The service was great. They took their time with me—even when people were waiting in a long line. But when I came back to transfer all my stuff to my upgraded phone, the store was closed an hour earlier than published online or even on the door. This was disappointing to say the least. So…good score (5 stars) for actual customer service but poor score (1 star) for not doing what you say you are going to do, or being there when you say you will.

Needed a new phone, came in on Sunday to see if they could fix my old phone, and they were very kind and helpful, though it turned out my problem was not fixable. Came back Monday to get a new phone. I did not have to wait long, and the people were once again very helpful and patient, despite the store being busy.

I have used att for decades now - they were my long distance carrier. So they have always been my cell phone provider. I know two of our local att employees who always provide the utmost in service whether it be a question or purchase. I explained exactly the phone I wanted for my needs and that is exactly what I purchased. Thank you!

I went in to pay my bill at the pay station. I made a comment about my bill seemed a bit high. An associate stepped up got me a better plan for less money and HBO max. Then spent about 30 minutes setting it all up. She didnt have to do that. She made my day. I didnt catch her name but thank you!!! Not often these days I come home feeling like someone did something for me for nothing.

I went to this store for four times to change the phone number from post paid to pre paid. staffs there were not able to figure it out.they said its too complicated.When I went there for the fourth time, there is a guy name caller Will who is calm and composed was able to help me in just 20 minutes and solved the problem for me. He is smart and confident and customer friendly.everyone at Ithaca AT&T store should be like Will. Will should be promoted. the only reason Im leaving five stars for this store is because of Will. thanks Will.

Kyle at the Ithaca ATT store provided excellent, knowledeagble service when I came in looking for an upgrade for my phone. I was seen at the time of my appt. without waiting and he had helped me find a phone that meets my needs and had all of the items transferred from my old phone and I was nearly home within an hour of my appt. time. Best service ever. I dread these events and put off upgrading because finding a phone and getting everything moved usually takes an afternoon out of my life. Not this time. Thanks Kyle!

Upgraded from a 08 era blackberry to an iPhone 8+. Decided to try to stay connected with people more since Im practically out of the loop with everything. Especially as a young adult in school in the area, so yeah. Difference is remarkable. Taking pictures of everything. First pic I took was of a rock, it was beautiful.ANYWAYS, the customer service rep was chill. His name is Kevin and likes baseball caps. Took at little over an hour, though it was due to me being indecisive about purchase and all-also there was little delays in the AT&T tablet thingy where it looks into AT&T acct--but I wasnt pressed on time cuz I had plenty of time that day since it was after my classes. Also IMO it was the slowest chill AT&T store Ive ever been in, but I went on a Thursday afternoon so that explains the reason why probably....Took a bunch of pics of practically everything. If youre interested in camera quality Ill advise you to check the pic of this used tissue. Just cause. *shrug*

Matt the manager is very dedicated to the job, he identifies and completes the necessary task even with the misconceptions Walmarts OSL (Jeremy!) will send you there with. Had a great experience at this store. Had to visit this store 3x in one week . Needed to upgrade 2 phones add 2 lines Kyle was amazing and patient helping us through all of this while still keeping our bill where it need to be. Had to exchange a phone again Kyle was eager to help and get a a new phone. Jerry is an amazing ppl person and always willing to help out . Had a problem with one of the phones I ordered called the store and the Mgr Marissa didnt even hesitate she told me to come right in so she could help. This will definitely be my go to store from now on for my ATT needs.

Overall the representative was very kind, patient and explained everything with detail. However, I was little taken aback when my sister and I entered the store and told them we are planning to open post pay account, they asked if we have our passports (for those who doesnt know they ask this to foreigners,because they often time doesnt have driver license yet). We spoke fluent English and we are both Americans. Also we are Ithaca native too. We just *look* Asian. We were very disappointed at racists way they greeted us. If we looked white they wouldnt have asked us that.

I ported my number from Cricket Wireless to AT&T Prepaid on Monday. I can make calls but still didnt have data and texting after 2 days. I came to the store this morning after spending many hours on the phone with AT&T CSR and tech support, who couldnt resolve the issues after going through all the troubleshooting drills.Ultimately I spent all morning at the store but I am very grateful and impressed by the work ethics, professionalism and dedication of the staff I met. In particular, I want to give kudos to Shauntay and Melissa, who talked with tech support, supervisors and eventually connected me with Apple (network issues). Melissa worked tirelessly and relentlessly since there were various barriers and limitations that she had to address. she also had to multi-task to help with other customers since the store was becoming busier as the morning progressed.I was relieved that my data and texting functions were restored at the end. We are lucky to have such exemplary staff at the AT&T Ithaca store, who do their best to serve, assist and advocate for their customers when needed. They are to be commended for the fine work they do and have reversed my first (unfavorable) impression of AT&T. THANK YOU!!!

After talking about one hour with at&t customer service for transfer of responsibility, they told me you are good to go to their office and everything would be Ok! However, it seems nothing was done ! Their responses was not satisfying. After 2 and half year being a valued at&t customer they offered prepaid plan! I was shocked. This was not the one I was waiting for.

We went to the store and the man that helped me seemed like he didn’t know what he was talking about and didn’t care about anything I was saying. While vacationing in Ithaca over Fourth of July weekend, I discovered fraudulent activity on my account. Despite having to make two trips to the AT&T store in Ithaca, Chris and Eric went above and beyond to protect my identity and remove the unauthorized users. They took the initiative to work with the fraud and tech support departments so that I did not have to. While still a frustrating situation to have to deal with, they did everything they could to make it as simple as possible. Highly recommend this location for its customer support.

Ive been a customer since 1997 and they were called Cingular one! It speaks volumes...always great customer service,always ready to make you happy! One time a manager gave me her personal charger bc mine had a loose wire and they were out of stock with the kind I needed! How cool is THAT!?

If I can give a lower rating I would. I came in to try and see if my phone would charge. I ran and errand and came back to find out that my phone is not charging. A different person brought me my phone from the back. They inquired if i have direst tv which i do. They suggested that I cancel and put in my spouses name for a lower quote. I was told by Larry Noonan that I can think about it and cancel an appointment for this. They took some basic information. I was just notified that at and t did a hard credit pull, I was never informed that there would be a pull of my credit report. The a t and t store number is near impossible to actually get a representative on the line. I am more than unhappy.

Showed up to the store there was 3 people ahead of me. So I thought it shouldn’t be too long. Wrong! Over an hour and I’ll still here there is 3 people helping customers and I’m guessing it’s he manager that’s kinda just floating around. Not really doing much and disappearing into the back for extended periods of time. No one seems to be in a hurry at all to help anyone.

Mediocre service. I went to this location to buy a new sim card for my iPhone. The agent took the initiative to setup my iPhone as new, flipping through and making choices along. He assured me that I could update my preferences later. After I downloaded all of my apps I realized that you could only do the data transfer from android at the beginning of the setup process. I had to start over. Recommendation: dont let them set up your phone.
