We walked past this shop and after googling it; we knew we had to try it. I text the shop owner and was able to pick up my order the same day (after placing the order online). They were delicious!! We received a variety of flavors with our favorites being the peanut butter and the key lime. The concept was really cute and we definitely plan on returning the next time we’re in the area.

Ordered online for pickup. They must be having shortened hours because of covid or off season. The owner contacted me within an hour of my order to let me know when it would be ready for pickup. Pickup was quick and easy. They were very polite and welcoming. I only picked up an 8 piece because i’m heading back home in a couple days. The only way to describe the taste is, individual bites of heaven. So many individual flavors in one bite. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be back for more my next visit to the Keys.

I lived in Key West for 25 years, and I moved to New Orleans three years ago. It is safe to say that one of the things I miss the most about my little island is Cupcake Sushi! Not only are they delicious, they are so pretty to look at, almost too beautiful to eat, but you will be doing your taste buds a great disservice if you dont eat them! The founders are wonderful community minded gals too, who definitely give more than they get. Dont miss this culinary adventure if you make it to the Southernmost City!

Walked 20+ minutes through the rain and they were closed almost an hour before there listed hours. We even called a head but the person who answered was not very helpful. Our trip to key west was already going poorly and this just made it worse.

I ordered the 18 piece cupcake sushi for my partners birthday. They did not disappoint they were just masterpieces and amazing treats. It took us about a week and half to finish off the box. Take your time eating them.to enjoy every flavor within one roll. The owner is amazing, she waited for me at her shop till I could get there to pick them up. Definitely will be getting more very soon.

We LOVE Cupcake Sushi! I am personally not a fan of cake because its usually dry, has too much icing, and/or its too much for one portion. Cakeballs are fun but not as unique as Cupcake Sushi. These bite-sized pieces of yummy goodness are not only moist and flavorful, but are fun, pretty, and unique. Weve had them at a couple of events and the display is immediately eye-catching, in part because theyre so different. In the years since Cupcake Sushi launched, Ive not see anything else like these. If youre in Key West, go grab a package or contact them about catering for an event. You wont be disappointed.

Literally the most beautiful deserts I have ever seen. Unique and one of a kind despite the crooks. Don’t be fooled by the knock offs, true and authentic and delicious. Customer service is wonderful and personal.

My wife loves this place. She is a fairly discriminating chocolatier herself and really appreciates their flavors and creativity. After visiting several times in key west I ordered some to Seattle for Valentine’s Day. Fedex pulled a fedex and delivered them 4 days late. I let Lori at cupcake sushi know and she took care of us despite fedex refusing to accept any responsibility. She has won a raving fan for life!

This was truly the highlight of sons wedding! Had it in Key West and decided to have it shipped to Oregon for his wedding!!The flavors are incredible and everyone seemed to have their favorite. The guests kept asking where it came from. Highest recommendation!!!

Cupcake Sushi in Key West has been one of my absolute favorite desserts that myself and family have enjoyed for many many years and have had shipped out of state just to have them!It’s a shame to see negative comments from certain individuals on here (if you have seen them) that support a different company called Yum Yum Sushi Desserts. Yum Yum Sushi desserts is a former employee (the baker who used the patented recipes created by the creator of CupCake Sushi) that worked for Cupcake Sushi previously at some point and stole the patented idea and all recipes and opened in another Country. So if “the cakes were dry” “or disgusting” as these individuals are reporting, then to be frank I wouldn’t go to Yum Yum Sushi because that was the guy baking them! Just saying! There also has to be something to it and be something ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS if Yum Yum Sushi found it necessary and is stealing this patented idea and opening some place else. Also just saying! In case they forgot, what they are doing is illegal.However, also most importantly this is a dessert that I have seen with my own very 2 eyes enjoyed not just by friends and family, but also celebrities FOR YEARS!!! Hard to find this place as it is no longer a place! The store was apparently unable to recover from the hurricane but the baker still makes them, so, if you do want to find these generally tasty bites (which may have been more novelty fun than extremely delicious) than you need to do a little hunting. They are now sold down on FRONT STREET and can be purchased from behind the counter at THE WHITE TARPON DELI.

Id rather eat sushi then thease way over priced bland and rude staff
