who is 21 to buy battlefield 1 and coming to the register he was asked to see his id. He was good to go but than the guy working asked me for my id and I told him I am only 16. I am going to mention I was going to buy this game with my card that I was going to give to my brother in law to buy but the cashier working would not let him because he was not a legal guardian of mine and he was not buying the game for himself and would not let us get the game. After all that my brother in law told him he would just buy the game with his own money and we were still rejected from buying the game because the guy working said I can’t let you guys buy the game now. I asked if I could just get my sister who was outside in the truck if she can do it since she’s old enough to buy the game for me and seemed reasonable that she is one of my guardians. The cashier told me it has to be a legal guardian like a grandma or grandpa or a mom or dad. we were irritated that we couldn’t buy the game because we had to drive and deal with traffic and get poured on by the rain having to run there just to get rejected at the register leaving with no game.

Love these people and this place...everyone is professional and knowledgeable...and not to forget very helpful.

I technically wasnt the Customer going into Game Stop. I was doing Lyft and my Customer was in there. Sat there for a little over 30 minutes for my Customer to come out. Obviously it was worth it to my Customer. 🙂

I have two young sons that speak game and I have no idea what the heck theyre talking about half the time when theyre looking for this and that and remotes and everything else theyd need for the PlayStations Xboxes these guys were very helpful and looking forward to letting them answer my technical needs for my kids

Great store we had great help with what we were looking for. Our son was looking for skylanders figures and he found exactly what he was looking for and the price was comparable to Wal-Mart. He even found another item that was $1 and when he went to pay for it it was half off he was excited.

Great place and people but I spent a lot of time just talking even repeating same conversation maybe hold back a bit on talking felt like they needed more staff for that kind of customer service phone was ringing off the hook no cared to pick up again great staff very very knowledgeable but again the wait took too much time..

Store constantly loses pre-ordered collectables in shipping or decides to sell them instead of holding as a pre-order. But if you do pre-order, you will want to check in every so often because they rarely call to let you know its there despite offers otherwise.The store manager is very understanding and professional any time hes spoken with me, so thats a plus.

I go here for the used games. The wait wasnt long either. The man behind the counter did his job versus protracted video game and anime discussions.
