I walked into store with my husband to explore getting new phones. The person at the door started telling me what we couldn’t do there; kept correcting us; argued about access to other dealers closer to our home. We get new phones every two years but we’ve NEVER had such discourtesy or poor service at any other Berizon store. We walked out to find another Verizon location.
Well it seems that Verizon has fallen victim to workers that dont really care about their job anymore as well as were seeing across the country. However I have been a customer of Verizon wireless for close to 20 years I do two sides of Verizon personal phones for family and 12 lines for the company I run that used these on a daily basis. I have never been treated so bad by Verizon as I was this last visit. Buying a $900 phone and they want a nickel and dime me cleared down just to get cash money out of me of a lousy $35 or I cant have the phone that day. They want the $35 activation fee paid that day. What is wrong with them somebody in control of so many phones and lines and you want a nickel and dime them for a lousy $35. I have had bills with Verizon back in the day of 3 and $4,000 for my businesses a month and like I said a customer for close to 20 years and out of the blue you wont just put this to my account unbelievable. Ive been seeing lately more and more the unfortunate of workers that simply dont care then after my business had to be shut down approximately 10 days ago because Verizons entire system was down and my business relies on the Verizon wireless so I lost three or four thousand dollars due to no fault of mine but the fault that the phones wont work and they wont let me buy a phone without paying them $35 cash that day I can charge the phone to my account I can charge the accessories to my account lets get the sale out the door but by golly youre going to pay us that $35 cash today doesnt make sense and now Im going to change carriers. Its not like Im asking for them to do something extraordinary I just didnt have the cash on me that day and could have put it on the card but this is clearly not over the money its the principal and Verizon has taken an absolute nosedive in the last couple of years to the point of no return with my patients. I have successfully run businesses for years and clearly dont believe in their business model thats happening now you would think that the customers would still be important with all the competition out there but Verizon just doesnt care anymore. Keep in mind this is all on top of being told I should have made an appointment because theyre so busy since they dont have enough employees however you cant get through to the store so how are you to make an appointment???
Excellent service! Solved my problem very quickly and professionally.
Whoever runs HR for Verizon employees needs to send the managers from this store to a sensitivity seminar; they have no idea how to interact with a customer on the ASD spectrum, and the female manager (no name tag both days in a row I went for help) in particular had no composure or professionalism. I understand that there is a staffing shortage, but at least in the beginning the male manager Austin was personable.Id been having such bad anxiety that I brought my mom and medical advocate with me for support in case I got confused, and we were all treated like an imposition after waiting 45 minutes to be helped. All I wanted was some direction transferring my old Google phone to my new Google phone, and Id made an appointment.I specifically said multiple times that I have trouble understanding things and wanted to wait until my phone was fully set up to leave. The female manager told me they dont let customers hang out to set up their phones because there was no WiFi in the store. She proceeded to walk around the store holding my phone instead of taking time to sit at booth five with us and explain what she was doing, and after a measly test call she scooted us out the door. My fully working new phone was unable to recieve any messages after that, and so I called customer support the next day, who gave me a number to give to the workers at my store during my next appointment. We gave the managers the number and they laughed at us, literally. They insisted it was my fault and badgered me, arguing with us that I didnt have a bad experience the day before. In the end (and one very public anxiety attack later), it turns out the day prior when she wasnt explaining anything, she put my six-year-old 4G SIM into my brand new 5G phone. A mistake that would not have been made if the transaction had received proper attention before. The best part was I never got an apology, and the managers yelled at me in the store even afterwards. As I said before, zero composure or professionalism. I am not able to work right now, so its offensive to me that they take their jobs for granted. I wish this were an exaggeration, Ive never felt so unwelcome anywhere in my life.
Went in for a phone set up, GM insisted phone was good to go after a phone call to it. Turns out it needed a 5g sim card because its a 5g phone, go figure. After not receiving texts for 2 days went back in to see same GM (who I found out by asking, even though the manager had a name tag with position title) who put in a new sim card, without apologizing for rude and unprofessional behavior, or admitting to ever having made a mistake.Old sim card with old phone, transfer to new phone needed new sim. Couldve taken 2 minutes but, instead took 2 days because of an adamantly incompetent General Manager. Going to xfinity mobile, they piggy back Verizon networks. Same service, no BS.
Terrible customer service. Was told by tech support to go to corporate office to get my phone replaced due to a faulty battery. Zero help and was sent away. My phone has insurance and a warranty and still no help.
Knownable about their products too.Duane
Friendly and kind staff every time I have been in. I don’t normally do reviews but, it was important for me to share as I know how hard it can be to work with the public in a retail environment.
Need more help. Seemed rushed.
Poor service extremely rude staff. Wish I could give it a minus rating. To the owner. This is the second time Ive had horrible service. Your staff will not get a third opportunity.
Not a corporate store. Basically sales only. Can help to setup new phone...for a fee.
Great Verizon store in Keizer OR. excellent service and easy to deal with.
Decided to go with Verizon after hearing good things about them! Sadly my experience has been a nightmare :( my boyfriend broke his screen and so he ordered a new phone online to be shipped to our home, realized the address was incorrect after the order so he called Verizon and they fixed it and said it would ship to the correct address. He never got his phone. A month later we noticed $1000 on our phone bill. We called and they said it was for “not turning in the trade in phone” when we went in store to get phones. So my boyfriend sent his old phone in. The $1000 states on our bill. He called again and they said it was actually for the missing iPhone. They said he needs to lay or get our phones turned off. He explained he never got the phone and had just picked one up at the store after the address was wrong. They traced the shipping on the iPhone and found out it is in a fedex facility. So they found the phone and we thought all was good. Today they said that since fedex hasn’t sent them the phone yet we still need to pay $1000 or have our phones turned off and that there is absolutely nothing they can do. Generally the management and staff is amazing but the manager on today was absolutely horrible and rude not only to us but to the employees around her. This really sucks for us, especially during covid :(
Unfair to return a broken device got a couple of gentlemen telling me that it wasnt going to be returnable or exchangeable for whatever reason decided to go home and talk to my son about it since it was his device brought it back the next day explain to the gal what I was trying to do and why we wanted to return it and what was going on with it and she returned it for me no problem got another one ordered and its on its way so I guess it depends on who you talk to
I parked in the closest spot to the store and the guy working there didnt like that. He told me to park in a different spot so I parked in front of a different Verizon store all together.
The staff was fine but Verizons policy of not allowing staff with a phone purchase in store is rediculous. They are only allowed to help with technical issues. Staff just standing around twiddling their thumbs.
The employee are very helpful
I called the store and Austin, the manager, answered. I had questions about my bill which he promptly researched and explained to me. What he could not fix, he connected me to the 800 number to get the problem resolved. I was ready to do battle but ... there was no need! Austin is approachable and amiable and very professional!
They were a bland and ineffective crew. The management is unaware of his stores surroundings. As well management and employees all seemed to lack prowess for customer service/pleasantries. The manager hassled a disabled person ruthlessly. He called out vulgar obscenities toward the handicapped man and I had to leave from the spectacle.
Unfortunately Verizon fell short of providing high level customer support to us while visiting the store. The guy was more interested in selling me a phone and constantly kept scanning the room seeing other people were more interesting. The guy wouldn’t even look at my phone figure out why the upgrade was not working he only wanted to sell me a phone which unfortunately I did buy but with how rude and unhelpful he was we should’ve left. As being a long time Verizon customers this was the worse customer service experience ever
Good customer service like every other visit.
Horrible service! The guy that was helping me was not even paying attention to me he was more concerned on what was going on with the people next to me. It was until my husband came in that he Focused on me. Definitely will be going to another Verizon store.
Nice but, not very helpful at all. If you go in and say give me the most expensive thing there they probably will help and be more motivated. Last time I was there it was better then the Go Wireless locations, but now, pretty much the same.
Quickly fixed my problem . Friendly technician.
Waited an hour and a half to be told that they couldnt process a business account order. No offer to hold the phone, no actual solutions. But hey there is stock at South Salem and they might be able to help. Thanks!
Justin Wallace works at this store and he is the greatest!! He was funny and knowledgeable and very helpful. He went out of his way to make me a happy customer he even called other stores to check and make sure that I got the correct plan. But the best thing about him is that he has such high energy - and made me laugh the whole time I was there!! Hes awesome!
Jesus was very helpful, he educated me on the benefits of the Apple Watch and iPad Pro. Also, helped me return an older iPhone. Very knowledgeable and patient. Great experience- for someone just passing through.
We exchanged an item ordered online and the in store rep was very friendly and answered our questions. The online ordering experience was terrible, it glitched 3 times, had to re-enter all the order info and then it shipped to home instead of in store pick up, which is what I chose before it started glitching.... NOT happy with online ordering OR with not being able to talk to a sales rep on the phone.
Ondrea Majeski is who helped my family. She made us feel excited about our switch from Sprint to Verizon. We felt that she was very honest, and she didnt try to sell us anything we didnt need. She had our best interest in mind while helping us. She made everything so easy. Already happy with Verizon and Ive only had them for 1 day!! Give her a raise :)
Make an appointment! They are ALWAYS VERY busy. WAIT TIMES MAY BE AN HOUR OR MORE IF YOU WALK IN. Helpful staff, problem solvers and explain step by step when they answer your product/plan/upgrade questions. Bryan, Frankie and the rest do an amazing job. I live closer to the South Salem location but these guys have been my go-to since we moved to Salem 2.5 years now.
Excellence and customer service and having product on hand as well as accessories I rate them 10 stars best Verizon store in Salem Oregon and Kaiser course
I’ve had Verizon wireless for almost 20 years, will be canceling my account after the experience today. Had to wait for them to help all the people in front of me that were getting tech service and new phones, all I wanted was to purchase an accessory, can’t believe there is no way to just walk in and grab an accessory and pay and leave. 20 min to purchase an accessory is ridiculous
Better layout then before, staff is professional. Had a miscommunication on price, not sure if that was on me or them. I go here regularly, they always get things taken care of
Always so helpful. And can explain to me what I dont understand. We drive to the Kaiser and not go to the one that is a mile from us in Woodburn.
Angel on Wednesday and Jesus today at Keizer station Verizon store were respectful and very helpful. They provided what was needed. Thank you!
Ive been to this location 4 or 5 times. Every time I was happy with the service. They were very helpful when I needed to return my Note 7. They made a bad experience a little more tolerable. I ended up getting an LG V20. I recommend this store. Ive been to the Lancaster Mall location, and my experience there was less than enjoyable.
I was having issues upgrading my phone, the person that I was talking to(John?) got to the point of the upgrade where there was the issue and then wasn’t willing to help me try to figure it out. Said that I could maybe call Verizon to deal with it. Pretty much as soon as he wasn’t going to be able to sell me a phone he was done talking to me. Went to a store in Eugene and the guy there figured it out in 5 minutes and got me my phone.
Specialist Bryan was the individual who worked with us. Typically when you are a specialist, you know how to perform your job. I tried correcting him saying that we were only transferring devices, not buying. He said that we had to be managers to do the switch, luckily the manager was there and able to fix the situation. Later, Bryan was stuck trying to transfer the phone. He continued to try the same thing over and over with no luck. Did he try to ask for help from a coworker or someone else? No, he did not. Again, the manager saw how long he was taking and came in tried twice. Told Bryan to call someone to fix it. I dont know what Bryan would do without the manager to walk him through his job. So, big thanks to the manager. On a side note, Bryan left us after putting in the sim and never came to check on us, so we ended up just leaving after making sure it worked.
I have been to this Verizon location several times, but the last two have been the best. They have been so wonderful because of Brian! He is amazing and will be the one you should ask for every single time. My grandmother and I went into the store and he spent a while with us. He answered any and all questions we had and made sure we were comfortable with every detail before proceeding. He took the time to grab paper, write out everything, and calculate the math for every phone bill. He never complained once. The second time around, my husband and I returned to get him a new phone. As soon as we walked in, Brian was right there. We would have asked for him anyway, even if we didnt see him right off the bat. He remembered me and all of the work him, my grandmother, and I had done during the previous store visit. Again, he grabbed some paper, a pen, his tablet, and went to work. He laid out every single option and made sure we knew how every phone that we were interested in worked. We swapped stories and laughed a ton! We were joking the whole time and having a lot of fun. He made it so much less stressful. He wasnt pushy whatsoever. I am not one to respond well to pushy salesmen and I tend to be more willing to work with the less pushy guys. Brian is your guy. Verizon is lucky to have him and so is the next person who gets the pleasure of receiving his phenomenal customer service! You rock, Brian. Thank you so much!
I have been with Verizon for over 30 years. Great phones and tablets. Lots of choices for plans. Verizon is now up to speed with the roll over minutes and data.
I purchased an Arlo cam a few months ago. I didnt find out now (2 months later), that when it activated, my total mobile protection plan that encompassed all devices on the plan had gone away. When calling customer service, they indicated that it wouldnt allow me to have the camera and the mobile protection both on there at the same time. I was not happy, so I called Robyn who was the original associate that helped me at Keizer Station, and she didnt even hesitate to sort through it, find a solution and ended up saving me money! Thank you Robyn, you are an asset to the team there, and I am very pleased with the service that you provided!
One would think that with all their fancy equipment they would have a proficient system. The check-in is a joke...if its done by the order in which you arrived why are people who just walked in going before you? If theres a service they cannot provide, the person conducting the check-in should know that so youre not wasting your time standing around only to have them tell you that they cant help you..
Called and asked if they had a Galaxy Note or Note Plus in stock, they told me they had both in all three colors. Arrived, told them I was looking for either of those phones, they said they had them in stock. Had to update my account, which ended up taking nearly an hour. Once everything was in order, they didnt have either of the phones in stock. So apparently, they sold at least 6 phones while I sat an exorbitant amount of time trying to get my account updated.I dont normally leave reviews, but this sucked, bad. Id highly recommend anywhere else or any other service. Even if you can buy a phone from a guy on the side of the road .... itd probably be better.
James McCullough and Bryon are outstanding! Best Verizon employees ever! They were so kind and helpful and I didnt feel stupid for being a techno-idiot about phone stuff. Thank you!
Today I have had my best experience at a Verizon store to date! Victor Z. was on the ball today. That is a huge compliment for me. He was able to take care of my issue and questions. I am sure this could have been accomplished by many others but he mad us feel like we mattered and were not just another number like past experiences. Victors service today sealed my relationship with Verizon. I have considered bundling my Directv with a new AT&T account to get that extra discount but service and time is more important to me. I have known that the blue guys cannot beat the red guys as far as phone service. If Verizon has more employees like Victor, their customer service cannot be beat also.Thank you.
This place is s joke. About every 3rd time I come in it seems like they have an okay deal. Verizon customer service in general is such a joke. They have no idea what the promotional deals are. They post different deals online vs in the store. Never have the promotional deals ever been as good in reality as they look on paper. Verizon customer for over 20 years and they always have deals for new customers and garbage for existing customers. I guess to get the best deals every 2 years you have to switch to at&t for 2 years then come back. This location is by far the worst I have been to of Verizons. 3 people helped 1 person and others waited for service. Only to get the new girl that has to go back and forth to another rep for help. I guess my business isnt important enough spending $230 a month to get some that can actually help. Needless to say whoever is running this store now probably shouldnt be. And maybe it time to take my business elsewhere.
Verizon keeps getting better. Nice people working there.
I went into this store because we wanted to upgrade our phones and switch to unlimited data. The guy that helped us took forever to figure out how to change our plan and then told us that our bill would be pretty close to the same amount after the prorated bill. He was VERY WRONG! He Reactivated a line I told him to shut OFF and now I have paid an extra HUNDRED dollars not realizing he completely EFFd up my account and is WAY OVER charging me! I am VERY upset and I dont plan on going there anymore.
Good employees know what theyre doing helpful
The only store I will use.. They treat you like like family... The Manager Joe Horn is Awesome... Highly recommend this store..
Excellent service and support get switched over to Verizon.
Great service! Jose got me set up with a new phone, helped me transition from my previous provider, and transfer all my data to my new phone. He was very personable and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. Also of note, one of his coworkers was helping an elderly woman who had a few questions, but mostly wanted to visit. The employee showed sainty patience and empathy to the woman and probably made her day. Some real star employees!
Very good. As a matter of fact it was great. Will always come back for help the people there are the best.
Highly suggest you either call or drop in to see how many people are in front of you. I got there at 2 and was told there were 5 people ahead of me and it should be no longer than 15-20 minutes. Took an hour and a half to be seen. I honestly couldve handled my situation over the phone but figured Id go into the store because I was in the area. Otherwise very friendly staff and plenty of seating to sit and wait.
Love Verizon, you get service even out in the middle of nowhere. This store gets you in and out in no time.
This location has a great selection of devices but a dearth of salespeople who really know about the phones. When the Moto X (2014) edition received the latest Android update (5.0), I stopped in to see how it ran on the hardware. Unfortunately, both display phones werent updated and the salesman seemed unimpressed that it was one of the first devices to get the update. I left without seeing Lollipop because the salesman just walked away.Too bad.
I hoped to make this short and save some details but here it is.... They sold me an extra phone line after specifically asking them to remove it from a paper quote. I even crossed it out and edited the math. The sales rep Alex said he would remove it. I made the mistake of believing him.My wife went in to resolve the issue. 1. She was told that we would have to keep the extra line for 6 months. 2. She was told they could fix it, but they would have to charge us a $50 restocking fee on a device that we were keeping. My wife insisted they needed to fix the issue with no fees to us. That is when someone stepped in and told 2 different sales people how to resolve the issue, which they eventually did EASILY without us having to keep an extra line for 6 months or pay a $50 restocking fee on a phone we wanted to keep. (This could have been done in the beginning). We get the feeling that they work off of commission, which includes commission from fees. We do not know if this is true or not.It was also frustrating that Alex never took any responsibility for mistakes.Miscommunication is always a possibility, but he never conceded that it could have been his fault. He always presented a smile and a quick answer but we felt like he could have done much better by showing a little humility. He may be new and undertrained (he had to seek help with each new problem). But that makes the whole store seem bad as there were 4 other associates not helping customers who could have come over and walked him through what he needed to do instead of telling him what to do and sending him back to us without fully understanding what he was even telling us. The issue could have been handled quickly and effectively from the beginning especially with all of the staff. This was not the case until my wife threatened that she was about to lose her patience. I hope other customers receive better care than we did. There were a few lesser communication issues regarding how the plan or technology worked that I will leave out. What should have been an easy 20-30 minute visit turned into an hour and 45 minutes of wasted time and frustration. This is probably only the second or third review I have taken the time to write. I do not enjoy this. I hope the store will see it and use it in their future training.
The customer service was awesome at the Keizer Station store. Very patient, and extremely helpful! Thank you, and God Bless!
They lied to me about the Bogo, told me they didnt have it anymore. Now I called market street Verizon and they are willing to uphold the offer to me
Robyn was extremely helpful and took the time to explain all the options.
Slow service today. Worst of all they were unable to help me figure out how to fix my new Galaxy 7 Edge phone that no longer lets me add words or names to the dictionary. They did not have and could not find screen protector for my phone either. Pretty disappointing. Usually they are great.
Gentleman by the name of Nick helped us.... Very knowledgeable n helpful....Thanks Nick
Chris is absolutely fantastic. Best customer service ever. He is genuine and consistent.
Frankie was super helpful. I walked out very happy with my purchase... just wish they had a bathroom here i had to go for awhile but didnt want to lose my place in line by leaving
Really bad and poor customer service. Would not recommend this place at all. I do not recommend as a carrier. They just promise you promotions and then dont give it to you
Poor Service. Although they have a 4:1 ratio personnel compared to AT&T, they are not as friendly or helpful. Hours are also shorter than AT&T directly across from them. For years I had to ask them to charge my phone as a courtesy when I was shopping in the store. Turns out they have charging stations and chargers at AT&T for open use. I switched from Verizon when after 10 yrs, much of it on automatic pay, the best they could do on an upgrade and adding a new line was to discount $30 for the new line... no other offers. Well good riddance... I went to AT&T.
The customer service is fine. Ive never had problem. The wait time, though, is a little nuts. Plan to spend at least an hour in the store if you need anything at all.
Horrible service! Went in to upgrade our phones and the woman who assisted us had horrible customer service. Just gave us our phone and did not open it up to check if it works or anything. She gave it to us and basically told us it will prompt a pin and it will activate itself. IT DID NOT WORK and we had to drive to another Verizon!
The Verizon the Kaiser station in Kaiser hands down the best store from the manager all the way down through every employee quality people good knowledge always able and willing to help I Sincerely appreciate you all
Have yet to have a good experience at this location. Promised one thing but returned next day and was told had to complete the transaction the day before - got nothing. Reviewed the experience for them on their survey, got an email next day from their Customer Service Manager, promised resolution and response and have never heard from him again (its been almost a year).Second visit, was second person in the store when they opened that day, went on their check-in/wait list only to have another employee stand at their front door and start helping others as they walked in the door. If you want customer service avoid this place and carrier. Im unfortunately locked in for another year because of termination fees.More bars in more places its true, but more customer service in more places is completely missing..
Some of the most helpful people Ive come across. I had a lot of questions and they took the time to help.
They were willing to take the time necessary to ensure that I understood everything that was taking place. When a go wireless branch was not
The only place I have gone to for cell phone. Make sure you get a person that knows computers.
Lovely staff
Robert helped me just now and was awesome! Best Experience!!
Good customer service. Friendly and fast.
Very helpful never go to a Franchise store
The first sale rep Michael was great. Then he had to ask the manager for an approval on our contract. The manager came over and very rudely said whats the problem? He said one phone can upgrade the other cant . When I said fine thanks well wait, the manager said why are you being so rude to me its so nasty???? I said are you kidding me right now? Im your customer and youre being exceptionally rude, to which he kept saying I was rude. I told him we were out of there and would be canceling both accounts and he said whatever!!!! Unbelievable, we signed up same day with Sprint. This happened at 11:20 am 07/12/15. Horrible....
Best cell provider customer service average.
We waited 20 minutes for a simple question to be answered, only to find out Verizon doesnt Cary the product any longer.
Appreciate the fast service and thorough explanations for things...my son will enjoy his new phone!
Always busy but pretty nice store. Knowledgeable
Buying a mobile device is never a pleasant experience but this if you have to, this is the place to go. It has the best customer service of all the Verizon stores within 30 miles.
First person wasnt helpful second Jesus was great
Needed new phones and received excellent service and were outfitted with what we need- not oversold. Very knowledgeable.
Awesome support with any problems you have!
When you arrive it says closed due to Corona virus
Quick, consise & didnt try to up sell me anything. Pleasent surprise.
Company owned and always busy, but they do a good job of helping you when your turn arrives.
Helpful employees, they dont force you to spend money on things you dont need!
If you need a verizon phone this store has great custumer sirvice
Bryan was extremely helpful and friendly. Answered allmy questions and concerns.
Great service, fast in and out. No pressure to buy something I didnt want nor need.
Helpful people.knowledgeable speedy.
Swindled my 55 year old, non-technical mom. She went in asking for a 128 gb iPhone 8 (which they dont make, and logically Victor, the sales person, then should have offered the 64gb or 256gb version) but instead sent her home with an IPhone 7 after paying a $30 activation fee.She brought it back in and asked to switch to the version of phone she originally asked for (which was only $0.01 more) and they charged her another $30 activation fee in addition to the one she already paid to start the iPhone 7, and charged her a $35 restocking fee. Manager was unhelpful and unsympathetic the situation. She left stating I will never be back here. If you are not technical, you can avoid this level of experience (and restocking fees) by purchasing at Costco or Best Buy. Dont go here.
Good people & good service
Huge dude refused to look at my device. Had to insist that they do and once one of his coworker took me, problem was solved in seconds. Management didnt seem to care, just stood there.
I just returned back from Verizon, and I had bad, really bad experience. On the beginning, it was aVerizon mistake, they told us a wrong information. The assistan manager was very rude, even yell at me that I have to returned my phone or I have to sell it on Craglist. Really? Is it a good way to talk with costumers! Keep doing it and you will success in your life.
I came into Verizon at the Keizer Station because I was having problems with my text messaging on my phone, the problem started two months ago. The sales person Nathan who come over to help me, was of no help, made me feel like i was bothering him, and I was in a very good mood before entering the store and having to deal with this sales person left me angry. I left the store after five minutes of dealing with this person, and went to one of retail offices and was treated very well, unlike how I was treated at the Keizer Station Verizon by Nathan. The problem is with Verizon and the way you receive text from someone with a different provider, but if there provider is with verizon, no problem, otherwise you will get your text in blocks, that you may not get part of or the blocks will be out of order and you will have to desifer to make sense of it. It seems that other customers are also having this problem after switching to Verizon from other providers. Verizon claims to be number one, but if your so called compantition that you say are not as good have no problem keeping the text together, then whats Verizons peoblem.
