DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I received a call they were on their way and then an hour later told they got in an accident and that someone would call me to discuss. No one ever called, I spent the entire day calling their National customer service line and was able to get the local number but they were closed for the day. These movers just never showed up and I was never called. I have never worked with such an UNPROFESSIONAL service - moving or otherwise. This company is essentially a scam. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau for this franchise location.

Called them to haul some furniture away. They showed up with a full truck and couldnt take our furniture. They said they would be back the next day. They never showed up. We rescheduled them a few days later on their website and again they didnt show up. We called and left a message and received zero response. I would not recommend them.

We recently hired College HUNKS to help us move. My partner and I ordered a pack/move/unload service and were scheduled for an estimate. On the day and time of our scheduled estimate, the rep, Rihanna, texted me and stated she was no longer in my area so she couldn’t come that day. She did her estimate over the phone based on what I told her. Then, I called about a week or two later to actually schedule the appointment and the customer service rep who took my payment forgot to add the packing to the order and was supposed to contact the local office to add it. Apparently she never did because the guys were supposed to come the day before and pack everything and they didn’t. I called that afternoon and they told me that movers were going to be there on my scheduled moving day. The time given was 9:30-10:30am. The guys that showed up arrived at 11am and told us they were late because their shop was robbed. They did not have the boxes to pack things up, and because it was only two of them, it took them 10 hours to pack all our heavier stuff into their truck and unload it into our new place. They said they talked to their manager and would be back the next day to do the packing, but they never called, never arrived. After calling customer service, the rep responded as if I was an annoyance to her and that my experience with the company wasn’t her problem. She told me that she put a message to the local manager to contact me, but no one ever reached out. If you’re looking for a company to move you, find someone else. College HUNKS can’t be bothered.

Great value and professional service. In a pinch, we needed a little extra help with our move across town.Cilas and Tony came to save the day. Expert and speedy movers, professional, and capable. But what really stood out was their positive outlook. Our job was an evening appointment, set for after they already moved an entire house. We joked around and made the best of a challenging move (because that’s why you hire movers, right?). I should have known when our estimator canceled due to car problems in the time frame they were to show up that this was not a reliable way to go. But I kept the faith, even after she arrived only to tell me there was no availability within a 2 week period of time of the move. Complete waste of two days-the first waiting around for someone not to come, and then waiting again for her to walk around my house for 20 minutes before checking the date (which I had already spoken to someone about at corporate.Today, we took off work again, waited around in our 1-3 window and at 2:40 I get a text that someone had an emergency and they wouldnt be making it. not this am....IN THE WINDOW of when they should have been here. After we missed work waiting, dragged and took furniture apart. Totally unprofessional. Its a shame-what a great concept. But dont rely on it.

Their scheduler was helpful and friendly. And while I understand complications can arise, College Hunks canceled on me twice and I had to go with another company to haul away my junk. Didnt want to do that but I couldnt risk them canceling on me a third time. And I really needed to get rid of the stuff.

The crew was professional, hard-working and pleasant. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. And the was right. Would highly recommend this service.

Set up an appointment to have someone come out and give us an estimate. No call no show. Emailed and called the office, got a call from the office assistant who said she is only there in the afternoons and didnt even know they were behind. She also said she would have someone call me in a few minutes. That was two days ago. Not very trustworthy. I will be calling someone else.

These guys were great! Super friendly, super professional and a great sense of humor! Definitely recommend and would use again!

These guys were extremely careless. My furniture was damaged, my walls were damaged, the leader of the crew screamed and cursed at me because he didn’t want me to report the damages. I strongly advise you to look at virtually any other moving company, these guys are bottom of the barrel bad. It’s been almost a week and no one has followed up on my complaints so I’m stuck paying for the repairs on my own. This is not the experience you want when you move into a new house!

I’ve never used movers before but my experience made it totally worth it. Tony, Junior, and Elijah did a great job moving all of my family’s stuff out of a 3 bedroom apartment and into a house. Tony was a great guy to work with and seemed like he took pride in his work. After a short walk through, it was like he mentally catalogued all of my stuff and had the whole move planned in his head. Junior and Elijah worked their butts off. I don’t think I ever saw these guys standing still. Happy to have chosen this company for moving. Made a stressful move way less stressful. Not to mention they were just fun to hang out with while we moved.

The service was impressively fast and easy. At 1pm on Saturday I called them, by 2pm the furniture was gone from my lawn. I will definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs stuff gotten rid of fast.

I was very happy with the service I received. The gentlemen who moved my items we careful and placed them in all the areas I requested. They came in under budget and only charged me for time spent on the job. I would recommend College Hunks and I will definitely use them for my next move.

Cornell and Lorenzo were terrific for our last-minute unloading of a moving truck. They were flexible (we arrived a bit later than planned), worked fast and hard, went up and down a lot of stairs, and were very pleasant to have around.

I had a small local move and guys that came were extremely helpful and professional. They even helped me put my bed together which was wonderful.

Amanda and her team were awesome. They were punctual and did a great job of removing large items, including a very heavy, awkward treadmill up the basement steps.

Ghosted us on moving day, crew never even contacted us and the call center gave us the runaround. Run, dont walk, away from this company.

Highly recommend! Extremely nice, and efficient team. We had two smaller projects for them, which we approximated taking an hour or so, and they were done in about half that time. Not only were they quick, they were extremely careful with our belongings and our home - we were able to have our tasks completed with absolutely no damage to our home which can be difficult when moving things! Lastly, we called on a Sunday, gave our information, and they were out to our house the next day. We had a wonderful customer service experience on the phone too. Just overall, a wonderful and pleasant experience!

I set up an appointment for an estimate for 1/31. Driver called to say they were behind and not likely to arrive. Respectful and understandable. Rescheduled to Monday, 10-12.Monday: At 11:50 no one had arrived or called to cancel. I called to office and the manage explains that they are delayed because of damaged trucks, someone was suppose to notify me. Manager then explained he would get a truck and head, approx an hour.I call again at 1:05 to get an update because no one had arrived or called to cancel. Agent explains they are 1hr to 45min behind schedule. I have been waiting since 10am! I explain to the agent about my inconvenience and I am not able to wait around. Agent assured me I would receive a call 1/2hr prior to driver arrival.Final Outcome: Driver shows up at 2:12. Calls me to say they have been knocking on door and ringing bell for several minutes. Sir, I explain, I am not home because I have been waiting since 10am. I was told I would receive a call from the drive 1/2hr prior to arrival. Driver responded: You did receive a call from Shelby. I respond: I was told I would get a call prior to your arrival. Driver again repeated aggressively that I received a call from Shelby, and he knows I did because he was on the other line! He then added you got the call, and you were not told anything about a call, also stated that he knows I spoke with Shelby! I never spoke with Shelby!Staff may be trained, but customer service is horrible! I called to speak with the manager Shelby at 2:30. I am still waiting for a return call from him/her. I am horrified at the driver for how he spoke to me, as a customer. I am horrified at the response of the staff and management to my complaint! I will NEVER call this company again, nor recommend the Lancaster branch.

College Hunks arrived on time with a call before to inform me of their arrival time. After walking through with me, they gave me a price quote and went right to work. They were in an out in about an hour total. Both young men were courteous and polite.Would definitely recommend!

The company was easy to deal with, they would have come out the same day I called them but I wasnt ready so I was able to schedule them for the next day. Arrived on time, very respectful of me and my home. Cornell and Tony were do awesome. They got we went over what I needed moved around and they came up with a game plan. At no time was there any standing around or looking at cells phones. Theses two guys worked the whole 2 hrs they were at my home. I will not hesitate to use them again, would would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The College Hunks team came by one afternoon to do an estimate and then returned the following day to remove several household appliances, furnishings and similar goods. Both arrival times were within the appointment time window. And, I was very pleased to get an advance call that they were on their way. I was doing a removal as part of the moving out of an apartment process. Some of the items were in good working condition, which they promised to be donated and other items to be junked. The removal process was very smooth and efficient and the costs reasonable for the efforts involved. I look forward to using the service again and would recommend them.

My experience with college hunks was nothing but good. The quote process and booking was quick and easy - much better than some of their competitors I was also looking at.They showed up right on time were very cordial and professional and packed my things with great care.There was a miscommunication with the main office regarding having boxes to load on. The crew quickly adapted and brought a truck big enough anyways so were prepared for the unforeseen amount of things to move.Despite this mix up they still came in under the quoted price even with all the additional items to carry to my new home.I really appreciated college hunks overall they did a great job and I would certainly use them again in the future.

I had the HUNKS load a 16ft POD for my move to FL. Tony, Mark B, & Mark D were safe, efficient and diligent to not only pack but ensure that furniture was well protected from scratch and dent. They finished ahead of schedule saving time and money. Ill be calling them soon for the unloading.😎

I had read good reviews of College Hunks so I decided to to check them out. I was sitting in a WaWa parking lot and googled their name to see if they were legit. Just as the results came back, one of their trucks pulled up in front of me! I didnt tempt fate, and besides, they gave me a good price, so I tried them out. Communication via phone and email was very prompt and very professional. And the moving guys were great! They had to contend with steep staircases and weird corners and angles, but managed to get every piece inside, and without a scratch or nick on anything. Very professional workers. I highly recommend College Hunks Moving.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with College Hunks. When my movers backed out last minute, I didn’t know where to go. But I called College Hunks and within minutes of calling, the dispatcher got me a quote and a time that was within 48 hours of my call. It was fast and I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off. It was fair pricing that made me comfortable using them. When they were about 20 minutes out, Tony and Bobo called to give me an update on their location. From there it was as if I didn’t need to be there. Even with some more difficult pieces, they were able to make this move be over in the blink of an eye. They were fun, kind, and kept me calm during the whole process. College Hunks took a disaster moving weekend and made it almost impossibly easy in just 48 hours.I will be recommending them to everyone I know! UPDATE- Their response argues that they are trained . Also we actually got a larger truck than what was originally planned. The individual at College Hunks was unable to properly measure the truck and tried to say it was 23 when it was 28 and a foot higher than what was suggested (26). So their comment on size is laughable and quite honestly sad that they are trying to say that we had a smaller truck than suggested.Just because you train does not mean they are qualified nor good at their jobs. Also blaming it on the trailer? When the issues with packing stemmed from their own expertise. A complete cop out and disgusting. Own up to your mistakes instead of blaming the customer. Horrible service. It furthers my warning to NOT use this company.Absolutely horrible. Owner wont talk to you unless he knows why your calling. Had to throw away a TON of things that should have fit. The movers moved slow and were horrible at packing the truck. They quoted us 6 hours so we moved all of our items outside and in the garage to make it easier on them/quicker.... they still took the 6 hours due to their inability to pack a truck and sluggishness. Absolutely horrific experience would not recommend to ANYONE. Awfully upset we used this company, if I could only use a time machine once it would be to go back and not use College Hunks movers in Lancaster PA. Their lack of experience showed and I cannot imagine Im the only one that complains, I think it is evident based on the owners response to not freely taking phone calls. DO NOT USE.

Called the first week of December to have some pieces of furniture swapped around in my house. Was able to schedule that same weekend and it took Adam and Cole less than 20 minutes to do the job. Thank you so much guys! You have just enabled me to wreak more havoc in my house. Lol. No, this will make it easier for me to organize so I appreciate the help.

The company did not send the 30-minute heads up of the movers arrival as promised. The two young men who moved my belongings were very slow to get my 25 or so boxes into their truck- my younger brother moved all the boxes solo in less than 30 minutes a few weeks prior. The two movers did not let anyone know when they had finished loading the truck, leaving the front door wide open and driving off. They also left the door to the air-conditioned room where the boxes were being stored wide open after them, and the small ac unit is likely damaged from trying to cool an entire floor for several hours. The service I received did not meet the expectations that the other reviews here led me to have. I suspect my experience is atypical.

3 very nice guys showed up. Very polite and efficient. In and out in less that a 1/2 hour. Will definitely recommend and use this service again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I was quoted one price in the house but when I was charged it was significantly more. The manager told me I was being unreasonable when I called the local office. The 888# took my information & said I would hear back from someone. Not yet!!!! They said the furniture would go to a non profit first but the way they were shoving it in the truck I think it probably went by the side of the road.
