A horrible experience right from the beginning. A 7pm reservation had us helped at 7:45 with constant visits to the back of the store to print out quotes which was a process that could have been done at the booths we were located at. Following that with an associate with a manager badge who seemed less informed than myself after reading a few plans online. It seems like the associates at this store are aware that their positions are slowly becomg obsolete as online account management becomes more independent. I can only hope they seek other jobs before its too late. Avoid this location at all costs and visit verizon.com instead

What happened to the Verizon store? I went in there to get a new phone and the salesman only tried to sell us a roadside plan and a smart phone I didn’t want a smartphone or a roadside assistance plan. I wanted 2 flip phones which are better for me since I am in construction. They quickly said I would need to come back once I had an appointment!!!! Why would I come back If I’m already here!!!! They even went into the back and pulled the 2 phones I wanted!!!!! Something is truly wrong here!!!! I ended up placing my order on the phone with a very nice customer service representative. This store at Smith Haven Mall in lake grove New York has a bunch of inexperienced lazy employees!!!! I will never go there again!!!!

Nice staff. All the phone cases in the back so staff has to pull the options out, slowing us down as that is all we needed. We had to use a machine to pay. Stagg not able to do it themselves.

Not the greatest experience...hurts to say..this was the Verizon I have ALWAYS gone to...knew what I wanted and the price going in from calling Verizon, we thought it may be easier in the store to add a line...not so easy...took WAY longer than expected...they tried to upsell me from the start but I k ew better and what I was quoted already..was VERY unclear once we left of new payments, auto pay was supposed to be set up for a discount and wasnt...called today 611 to get it all straightened out and got a WAY better deal at WAY less hassle and that how I found autopay wasnt set up and discount was not applied...not a happy camper and didnt feel great after our experience there...save the trouble and call Verizon 1st and then go in if you feel you even need to...wish I had a better review..but I dont

I waited 45 minutes even though I had an appointment. Then a couple came in after me and was helped before me. The sales associate stated they had an appointment before me. I was not happy with this along with the fact that when I tried to call the store earlier I could not speak to anyone. I got an automated system. The sales associate stated this was bc of Corona. All calls were going to a Verizon automated system and no calls were to go to the stores directly. I didnt know Corona travels through phone lines now too. Also, when I got to the store not one person came over to check me in. I saw a bunch of people being helped- which ok good- but there were a bunch of workers standing around joking. Not professional at all. All in all my problem was solved after a good amount of time, but this operation could be handled much better.

Gotta say that for the first time we were in and out of this place within 45 mins. This is the location if choice for my familys wireless needs. I have always found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. But the time it would normally take to get anything done was aggravating. There never seemed to be enough staff to attend to customers. The new setup under Corona guidelines has really streamlined and hastened the purchasing process. I was pleasantly surprised by my last visit here.

I hate the store. They made a mistake, but they didn’t correct it, so I have to pay more.One star I grade is too much. I want to grade “0”I am going to say about it. I purchased an iPhone this summer with my previous phone number. iPhone was buy one get one free, so I purchased one more phone with new number.But the phone was wrong phone. Nobody knew it because the phone worked for talking. But I realized the phone didn’t work for message and some app a few days later. It wasn’t my fault.I went back to the sore. They give me another new phone and number. I didn’t ask them another new phone and number. I just wanted the phone worked.I thought I would pay for one phone, but the bill said I have to pay for two phones. I already paid three times and I have to pay the rest of the money for two phones.It is unfair. I didn’t make a mistake and it’s not my fault, but nobody is taking responsibility.I want to meet you (owner) to correct. When are you available?

Staff was great. Knowledgeable, friendly. Very patient and accommodating. Give different options to resolve our problem. They now have individual separate spaces with plexy glass shields for everyones protection. They have alcohol swabs to disinfect, plus hand sanitizer pumps.

I walked in to this location with the intention of purchasing an expensive cellphone case and accessories for my phone, and also maybe upgrading. No one helped me. I was ignored. I walked around the store, and was completely invisible to everyone. I even went over to the wall of cases. Then I went over to an associate, and he was rude to me. Definitely a one star.

After having a horrible experience at the South Shore Mall location, I came here and was very happy with my visit. The staff member who helped me not only resolved the issue I was having with my phone, but he also let me know that I could switch to a better plan which will also save me money. This location isnt close to where I live, but Ill go out of my way to come here for the much better customer service and product knowledge.

Could the company post that on their website when they change their hours as it said they would be open till 7 on Sunday.

Fairly long wait for service. Maybe 20 minutes. They seemed under staffed for a holiday period. I was also disappointed that their $40 unlimited plan per line assumes a family of 4. Prices go up the less lines you have.

Ordered an iPhone through Verizon Wireless customer service and had to pick at Verizon store in Smithhaven mall. I was told the order was cancelled and i needed to re-purchase through Verizon store. Took 2 hours between contacting customer service and store employee to finally purchase phone. They told me I needed to pay $40 for an upgrade fee when online they were only charging $20. They refused to comply with my online order and told me to re-purchase online. I went home and re-purchased the item and came back to pick up and they told me it wasnt ready. After another 2 hours to straightened out the issue with Verizon wireless customer support the Verizon store still refused to waive the upgrade fees and told Verizon wireless to do it while i was in the store. The employees in this Verizon store were not helpful at all and were even rude to their fellow employees at Verizon customer service

I had a great experience at verizon in lake grove. went there with my wife to get iphone for my son for christmas .I was lucky enough to get ashley she was incredible. So helpful great personality. was so happy we got her we usually go to different verizon store but no more.all my business will go to verizon in lake grove because of Ashley she was so helpful took her time with us she deffinately deserves a raise.the manager there was also very nice and helpful.by the way returning there to get my daughter new iphone see you soon ashley .very nice really had a great experience in all will be telling all my friends and family to go there and get ashley shes the best.

I went to Verizon to exchange a auto charger which I had purchased I thought about a month ago for my Android. When I went there the rep told me I purchased it over a year ago. He went on his I pad and started it showed up as 4/18 purchase. I told him it couldnt be more than. 4 or 5 weeks agobut he was insisting nothing showed as purchase in the past month or two. Eventually I told him I used my credit cardand lo and behold there were my purchases not 4 weeks ago but 3 weeks ago. At that point the exchange was made and I was given a charger that worked. The day that everything that a computer tells us is taken as the word of God we are in deep trouble. For the amount of money I have pumped into Verizon I should have been taken for my word. Being treated like I was trying to pull a fast one did not sit welland Verizon should give their employees a lesson in customer service. Bad experience

Went in on multiple occasions and was repeatedly told that the Moto mod they had in stock would not work with my phone. When I first asked for the device it was only $50 (it is now $400) and they told me it was incompatible with a Moto z4??? The Moto mods are made for the phone.

I needed my screen protector put on and they put it on wrong. Then when I came back with a new one they didnt know how to put it on so they referred me to Best Buy who didnt know what they were talking about. Sometimes they help and sometimes not.

Visit the Verizon store in Smithtown Mall to get my new phone turned on much quicker was with the associate Steven very helpful very polite very knowledgeable recommend if you have to go to Verizon definitely go to the Verizon store in Smithtown Mall its not in the mall its outside on the corner but in the mall shopping center do not go to one of the small stores definitely go thats why Im telling you to go its a much better experience than one of those little outlet stores it takes one to three to transfer all your pictures and everything when you get a new phone its not like it was a couple years ago they did away with those machines cuz I know couple years ago when I got a new phone took a while for them to transfer everything now its one two three and everything is transferred within 10 minutes everything is transferred to your new phone highly recommend

Not good long wait charge for everything over charge for data plans ands they do not service anything all gets either shipped out or you pay for insurance on equipment and then you pay for repair anyway I went to the mobile my phone bill went from 316.00 a month to 149.00 a month it was a no brainer
